GENESIS CHAPTER 15

This Chapter provides much Spiritual Meat and the foundation for many things in Fathers Word. It is within this Chapter that we witness Father YHVH establishing the Covenant with Abramit will not be until two Chapters from now till Father changes Abrams name to Abrahamand Father telling Abram that his descendants will be as numerous as the stars of heaven; but first, He will cause Abrams descendants to go into captivity to the Egyptians for four hundred years. Why? Ill let Father explain that, well read His answer in verse v15:13-14.

Genesis 15:1 AfterH310 theseH428 thingsH1697 the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 cameH1961 untoH413 AbramH87 (high father; and, a high father) (ab-rawmי) in a vision,H4236 saying,H559FearH3372 not,H408 Abram:H87 IH595 am thy shield,H4043 and thy exceedingH3966 greatH7235 reward.”H7939   —>   After these things…=After what things brethren? The these things is referring us back to the last Chapter Genesis 14, where Abram was fresh from returning from rescuing his nephew Lot, and then being greeted by MelchizedekJesusFatherin His transfigured body. How can I say with surety that it was Jesus Who greeted Abram? Look at How Melchizedek greeted Abram, lets turn to Genesis 14 and read it: (Genesis 14:18 And MelchizedekH4442 kingH4428 of SalemH8004 brought forthH3318 breadH3899 and wine:H3196 and heH1931 was the priestH3548 of the MOST HIGHH5945 GOD.H410   —>   First off, did you notice the parenthesis brethren? These verses are an insert, which interrupts, in order to interpret for us. Now lets get into the meat of these verses brethren. Who was and is Melchizedek? Lets start by looking at the Strongs Concordance, when we do, we find that the word/name Melchizedek is Strongs Hebrew word number: H4442, - מַלְכִּי־צֶדֶק, - malkı̂y-tsedeq, - pronounced: mal-kee-tsehי-dek, and means: From H4428 and H6664; king of right; Malki-Tsedek, an early king in Palestine: - Melchizedek. Total KJV occurrences: 2.. We see that Melchizedek is made up of a combination of two other Hebrew words: H4428 and H6664. Hebrew word number H4424 is king, and Hebrew word number 6664, means just(-ice), or right(-eous), so combined the meaning of Melchizedek is: King of the Just, or king of Righteousness. We also see that the word/name Melchizedek is found twice in the Old Testament, obviously one time is in the verse we just readGenesis 14:18the other is found in: Psalms 110:4, which reads: Psalms 110:1 The LORDH3068 saidH5002 unto my Lord,H113SitH3427 Thou at My right hand,H3225 UntilH5704 I makeH7896 Thine enemiesH341 Thy footstool.”H1916 H727 [110:2] The LORDH3068 shall sendH7971 the rodH4294 of Thy strengthH5797 out of Zion:H4480 H6726 RuleH7287 Thou in the midstH7130 of Thine enemies.H341 [110:3] Thy peopleH5971 shall be willingH5071 in the dayH3117 of Thy power,H2428 in the beautiesH1926 of holinessH6944 from the wombH4480 H7358 of the morning:H4891 Thou hast the dewH2919 of Thy youth.H3208 [110:4] The LORDH3068 hath sworn,H7650 and will notH3808 repent,H5162 ThouH859 art a priestH3548 for everH5769 afterH5921 the orderH1700 of Melchizedek.H4442   —>   There is only One Who sits at Fathers right hand, and That One, is His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ. Therefore, this Melchizedek is Jesus Christ. Think long and hard on this a moment brethren, Abraham lived from 1996-1821B.C., this therefore is Jesuss second time walking on earth in His transfigured body before He was actually born in the flesh. His first time was in the Garden of Eden in Genesis 2. What did we just read in Genesis 14:18? That Melchizedek brought bread and wine when He came to Abram. What are our Communion Sacriments today? Bread and Wine. What are the Bread and Wine symbolic of? The Body and Blood of Jesus. So, during Jesus second walk on earth in His transfigured body, He brings what He knows will in the future become the Communion Sacriments to AbrahamAgain, think long and hard on this, as Jesus blood-line traces all the way back to Abraham, in other words, Jesus mother Mary, can trace her lineage, bloodline-to-bloodline, back to AbrahamLuke 3:23-34. Paul, in the New Testament, in Hebrews 7, also talks of Melchisedec and His meeting of Abram here in Genesis 14. He further goes into detail explaining how Melchisedec is Christ. Genesis 14:19 And he blessedH1288 him, and said,H559 “BlessedH1288 be AbramH87 of the MOST HIGHH5945 GOD,H410 possessorH7069 of heavenH8064 and earth:H776   —>   …Most HIGH GOD…=This Title of Father in the Hebrew manuscripts, in the Strongs Concordance, is EL ELYON, - EL being, The ALMIGHTY. From the Strongs Concordance, we read the following: strength; as adjective mighty; especially the Almighty I strongly disagree with the following(but used also of any deity): - God (god), X goodly, X great, idol, might (-y one), power, strong. Compare names in -el. Total KJV occurrences: 242., from Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible Appendix: 4, we read: EL is essentially the Almighty, though the word is never so rendered. EL is Elohim in all His strength,/span> and power. It is rendered God as Elohim is, but El is God the Omnipotent. Elohim is God the Creator putting His omnipotence into operation. Eloah is God Who wills and orders all, and Who is to be the one object of the worship of His people. El is the God Who knows all (first occ. Genesis 14:18,22) and sees all (Genesis 16:13) and that performeth all things for His people (Psalms 57:2); and in Whom all the Divine attributes are concentrated. El is indicated in this edition by type in large capital letters, thus: GOD. It is sometimes transliterated in proper names Immanue-'el, Beth-'el, &c., where it is translated, as explained in the margin., and from hebrew4christians.com, we read: EL ELYON. THE MOST HIGH GOD. This Title stresses GODS Strength, Sovereignty, and Supremacy (Genesis 14:20, psalms 9:2). Sometimes referred to in Scripture simply as ELYON (e.g., Numbers 24:16).. Genesis 14:20 And blessedH1288 be the MOST HIGHH5945 GOD,H410 WhichH834 hath deliveredH4042 thine enemiesH6862 into thy hand.”H3027 And he gaveH5414 him tithesH4643 of all.)H4480 H3605   —>   Abram gave tithes to Melchizedek is another indicator that Melchizedek is Christ.

So anyway, after these things, Abram has a visiona dreamand in this vision, Father says to him: I AM thy shield and thy exceeding great reward. In this we read of Fathers name 'ehyeh 'asher 'ehyeh I AM THAT I AM. We read the following in hebrew4christians: The phrase 'ehyeh 'asher 'ehyeh (rendered as I AM THAT I AM in the KJV) derives from the Qal imperfect first person form of the verb hayah: I will be, and therefore indicates a connection between YHVH and Being Itself. YHVH is the source of all being and has being inherent in Himself (i.e., He is necessary Being). Everything else is contingent being that derives existence from Him. When God commissioned Moses to be Israels liberator from the bondage pharaohs Egypt, he asked for Gods name in order to validate his God-given role to the children of Israel (see Exodus 3:14). God simply answered Moses 'ehyeh 'asher 'ehyeh.. And then we also see Thy shield=The Incarnate Christ, is Faiths shield of Ephesians 6:16.

…thy exceeding great reward=We read In Ezekiel 44 that the reward and inheritance of the Zadok, i.e., Father elect, in the Millennium Age and beyond, is Father. Paul tells us in Romans 8:17 that We become joint heirs with Christ Romans 8:17 AndG1161 ifG1487 children,G5043 thenG2532 heirs;G2818 heirsG2818 of(G3303) God,G2316 andG1161 joint-heirsG4789 with Christ;G5547 if so be thatG1512 we suffer withG4841 Him, thatG2443 we may be alsoG2532 glorified together.G4888 and we will reign with Him in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, His Kingdom; we will be with Him all through eternity.

The LORD=This Title of Father as used here in this verse, is Father in His Role of יְהֹוָה, YHVHfrom Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible Appendices: YHVH, YAHVEH, or YEHOVAHthe sacred and personal name of Father. While Elohim is God as the Creator of all things, YEHOVAH is the same God in covenant relation to those whom He has created (compare II Chronicles 18:31). YEHOVAH means the Eternal, the Immutable One, He Who WAS, and IS, and IS TO COME. The Divine definition is given in Genesis 21:33. He is especially, therefore, the God of Israel; and the God of those who are redeemed, and are thus now in Christ. We can say My God, but not My YEHOVAH, for YEHOVAH is MY God..

Abram=The name Abram in the Strongs Concordance, is Hebrew word number H87, - אַבְרָם, - 'abrâm, - pronounced: ab-rawmי, and means: Contracted from H48; high father; Abram, the original name of Abraham: - Abram. Total KJV occurrences: 61.. I will follow after Dr. Smith and Dr. Easton and give the description of the name Abraham. XXX .

15:2 Enquiry, What wilt Thou give.
1A2
Genesis 15:2 And AbramH87 said,H559 “LordH136 GOD,H3069 whatH4100 wilt Thou giveH5414 me, seeing IH595 goH1980 childless,H6185 and the stewardH1121 H4943 of my houseH1004 is thisH1931 EliezerH461 (YAH of help; and, YAH is his help) (el-ee-ehי-zer) of Damascus (neither the Strongs Concordance nor the Smiths Bible Dictionary provide a meaning of the name Damascus) (dam-mehי-sek)?”H1834    —>   Abram at this stage in his life is approximately 90 years old and is married to Sarai, who also is quite old, she is 80though young for these times as compared to our times today. But at present, Abram and Sarai are without the child which Father had previously promised them in Genesis 13:15, which reads: Genesis 13:15 ForH3588 (H853) allH3605 the landH76 whichH834 thouH859 seest,H7200 to thee will I giveH5414 it, and to thy seedH2233 for ever.H5704 H5769 —> It is here in Genesis 13:15 that Father makes the promise to Abram of coming offspring thy seed. [13:16] And I will makeH7760 (H853) thy seedH2233 as the dustH6083 of the earth:H776 so thatH834 ifH518 a manH376 canH3201 numberH4487 (H853) the dustH8063 of the earth,H776 then shall thy seedH2233 alsoH1571 be numbered.H4487   —>   Not just a singular son, but multitudes of offspring; this doesnt mean his own children, for theyAbram and Saraiwill have only one sonIsaacbut, from and in that one son, we get the name which Father will change Abrams name from and to. In Genesis 17:5, Father will change it from Abram to Abraham, which is in the Strongs Concordance, is Hebrew word number: H85, - אַבְרָהָם, - 'abrâhâm, - pronounced: ab-raw-hawmי, and means: Contracted from H1 and an unused root (probably meaning to be populous); father of a multitude; Abraham, the later name of Abram: - Abraham. Total KJV occurrences: 175., or father of many nations. [13:17] Arise,H6965 walkH1980 through the landH776 in the lengthH573 of it and in the breadthH7341 of it; forH3588 I will giveH5414 it unto thee.   —>   Father is telling Abram to look all around him, as far as his eye can see, all this land, will Father give to Abrams offspring. [13:18] Then AbramH87 removed his tent,H167 and cameH935 and dweltH3427 in the plainH436 of Mamre ((in the sense of vigor) lusty; and, strength, fatness) (mam-rayי),H4471 which is in Hebron (From H2267, seat of association; and, alliance) (kheb-roneי),H2275 and builtH1129 thereH8033 an altarH4196 unto the LORD.H3068   —>   Abram is so pleased and thankful to Father, that the first thing he does is build an altar, and then offers tithes and worships Father.

Abram says to Father, that it is only he and Sarai, and their steward, Eliezer. Though he is from Damascus and is not of the Adamic lineage, we will see when we read Genesis 24 that he will worship Father. We can compare Abrams steward Eliezer with a name which sounds similar, and should be familiar to you Eleazar Aarons third son. We can see another similarity in the names Eliezer and Eleazar, Eliezer means: God of help, and Eleazar means: God (is) helper.
Eliezer
Eliezer=Abrams Chief servant, or steward of his house. We dont know Eliezers lineage, as Fathers Word doesnt say; but, it does say that he was from Damascus, thus making him most likely a Syrian. He is mentioned twice in Fathers WordGenesis 15:2 and Genesis 24in Genesis 15:2, we only read that Abram tells Father that he has no heir, but only Eliezer, the steward of his house. In Genesis 24, we read that Abraham was well stricken in years, meaning that he was getting up there in age, and his son Isaac still had not yet taken a wife. So, Abraham calls his eldest servant who is in all probability, this same Eliezer, and tells him that it is time to find a wife for Isaac, and he is going to send him to find one. In doing so, he makes Eliezer swear that he will not take one of the daughters of the Canaanites; but, that he should go to the land of Abrahams nativity to seek a wife for Isaac. We read the following in Genesis 24: Genesis 24:4 ButH3588 thou shalt goH1980 untoH413 my country,H776 and toH413 my kindred,H4138 and takeH3947 a wifeH802 unto my sonH1121 Isaac.”H3327 [24:5] And the servantH5650 saidH559 untoH413 him, “PeradventureH194 the womanH802 will notH3808 be willingH14 to followH1980 H310 me untoH413 thisH2063 land:H776 must I needs bringH7725 H7725 (H853) thy sonH1121 again untoH413 the landH776 from whenceH834 H4480 H8033 thou camest?”H3318 [24:6] And AbrahamH85 saidH559 untoH413 him, “BewareH8104 thou thatH6435 thou bringH7725 not(H853) my sonH1121 thitherH8033 again. [24:7] The LORDH3068 GodH430 of heaven,H8064 WhichH834 tookH3947 me from my father’s house,H4480 H1004 H1 and from the landH4480 H776 of my kindred,H4138 and WhichH834 spakeH1696 unto me, and ThatH834 swareH7650 unto me, saying,H559 ‘Unto thy seedH2233 will I giveH5414 (H853) thisH2063 land;’H776 HeH1931 shall sendH7971 His angelH4397 beforeH6440 thee, and thou shalt takeH3947 a wifeH802 unto my sonH1121 from thence.H4480 H8033 [24:8] And ifH518 the womanH802 will notH3808 be willingH14 to followH1980 H310 thee, then thou shalt be clearH5352 from this my oath:H4480 H7621 H2063 onlyH7535 bringH7725 notH3808 (H853) my sonH1121 thitherH8033 again.” [24:9] And the servantH5650 putH7760 (H853) his handH3027 underH8478 the thighH3409 of AbrahamH85 his master,H113 and swareH7650 to him concerningH5921 thatH2088 matter.H1697   —>   So, Abraham made Eliezer swear, and Eliezer swore that he would not take a Canaanite woman for Isaac and he also swore, that if the woman he chose for Isaac, should she choose to not come with him, then he would not force her. Abraham, told him that Fathers Angel would be with him and guide him, but should the woman choose not to be willing to come, then Eliezer was free from the oath. The two men then separate with Eliezer heading off to find a wife for Isaac. Along the way, he stopped by a well about the time that women were to come to the well to draw water, and we read next in Genesis 24, the following: Genesis 24:12 And he said,H559 “O LORDH3068 GodH430 of my masterH113 Abraham,H85 I pray Thee,H4994 send me good speedH7136 H6440 this day,H3117 and shewH6213 kindnessH6217 untoH5973 my masterH113 Abraham.H85 [24:13] Behold,H2009 IH595 standH5324 here byH5921 the wellH5869 of water;H4325 and the daughtersH1323 of the menH376 of the cityH5892 come outH3318 to drawH7579 water:H4325 [24:14] And let it come to pass,H1961 that the damselH5291 to whomH834 I shall say,H559 H413 ‘Let downH5186 thy pitcher,H3537 I pray thee,H4994 that I may drink;’H8354 and she shall say,H559 ‘Drink,H8354 and I will give thy camelsH1581 drinkH8248 also:’H1571 let the same be she that Thou hast appointedH3198 for thy servantH5650 Isaac;H3327 and thereby shall I knowH3045 thatH3588 thou hast shewedH6213 kindnessH2617 untoH5973 my master.”H113   —>   So, Eliezer stops by a well of water, and the first thing he does is Pray. Who does he pray to? Yes, the Genesis 24:12 says he prayed to the God of Abraham; but brethren, notice he calls Father by both His sacred name YHVH and by Who He is, Creator of all things: ELOHIM. Had we continued reading, we would have read that Father answered his Prayer, we would have read that even before he was done Praying to Father, Rebekah showed up and not only did she show up; but, she met all the requirements and was willing to go with Eliezer in order to become Isaacs wife, without ever having met the man. For the etymology of the name Eliezer, we read the following from Abarim Publications: The name Eliezer is a compound of two elements. The first part is the word אל (El), the common abbreviation of Elohim, meaning God (or gods): The second part comes from the verb עזר (azar) meaning to help or support: The meaning of the name Eliezer is God Of Help (Jones Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names and New Open Bible Study Edition (NOBSE) Study Bible Name List) or God Is Help (Brown Driver Briggs (BDB) Theological Dictionary). Note the (assumed) phonetic similarity between the word עזר (azar) meaning help, support, and עשר ss(יeser), meaning ten; to a Hebrew audience, the name Eliezer may have sounded like Gods Ten.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H461, - אֱלִיעֶזֶר, - 'ĕlı̂y‛ezer, pronounced - el-ee-ehי-zer, and means: from H410 and H5828; YAH of help; Eliezer, the name of a Damascene and of ten Israelites: - Eliezer. Total KJV occurrence: 14.. Now from the Eastons Bible Dictionary, where we read: God his help. Of Damascus, the steward (RSV, possessor) of Abrahams house (Genesis 15:2,3). It was probably he who headed the embassy sent by Abraham to the old home of his family in Padan-aram to seek a wife for his son Isaac. The account of this embassy is given at length in Genesis 24..

15:3 Enquiry, What wilt Thou give.
1A3
Genesis 15:3 And AbramH87 said,H559 “Behold,H2005 to me Thou hast givenH5414 noH3808 seed:H2233 and, lo,H2009 one bornH1121 in mine houseH1004 is mine heir.”H3423   —>   In the laws before Sinai 400 plus hundred years before Father gave the 10 commandments to Moses and the Israelites, the law of the land was the Code of Khammurabi, and in Code 191 of this law, is, the Law of Adoption, which, with Abram and Sarai without child, it would have made Eliezer Abrams heir. And here in this verse, Abram is reminding Father of this fact.

This Code of KhammurabiAmraphel, the king of ShinarGenesis 14:1from Dr. Bullingers Companion notes: Amraphel = Khammurabi of the Tablets. Ammurapi is Amraphel transliterated.. Dr. Bullinger has an Appendix: 15 dedicated to The Laws before Sinai. He writes: The existence of Laws in the book of Genesis and Exodus is evident, though there is no formal record of their delivery. Cp. Exodus 18:16. Doubtless some were made known to mankind, as such, by God, e.g. The Law of the Sabbath (Genesis 2:3). The days noted in connection with the flood are all sabbaths except one, Genesis 8:5, Tuesday. See note on Genesis 8:10,12,14. The law of the place to worship (Genesis 4:3,4,16). The law of offerings (Genesis 4:4), &c. But, side by side with these special Divine communications, the Babylonian laws were codified in the age of Abraham. In A.D. 1901, the Code of Amraphel (Khammurabi), Genesis 14:1, was discovered in Susa by M. J. de Morgan. The latest date for this code is 2139 B.C. Eight hundred years before Moses, these laws governed the peoples from the Persian Gulf to the Caspian Sea, and from Persia to the Mediterranean, and were in force throughout Canaan. This discovery overthrew the two main pillars of the higher critics, the kenites, who distort the Truthone of which was that such writing was unknown before Moses; the other, that a legal code was impossible before the Jewish kings. Hence, we have now before us both codes; and are in a position to answer Yehovahs question in Deuteronomy 4:8, What nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day? Khammurabi calls his laws the judgments of righteousness, but some of them, at least, are both unrighteous and unequal, as the following brief contrast shows at a glance :-- offense: Stealing, Punishment by Father: Restoring Double Exodus 22:9, punishment by Khammurabi: death, Offense: Burglary, Punishment by Father: Restoring Double Exodus 22:7, punishment by Khammurabi: death, Offense: harboring a fugitive slave, Punishment by Father: No Offense Deuteronomy 23:15, punishment by Khammurabi: death, Offense: Injuring a slave, Punishment by Father: Freedom given to the slave, punishment by Khammurabi: Master compensated, these a just a few of the examples he sitesWe see the laws of Khammurabi operating in Genesis in the following instances :-- The law of adoption made Eliezer Abrams heir (Genesis 15). The giving of Hagar to Abraham (Genesis 16); and of Bilhah (Genesis 30:4) and Zilpah (Genesis 30:9) to Jacob, accorded with this code: § 146. The purchase of Machpelah by Abraham (Genesis 23) was conducted in strict conformity with its commercial enactments: § 7. The taking of life for stealing, proposed by Jacob to Laban (Genesis 31:32), was enacted by this code, which punished sacrilege with death: § 6. The taking of life by burning, with which Judah threatened his daughter-in-law Tamar (Genesis 38:24), is also according to the Babylonian code: § 110. The proposal of Josephs steward, that the one with whom the cup was found should die (Genesis 44:9), harmonized with the law punishing with death any theft from a palace: § 6. The giving of a special portion by Jacob to his favorite son Joseph (Genesis 48:22) was provided for by this code: § 65. The cutting off of Reuben from his birthright (Genesis 49:4) was the prescribed way of punishing his offense according to Khammurabis law: § 158. Abram knew what the purpose of the heir or first born, was, it was to extend the wealth of a person to the next generation, and down through his bloodline. Father had promised Abram that the Messiah would come through his seed-line, i.e., his offspring. Abrahams future grandson Esau will despise his heritage, his birthright and it is for this reason that Father hated EsauMalachi 1:3 and Roman 9:13. Esau despised his heritage, so much that he sold his birthright to his brother Jacob for a bowl of red pottage as we read in Genesis 25. But it goes further than that, it goes back to the First Earth Age, and what Esau did there. We know this by what can be read in Romans 9:10-13, which reads: …(forG1063 the children being not yetG3380 born,G1080 neitherG3366 having doneG4238 anyG5100 goodG18 orG2228 evilG2556…JacobG2384 have I loved,G25 butG1161 EsauG2269 have I hated.G3404.

…one born in mine house is mine heir…=This is in reference to His mix breed son Ishmael, born of his wifehis concubine, as Sarai was his true wifeSarais Egyptian handmaid Hagar. As Ishmael is part Adamic and part Egyptian, he cannot be a rightful heir to the Promise. And since were on this subject, lets discuss it in detail. The premise today, of everybody being descendants of Adam and Eve, just does not hold water when thinking of the Promised Seed. Why? For several reasons: (1) If everybody descended from Adam and Eve, then how do we get\have all the races of peoples that we have today? We wouldnt and couldnt, it is genetically impossible. Also, DNA does not support this premise; (2) Father tells the Children of Israel to not mix with the other races, and this is because He needs the seed-line to stay pure until His birth He needs that lineage perfect meaning in pedigree, think of Noah, his wife, their sons and their wives as we read in Genesis 6, where we read: Genesis 6:9 THESEH428 are THE GENERATIONSH8435 OF NOAH:H5146 NoahH5146 wasH1961 a justH6662 manH376 and perfectH8549 in his generations,H1755 and NoahH5146 walkedH1980 withH854 God.H430   —>   The word generations obviously means, his offspring, his descent or his descendants, his family history. But, lets check out the word perfect in our Strongs Concordance, when we do, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H8549, - תָּמִים, - tâmı̂ym, - pronounced: taw-meemי, and means: From H8552; entire (literally, figuratively or morally); also (as noun) integrity, truth: - without blemish, complete, full, perfect, sincerely (-ity), sound, without spot, undefiled, upright (-ly), whole. Total KJV occurrences: 91.. Morally undefiled or blemished, as to breed or pedigree. So, in other words, Noah, his wife, their sons, and their sons wives were morally undefiled. Defiled how or by what? What does the Chapter say prior to verse v6:9? Lets turn back and read verses v6:1-2: Genesis 6:1 And it came to pass,H1961 whenH3588 menH120 beganH2490 to multiplyH7231 onH5921 the faceH6440 of the earth,H127 and daughtersH1323 were bornH3205 unto them,   —>   Lets check out this word began in our Strongs Concordance, when we do, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H2490, - חָלַל, - châlal, - pronounced: khaw-lalי, and means: A primitive root (compare H2470); properly to bore, that is, (by implication) to wound, to dissolve; figuratively to profane (a person, place or thing), to break (ones word), to begin (as if by an opening-wedge); denominatively (from H2485) to play (the flute): - begin (X men began), defile, X break, defile, X eat (as common things), X first, X gather the grape thereof, X take inheritance, pipe, player on instruments, pollute, (cast as) profane (self), prostitute, slay (slain), sorrow, stain, wound. Total KJV occurrences: 142.. So, we see that this word began as used here, has a much different meaning than what were used to. As used here it means to profane (person or self), defile, pollute, or prostitute. Are you starting to get the picture yet? [6:2] That the sonsH1121 of GodH430 sawH7200 (H853) the daughtersH1323 of menH120 thatH3588 theyH2007 were fair;H2896 and they tookH3947 them wivesH802 of allH4480 H3605 whichH834 they chose.H977   —>   …sons of God…=Who are these sons of God? They are the angels, the fallen angels whom Jude writes about in his one Chapter Epistle: Jude 1:6 AndG5037 the angelsG32 which keptG5083 notG3361 theirG1438 first estate,G746 butG235 leftG620 their ownG2398 habitation,G3613 He hath reservedG5083 in everlastingG126 chainsG1199 underG5259 darknessG2217 untoG1519 the judgmentG2920 of the greatG3173 day.G2250   —>   So these angels left their own habitation, which is heaven, and came to earth while still in their angelic bodies and they started messing and mating with flesh women, and men too. What does Father think of what they did? He has them set aside for the great day of judgment, in other words, they are going into the lake of fire, no ifs, ands, or buts about it! They have already been judged to the Second Death the death of the soul! Peter also told us what is going to happen to these angels who left their own habitation, turn with me to II Peter 2: II Peter 2:4 ForG1063 ifG1487 GodG2316 sparedG5339 notG3756 the angelsG32 that sinned,G264 butG235 cast them down to hell,G5020 and deliveredG3860 them into chainsG4577 of darkness,G2217 to be reservedG5083 untoG1519 judgment;G2920   —>   Peter and Jude agreethat there is a second witness brethrenthat Father has these angels in chains, reserved for judgment. Where are they? Jude tells us that they are under darkness and Peter tells us that are in hell; but, lets check out this word hell in our Strongs Concordance, when we do, we find that it is Greek word number: G5020, - ταρταρόω, - tartaroō, - pronounced: tar-tar-o-o, and means: From Τάρταρος Tartaros̄ (the deepest abyss of Hades); to incarcerate in eternal torment: - cast down to hell. Total KJV occurrences: 1.. Notice that Peters use of this particular word, is the only time it is used in all of Fathers Word. And what does this word ταρταρόω, mean? The abyss, the same abyss where satan will be cast for Jesus 1,000 year Millennium as can be read in Revelation 20. Jesus also taught about these angels coming to this Age of flesh when He was teaching Nicodemus about being born from above in John 3. Sadly, because many preachers cannot actually read, they falsely teach what Jesus was teaching Nicodemus and us in this Chapter of John, and they have taught that Jesus was saying we must be baptized in order to go to heaven, but that is not what He was teaching, He was teaching/saying that we must be born of woman and not be like the angels of Genesis 6, who refused to be born of women. You can read my Study on this here. What does II Peter 2:4 and Jude 1:6 say? That these angels sinned by coming to the Flesh Age and taking to themselves wives unto themselves. So, the women profaned, defiled, polluted and prostituted themselves with these angels. But, it wasnt only the women, as the men too profaned, defiled and polluted themselves with these angels. Lets read one more verse here in Genesis 6, lets skip down one verse to: [6:4] There wereH1961 giantsH5303 in the earthH776 in thoseH1992 days;H3117 and alsoH1571 afterH310 that,H3651 whenH834 the sonsH1121 of GodH430 came inH935 untoH413 the daughtersH1323 of men,H120 and they bareH3205 children to them, the sameH1992 became mighty menH1368 whichH834 were of old,H4480 H5769 menH376 of renown.H8034   —>   Have you never heard of the story of David and Goliath? What was Goliath? He was a giant which was the result of these fallen angels mating with flesh women. Now, dont get me wrong here, as Goliath was not from this mating, as Father brought about the flood of Noahs day in order to destroy these hybrid-offspring. However, there was a second influx after the flood, Father knew about it and is part of the reason he sent our forefathers down into Egypt for those few centuries, so that they could grow in numbers and strength and when He brought them out, they could go into the Promised Land and defeat and destroy the giants.

Genesis 15:4 And, behold,H2009 the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 came untoH413 him, saying,H559 “ThisH2088 shall notH3808 be thine heir;H3423 butH3588 H518 he thatH834 shall come forthH3318 out of thine own bowelsH4480 H4578 shall be thine heir.”H3423   —>   Father is guaranteeing Abram that he shall have a son, not just a child, but a son, one to whom he can pass on his heritage and his possessions.

Genesis 15:5 And He brought him forthH3318 (H853) abroad,H2351 and said,H559 “LookH5027 nowH4994 toward heaven,H8064 and tellH5608 the stars,H3556 if thou be ableH3201 to numberH5608 them:” and He saidH559 unto him, “SoH3541 shall thy seedH2233 be.”H1961   —>   Anybody who looks at that tiny Nation of Israel today and thinks that Fathers Promise to Abram has been fulfilled, or thinks that down through the years, the number of offspring descended to Abram who stayed in the middle east fulfills this Promise; misses some major counting of peoples. We read in II Kings 17, that between the years 613-611B.C., Father first sent into captivity to the Assyrians, and then later scattered, the Nation of The House of Israel the ten tribes, not including the House of Judah, which part of is in Israel today. The House of Israel is still scattered to this day 2022, and will not be brought back to be one complete House until Christs 1,000 year Millennium, as can be read in Ezekiel 37. This is all traceable if one cares to look; but, using Peters words, most are willingly ignorant to this fact and dont even care to trace it out, rather, just accepting Israel as both Houses; completely disregarding the two baskets of Figs of Jeremiah 24.

But, in the Promise of this verse, Father guarantees Abram that his offspring will fill all the earth.

…look…=Note Abrams four looks,: (1) Genesis 13:14 (earth); (2) here in Genesis 15:5 (heaven), (3) Genesis 18:2 (Father YHVH), and (4) Genesis 22:13 (a substitute).

                                                                    15:6 Belief.

Genesis 15:6 And he believedH539 in the LORD;H3068 and He countedH2803 it to him for righteousness.H6666   —>   …he believed in the LORD=Abram had Faith in Father to fulfill His Promise. What does Paul tell us in his Epistles to the Hebrews? Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.   —>    This is exactly what Abram has right now, faith, and Father is very pleased and counted it for his good.

Yes, Abram had Strong faith and believed Father. How is your faith brethren? Do you believe these Promises are Biblically accurate and historically factual events which have came, and are coming to pass? If you do not believe this Fathers Word, and think that His Word has not come to pass exactly as written, then you are basically saying, that Father simply doesnt keep his Word, nor can He be trusted. It also means that you then believe the lies of satans children the kenites, and mans traditions.

When we repent and accept Christ Jesus as our Savior, He becomes our shield and in control of our lives; just as He has control over all events concerning Abram and all the Promises, and that my friend, is belief. Abram believed Father would do exactly as He Promised, and this faith in Father was counted to Abram as righteousness. Positive imputed righteousness because Abram believed that The Promised Messiah would come through his seed.

                              15:7 The Covenant Maker. (YHVH)

Genesis 15:7 And He saidH559 untoH413 him, “IH589 am the LORDH3068 ThatH834 broughtH3318 thee out of Ur (flame; or, flame) (oor)H4480 H218 of the Chaldees (neither the Strongs Concordance, nor the Smiths Bible Dictionary provide a meaning of the name Chaldee) (kas-deeי),H3778 to giveH5414 thee(H853) thisH2063 landH776 to inheritH3423 it.”   —>   Father brought Abram out of Ur when his father, Terah, came back out, as we read of in Genesis 11:31, which reads: Genesis 11:31 And TerahH8646 tookH3947 (H853) AbramH87 his son,H1121 and LotH3876 the sonH1121 of HaranH2039 his son’sH1121 son,H1121 and SaraiH8297 his daughter in law,H3618 his sonH1121 Abram’sH87 wife;H802 and they went forthH3318 withH854 them from UrH4480 H218 of the Chaldees,H3778 to goH1980 into the landH776 of Canaan;H3667 and they cameH935 untoH5704 Haran,H2771 and dweltH3427 there.H8033.

…to give thee this land to inherit it=When did Father Promise to give this land unto Abram, and what land is this land? Lets turn back to Genesis 12: Genesis 12:1 Now the LORDH3068 had saidH559 untoH413 Abram,H87 “Get thee outH1980 of thy country,H4480 H776 and from thy kindred,H4480 H4138 and from thy father’s house,H4480 H1004 H1 untoH413 a landH776 thatH834 I will shewH7200 thee:, skip down to verse v12:5: [12:5] And AbramH87 tookH3947 (H853) SaraiH8297 his wife,H802 and LotH3876 his brother’sH251 son,H1121 and allH3605 their substanceH7399 thatH834 they had gathered,H7408 and the soulsH5315 thatH834 they had gottenH6213 in Haran;H2771 and they went forthH3318 to goH1980 into the landH776 of Canaan;H3667 and into the landH776 of CanaanH3667 they came.H935, again, lets skip down a couple of verses, to verse v12:7, where we read: [12:7] And the LORDH3068 appearedH7200 untoH413 Abram,H87 and said,H559Unto thy seedH2233 will I giveH5414 (H853) thisH2063 land:”H776 and thereH8033 buildedH1129 he an altarH4196 unto the LORD,H3068 Who appearedH7200 untoH413 him.   —>   So, as we just read, Father moved Abram and all he had into the land of Canaan, and after doing so, He told Abram, …unto thy seed will I give this land. To see a map of this land, click here. …thy seed=Here is where Father first Promised Abram that He would Bless him with many offspring. Had we read Genesis 12:2, we would have read that Father Promised to make of him …a great nation…, one man, brethren, does not a great nation make, it takes many people to make a nation.
Ur
Ur=The first we read of Ur is in Genesis 11:28,30, where we read that Abrahams father Terah, had another son named Haran, and he diedH4191 beforeH5921 H6440 his fatherH1 TerahH8646 in the landH776 of his nativity,H4138 in UrH218 of the Chaldees.H3778   —>   So, Terah was either living in or passing through Er when his wife gave birth to Abram, Nahor, and Haran. I say all three men because we read in Genesis 11:26, that TerahH8646 livedH2421 seventyH7657 years,H8141 and begatH3205 (H853) Abram,H87 (H853) Nahor,H5152 and Haran.H2039. We also see in the Strongs Concordance, and the Massoretic Texts that the names Abram and Nahor have the Article the or eth preceding them but not then name Haran. This is because, it is from Nahors lineage, that Abrahams Chief servant, Eliezer will find a wife for Abrahams son, Isaac, he will find Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel, the son of Nahor and Milcah. The next we read of Ur is in Genesis 15:7, where we read of Father talking with Abram in a vision, and telling him, that it was He Who brought Abram out of the land of Ur of the Chaldees in order to give him and his descendants the land of CanaanThe Promised Land. The last we read of Ur is in Nehemiah 9, where we read, that after returning from the captivity to the Babylonians and rebuilding Jerusalem, the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers, and then several Levites stood upon a platform and cried with a loud voice: Nehemiah 9:6 Thou,H859 even Thou,H1931 art LORDH3068 alone;H905 ThouH859 hast madeH6213 (H853) heaven,H8064 the heavenH8064 of heavens,H8064 with allH3605 their host,H6635 the earth,H776 and allH3605 things thatH834 are therein,H5921 the seas,H3220 and allH3605 thatH834 is therein, and ThouH859 preservestH2421 (H853) them all;H3605 and the hostH6635 of heavenH8064 worshippethH7812 Thee.   —>   The next verse is why we came here: [9:7] ThouH859 art the LORDH3068 the God,H430 WhoH834 didst chooseH977 Abram,H87 and broughtest him forthH3318 out of UrH4480 H218 of the Chaldees,H3778 and gavestH7760 him the nameH8034 of Abraham;H85. For the etymology of the name Ur, we read the following from Abarim Publications: The name Ur is identical to the common Hebrew verb אור ('or) meaning to be light or to shine: For a meaning of the name Ur, both New Open Bible Study Edition (NOBSE) Study Bible Name List and Brown Driver Briggs (BDB) Theological Dictionary propose Flame. Jones Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names reads Light or Fire.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H218, - אוּר, - 'ûr, - pronounced: oor, and means: The same as H217; Ur, a place in Chaldaea; also an Israelite: - Ur. Total KJV occurrences: 5.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: Was the land of Harans nativity, (Genesis 11:28) the place from which Terah and Abraham started to go into the land of Canaan (Genesis 11:31). It is called in Genesis Ur of the Chaldaeans, while in the Acts St. Stephen places it, by implication, in Mesopotamia (Acts 7:2, Acts 7:4). These are all the indications which Scripture furnishes as to its locality. It has been identified by the most ancient traditions with the city of Orfah in the highlands of Mesopotamia, which unite the table-land of Armenia to the valley of the Euphrates. In later ages it was called Edessa, and was celebrated as the capital of Abgarus or Acbarus who was said to have received the letter and portrait of our Saviour. Two, physical features must have secured Orfah, from the earliest times, as a nucleus for the civilization of those regions. One is a high-crested crag, the natural fortifications of the crested citadel....The other is an abundant spring, issuing in a pool of transparent clearness, and embosomed in a mass of luxuriant verdure, which, amidst the dull brown desert all around, makes and must always have made, this spot an oasis, a paradise, in the Chaldaean wilderness. Round this sacred pool, the beautiful spring Callirrhoe, as it was called by the Greek writers, gather the modern traditions of the patriarch. --Stanley, Jewish Church, part i.p.7. A second tradition, which appears in the Talmud, finds Ur in Warka, 120 miles southeast from Babylon and four east of the Euphrates. It was the Orchoe of the Greeks, and probably the Ereck of Holy Scripture. This place bears the name of Huruk in the native inscriptions, and was in the countries known to the Jews as the land of the Chaldaeans. But in opposition to the most ancient traditions, many modern writers have fixed the site of Ur at a very different position, viz. in the extreme south of Chaldaea, at Mugheir, not very far above-- and probably in the time of Abraham actually upon--the head of the Persian Gulf. Among the ruins which are now seen at the spot are the remains of one of the great temples, of a model similar to that of Babel, dedicated to the moon, to whom the city was sacred. (Porter and Rawlinson favor this last place.).
Chaldees
Chaldees=There is almost more unknown, than what is known of the Chaldees. Lets start with the first reading of the name in Fathers Word, Genesis 11:28, where we read: Genesis 11:28 And HaranH2039 diedH4191 beforeH5921 H6440 his fatherH1 TerahH8646 in the landH776 of his nativity,H4138 in UrH218 of the Chaldees.H3778   —>   Lets check out this name in our Strongs Concordance, when we do, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H3778, - כַּשְׂדִּיi, or כַּשְׂדִּימָה, - kaśdı̂y, or kaśdı̂ymâh, - pronounced: kas-deeי, or kas-deeי-maw, and means: Occasionally shown as the second form with encliticfor the definition of the word enclitic, click here; patronymic from H3777 (only in the plural); a Kasdite, or descendant of Kesed; by implication a Chaldaean (as if so descended); also an astrologer (as if proverbial of that people): - into Chaldea), patronymicallyn, from H3777 (only in the plural); a Kasdite; or descendant of Kesed; by implication a Chaldan (as if so descended); also an astrologer (as if proverbial of that people): - Chaldeans, Chaldees, inhabitants of Chaldea. Total KJV occurrences: 81.. So, we see from the Strongs Concordance, that the name indicates patronymicderived from the name of a father or ancestor, especially by the addition of a suffix or prefix indicating descent; however, to this point in Fathers Word, there is no man named by such a name. It could be possible that the Chaldees, or as they are also called, the Chaldeans, are implied to have descended from Abrahams brother, Nahors son Chesed, and that the name was applied to them and to Ur in retrospect. I say this because, a similar situation occurs in the name Bethel, where Abraham dwelled long before his grandson Jacob will have a dream and see the ladder set up on earth and ascending up to heaven, and the Angels of Father descending and ascending upon it, and then renamed the place from Luz to BethelGenesis 28:12-19. Moreover, in several instances, the name is spelled not as the regular plural form of a name by which a people or ethnic group is called or known, drawn from the name Chesedכשדים, Chesedans, or those of Chesedbut rather as a forced form which accentuates the plurality of an autonomous quality which in turn is derived from Chesed: שדייםChesedeans, of Chesedly ones,II Chronicles 36:17, Ezekiel 23:14. Note also that the name כשדים is sometimes used for the country, rather than the people, as we read in Jeremiah 50:10, and Ezekiel 23:15. We also see from the Strongs, that the Hebrew word number H3778 is used 81 times in the Old Testament, with one of those times, Father sending the Chaldees against JehoiakimII Kings 24:2because of his rebelling against Father, and then again against his son, ZedakiahII Kings 25where we read that the Chaldees came with Nebuchadnezzar and took Jerusalem into captivity. Fathers Prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah both prophesied against the ChaldeesIsaiah 13:19; 23:13; 43:14; 47:1,5, and 48:14,20; Jeremiah 21:4,9; 22:25; 24:5; 25:12; 32:4,5,24,25,28,29,43; 33:5,11; 37:5,8,9,10,11,13,14; 38:2,18,19,23; 39:5,8; 40:9,10; 41:3,18; 43:3; 50:1,8,10,25,35,45; 51:4,24,35,54; and 52:7,8,14,17Ezekiel also prophesied against themEzekiel 1:3; 11:24; 12:13; 16:29; and 23:14,15,16,23Daniel tells us that they considered themselves to be the learned class of Babylon, skilled in interpretations. Hence, when king Nebuchadnezzar wanted his troubled dreams explained, he summoned the Chaldees, i.e., the magicians, the conjurers, and the sorcerers. These Chaldees apparently considered themselves clairvoyant enough to expose the deeper meanings of any nocturnal image; but, were unable to probe the kings head for his actual dream. Nebuchadnezzar, furious, announced that he would have all the wise men of the kingdom executed. Sadly for the Chaldees, they didnt see that coming either. For the etymology of the name Chaldees, we read the following in Abarim Publications: The name כשדים looks like it is a common Hebrew form to denote a people descended from כשד Chesed which is where you will find the etymology: Jones Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names is so opposed to the idea that the Chaldeans could be descended from Chesed (because the Chaldeans are mentioned eleven chapters prior to Chesed, but see the discussion under the name Chaldeans), that he derives the two highly similar names — כשד and כשדים — along two completely different avenues. Chesed, Jones says, comes from an unused and nowhere else mentioned root כשד, which has an equivalent in the cognate Arabic language, where it means to gain. Hence Jones translates the name Chesed with Increase. The name Chaldeans, however, Jones insists, consists of two elements, the first being the common Hebrew particle כ (ke) meaning as if: The second segment, according to Jones, is the noun שד (shed), meaning demon: Hence for a meaning of the name Chaldean, Alfred Jones Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names reads As It Were Demons. Another possibility is that the second segment of the name Chesed comes from any of the above mentioned words for field. The development of mankind seems to go hand in hand with that of Babel. Babels great river the Euphrates is mentioned as early as Genesis 2:4, as it flows through the garden of Eden. Parallel to the calling of Abraham (who came from Ur of the Chaldeans) the tower of Babel is constructed and subsequently torn down. After her glory days under king Solomon, the surviving tribe(s) Judah (and Simeon) is adopted by the Babylonian empire. And finally, it seems that Ecclesia also grows up in Babylon, only to break free from it and leave it in shambles (REVELATION 18:2). The pun is that the word adam (man, human) comes from the word adamah, meaning field. The meaning of the names Chesed and Chaldean seems to be a reminder that any form of the Babylonian phenomenon is not what brings mankind forth: As If It Were A Field.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, I already provided the Strongs information abovescroll up to read itso, Ill not provide it here. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: It appears that the Chaldeans (Kaldai or Kaldi) were in the earliest times merely one out of many Cushite tribes inhabiting the great alluvial plain known afterwards as Chaldea or Babylonia. Their special seat was probably that southern portion of the country which is found to have so late retained the name of Chaldea. In process of time, as the Kaldi grew in power, their name gradually prevailed over those of the other tribes inhabiting the country; and by the era of the Jewish captivity it had begun to be used generally for all the inhabitants of Babylonia. It appears that while, both in Assyria and in later Babylonia, the Shemitic type of speech prevailed for civil purposes, the ancient Cushite dialect was retained, as a learned language for scientific and religious literature. This is no doubt the learning and the tongue to which reference it made in the book of Daniel, (Daniel 1:4) The Chaldeans were really the learned class; they were priests, magicians or astronomers, and in the last of the three capacities they probably effected discoveries of great importance. In later times they seem to have degenerated into mere fortune-tellers..

Genesis 15:8 And he said,H559 “LordH136 GOD,H3069 wherebyH4100 shall I knowH3045 thatH3588 I shall inheritH3423 it?”   —>   Abram wasnt questioning Father, much the same way, many, many centuries in the future, when Gabriel appears to both Mary and then Zacharias, both question, but, Marys questioning isnt from doubt the way Zachariass will be. Brethren, there is nothing wrong with trying to reason something from Father in your mind; if trying to reason something, seek Him and He will provide an answer.

Genesis 15:9 And He saidH559 untoH413 him, “TakeH3947 Me an heiferH5697 of three years old,H8027 and a she goatH5795 of three years old,H8027 and a ramH352 of three years old,H8027 and a turtledove,H8449 and a young pigeon”H1469   —>   …Take Me…=I.e., take for me an offering. Naturally, all these animals, are animals which Father allows to be used in sacrifice to Him. This is what Father is showing Abram here, to make sacrifice to Him. There are some who focus on the age of the animals; three years old; however, the focus on such, and try to compare the age of three years to the length of time of Jesus ministry on earth, three years, is foolishness, rather they should focus on the number 3.

…three…=The number three in Biblical numberics denotes: Spiritual Completeness. Dr. Bullinger, in his Book Number In Scripture, notes the following: In this number we have quite a new set of phenomena. We come to the first geometrical figure. Two straight lines cannot possibly enclose any space, or form a plane figure; neither can two plan surfaces form a solid. Three lines are necessary to form a plan figure; and three dimensions of length, breadth, and height, are necessary to form a solid. Hence three is the symbol of the cube--the simplest form of solid figure. As two is the symbol of the square, or plane contents (x2), so three is the symbol of the cube, or solid contents (x3). Three, therefore, stands for that which is solid, real, substantial, complete, and entire. All things that are specially complete are stamped with this number three. Gods attributes are three: omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence. There are three great divisions completing time--past, present, and future. Three persons, in grammar, express and include all the relationships of mankind. Thought, word, and deed, complete the sum of human capability. Three degrees of comparison complete our knowledge of qualities. The simplest proposition requires three things to complete it; viz., the subject, the predicate, and the copula. Three propositions are necessary to complete the simplest form of argument--the major premiss, the minor, and the conclusion. Three kingdoms embrace our ideas of matter--mineral, vegetable, and animal. When we turn to the Scriptures, this completion becomes Divine, and marks Divine completeness or perfection. Three is the first of four perfect numbers (see p. 23). Three denotes divine perfection; Seven denotes spiritual perfection; Ten denotes ordinal perfection; and Twelve denotes governmental perfection. Hence the number three points us to what is real, essential, perfect, substantial, complete, and Divine. There is nothing real in man or of man. Everything under the sun and apart from God is vanity. Every man at his best estate is altogether vanity (Psalms 139:5,11; 62:9; 144:4; Ecclesiastes 1:2,4; 2:11,17,26; 3:19; 4:4; 11:8; 12:8; Romans 8:20). Three is the number associated with the Godhead, for there are three persons in one God. Three times the Seraphim cry, Holy, Holy, Holy (Isaiah 6:3). The living creatures also in Revelation 4:8. Three times is the blessing given in Numbers 6:23, 24:--The LORD bless thee and keep thee; The LORD make His face shine upon thee; and be gracious unto thee; The LORD lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. Each of these three blessings is two-fold, so that there are two members in each, while the name Yehovah occurs three times. This marks the blessing as Divine in its source. No merit drew it forth; grace was its origin and peace was its result. Ephesians 3:19, The fulness of God. Ephesians 4:13, The fulness of Christ. Colossians 2:9, The fulness of the Godhead. The fulness was manifested visibly in Christ, and is communicated by the Holy Spirit, for it is a fulness of which we receive by His mighty power (John 1:16). The number three, therefore, must be taken as the number of Divine fulness. It signifies and represents the Holy Spirit as taking of the things of Christ and making them real and solid in our experience. It is only by the Spirit that we realize spiritual things. Without Him and His gracious operation, all is surface work: all is what a plane figure is to a solid (John 3:6). He it is who has wrought all our works in us, and by whom alone we can serve or worship (John 4:24). Hence it is that the Holy of Holies, which was the central and highest place of worship, was a cube. THE FIRST OCCURRENCE: of the number is in Genesis 1:13. The third day was the day on which the earth was caused to rise up out of the water, symbolical of that resurrection life which we have in Christ, and in which alone we can worship, or serve, or do any good works. Hence three is a number of RESURRECTION, for it was on the third day that Jesus rose again from the dead. This was Divine in operation, and Divine in its prophetic foreshowing in the person of Jonah (Matthew 12:39,40; Luke 11:29; Jonah 1:17). It was the third day on which Jesus was perfected (Luke 13:32). It was at the third hour He was crucified; and it was for three hours (from the 6th to the 9th) that darkness shrouded the Divine Sufferer and Redeemer. The loud voice at the end of those twice three hours, when, about the ninth hour, He cried, My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me (Matthew 27:46), shows completely that nothing of nature, nothing of the light or intelligence of this world, could give help in that hour of darkness. Does not this show us our impotence in the matter? Does it not prove our incapacity to aid in delivering ourselves from our natural condition? With the light at the ninth hour came the Divine declaration, It is finished. So divinely finished, completed, and perfected, that now there is no such darkness for those who have died with Christ. Light, uninterrupted light, shines upon all who are risen with Him; uninterrupted sunshine--even the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. That three hours darkness, therefore, testifies to our complete ruin, and our complete salvation, and shows that His people are complete in Him. While we are speaking of the Divine perfections of Christ, let us note the many marks and seals of this completeness. The Spirit, the water, and the blood, are the divinely perfect witness to the grace of God on earth (I John 5:7). The three years of His seeking fruit testifies to the completeness of Israels failure (Luke 13:7). His three-fold it is written shows that the Word of God is the perfection of all ministry (Matthew 4). The Divine testimony concerning Him was complete in the threefold voice from Heaven (Matthew 3:17; 17:5; John 12:28). He raised three persons from the dead. The inscriptions on the Cross in three languages show the completeness of His rejection by Man. The perfection of His offices are shown in His being Prophet, Priest, and King, raised up from among His brethren (Deuteronomy 177:15; 18:3-5; and 18:15). The Divine completeness of the Shepherds care (John 6:39), is seen in His revelations as--The Good Shepherd in death, John 10:14. The Great Shepherd in resurrection, Hebrews 13:20. The Chief Shepherd in glory, I Peter 4:5. His three appearings in Hebrews 9 show that His work will not be divinely perfect and complete until He appears again. He hath appeared in the end of the age to put away sin, and to bear the sins of many (Hebrews 9:26,28). Now to appear in the presence of God for us, He has ascended into Heaven (v 24). He shall appear again part from all question of sin for those who look for Him (v 28). ABRAHAMS COVENANT: To go back to the Old Testament history we have Gods Covenant with Abraham stamped with this number of Divine perfection (Genesis 15). It was (like Davids, II Samuel 7) Divinely ordered in all things, and sure. God was ONE, i.e., the one party to it; for Abraham, who would willingly have been the other party, was put to sleep, that the Covenant might be unconditional, and "sure to all his seed. The Divine seal is seen in the choice of three animals, each of three years old (the heifer, the she-goat, and the ram). These, together with the two birds (the dove and the pigeon), made five in all, marking it all as a perfect act of free-grace on the part of a sovereign God..

Genesis 15:10 And he tookH3947 unto him(H853) all these,H428 and dividedH1334 them in the midst,H8432 and laidH5414 eachH376 pieceH1335 one againstH7125 another:H7453 but the birdsH6833 dividedH1334 he not.H3808   —>   …all these…=Three animals and two birds five. Five denotes Grace; and Fathers Covenant with man is unconditional, meaning, this Covenant is made by Father not man. Therefore, this does not take away every if which Father issues in His Word.

…Divided in the midst…=Abram split the three animals in half, but not the birds, those he left whole.

Genesis 15:11 And when the fowlsH5861 came downH3381 uponH5921 the carcases,H6297 AbramH87 drove them away.H5380 (H853)   —>   These sacrifices were to Father, and therefore, became His property. Abram laid them out to be placed upon the altar, where they would have been burnt, and then consumed by Father. Hawks, vultures, or other birds of prey had come down on the sacrifice to devour them, so Abram drove them away.

Our sacrifice to Father today, is the circumcision of our hearts our love to Him, and to His Word. It is also for us to likewise drive away the birds who like to prey upon Fathers Word to distort it, and therefore, falsely preach and or teach it. If you see these vultures moving in to destroy that sacrifice, do you likewise fight to drive them away? Or, do you allow them to feed upon His sheep? When Father opens your eyes to a Truth in His Word and gives you an understanding of part of His Word, do you allow some false prophet, some man of the cloth pushing traditions of men, to discredit the precious seed of understanding given by the Spirit of God. It is high time we protect our sacrifice to Father, for that property must come first in our lives.

We must follow Abrams example, for, because of his Faith and Works, he set a good pattern for our lives.

Genesis 15:12 And when the sunH8121 was going down,H935 a deep sleepH8639 fellH5307 uponH5921 Abram;H87 and, lo,H2009 an horrorH367 of greatH1419 darknessH2825 fellH5307 uponH5921 him.   —>   Dont be frightened or otherwise confused by this phrase, an horror of great darkness. In the Hebrew manuscripts it states, that a deep sleep or trance came upon Abram, and Father did this to show us that Abram had no part in the sleep, or the Covenant process; meaning, The Covenant was by Father YHVH to Abram, and was unconditional. Father YHVH was and is the contracting or issuing party, and as such, it comes from Father YHVH.

Genesis 15:13 And He saidH559 unto Abram,H87 “Know of a suretyH3045 H3045 thatH3588 thy seedH2233 shall beH1961 a strangerH1616 in a landH776 that is notH3808 theirs, (and shall serveH5647 them; and they shall afflictH6031 them) fourH702 hundredH3967 years;H8141   —>   From this verse, we can infer Father is telling Abram of the upcoming captivity of his descendantsthe Israelitesour forefathersin Egypt. The term of captivity appears to be 400 years; however, this may not be the case at all. It is possibleand this Pastor and author of this Study absolutely believes it probablethat the identification of 400 years is more of a loose chronological timeline than an actual specific measure of time. In other words, it may very well be, that Father YHVH is telling Abram that in 400 years time, the captivity will end, instead of telling him they will be slaves for 400 years. In this light, you have to remember that when Jacob and his family moved to Egypt to escape the famine in Canaan, they were not immediately put into bondage as slaves. It was only after enough time had passed to encompass: (1) his descendants travel into Egypt; (2) their multiplication and prosperity in the land of Egypt; (3) there arose up a new pharaoh over Egypt, which knew not Joseph; (4) the pharaohs gradual exertion of control over the Israelites to the point of making them full-fledged slaves, who were put under great affliction; (5) the pharaohs order to kill male children to keep the Israelites from getting more powerful; and (6) that the man Moses would return to Egypt to petition pharaoh to free his people, resulting in the eventual exodus of our forefathers from Egypt. Father YHVHs Word states in Exodus 12:40 that: Now the sojourningH4186 of the childrenH1121 of Israel,H3478 (whoH834 dweltH3427 in Egypt),H4714 was fourH702 hundredH3967 and thirtyH7970 years.H8141, and 12:41 continues: And it came to passH1961 at the endH4480 H7093 of the fourH702 hundredH3967 thirtyH7970 years,H8141 even the selfsameH2088 H6106 dayH3117 it came to pass,H1961 that allH3605 the hostsH6635 of the LORDH3068 went outH3318 from the landH4480 H776 of Egypt.H4714. Dr. Bullinger, in his notes in his Companion Bible concerning these verses, states that: there are two reckonings of the sojourning: one starting from the promise to Abraham stated in Exodus 12:40, and in Galatians 3:14,17=430 years, the other reckoning starting from the recognition of Abrahams seed (Isaac), Genesis 21:12. See Acts 7 and Genesis 15:13 = 400 years. N.B. 450 years to Samuel; 490 to Saul. See App. 50 iii, and vii. 7. This dwelling in Egypt was only 215 years (see App. 50); and is to be distinguished from the sojourning which was another 215 years. Of note, the selfsame day referred to in verse 41, when calculated using the solar calendar, is found to be the same day that Abraham left Ur of the Chaldees..

…thy seed…=Isaac, Jacob, and then all Jacobs descendants.

Stephen gives a wonderful accounting of this incident in Genesis 15 to the counsels in Acts 7.

Sharpen up for me, for the next few verses tells us why Father will send Abrams descendants down to Egypt.

Genesis 15:14 And alsoH1571 (H853) that nation,H1471 whomH834 they shall serve,H5647 will IH595 judge:H1777 and afterwardH310 H3651 shall they come outH3318 with greatH1419 substance.H7399   —>   Father wanted to judge the Egyptians. Why? Because they were serving other gods lower case g. The gods the Egyptians were serving can be seen in the plagues which Father brought upon the them just prior to the exodus insects, animals, water, pestilence, etc., there is also another reason, and well read of it when we come to verse v15:16.

Genesis 15:15 And thouH859 shalt goH935 toH413 thy fathersH1 in peace;H7965 thou shalt be buriedH6912 in a goodH2896 old age.H7872   —>   Father promises Abram a long life, and he fulfills that promise, as Abram lived to be 175 years old, having never served false gods or idols. Abrams forefathers on the other hand, were idolaters as we can read in Joshua 24:2.

Sharpen up for me again, as the next verse is also extremely important as to why Father sent them down to Egypt.

Genesis 15:16 But in the fourthH7243 generationH1755 they shall come hither again:H7725 H2008 forH3588 the iniquityH5771 of the AmoritesH567 is notH3808 yetH5704 H2008 full.”H8003   —>   Father wanted Abrams descendants, Isaacs son Jacobwhom Father later rename IsraelThe Prince that prevails with Godand his childrenthe Israelitesout of this landCanaanThe Promised Landin order for the Amorites to continue what they were doing the iniquity of the Amorites. What was their iniquity, what is it that they were doing? First, lets check out this word iniquity in our Strongs Concordance, when we do, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H5771, - עָוֹןi, or עָווֹן, - ‛âvôn, or ‛âvôn, - pronounced: aw-voneי, or aw-voneי, and means: From H5753; perversity, that is, (moral) evil: - fault, iniquity, mischief, punishment (of iniquity), sin. Total KJV occurrences: 230.. So, we see that the Amorites were committing moral perversity, what was this perversity? They were interacting with, and sadly, more importantly mating with, the fallen angels which had come back after the flood of Noahs time, which we can read of in Genesis 6:1-7. This mating produced hybrid offspring the mighty men or the gibbor in other words, the giants. These giants are the same as Goliath and Og, to name two; but, there were many more. We also read of Goliaths brother who had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot. For more references and reading on these fallen angels and their hybrid offspring, Dr. Bullinger has two superb articles in his Companion Bible Appendices, Appendix: 23, click here The sons of God and 25, click here The nephilim of Genesis 6.

These Amorites were of the Adamic seed-linethey were descendants of CanaanGenesis 10:15 And CanaanH3667 begatH3205 (H853) SidonH6721 his firstborn,H1060 and Heth,H2845 [10:16] And the Jebusite,H2983 and the Amorite,H567 and the Girgasite,H1622the seed-line through which Father Himself would be born as His only begotten Son Emmanuel God with us Jesus Christ. Therefore, He was not about to let this mixing continue for too long, just long enough for Abrams descendants to grow in both, number and strength, so that He could bring them back to this land in order to utterly destroy these people and the hybrid offspringas we read in Deuteronomy 7:2, which reads: Deuteronomy 7:2 And when the LORDH3068 thy GodH430 shall deliverH5414 them beforeH6440 thee; thou shalt smiteH5221 them, and utterly destroyH2763 H2763 them; thou shalt makeH3772 noH3808 covenantH1285 with them, norH3808 shew mercyH2603 unto them:. Sadly, most Christians have no knowledge why Father would tell the Israelites to utterly destroy these people man, woman, and child, but they accept the fact that He said to do so, all the while still claiming He in His Word states thou shalt not kill.

Unlike in I Kings 18, where Elijah built the altar in order that Father could get the peoples attention and make them believe: I Kings 18:30 And ElijahH452 saidH559 unto allH3605 the people,H5971 “Come nearH5066 untoH413 me.” And allH3605 the peopleH5971 came nearH5066 untoH413 him. See, he challenged these priests of baal to show the people Who is God. He did this by having two altars built, one by the baal priests and prophets, and one he would build to Father YHVH: and The God which came down and consumed the Sacrifice by fire that is God. we read in I Kings 18:20-29, that the baal priests and prophets have already had their opportunity to see if baal would come down and consume their sacrifice, they waited all day, going to many lengths and measures to bring baal down to consume their sacrifice: all to no avail, because there is no baal. Dr. Bullinger in his Book Number In Scripture, notes the following: TWELVE is a perfect number, signifying perfection of government, or of governmental perfection. It is found as a multiple in all that has to do with rule. The sun which rules the day, and the moon and stars which govern the night, do so by their passage through the twelve signs of the Zodiac which completes the great circle of the heavens of 360 (12 x 30) degrees or divisions, and thus govern the year. Twelve is the product of 3 (the perfectly Divine and heavenly number) and 4 (the earthly, the number of what is material and organic). While seven is composed of 3 added to 4, twelve is 3 multiplied by 4, and hence denotes that which can scarcely be explained in words, but which the spiritual perception can at once appreciate, viz., organization, the products denoting production and multiplication and increase of all that is contained in the two numbers separately. The 4 is generally prominently seen in the twelve. THERE WERE TWELVE PATRIARCHS from Seth to Noah and his family, and twelve from Shem to Jacob. THE TWELVE SONS OF ISRAEL though actually thirteen in number, there are never more than twelve names in any one list. There are about 18 enumerations altogether, but in each list one or other is omitted. Generally it is Levi, but not always. In Revelation 7 both Dan and Ephraim are omitted, but the enumeration is still twelve, Levi and Joseph being introduced for this special sealing of the remnant which shall go unscathed through the great tribulation. Then there were twelve Judges or Saviors. THE TEMPLE OF SOLOMON has the number twelve as the predominating factor, in contrast with the Tabernacle, which had the number five. This agrees with the grace which shines in the Tabernacle, and with the glory of the kingdom which is displayed in the Temple. When we come to the New Testament we find the same great principle pervading the Apostolic government as we see in the Patriarchal and National, for we have: The twelve Apostles. The twelve foundations in the heavenly Jerusalem. The twelve gates. The twelve pearls. The twelve angels. THE MEASUREMENT OF THE NEW JERUSALEM will be 12,000 furlongs square, while the wall will be 144 (12 x 12) cubits, Revelation 21:16,17. The number of the sealed in Revelation 7:4 will be 144,000, and all that has to do with the Twelve Tribes is necessarily pervaded by this number, such as the stones in the High Priests breastplate, the stones taken out of the Jordan, the number of the spies, etc. etc., and therefore we have not referred to all such reference in these pages. TWELVE PERSONS WERE ANOINTED for government of various kinds. Of course, all kings, priests, prophets, and healed lepers were anointed; but the circumstances of the anointing of twelve individuals is specially recorded. Of these, five were priests (Aaron and his four sons, Exodus 6:23) and seven were kings: Aaron, Exodus 29:7,9, etc. Nadab, Exodus 29:7,9, etc. Abihu, Exodus 29:7,9, etc. Eleazar, Exodus 29:7,9, etc. Ithamar, Exodus 29:7,9, etc. Saul, I Samuel 10:1. David, * I Samuel 16:13. Absalom, II Samuel 19:10. Solomon, I Kings 1:39. Jehu, II Kings 9:6. Joash, II Kings 11:12. Jehoahaz, II Kings 23:30. * David was anointed three times, viz: by Samuel, I Samuel 16:13; by the men of Judah, II Samuel 2:4; by the elders of Israel, II Samuel 5:3. It will be observed from the above list that Saul, the man of mans choice, is thus stamped with the number 6. David, the man of Gods choice is stamped with the number seven. For Saul and David are the sixth and seventh respectively in order. The words, a man after Gods own heart, mean simply a man of Gods choice, and not, as infidels are never tired of asserting, that God approved of all the sins which David fell into. TWELVE YEARS of age was Jesus when He first appears in public (Luke 2:42) and utters His first-recorded words. TWELVE LEGIONS of angels mark the perfection of angelic powers (Matthew 26:53). THE HALF OF TWELVE sometimes denotes interruption or defect in human government, while THE NUMBER OF OCCURRENCES of words agrees with its signification, e.g., aulh, aulee, palace, occurs twelve times.. [18:32] And withH854 the stonesH68 he builtH1129 an altarH4196 in the nameH8034 of the LORD:H3068 and he madeH6213 a trenchH8585 aboutH5439 the altar,H4196 as great as would containH1004 two measuresH5429 of seed.H2233   —>   Elijah not only built and altar, he carved a trench, or moat, around this altar. Lets continue reading and see why: [18:33] And he putH6186 (H853) the woodH6086 in order, and cutH5408 (H853) the bullockH6499 in pieces, and laidH7760 him onH5921 the wood,H6086 and said,H559 “FillH4390 fourH702 barrelsH3537 with water,H4325 and pourH3332 it on the burnt sacrifice,H5930 and onH5921 the wood.”H6086   —>   Elijah carved the moat in order to allow the baal priests and prophets to pour water onto the altar, the wood, the sacrifice, and then that water flowed into the moat. Remember brethren, all the People are standing around watching this whole scene. …Four barrels…=The number Four in Biblical numerics denotes: earth. Dr. Bullinger in his Book Number In Scripture, notes the following: We have seen that three signifies Divine perfection. Now the number four is made up of three and one (3+1=4), and it denotes, therefore, and marks that which follows the revelation of God, namely, His creative works. He is known by the things that are seen. Hence the written revelation commences with the words, In-the-beginning God CREATED. Creation is therefore the next thing—the fourth thing, and the number four always has reference to all that is created. It is emphatically the number of Creation; of man in his relation to the world as created; while six is the number of man in his opposition to and independence of God. It is the number of things that have a beginning, of things that are made, of material things, and matter itself. It is the number of material completeness. Hence it is the world number, and especially the city number. The fourth day saw the material creation finished (for on the fifth and sixth days it was only the furnishing and peopling of the earth with living creatures). The sun, moon, and stars completed the work, and they were to give light upon the earth which had been created, and to rule over the day and over the night (Genesis 1:14-19). Four is the number of the great elements—earth, air, fire, and water. Four are the regions of the earth—north, south, east, and west. Four are the divisions of the day—morning, noon, evening, and midnight. Or in our Lords words, when He speaks of His coming at evening, midnight, cock-crowing, or in the morning (Mark 13:35). We are never to put off His coming in our minds beyond tomorrow morning. Four are the seasons of the year—spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Four are the great variations of the lunar phases. In Genesis 2:10,11, the one river of Paradise was parted, and became into four heads, and the fourth river is Euphrates. Here, as so often elsewhere, the four is made up of 3 + 1. For three of these rivers are now unnamed, while one is still known by its original name Euphrates. Four marks division also. For the river was parted. It is the first number which is not a prime, the first which can be divided. It is the first square number also, and therefore it marks a kind of completeness as well, which we have called material completeness.. [18:34] And he said,H559 “Do it the second time.”H8138 And they did it the second time.H8138 And he said,H559 “Do it the third time.”H8138 And they did it the third time.H8138   —>   Three times they pour four barrels of water onto the altar to Father YHVH; a total of twelve barrels of water, and like the stones, one for each tribe. [18:35] And the waterH4325 ranH1980 round aboutH5439 the altar;H4196 and he filledH4390 (H853) the trenchH8585 alsoH1571 with water.H4325   —>   After pouring twelve barrels of water onto the altar and sacrifice, Elijah now tells them to also fill the trench with water. There is so much water on this altar and in the moat, that even if they had a blowtorch back then, this would not light. Elijah is doing this to prove Who is God and how powerful He is, all by Fathers design to get their attention, so that they will know that I am God, and to stop worshipping false gods. [18:36] And it came to passH1961 at the time of the offeringH5927 of the evening sacrifice,H4503 that ElijahH452 the prophetH5030 came near,H5066 and said,H559 “LORDH3068 GodH430 of Abraham,H85 Isaac,H3327 and of Israel,H3478 let it be knownH3045 this dayH3117 thatH3588 ThouH859 art GodH430 in Israel,H3478 and that IH589 am Thy servant,H5650 and that I have doneH6213 (H853) allH3605 theseH428 thingsH1697 at Thy word.H1697   —>   Elijah followed YHVHS commandment to the letter! He called the People of the ten Tribes, the baal priests and prophets, he told them to build their altar to baal and set the sacrifice out, and he allowed all day long for baal to come and consume their sacrifice to baal all to no avail for them. He now speaks: Now, YHVH, Your altar is built, the stones laid, the wood laid, the sacrifice is set, and as per Your instructions, water has even poured onto the altar and into the moat; Show the People that You are YHVH The Covenant God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; ELOHIM The Creator of all and all things. [18:37] HearH6030 me, O LORD,H3068 hearH3060 me, that thisH2088 PeopleH5971 may knowH3045 thatH3588 ThouH859 art the LORDH3068 God,H430 and that ThouH859 hast turnedH5437 (H853) their heartH3820 back again.”H322   —>   Elijah continues, asking Father: YHVH show these nonbelievers that You and You alone are God, so that, they might return to love and worship You. [18:38] Then the fireH784 of the LORDH3068 fell,H5307 and consumedH398 (H853) the burnt sacrifice,H5930 and the wood,H6086 and the stones,H68 and the dust,H6083 and licked upH3897 the waterH4325 thatH834 was in the trench.H8585   —>   Our Father is a consuming fire! He consumed everything that was about that altar: the wood, the stones, the sacrifice, and even the water and the dust of the ground: all of it gone. [18:39] And when allH3605 the PeopleH5971 sawH7200 it, they fellH5307 onH5921 their faces:H6440 and they said,H559 “The LORD,H3068 heH1931 is the God;H430 the LORD,H3068 heH1931 is the God.”H430   —>   This is what Father wants, and what He desires to hear and see. YHVH He is ELOHIM: His children His creation, worshiping and loving Him.

Genesis 15:18 In the sameH1931 dayH3117 the LORDH3068 madeH3772 a covenantH1285 with Abram,H87 saying,H559 “Unto thy seedH2233 have I givenH5414 thisH2063 (H853) land,H776 from the riverH4480 H5104 of EgyptH4714 untoH5704 the greatH1419 river, the riverH5104 Euphrates:H6578   —>   Father is now going to tell Abram, and us, just who it is who currently inhabits the lands which He will bring Abrams descendants back to, to utterly destroy.

Genesis 15:19 (H853)The Kenites,H7017 and the Kenizzites, (to hunt, hunter; and; hunt, snare) (ken-iz-zeeי)H7074 and the Kadmonites, (ancient, oriental; and; oriental) (kad-mo-neeי)H6935   —>   (H853)The Kenites…=First off, did you notice that the verse starts a Strongs number? This is because in the Hebrew Manuscripts the definite Article is present, in this case it is H853, so, lets look it up: H853, - אֵת, - 'êth, - pronounced: ayth, and means: Apparently contracted from H226 in the demonstrative sense of entity; properly self (but generally used to point out more definitely the object of a verb or preposition, even or namely): - (As such unrepresented in English.) Total KJV occurrences: 7302.. eth is a primary Particle and is an untranslatable markאֵתof the accusative case. Notice also brethren, this Particle is not used before the Kenizzites, nor the kadmonites. As we see by the Strongs numbers within the verse, the Strongs Hebrew word number for the word Kenite, is: H7017, - קֵינִיi, or קִינִי, - qêynı̂y, or qı̂ynı̂y, - pronounced: kay-neeי, or kay-neeי, and means: Patronymicpatronymic means descended from the father, to see Dictionary.coms definition, click herefrom H7014; a Kenite or member of the tribe of Kajin: - Kenite. Total KJV occurrences: 12.. Now lets check out Strongs Hebrew word number H7014, when we do, we find: H7014, - קַיִן, - qayin, - pronounced: kahי-yin, and means: The same as H7013 (with a play upon the affinity to H7069); Kajin, the name of the first child, also of a place in Palestine, and of an Oriental tribe: - Cain, Kenite (-s). Total KJV occurrences: 19.. The kenites are the descendants of Cain, whose father was satan, and mother was Eve: see Genesis 3:13-16. Notice there are 19 usages of this Hebrew word number/name in Fathers Word, and this is the first time this Hebrew word number/name is used. I have written an entire Topical Study on these kenites, and you can read it here.

What does Father say concerning these kenitesthese descendants of Cain, and therefore satan himself? He used Balaam to prophesy against them in Numbers 24where we find the second usage of the Hebrew word number/namewhere we read: Numbers 24:21 And he looked onH7200 (H853) the Kenites,H7017 and took upH5375 his parable,H4912 and said,H559 “StrongH386 is thy dwellingplace,H4186 and thou puttestH7760 thy nestH7064 in a rock.H5553   —>   Notice the lower case "r" in rock. [24:22] NeverthelessH3588 H518 the KeniteH7014 shall beH1961 wasted,H1197 untilH5704 H4100 AsshurH804 shall carry thee away captive.”H7617   —>   Nevertheless the Kenites shall be wasted…=A very powerful statement translated into English; but, it is even more powerful in the Hebrew language. Lets look at this word nevertheless in the Strongs Concordance, when we do, we find that it is made up of two Hebrew words, the first is Hebrew word number: H3588, - כִּי, - kı̂y, - pronounced: kee, and means: A primitive particle (the full form of the prepositional prefix) indicating causal relations of all kinds, antecedent or consequent; (by implication) very widely used as a relative conjugation or adverb; often largely modified by other particles annexed: - and, + (forasmuch, inasmuch, where-) as, assured [-ly], + but, certainly, doubtless, + else, even, + except, for, how, (because, in, so, than) that, + nevertheless, now, rightly, seeing, since, surely, then, therefore, + (al-) though, + till, truly, + until, when, whether, while, who, yea, yet, Total KJV occurrences: 4454.. Now lets look at the second Hebrew word which makes up this word nevertheless, it is Hebrew word number: H518, - אִם, - 'im, - pronounced: eem, and means: A primitive particle; used very widely as demonstrative, lo!; interrogitive, whether?; or conditional, if, although, also Oh that!, when; hence as a negative, not: - (and, can-, doubtless, if, that) (not), + but, either, + except, + more (-over if, than), neither, nevertheless, nor, oh that, or, + save (only, -ing), seeing, since, sith, + surely (no more, none, not), though, + of a truth, + unless, + verily, when, whereas, whether, while, + yet. Total KJV occurrences: 999.. These two Hebrew words combined tell us assuredly, oh! those descendants of Cain, now lets look at the word wasted, it is Hebrew word number: H1197, - בָּעַר, - bâ‛ar, - pronounced: baw-arי, and means: A primitive root; to kindle, that is, consume (by fire or by eating); also (as denominative from H1198) to be (become) brutish: - be brutish, bring (put, take) away, burn, (cause to) eat (up), feed, heat, kindle, set ([on fire]), waste. Total KJV occurrences: 94.. Again I ask brethren, what does Paul teach us in Hebrews 12:29? Hebrews 12:29 ForG1063 (G2532) ourG2257 GodG2316 is a consumingG2654 fire.G4442   —>   Balaam continues: [24:23] And he took upH5375 his parable,H4912 and said,H559Alas,H188 whoH4310 shall liveH2421 when GodH410 doethH4480 H7760 this!   —>  Yeah, when Father utterly destroys a soul, who can withstand it? No one, and that includes at the end, during the Great White Throne Judgment, when Father casts those souls who follow satan into the Lake of Fire.
Kenizzites
The kenizzites=We must be careful brethren, as, if were we to just follow without digging into this name Kenizzite, we cold come to the wrong conclusion. I say this because, Caleb, one of only the two spies who went and checked out the land of Canaan when Father brought our forefathers up out of Egypt, who came back with a True reportthe other being Joshuaand his father Jephunneh, were descendants of a man named Kenaz, who was the patriarch of the Kenizzites. Father is not saying the descendants of Caleb are going to be wasted, especially considering Caleb was only one of the two spies who came back with a true report concerning the Promised Land. With that being said, unless Calebs descendants turned from Honoring, Loving and Worshipping Father, then He could be talking concerning them. For the etymology of the name Kenizzites, we read the following in Abarim Publications: The ethnonym Kenizzite is an adjective that derives from the verb קנז (Kanaz), which doesnt occur in the Hebrew of the Bible but exists in Arabic with the meaning of to hunt or snare: The name Kenizzite means Hunter or Trapper but is a name like Fisherman or Troglodyte or Tanner or Metallurgist or Technician (which was the profession of Jesus and Joseph; τεκτων, tekton). It doesnt describe physical descent but an occupational niche that would ultimately be absorbed into the worldwide market of human trade. Since the Bible is only interested in the evolution of the wisdom tradition (rather than politics or biological descent) the nature of Kenizzite should be understood to relate to wisdom. Just like Jesus taught his disciples to be fishers of men, so should the Kenizzite be understood to be a hunter of men and just like the legendary Nimrod was a mighty hunter before YHVH so were the Kenizzites known for their contribution to the greater world of human interaction and exchange that would ultimately form the crib within which the Word of God could assume human form.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H7074, - קְנִזִּי, - qenizzı̂y, - pronounced: ken-iz-zeeי, and means: Patronymic from H7073, a Kenizzite or descendant of Kenaz: - Kenezite, Kenizzites. Total KJV occurrences: 4.. Now from the Eastons Bible Dictionary, where we read: The name of a tribe referred to in the covenant Godmy note here, they are not mentioned in a good manner by Father, they are mentioned by Him in the fact that He told Abram his descendants would inherit the Kenizzite landmade with Abraham (Genesis 15:19). They are not mentioned among the original inhabitants of Canaan (Exodus 3:8; Joshua 3:10), and probably they inhabited some part of Arabia, in the confines of Syria..
Kadmonites
The kadmonites=The name Kadmonite is mentioned only one time in all of Fathers WordGenesis 15:19and the mention of them by Father is not in a good manner. We read there that Father Promises Abram that his descendants will inherit the Promised Land and the land of the Kenizzites and the Kadmonites. For the etymology of the name Kadmonites, we read the following in Abarim Publications: The name Kadmonite is an ethnonym derived from the adjective קדמני (qadmoni), which means eastern or former in the sense of less sophistication. A nations cultural and social norms are often very complex and rather arbitrary, and a failure to comply with these synthetic norms may make a visitor seem like a native child who also doesnt quite know how to behave. Yet, every society whose norms are based on fashions and an artificial sense of right and wrong will inevitably experience opposition from people who dont like that societys norms. Rather more worthy of concern is that such a society will experience opposition from the very nature whose laws this society chose to ignore and whose monarchy this societys leaders felt free to usurp. Only a mastery of natural law brings societal stability and only a society whose norms derive from natural law can exist without opposition, whether from within or without or from creation or from the Creator. Perhaps Jesus declaration that people should turn and become like children has something to do with the inherent instability of our modern world. If only adherence to natural law supports a stable society, and a love for synthetic norms get in the way of that, only children can guide us out of there. Perhaps the Kadmonites are not some local Bronze Age tribe but rather a specific personality that existed as much back then as now. Perhaps this personality belongs to people whose nature makes it difficult to absorb complex social codes when these codes are not based on something they can observe. That would cause these people to express their feelings more naturally, more honestly even, but that in turn would be regarded by society at large as unmannered or at least immature or childlike. For a meaning of the name Kadmonite(s), New Open Bible Study Edition (NOBSE) Study Bible Name List and Brown Driver Briggs (BDB) Theological Dictionary read Easterners. Jones Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names has Orientals. How Easterners or even Orientals came to be counted among indigenous Levantine tribes is apparently not a question that arouses much apprehension in academics. Its often said that φιλαργυρια (philarguria) or silver-love is the root of all evil, but what is not often emphasized is that our modern governments are its fruit. A few centuries ago our ancestors mustered the courage to do away with central rule and embrace the republic, not realizing that kings and nobles are canine by nature and have the natural ability to sniff out wolves in sheep clothes. The apple-cheeked republicans rightfully believed in mans general goodness, but failed to foresee that if a single wolf can find its way to the top, he will turn the whole of society into a scene from Brokeback Mountain. And thats obviously precisely what happened during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In our modern day and age its laughingly simple to write a governmental program that would allow humanity to self-organize across a very broad pallet of desires and talents and properly self-regulate to everyones hearts content, and the one and only reason why we dont have such a system in place (or even why were not massively experimenting with its concepts to get it going within a generation), is that our governments arent done harvesting us for our labor. It takes some sophisticated tricks of deception to consistently get away with thieving from otherwise intelligent people and the Art of the Steal depends heavily on peoples fidelity to decorum. Here at Abarim Publications we surmise that the Kadmonites were known for living decidedly more primitive than other social groups, perhaps not unlike the modern Neo-Luddites, the Amish in the US or even organic farmers or decentralized, libertarian communities. Modern involuntary Kadmonites might be recognized by traits of autism. Others by willingly rejecting a world thats teetering on the steep slope of a deep ravine.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H3965, - קַדְמֹנִי, - qadmônı̂y, - pronounced: kad-mo-neeי, and means: The same as H6931; ancient, that is, aboriginal; Kadmonite (collectively), the name of a tribe in Palestine: - Kadmonites. Total KJV occurrences: 1.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: Orientals. The, a people named in (Genesis 15:19) only; one of the nations who at that time occupied the land (Canaan) promised to the descendants of Abram. The name is probably a synonym for the Bene-Kedem --the children of the East..

Genesis 15:20 And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,   ->   The Hittites; twenty two times in Father's Word are they mentioned - and Father wanted them destroyed! Did the Israelites destroy them? Sadly no. We read in Joshua 9 that the inhabitants of Gibeon - the Hittites, came to Joshua and the elders of Israel - dressed as thought they had been on a long journey, - clothing, worn and torn, sandals all variegated and held on by threads, old sacks on their donkeys, wine skins rent and bound and their food dry and moldy - all to fool the Israelites so that they would not kill them as they heard the Israelites did to all the other inhabitants of the land.

So after not utterly destroying these hittites, sadly and foolishly the Israelites made them drawers of water and hewers of wood for the altar of Father - all against Father's Will.

The perizzites - just about every time you read of the hittites, you also see the tribe of the perizzites - again, Father wanted them utterly destroyed.

The rephaims - H7497 - râphâ' or râphâh, pronounced - raw-faw', or raw-faw' and means: From H7495 in the sense of invigorating; a giant: - giant, Rapha, Rephaim (-s). See also H1051.Wherever we see (in Father's Word - and there are twenty times that they are mentioned in His Word) the word Giants, we know that it is referring also to these rephaims. H1051 - Bethrapha means - "house of the giants."Deuteronomy 2:11 and Deuteronomy 2:20 give us good knowledgeable information on these rephaims: Deuteronomy 2:11 Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims.   ->   , and Deuteronomy 2:20 (That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;   ->  These emims and zamzummims, again are the giants.

Genesis 15:21 And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites and the Jebusites.   ->   The amorites - lived in Gilead on the east side of the Jordan river, the land that the Reubenites, Gadites, and half the tribe of Manassites received for an inheritance, because they asked for this land for their cattle and flocks. The amorites, like the rephaims were the giants, and we learn in Judges that it will take the Israelites 18 years to defeat the Amorites: Judges 10:8 And that year they vexed and oppressed the children of Israel: eighteen years, all the children of Israel that were on the other side Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead..

The canaanites - let's look at this word canaanite -  H3669 - kena‛anı̂y, pronounced - ken-ah-an-ee' ad means: Patrial from H3667; a Kenaanite or inhabitant of Kenaan; by implication a pedlar (the Cananites standing for their neighbors the Ishmaelites, who conducted mercantile caravans): - Canaanite, merchant, trafficker. - This canaanite is obviously different from the kenite and we can never confuse the two however, they both were\are merchants - even to this day.

The Girgashites - were of the seven nations that Father wanted utterly destroyed.

The jebusites - the jebusties live in jebus which is in Canaan, they were another one of the seven nations Father wanted the Israelites to utterly destroy.

Jebus is the epicenter of everything within Christianity. It is where Solomon built the Temple to Father, in the future to this Chapter in Genesis 15; it is also the land that Father will take to Him as His wife by throwing His skirt over her in Ezekiel 16 and it His most favorite spot in the universe; it is also sadly, the place where He divorces in Jeremiah 3; it is where Christ will be crucified Matthew 27, Mark 15, Luke 23 and John 19; where He will ascend up into heaven Acts 1; and also where He will return to when He returns on The Lord's Day Zechariah 14 and Acts 1 and other places. It is also, where satan will appear when he comes in his role as antichrist claiming to be the christ II Thessalonians 2.
