EXODUS CHAPTER 12

Exodus 12 is a wonderful Chapter in Father’s Word, as it is in this Chapter that the Tenth Plague is carried out upon the Egyptians by Father, and, more importantly, it is in this Chapter that Father will institute His Passover: The Highest Sabbath for the Israelites and we Christians today. The first nine plagues have already been effected upon pharaoh and the Egyptians. Father had hardened pharaoh’s heart to where he would not let the children of Israel leave Egypt as Father told Moses He would do. The reason for this was to fulfill what He told Abraham He was going to do over 400 hundred years ago, back in Genesis 15, which reads: Genesis 15:8 And he (Abram) said^H559, “Lord^H136 GOD^H3069, whereby^H4100 shall I know^H3045 that^H3588 I shall inherit^H3423 it?”   —>   Abram was asking Father about the land Father Promised He was going to give to his children, even though, at this point, Abram didn’t have any children. Did you notice brethren, that the word “Lord” is not in all capital letters? Did you notice, that the word “Lord” as used in this verse, is not the usual Strong’s Concordance, Hebrew word number—Hebrew word number: H3068? As used in this verse, it is Strong’s Concordance, Hebrew word number H136. Let’s look it up in our Strong’s Concordance, when we do, we find: H136, - אֲדֹנָי, - 'ădônây, - pronounced: ad-o-noyי, and means: An emphatic form of H113; the Lord (used as a proper name of God only): - (my) Lord. Total KJV occurrences: 438. You should have also noticed that the word “GOD” as used in this verse is also not the usual Strong’s Concordance Hebrew word number—H430. Here is it H3069, so let’s also check this one out in our Strong’s Concordance, where we find: H3069, - יְהֹוִה, - y^ehôvih, - pronounced: yeh-ho-veeי, and means: A variation of H3068 (used after H136, and pronounced by Jews as H430, in order to prevent the repetition of the same sound, since they elsewhere pronounce H3068 as H136): - God. Total KJV occurrences: 302.. [15:9] And He said^H559 unto^H413 him, “Take^H3947 Me an heifer^H5697 of three years old^H8027, and a she goat^H5795 of three years old^H8027, and a ram^H352 of three years old^H8027, and a turtledove^H8449, and a young pigeon^H1469”   —>   …Take Me…=I.e., take for Me an offering—and all these animals are clean animals which are used in sacrifice to Father. And this is what Father is showing Abram here, to make sacrifice to Him. There are some who focus on the age of the animals — three years old. They focus on such, and then try to compare the age of three years, to the length of time of Jesus’ ministry on earth which was also three years. The number three in Biblical numberics denotes “Spiritual Completeness. From Dr. Bullinger’s Companion Bible Appendix 10, we read the following: “Denotes completeness, as three lines complete a plane figure. Hence, three is significant of Divine perfection and completeness. The third day completes the fundamentals of creation-work. The fourth, fifth, and sixth days are the counterpart and repetition of the first, second, and third, and correspond respectively. (See the structure of Genesis 1, p. 3.) The number, three, includes resurrection also; for on the third day the earth rose up out of the deep, and the fruit rose up out of the earth.” From his Book “Number in Scripture,” we read the following: “Three therefore, stands for that which is solid, real, substantial, complete, and entire. All things that are specially complete are stamped with this number three. God’s attributes are three: omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence.” [15:10] And he took^H3947 unto him^H853 all^H3605 these^H428, and divided^H1334 them in the midst^H8432, and laid^H5414 each^H376 piece^H1335 one against^H7125 another^H7453: but the birds^H6833 divided^H1334 he not^H3808.
—>   …All these…=Three animals and two birds — five, the Biblical number of Grace, and Father’s Covenant with man is unconditional. This does not take away every if which Father issues in His Word. …Divided them in the midst=Abram split them in half, except for the birds, which he left whole. [15:11] And when the fowls^H5861 came down^H3381 upon^H5921 the carcases^H6297, Abram^H87 drove them away^H5380.   —>   These sacrifices were to Father, and therefore, they became His property. Abram laid them out to be placed upon the altar where they would have been burnt and then consumed by Father. …fowls…=Birds of prey, i.e., hawks, vultures, or other birds of prey had come down upon the sacrifice to devour them, so Abram drove all those unclean birds of prey away. Our sacrifice to Father today, is the circumcision of our hearts — our love to Him, and to His Word. It is also for us to likewise drive away the birds—the false pastors and preachers—who like to prey upon Father’s Word to distort it and therefore falsely preach it. If you see these vultures moving in to destroy that sacrifice, do you likewise fight to drive them away, or do you allow them to prey upon His sheep? When Father opens your eyes to a Truth in His Word and gives you an understanding of part of His Word, do you allow some false teacher, some “man of the cloth” pushing traditions of men, to discredit the precious seed of understanding given by Father’s Spirit? It is high time we protect our sacrifice to Father, for that property must come first in our lives. We must follow Abram’s example, for, because of his faith and works, he set a good pattern for our lives. [15:12] And when the sun^H8121 was going down^H935, a deep sleep^H8639 fell^H5307 upon^H5921 Abram^H87; and, lo^H2009, an horror^H367 of great^H1419 darkness^H2825 fell^H5307 upon^H5921 him.   —>   Don’t be frightened or otherwise confused by this phrase “an horror of great darkness.” In the Hebrew manuscripts is states, that a deep sleep or trance came upon Abram, and Father did this to show us that Abram had no part in the sleep or the Covenant process—meaning—The Covenant was by Father YHVH to Abram, and it was unconditional. Father YHVH was, and is the contracting or issuing party, and as such, it comes from Father YHVH. [15:13] And He said^H559 unto Abram^H87, “Know of a surety^H3045 ^H3045 that^H3588 thy seed^H2233 shall be^H1961 a stranger^H1616 in a land^H776 that is not^H3808 theirs, (and shall serve^H5647 them; and they shall afflict^H6031 them) four^H702 hundred^H3967 years^H8141;   —>   At present; it is the year 1,921B.C. and in reality, the four hundred years became four hundred thirty years. This is the second of two callings of Abram; his first occurred twenty-five years earlier; back in Genesis 12. The time began when Father told this to Abram—1,946B.C.—and it continued until our forefather’s departed Egypt during the Exodus of Exodus 12:40—1,491B.C.. Abram’s first calling of Genesis 12 was when Father told Abram to leave the land of Ur of the Chaldees in order to move him and his family into the land of Canaan—Abram was 50 years old during this first calling—and His second calling—the one we’re reading of here in Genesis 15—occurred when Abram was 75 years old and that calling was the beginning of the clock starting of the sojourning, when He told Abram to leave the land of Canaan—1,921B.C.—and go down into Egypt because a famine had engulfed the land. Abram was 75 years old when Father told him to leave Ur: it would be 25 years until Isaac’s birth; and now, 5 to his recognition as the seed, thus equaling 30 years, and then when our forefathers—the Israelites—went down into Egypt because of the famine—1,706B.C.—they were there 215 years bringing to total 430. Thy seed=Isaac and then all Abram’s descendants. In Acts 7, Stephen gives a wonderful accounting of the incident of Genesis 15 to the counsels. Sharpen up for me, for, the upcoming verse tells us why Father will sent Abram’s descendants down to Egypt. [15:14] And also^H1571 ^H853 that nation^H1471, whom^H834 they shall serve^H5647, will I^H595 judge^H1777: and afterward^H310 ^H3651 shall they come out^H3318 with great^H1419 substance^H7399.   —>   Father was—and did—to judge the Egyptians. Why? Because they were serving other, false gods — lower case “g.”

So, now it is time to bring forth and institute His Passover, and to teach it to His Children, so they, can likewise, then pass it down to their children who will partake of it forever.

With that introduction being said, let’s go to Father and ask Him for His Blessings on our Study of His Word: “ Father, I come to You right now and ask that You Oh LORD Lead me and Guide me as I try and teach Your Word, don’t allow me to mis-teach or mis-lead Your Children. We, Father, also come to You as a group who desire to Learn Your Word, to thank You for inviting us to Your table in order that we might be able to partake of and receive Your Spiritual Meat, and Father, as we prepare to dine on the sustenance which sustains our inner man, we ask that You Oh LORD open our ears and eyes, that we might be able to hear and see your Truths, open our hearts and minds and prepare us in order that we may receive Your Truth. We Pray for Your Understanding of Your Word, we seek Your Knowledge in Your Word, and most importantly Father, we Pray for and desire Your Wisdom from Your Word, in Jesus’ Precious name we Pray, thank You Father, Amen.”

Exodus 12:1 And the LORD^H3068 spake^H559 unto^H413 Moses (Drawing out [of the water], that is, rescued; or, “drawn,” i.e. from the water) (mo-shehי)^H4872 and Aaron (a teacher; or, lofty; and, very high) (a-har-oneי)^H175 in the land^H776 of Egypt (land of the copts; and, land of the copts) (mits-rahי-yim)^H4714, saying^H559,   —>   Father is about to command Moses and Aaron to direct the Children of Israel how to prepare for their leaving the land of Egypt and their 215 year bondage to the Egyptians.

The LORD=This Title of Father as used here in this verse, is Father in His Role of יְהֹוָה, YHVH—from Dr. Bullinger’s Companion Bible Appendices: YHVH, YAHVEH, or YEHOVAH—the sacred and personal name of Father. While Elohim is God as the Creator of all things, YEHOVAH is the same God in covenant relation to those whom He has created (compare II Chronicles 18:31). YEHOVAH means the Eternal, the Immutable One, He Who WAS, and IS, and IS TO COME. The Divine definition is given in Genesis 21:33. He is especially, therefore, the God of Israel; and the God of those who are redeemed, and are thus now “in Christ”. We can say “My God,” but not “My YEHOVAH,” for YEHOVAH is “MY God.”.

12:2 The month.

Exodus 12:2 This^H2088 month^H2320 shall be unto you the beginning^H7218 of months^H2320: it^H1931 shall be the first^H7223 month^H2320 of the year^H8141 to you.   —>   As we can see, it is Father YHVH Who is setting the date, the time and the schedule; I mean, after all, He did create all things; so it is His right to do so. It is now the time of the Spring Vernal Equinox—for us today, that is March 21^st—and He is telling Moses and Aaron that the beginning of the Calendar New Year for the Israelites will now be the month of Abib—which in the Egyptian tongue, means green ears—and later was changed to Nisan—changed when our forefathers were captive to the Babylonians, therefore, Nisan is Chaldee, hence Nisan is found only in Nehemiah 2:1 and Ester 3:7.

As I noted above, the first month of the year for our forefathers was the month of Abib. There were many events which occurred in the first month: Father’s Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread is celebrated—Jewish tradition has it that in the month of Abib: Abram was called; Isaac was born; the Talmud further states: “As in Nisan there had been Redemption, so in Nisan there should be Redemption...”—Israel was delivered from Egypt and Father’s Tabernacle was reared-up; John’s preaching began and Jesus’ death also occurred in the month of Abib, and there were also many events which occurred on the first day of the first month: the waters of the flood of Noah’s day were dried up from upon the face of the earth—Genesis 8:13; Israel was delivered from Egypt—Exodus 13:4; Father’s Tabernacle was reared-up—Exodus 40:2; king Hezekiah began the cleansing and Sanctification Father’s Temple—II Chronicles 29:17; Ezra went up from Babylon to Jerusalem—Ezra 7:9; the Priesthood gave up their strange wives—Ezra 10:17; and the offering up of a bullock in Ezekiel’s future Temple—Ezekiel 45:18.

12:3-11 The symbol.

Exodus 12:3 Speak^H1696 ye unto^H413 all^H3605 the congregation^H5712 of Israel (he will rule as YAH; or, the prince that prevails with YAH) (Yis-raw-aleי) (secondary map)^H3478, saying^H559, ‘In the tenth^H6218 day of this^H2088 month^H2320 they shall take^H3947 to them every man^H376 a lamb^H7716, according to the house^H1004 of their fathers^H1, a lamb^H7716 for an house^H1004:   —>   Here in this verse, Father is directing Moses to tell the Children of Israel that on the tenth day of the month, they were to select the lamb which they would use in their sacrifice during His Passover. It was thought that it would take approximately ten people to consume a lamb, so as we’ll see, they had to ensure that there would be no waste.

They were to start preparing their lamb on the tenth day of the month, four days prior to their consumption of it. Why four? In Biblical Numerics, four is the number of the Earth — “Created Works”—we can read the following from Dr. Bullinger’s Companion Bible Appendix 4: “Four. Denotes creative works (3+1), and always has reference to the material creation, as pertaining to the earth, and things “under the sun,” and things terrestrial.,” and from his Book Number In Scripture: “We have seen that three signifies Divine perfection. Now the number four is made up of three and one (3+1=4), and it denotes, therefore, and marks that which follows the revelation of God, namely, His creative works. He is known by the things that are seen. Hence the written revelation commences with the words, “In-the-beginning God CREATED.” Creation is therefore the next thing—the fourth thing, and the number four always has reference to all that is created. It is emphatically the number of Creation, of man in his relation to the world as created; while six is the number of man in his opposition to and independence of God. It is the number of things that have a beginning, of things that are made, of material things, and matter itself. It is the number of material completeness. Hence it is the world number, and especially the “city” number. The fourth day saw the material creation finished (for on the fifth and sixth days it was only the furnishing and peopling of the earth with living creatures). The sun, moon, and stars completed the work, and they were to give light upon the earth which had been created, and to rule over the day and over the night (Genesis 1:14-19). Four is the number of the great elements—earth, air, fire, and water. Four are the regions of the earth—north, south, east, and west. Four are the divisions of the day—morning, noon, evening, and midnight. Or in our Lord’s words, when He speaks of His coming at evening, midnight, cock-crowing, or in the morning (Mark 13:35). We are never to put off His coming in our minds beyond tomorrow morning. Four are the seasons of the year—spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Four are the great variations of the lunar phases.”. On earth, we have the four directions on the compass; the four winds; the four seasons, and so on. This lamb being prepared for the sacrifice then, “four” days prior, is for the sins which are committed during this earth Age, not the one prior—the First Earth Age, when we were created, when we were all with Father before being born into this Age—nor the one to come—the last Age, after Christ’s Millennium, when there will be no more sin.

…tenth…=The number ten in Biblical numberics denotes: Ordinal Perfection. From Dr. Bullinger’s Companion Bible Appendix 4, we read the following: “Ten. Denotes Ordinal perfection. Another new first; after the ninth digit, when numeration commences anew.,” and from his Book Number In Scripture, we read: “It has been already pointed out that ten is one of the perfect numbers, and signifies the perfection of Divine order, commencing, as it does, an altogether new series of numbers. The first decade is the representative of the whole numeral system, and originates the system of calculation called “decimals,” because the whole system of numeration consists of so many tens, of which the first is a type of the whole. Completeness of order, marking the entire round of anything, is, therefore, the ever-present signification of the number ten. It implies that nothing is wanting; that the number and order are perfect, that the whole cycle is complete.,” Dr. Bullinger lists many more things denoted by the number ten—far too many to list here—and if you click in the link—hover your mouse over the words “Number In Scripture” above—you too can read of them.

Exodus 12:4 And if^H518 the household^H1004 be too little^H4591 for the lamb^H4480 ^H1961 ^H4480 ^H7716, let him^H1931 and his neighbor^H7934 next^H7138 unto^H413 his house^H1004 take^H3947 it according to the number^H4373 of the souls^H5315; every man^H376 according to^H6310 his eating^H400 shall make your count^H3699 for^H5921 the lamb^H7716.   —>   If a family didn’t have enough people within that family to completely consume their lamb, then, they were to get with the family next door and share it with them, so that there would be no waste. Why wouldn’t Father YHVH want you to waste any portion of this lamb? Remember, it was and is His Passover, His sacrifice and His Lamb and you don’t ever want to waste any part of the Lamb of God, as, that would be an abomination to Father.

Exodus 12:5 Your lamb^H7716 shall be^H1961 without blemish^H8549, a male^H2145 of the first^H1121 year^H8141: ye shall take it out^H3947 from^H4480 the sheep^H3532, or from^H4480 the goats^H5795:   —>   Notice that their sacrifice could be taken from either the sheep or the goats, but, it had to be a male of the first year—first fruits—and without blemish — we can see the “type” for Christ within this lamb.

How do we partake of the Passover sacrifice today? By the taking of the unleavened broken bread or cracker — Body of Christ, and of the wine — Blood of Christ. All Christians, unless for medical reasons, should partake of the wine and not juice. For further explanation of this, see my study “Wine or Swine.” Speaking of which, there is another abomination man has adopted in which man just has to poke Father right in His eye, and sadden Him terribly! The eating of swine on the High Sabbath. Again, go and read my Study on this very subject.

Exodus 12:6 And ye shall keep^H1961 ^H4931 it up until^H5704 the fourteenth^H702 ^H6240 day^H3117 of the same^H2088 month^H2320: and the whole^H3605 assembly^H6951 of the congregation^H5712 of Israel^H3478 shall kill^H7819 it in^H996 the evening^H6153.   —>   Moses is directing that the Israelites keep their selected lamb until at even time—dusk—on the fourteenth day of the first month, then they shall slay their sacrificial lamb. All members of the family were to be present during the slaying of their sacrifice; it wasn’t to be hid even from the children. Likewise today, we should be explaining to our children the “Who,” “What,” “Why,” and “When” of our Creator’s death in the flesh for our sins.

As for the “who,” — do you know and understand just who it was who crucified Christ on that cross? In Father’s Word—Matthew 27, Mark 15, and John 19—they are called, or labeled, “the Jews.” But, was it really those of the House of Judah — “Jews?” No, it was not. It was they who identified themselves with the House of Judah but were not, BY BIRTH, of the House of Judah, these had mixed themselves in with the people of the House of Judah in order to fulfill their father’s—lower case “f”—plan. We can read of who these peoples were in I Chronicles 2:55, Ezra 8:15-17 and Nehemiah 3, 7, 10 and 11.

The “why” is the reason they wanted to kill Christ. They, like their father — satan—see Matthew 13, Matthew 23, John 8:44, Revelation 2:9 and 3:9—thought that if they killed Christ, then their father satan would disrupt Father’s plan of salvation, and that since Christ would now be dead, satan would also defeat Father’s Word and plan, and, he would then win in his controversy with Father. What they didn’t know, was that it was Father&rsquos plan to come in the flesh in order to die for the sins of all His children, and in satan’s offspring then fulfilling “their father’s” plan they actually fulfilled Father’s plan.

Exodus 12:7 And they shall take^H3947 of^H4480 the blood^H1818, and strike^H5414 it on^H5921 the two^H8147 side posts^H4201 and on^H5921 the upper door post^H4947 of^H5921 the houses^H1004, wherein^H834 they shall eat^H398 it.   —>   After the Israelites had slain their sacrificial lamb, they were to take hyssop and dip it into the blood of the lamb, and then put it on the door post of the house that they were living in, they were then to go into that house and await for the death angel to “passover” their house.

Today we put the blood of the Lamb upon the door posts of our hearts — we have to voluntarily give our hearts to Christ, because He covered our sins with His blood. We partake of the Lamb today by partaking of the Holy Sacraments of the unleavened cracker and the cup when we take Communion.

Today we also take the oil of our people, the “Pure Virgin Olive Oil” and we anoint ourselves and our houses with that oil. We anoint ourselves to help prevent sickness both physically and spiritually, we anoint our homes to help prevent sickness—negativity, evilness and perverseness—from entering into our homes and lives either through the Internet, television or the mail.

Exodus 12:8 And they shall eat^H398 ^H853 the flesh^H1320 in that^H2088 night^H3915, roast^H6748 with fire^H784, and unleavened bread^H4682; and with^H5921 bitter^H4844 herbs they shall eat^H398 it.   —>   Father is always direct, specific, and to the point on how He wants us to do things, and, we are to follow His instructions very closely.

Bitter herbs=This was to remind our forefathers of how bitter their stay in Egypt was, and, how badly they had been treated by people who do not follow Father or His Commandments, Laws, Ordinances or Statutes.

Exodus 12:9 Eat^H398 not^H408 of^H4480 it raw^H4995, nor sodden at all^H1311 ^H1310 with water^H4325, but^H3588 ^H518 roast^H6748 with fire^H784; his head^H7218 with^H5921 his legs^H3767, and with^H5921 the purtenance^H7130 thereof.   —>   Father was directing that their sacrificial lamb was to be eaten, roasted over a fire, not boiled in water, or fried in oil. They were to eat it with unleavened bread—Father was showing them that they wouldn’t have the time that it took for the leaven to rise to make the bread, and leaven is also symbolical of sin—and bitter herbs—the bitter herbs was to remind the children of Israel of the bitter treatment they received at the hands of the Egyptians for the past 400 years.

The were to eat as much of their sacrifice as possible, leaving none to be discarded in the trash, for that would have been an abomination to Father. Whatever they could not eat would then have to be completely burnt in the fire the next morning.

Exodus 12:10 And ye shall let nothing^H3808 of^H4480 it remain^H3498 until^H5704 the morning^H1242; and that which remaineth^H3498 of^H4480 it until^H5704 the morning^H1242 ye shall burn^H8313 with fire^H784.   —>   This portion of the lamb that is left, had to be completely destroyed and consumed in the fire, and as we can read in Hebrews 12:29: Hebrews 12:29 For^G1063 ^G2532 our^G2257 God^G2316 is a consuming^G2654 fire.^G4442. Yes, our loving Father is a consuming fire, and sadly, at the end of Christ’s 1,000 year Millennial reign, that is exactly what He will have to do to some of His children — destroy them in the Lake of Fire as we read of in Revelation 20:7-15, which reads: Revelation 20:7 And^G2532 when^G3752 the^G3588 thousand^G5507 years^G2094 are expired^G5055, Satan^G4567 shall be loosed^G3089 out of^G1537 his^G846 prison^G5438.   —>   Why would Father allow satan to be loosed out of his prison? To again test His children to see who Loves and will follow Him, or who loves satan and will follow him. These Children of Father’s are untested. They had not participated in the first resurrection. We want them tested to ensure they truly love Father so that we don’t have to go through all this non-sense again. Do you want those who are untested in the eternity with you? I don’t think so. Let’s read the next verse. [20:8] And^G2532 shall go out^G1831 to deceive^G4105 the^G3588 nations^G1484 (eth’-nos, pagan, gentile or heathen people in the Greek, Greek word number: G1484) which^G3588 are in^G1722 the^G3588 four^G5064 quarters^G1137 of the^G3588 earth^G1093, Gog^G1136 and^G2532 Magog^G3098, to gather them together^G4863 ^G846 to^G1519 battle^G4171: the^G3588 number^G706 of whom^G3739 is as^G5613 the^G3588 sand^G285 of the^G3588 sea^G2281.   —>   Do you see and understand yet? Father allows satan to be loosed in order to gather those who love satan to himself, so that, they can again come and battle against Father. How many will there be? As this verse says, as numerous as the sand of the sea. You would think that, after a thousand years of teaching without satan’s influence, that there wouldn’t be any, let alone so numerous as the sands of the sea. What a sad thing indeed. But, what a wonderful way to identify them now, so that, they won’t be there with us in the eternity. [20:9] And^G2532 they went up^G305 on^G1909 the^G3588 breadth^G4114 of the^G3588 earth^G1093, and^G2532 compassed the camp of His saints about^G2944 ^G3588 ^G3925 ^G3588 ^G40, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.   —>   Just like in the First Earth Age, and in Exodus 32, there will again be those who stand on the side of Father, and, as we can see in this verse, satan and his followers will encompass them about; however, this angers Father, and what does He do? Just like we read of in Genesis 18 concerning Sodom and Gomorrah, He rains fire and hailstones down upon His enemies and destroys them. What is the “beloved city…”? It is the city of Jerusalem, formerly known Jebus, of which Father spread His skirt upon, and took to marriage in Ezekiel 16. Sadly, because of our forefather’s unfaithfulness, the marriage didn’t last very long, and in Jeremiah 3, Father gave the beloved city a bill of divorcement. But, it is the place where first, satan as antichrist will appear, thus fulfilling Ezekiel 16:2, Daniel 9:11,12 and 27. Revelation 20:10 And^G2532 the^G3588 devil^G1228 that deceived^G4105 them^G846 was cast^G906 into^G1519 the^G3588 lake^G3041 of fire^G4442 and^G2532 brimstone^G2303, where^G3699 the^G3588 beast^G2342 and^G2532 the^G3588 false prophet^G5578 are, and^G2532 shall be tormented^G928 day^G2250 and^G2532 night^G3571 for ever and ever^G1519 ^G165 ^G165.   —>   Here is where satan himself—his spiritual body which Father created when He created each and every one of us— finally meets his demise and his end, it is now that he is finally cast into the lake of fire. Again, what is this lake of fire? And again, we find our answer to this in Hebrews 12:29 and also in Ezekiel 28, which reads: Ezekiel 28:14 Thou^H859 art the anointed^H4473 cherub^H3742 that coverest^H5526; and I have set^H5414 thee so: thou wast^H1961 upon the holy^H6944 mountain^H2022 of God^H430; thou hast walked up and down^H1980 in the midst^H8432 of the stones^H68 of fire^H784.   —>   Satan was right there covering the Ark of Father, right at the altar of Father. Father created him and anointed him, and then, he fell because, he wanted to sit on Father’s Mercy Seat instead of being the protecting cherub, in other words, he stopped loving Father and became in love with himself. [28:15] Thou^H859 wast perfect^H8549 in thy ways^H1870 from the day^H4480 ^H3117 that thou wast created^H1254, till^H5704 inquity^H5766 was found^H4672 in thee.    —>   What iniquity was that? Pride!! Pride and the desire to sit in Father’s place, on Father’s seat, as god. [28:16] By the multitude^H7230 of thy merchandise^H7404 they have filled^H4390 the midst^H8432 of thee with violence^H2555, and thou hast sinned^H2398: therefore I will cast thee as profane^H2490 out of the mountain^H4480 ^H8432 of God^H430: and I will destroy^H6 thee, O covering^H5526 cherub^H3742, from the midst^H4480 ^H8432 of the stones^H68 of fire^H784.   —>   Father doesn’t like it when anybody gets ahead by deceit and deception, and that was and is how satan tricks Father’s Children to follow him. [28:17] Thine heart^H3820 was lifted up^H1361 because of thy beauty^H3308, thou has corrupted^H7843 thy wisdom^H2451 by reason of^H5921 thy brightness^H3314: I will cast^H7993 thee to^H5921 the ground^H776, I will lay^H5414 thee before^H6440 kings^H4428, that they may behold^H7200 thee.   —>   Father created satan the perfect pattern, and satan’s head became swelled because of it. Therefore, what will Father do? In the First Earth Age, Father cast him down, it was called in the Greek, the “katabole.” At the end of This Earth Age, Father will again cast him down; only this time, as we’ll read in the next verse, He will bring forth fire from within him and devour—consume from within—him. [28:18] Thou hast defiled^H2490 thy sanctuaries^H4720 by the multitude^H4480 ^H7230 of thine iniquities^H5771, by the iniquity^H5766 of thy traffick^H7404; therefore I will bring forth^H3318 a fire^H784 from the midst^H4480 ^H8432 of thee, it^H1931 shall devour^H398 thee, and I will bring^H5414 thee to ashes^H665 upon^H5921 the earth^H776 in the sight^H5869 of all^H3605 them that behold^H7200 thee.   —>   This is the part where Father is The Consuming Fire; when He destroys the soul of one of His children, of which we read of in Matthew 10:28. [28:19] All^H3605 they that know^H3045 thee among the people^H5971 shall be astonished^H8074 at^H5921 thee: thou shalt be^H1961 a terror^H1091, and never^H369 shalt thou be any more^H5704 ^H5769.   —>   Satan will never be anymore, because he suffered the second death, just like all those who follow him—after he is let loose a little season—will also suffer the second death, the death of the soul. They will not enter into the eternity, which is after the great white throne judgment, which is coming up in the next verse. Revelation 20:11 And^G2532 I saw^G1492 a great^G3173 white^G3022 throne^G2362, and^G2532 Him that sat^G2521 on^G1909 it^G846, from^G575 Whose^G3739 face^G4383 the^G3588 earth^G1093 and^G2532 the^G3588 heaven^G3772 fled away^G5343; and^G2532 there was found^G2147 no^G3756 place^G5117 for them^G846.   —>   This is the time when the full Godhead appears on this earth. Who are these who “fled away”? They aren’t the literal earth and heaven; no, they are who were man in the flesh before being changed into their spiritual bodies; and also those who had died in the flesh and were already in their spiritual bodies. Revelation 20:12 And^G2532 I saw^G1492 the^G3588 dead^G3498, small^G3398 and^G2532 great^G3173, stand^G2476 before^G1799 God^G2316; and^G2532 the books^G975 were opened^G455: and^G2532 another^G243 book^G975 was opened^G455, which is^G3603 the book of life^G2222: and^G2532 the^G3588 dead^G3498 were judged^G2919 out of^G1537 those things which were written^G1125 in^G1722 the^G3588 books^G975, according^G2596 to their^G848 works^G2041.   —>   Father is at His Seat of Judgment and all the books are opened for Him to examine and Judge His Children out of. The dead, are the spiritually dead angelic beings who did not over come satan—remember, we are on one of the last days of the Millennium and as such, there are no flesh bodies, and the only souls who have perished is the soul of satan—who perished two verses ago—and the souls of the fallen angels who refused to be born of women. The terms “small and the great” are referring to all of Father’s Children. Their status matters not, for every one of us has to stand before His Throne to be Judged. Judgment doesn’t always mean in the negative sense, we are Judged to receive Good\rewards or punishment. Notice also, that this verse says we are Judged “according to our works.” Our works are the only thing we can take with us from this Age of Flesh man. Sadly, most church’s teach, that we are all judged by the “grace” of God and\or our faith. This is incorrect, as only our salvation comes to us by the “Grace of God” and\or our faith. But our works, they follow us, and they make up our linens — our Spiritual clothing, as can be read in Revelation 14:13, which reads: Revelation 14:13 And^G2532 I heard^G191 a voice^G5456 from^G1537 heaven^G3772 saying^G3004 unto me^G3427, “Write^G1125, ‘Blessed^G3107 are the^G3588 dead^G3498 which die^G599 in^G1772 the Lord^G2962 from henceforth^G534: Yea^G3483, saith^G3004 the^G3588 Spirit^G4151, that^G2443 they may rest^G373 from^G1537 their^G848 labours^G2873; and^G1161 their^G848 works^G2041 do follow^G190 ^G3326 them^G846.’x”, and also Revelation 19:8, which reads: Revelation 19:8 And^G2532 to her^G846 was granted^G1325 that^G2443 she should be arrayed^G4016 in fine linen^G1039, clean^G2513 and^G2532 white^G2986: for^G1063 the^G3588 fine linen^G1039 is^G2076 the^G3588 righteousness^G1345 of saints^G40.   —>   Why are we judged by our works and not “the grace of God” or our faith? Because, there are those, Father’s Elect, who were Judged at the end of the First Earth Age, while they were in their spiritual bodies, as can be read in Revelation 13:8, which reads: Revelation 13:8 And^G2532 all^G3956 that dwell^G2730 upon^G1909 the^G3588 earth^G1093 shall worship^G4352 him^G846, whose^G3739 names^G3686 are not^G3756 written^G1125 in^G1772 the^G3588 book^G976 of life^G2222 of the^G3588 Lamb^G721 slain^G4969 from^G575 the foundation^G2602 of the world^G2889., and it would be unfair of Father to Judge the rest of His Children while they were or are in their flesh bodies, and therefore, they will only be Judged while they also are in their spiritual bodies. And since they are going to be Judged in their spiritual bodies, therefore it stands to reason, that as such, they “see” Jesus in the Millennial Age, and therefore, they are Judged by their works and no longer by faith. Revelation 20:13 And^G2532 the^G3588 sea^G2281 gave up^G1325 the^G3588 dead^G3498 which were in^G1722 it^G846; and^G2532 death^G2288 and^G2532 hell^G86 delivered up^G1325 the^G3588 dead^G3498 which were in^G1722 them^G846: and^G2532 they were judged^G2919 every man^G1538 according^G2596 to their^G848 works^G2041.   —>   Again, it is by our works and not our faith that we are Judged. Who are these “dead?” Don’t forget where we are “on The Lord’s Day — Jesus’ one thousand year reign — the Millennium;” so, these dead are the spiritually dead, not physically dead. These are those who did not accept Christ while they were in the flesh, or they were on the wrong side of the gulf. Revelation 20:14 And^G2532 death^G2288 and^G2532 hell^G86 were cast^G906 into^G1519 the^G3588 lake^G3041 of fire^G4442. This^G3778 is^G2076 the^G3588 second^G1208 death^G2288.   —>   The second death is the turning to ashes, the soul of an angelic being from within. They won’t be burning forever and ever, they are immediately consumed from within. Remember, these are Father’s children and He is a merciful Father, He neither desires nor wants to destroy any of His children; but, because of what they did—i.e., their own actions—He will. After all those who will be destroyed at the Great White Throne Judgment are destroyed, there will never again be any death; no thought of death, nor any sadness. Revelation 20:15 And^G2532 whosoever^G1536 was not^G3756 found^G2147 written^G1125 in^G1722 the^G3588 book^G976 of life^G2222 was cast^G906 into^G1519 the^G3588 lake^G3041 of fire^G4442.   —>   This is Finality for them, and after this, we will remember them no more. For the rest of us, we now are changed into our incorruptible bodies which Paul wrote about in I Corinthians 15, which reads: I Corinthians 15:54 So^G1161 when^G3752 this^G5124 corruptible^G5349 shall have put on^G1746 incorruption^G861, and^G2532 this^G5124 mortal^G2349 shall have put on^G1746 immortality^G110, then^G5119 shall be brought to pass^G1096 the^G3588 saying^G3056 that is written^G1125, “Death^G2288 is swallowed up^G2666 in^G1519 victory^G3534.”   —>   When the souls of all those that are to be consumed, are consumed, their existence will be blotted from our minds, and all that remains is victory and happiness. [15:55] “O death^G2288, where^G4226 is thy^G4675 sting?^G2759 O grave^G86, where^G4226 is thy^G4675 victory^G3534?”   —>   All souls which remain alive at the second resurrection will be able to say this saying, for they will be immortal and will live for all eternity. [15:56] ^G1161The^G3588 sting^G2759 of death^G2288 is sin^G266; and^G1161 the^G3588 strength^G1411 of sin^G266 is the^G3588 law^G3551. Exodus 12:11 And thus^H3602 shall ye eat^H398 it; with your loins^H4975 girded^H2296, your shoes^H5275 on your feet^H7272, and your staff^H4731 in your hand^H3027; and ye shall eat^H398 it in haste^H2649: it^H1931 is the LORD’S^H3068 passover^H6453.   —>   They were to be prepared, having everything completed and their clothes on their backs for the leaving of their bondage to the Egyptians and the land of Egypt.

These were the instructions that Father gave to Moses and Aaron to give to the Israelites about following Father’s commandments\instructions concerning their slaying and eating of His Passover. Did you notice that there’ll be no hunting of eggs, no bunnies—an unclean animal Father will direct not to eat—and no orgies; all symbolic of fertility and the celebrating of the goddess ishtar, involved in this — His Passover. We Christians do not celebrate “easter.” Do you realize that word is only mentioned once in Father’s Word, in Acts 12:4; and even there, it was\is a mis-translation, for, though in the KJV it is translated that word, in the manuscripts it is PASSOVER, and, if you were to research, the other word, the one in the KJV, you will find it even in the Strong’s Concordance, Greek word number G3957, - πάσχα, - pascha, - pronounced: pas’-khah, and means: Of Chaldee origin (compare [H6453]); the Passover (the meal, the day, the festival or the special sacrifices connected with it): - Easter, Passover. Total KJV occurrences: 29.. Notice the Greek word is used 29 times in the New Testament; however, only one time is it translated out “easter,” every other time in the New Testament it is translated out to Passover. Though the Greek word is of Chaldee origin, it still goes back to Hebrew; so, now let’s look in the Strong’s Concordance, at Hebrew word number H6453, when we do, we find: H6453, - פּסח, - pesach, - pronounced: pehי-sakh, and means: From H6452; a pretermission, that is, exemption; used only technically of the Jewish Passover (the festival or the victim): - passover (offering). Total KJV occurrences: 49.. The other word is derived from the pagan celebration of ishtar, the fertility goddess held every spring, to give thanks to “the gods” of fertility. How did they celebrate this abominable ugliness? they did so by hunting of rolling eggs, and giving rabbits, and dressing in colorful spring clothing. So, what did they do after celebrating the goddess of ishtar? The sacrificed their children by throwing them into the fire: think abortion today. Go ahead, do some research on it.

…passover…=This Passover is one of the ten recorded Passovers in Father’s Word: Exodus 12:11,21,27; Numbers 9:5; Joshua 5:10; II Chronicles 30:13-15; II Kings 22:22—which is connected with II Chronicles 35:1; Ezra 6:19; Matthew 26:17; Luke 2:41; John 2:13; and 6:4.

12:12 Signification and symbol.

Exodus 12:12 For I will pass through^H5674 the land^H776 of Egypt^H4714 this^H2088 night^H3915, and will smite^H5221 all^H3605 the firstborn^H1060 in the land^H776 of Egypt^H4714, both man^H4480 ^H120 and beast^H929; and against all^H3605 the gods^H430 of Egypt^H4714 I will execute^H6213 judgment^H8201: I^H589 am the LORD^H3068.   —>   This is the whole reason Father told Abram way back in Genesis 15 that He was going to send Abram’s children down here to Egypt, in order to execute judgment upon them for their worshipping false gods. Remember also, all one has to do is turn from following and worshipping a false god, and then your judgment is rewards, not punishment. Father cannot be any more loving than that; love and worship Him, and it will be well with you; love and worship false gods — self, money, material things, etc., and it will not be well for you.

12:13 Signification and symbol.

Exodus 12:13 And the blood^H1818 shall be^H1961 to you for a token^H226 upon^H5921 the houses^H1004 where^H834 ye^H853 are: and when I see^H7200 ^H853 the blood^H1818, I will pass^H6452 over^H5921 you, and the plague^H5063 shall not^H3808 be^H1961 upon you to destroy^H4889 you, when I smite^H5221 the land^H776 of Egypt^H4714.   —>   The blood shall be to you for a token=For man in the flesh in this Age, Father requires we “walk by Faith, and, not by sight;” however, by our forefathers complying, Father saw their faith. The blood was a token for YHVH. Faith in the fact that it had been sprinkled, gave peace to all within. It was—and is—not the act of faith which secured, but, the truth that was believed. If no blood, belief that it was there gave no security. If blood there, doubt as to the fact would destroy peace, but, could not destroy the security, because that was grounded on YHVH’S Word, and faith consists in “hearing” that.

…when I see the blood…=Not when you “feel,” or, even believe. So the scarlet cord of Joshua 2:18-19 was for Joshua to see, not for those within Rahab’s house. Feelings are useless apart from faith.

…I will pass over…=This is where, and, how, Father names His PASSOVER, His Holy Day; because, when the blood of the lamb was seen on the door posts of our forefathers houses—and even Egyptians who complied—then His death angel PASSED OVER their houses, and everybody who was covered by the “Blood of the Lamb” was saved.

Today, we too need to be covered by the Blood of the Lamb; only, we place the symbolical blood over our hearts, but also, by the taking of the Holy Sacraments of Communion, we do indeed partake of the Blood of the Lamb, each time we partake in Communion.

12:14-17 The symbol.

Exodus 12:14 And this^H2088 day^H3117 shall be^H1961 unto you for a memorial^H2146; and ye shall keep^H2287 it a feast^H2282 to the LORD throughout your generations^H1755; ye shall keep it a feast^H2287 by an ordinance^H2708 for ever^H5769. —> Our forefathers were never to forget this day, and that it was Father Who led them out of their bondage to the Egyptians, and we today, likewise are never to forget that it was Jesus’ Sacrifice which removed the bondage of sin from us, thus making this day — The PASSOVER, the High Sabbath Day of Christianity. We are never to forget this day, and we are to celebrate it year-after-year forever.

No, today we don’t select a lamb and slaughter it on the 10^th day of the month, as, that would be sacrilegious and a abomination to Father, as, He already paid the price for one and all times by offering up His body as His sacrifice.

We are to put sin away from us. Yes, we partake of the unleavened cracker when we partake of Communion; but, today, we partake of Christ every day, and we repent of our sins every day: thereby putting our sin away from us.

…leaven…=This is the first occurrence of this word in Father’s Word, and, it significantly marks it as something to be “put away” from us. There is no dispute as to the meaning of the word itself, which is sour or fermenting dough. The difference though, lies in its interpretation. (1) This can be gathered only from its usage by the Holy Spirit: It is used of its work in permeating the whole of that with which it is mixed—Hosea 7:4; Matthew 13:33; Luke 13:21; I Corinthians 5:6; and Galatians 5:9; (2) it is used of the bread which is made from the meal so permeated—Exodus 12:15,19,20,34,39; and 13:7 (3) it is used in connection with sacrifices, as never to be offered to God with any offering made by fire—Leviticus 2:11; 6:17; and 10:12; (4) it is used by Metaphor for doctrine—Matthew 16:12; Mark 8:15; and Galatians 5:9; (5) it is used of the effects of evildoers—I Corinthians 5:6-8; and 15:33; (6) in Leviticus 23:17 it is used in that which symbolizes mankind, and in a proper sense of being corrupted. The sin-offering associated with the leaven in the two wave-loaves corresponds with this; (7) and in Amos 4:4,5 it is either the language or Figure of Irony; or, it shows that the “thanksgiving with leaven” is symbolical of the sin which is ever present even in the worshippers of God — Thus, in every instance, it is associated with, and symbolical of, only that which is evil.

People argue which day is the sabbath: Saturday or Sunday? Well, today, we no longer set aside just one day, as every day single day should be set aside for Father and Son. Every day we should be walking with Them; talking, loving and Worshipping Them and Studying the Letter Father gave to us in order to learn more about Him and His plan. Yes, from the day Father led our forefathers out of Egypt, to the day of Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross, our forefathers had to keep this day, wherein, only the Priests were allowed to work. What was their work? Bringing forth Father’s Word to the People. The families themselves were not allowed to work, i.e., they were not allowed to do “make money employment.” They were allowed to feed the herds, the cattle, and themselves; but, no employment. Why? Because, as I said, the Priests were to bring forth Father’s Word, and everybody was to gather together at one time to hear it. This is what Father demanded on His Feast Days, three times a year they were to all gather as a whole and hear the Word of Father: The Law.

So, we are to get the sin out of our lives, and it is a sin to worship any man-made pagan celebrations, especially on Father’s High Sabbath. Let’s go and look at what Jesus said, let’s turn to Matthew 15: Matthew 15:1 Then^G5119 came^G4334 to Jesus^G2424 scribes^G1122 and^G2532 Pharisees^G5330, which^G3588 were of^G575 Jerusalem^G2414, saying^G3004,   —>   Uh oh, here come “the boys from downtown,” and they’re again, about to—like their father satan—attempt to tempt The Living Word—The LOGOS, specifically (with the article in John) the Divine Expression (that is, Christ)—Emmanuel, God in the flesh, God with us—as though that can be done. Did you notice the phrase: “which were of Jerusalem?” This means they were not of the House of Judah, nor were they Levites—to learn more about these scribes and Pharisees, you can read my Topical Study, click here—yet, they sit in the seat of Moses and Aaron, meaning, they were usurpers, running both the Law and the Priesthood, where they had absolutely no business being, and Jesus knew this. [15:2] “Why^G1302 do Thy^G4675 disciples^G3101 transgress^G3845 the^G3588 tradition^G3862 of the^G3588 elders^G4245? for^G1063 they wash^G3538 not^G3756 their^G848 hands^G5495 when^G3752 they eat^G2068 bread^G740.”   —>   The scribes and Pharisees are asking Jesus why He was not teaching His disciples the traditions of man? Can you think of any other traditions of man? How about the very one we’re discussing in this Chapter of Exodus 12, or, maybe, ash-wednesday, lent, good Friday, the rapture doctrine, the speaking a babylonian tongue, snake handling, or the drinking of poisons—all traditions of man and not Biblical, Leviticus 23 breaks-down, chronicles and details the Three Feasts of Father: 23:5-8 Passover, 23:9-14 Feast of Unleavened Bread, 23:15-21 Pentecost, 23:23-25 Trumpets, 23:26-32 Atonement, and 23:33-36 Tabernacles? Let’s listen to how our Lord handles the pharisees and sadducees—and those today who practice and celebrate these things: [15:3] But^G1161 He^G3588 answered^G611 and said^G2036 unto them^G846, “Why^G1302 do ye^G5210 also^G5235 transgress^G3845 the^G3588 commandment^G1785 of God^G2316 by^G1223 your^G5216 tradition^G3862?”   —>   Man-made traditions and holidays which purport to celebrate the things of our Father, when He didn’t sanction them, only transgress Father’s Commandments, Laws, Ordinances and Statutes, and offend Him and are an abomination to Him. Let’s skip down a few verses and read what Jesus says: [15:6] And^G2532 honour^G5091 not^G3364 his^G848 father^G3962 or^G2228 his^G848 mother^G3384, he shall be free.’ Thus^G2532 have ye made the commandment of God of none effect^G208 ^G3588 ^G1785 ^G2316 by^G1223 your^G5216 tradition^G3862.   —>   Jesus continues, what else does He say to them and us? [15:7] Ye hypocrites^G5273 (in the Greek tongue, this means play actors, are you one?), well^G2573 did Esaias^G2268 prophesy^G4395 of^G4012 you, saying^G3004, [15:8] ‘This^G3778 people^G2992 draweth nigh^G1448 unto me^G3427 with their^G848 mouth^G4750, and^G2532 honoureth^G5091 Me^G3165 with their lips^G5491; but^G1161 their^G846 heart^G2588 is^G568 far^G4206 from^G575 Me^G1700.”   —>   Though you may think you are doing something holy by celebrating “easter” or any of the other man-made traditions; in reality, they only serve to draw us away from Father. Sadly, there are many who walk through a church’s doors today, if they like what they see, they’ll stay, if they don’t, they don’t return. The most important issue any body should hear or observe, is whether Father’s Word is being taught Verse–by–Verse, Chapter–by–Chapter, and Book–by–Book, not man’s traditions. When a person is called to teach Father’s Word, it is Father Who is supposed to be the One Who calls them — not a group of men within the church. The Selection Board had better be very careful in their selection process, and ensure that the one they are selecting is truly called by Father, and does not have some other motive within their own mind, there is a big difference. Be careful of those who like to “play church.” One of my favorite Biblical Scholars, Dr. E.W. Bullinger makes one of his quotes—a favorite of mine—“Religion is not a gradual evolution to what is higher, but a declension to what is lower” — and that is exactly what happens when we don’t teach Verse–by–Verse, Chapter–by–Chapter, and Book–by–Book. [15:9] But^G1161 in vain^G3155 they do worship^G4576 Me^G3165, teaching^G1321 for doctrines^G1319 the commandments^G1778 of men^G444.’i”   —>   What did Jesus just say? They teach for doctrine the commandments of man. Brethren, it’s awful late in the game, meaning, we’re drawing close to the end of this Age, and it’s time to put away the traditions of man and stick with Truth in Father’s Word! In other words, if Father didn’t tell us to celebrate it, don’t.

Let’s go now and listen to Paul tell of this, let’s turn to I Corinthians 10: I Corinthians 10:20 But^G235 I say, that^G3754 the things which^G3739 the^G3885 Gentiles^G1484 sacrifice^G2380, they sacrifice^G2380 to devils^G1140, and^G1161 not^G3756 to God^G2316: and^G1161 I would^G2309 not^G3756 that ye^G5209 should have^G1096 fellowship^G2844 with devils^G1140. [10:21] Ye cannot^G1410 ^G3756 drink^G4095 the cup^G4221 of the LORD^G2962, and^G2532 the cup^G4221 of devils^G1140: ye cannot^G1410 ^G3756 be partakers^G3348 of the LORD’S^G2962 table^G5132, and^G2532 of the table^G5132 of devils^G1140.   —>   Paul is telling us, that the two just do not mix. Let’s turn to The First Epistle of Timothy and listen in one more time: I Timothy 4:1 Now^G1161 the^G3588 Spirit^G4151 speaketh^G3004 expressly^G4490, that^G3754 in^G1722 the latter^G5306 times^G2540 some^G5100 shall depart^G868 from the^G3588 faith^G4102, giving heed^G4337 to seducing^G4108 spirits^G4151, and^G2532 doctrines^G1319 of devils^G1140; —> Stay away from these seducing spirits, for they come from satan himself.

12:18 The month.

Exodus 12:18 In the first^H7223 month, on the fourteenth^H702 ^H6240 day^H3117 of the month^H2320 at even^H6153, ye shall eat^H398 unleavened bread^H4682, until^H5704 the one^H259 and twentieth^H6242 day^H3117 of the month^H2320 at even^H6153.   —>   …The first month…=It was and is, Father, Who established when the year began, and, He said it begins on the Spring Vernal Equinox. Think of that for a moment. Father is not the author of confusion, and, to start the year on any other day, would mean that the day changes every year—much like “easter” does every year—and there would be no set day; however, with the day set, then the day of Passover is the same every year: no confusion — like there is with that pagan celebration.

So, we are to count 14 days from the Spring Vernal Equinox, and at sunset begins the next day. So, at sunset on the 14^th day begins the day of Passover. It is the same day year-after-year, never changing. It cannot get any more simpler than that.

Exodus 12:19 Seven^H7651 days^H3117 shall there be no^H3808 leaven^H7603 found^H4672 in your houses:^H1004 for^H3588 whosoever^H3605 eateth^H398 that which is leavened,^H2557 even that^H1931 soul^H5315 shall be cut off^H3772 from the congregation^H4480 ^H5712 of Israel^H3478, whether he be a stranger,^H1616 or born^H249 in the land.^H776   —>   Then they had to comply with the physical bread, and it had to be unleavened; today, we comply by putting sin out of our lives for the seven days. Of course, nobody can completely comply with this, as, we all fall short of the Glory of our Father, and He knows this. So, we go to him at night and repent and ask for His forgiveness, and therefore, we have complied.

What are some of the things we can do though to try and comply? How about putting away false Teachings and traditions of man? What about turning off the TV or computer, or, at least, programs which are not wholesome or do not bring glory to Father? Those are things we can do to get the leaven out of our lives for this seven day period.

Father knows that there is a True Lamb, and, He warned us in Revelation 13:11 that there is another lamb: Revelation 13:11 And^G2532 I beheld^G1492 another^G243 beast^G2342 coming up^G305 out of^G1537 the^G3588 earth;^G1093 and^G2532 he had^G2192 two^G1417 horns^G2768 like^G3664 a lamb,^G721 and^G2532 he spake^G2980 as^G5613 a dragon.^G1404   —>   The pretend-to-be-jesus—satan in his role of the anti-christ—comes before the True Lamb of God—our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God—have you been taught this? By that time, Father’s death Angel would have passed over their house, and they would then be safe to go outside.

12:23 The signification.

Before we go any further, let’s again look at some of the reasons why Father YHVH was going to do this. Let’s again look back at Genesis 15:13-14: Genesis 15:13 And He said^H559 unto Abram,^H87 “Know of a surety^H3045 ^H3045 that^H3588 thy seed^H2233 shall be^H1961 a stranger^H1616 in a land^H776 that is not^H3808 theirs, (and shall serve^H5647 them; and they shall afflict^H6031 them) four^H702 hundred^H3967 years;^H8141 [15:14] And also^H1571 ^H853 that nation,^H1471 whom^H834 they shall serve,^H5647 will I^H595 judge:^H1777 and afterward^H310 ^H3651 shall they come out^H3318 with great^H1419 substance.^H7399   —>   OK, let’s see why else,, He already told us earlier in this chapter, in verse Exodus 12:12 above: Exodus 12:12 For I will pass through^H5674 the land^H776 of Egypt^H4714 this^H2088 night,^H3915 and will smite^H5221 all^H3605 the firstborn^H1060 in the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 both man^H4480 ^H120 and beast;^H929 and against all^H3605 the gods^H430 of Egypt^H4714 will I execute^H6213 judgment:^H8201 I^H589 am the LORD.^H3068   —>   Father was showing all the world that He judges all other false gods, and let’s look one more place, Exodus 14, where we read: Exodus 14:4 And I will harden^H2388 ^H853 Pharaoh’s^H6547 heart,^H3820 that he shall follow^H7291 after^H310 them; and I will be honoured^H3513 upon Pharaoh,^H5647 and upon all^H3605 his host;^H2428 that the Egyptians^H4714 may know^H3045 that^H3588 I^H589 am the LORD.^H3068 And they did^H6213 so.^H3651   —>   So, Father was executing His judgment on the Egyptians and their gods so that the Egyptians and all the world would know that He and He alone is God. So then, all the Israelites were to put this blood of the lamb upon their door posts, and He would passover them and keep them in safety and any that would come under the blood of the lamb, even any of the Egyptians.

Exodus 12:24 And ye shall observe^H8104 ^H853 this^H2088 thing^H1697 for an ordinance^H2706 to thee and thy sons^H1121 forever.^H5704 ^H5769   —>   Our forefathers, and us living even to this day, were to continue to observe His Passover throughout all their generations—offspring, posterity, and\or ages of time. Father’s Passover IS the High Sabbath of all Christianity, and to belittle it and demean it by following after heathen customs and practices, is an abomination to our Father. Which would you rather do, please man by following him, or please our Loving Father by listening to what He is teaching us? Let’s see what Jesus taught us in the New Testament, in Matthew 26: Matthew 26:17 Now^G1161 the^G3588 first^G4413 day of the^G3588 feast of unleavened bread^G106 the^G3588 disciples^G3101 came^G4334 to Jesus,^G2424 saying^G3004 unto Him,^G846 “Where^G4226 wilt^G2309 Thou that we prepare^G2090 for Thee^G4671 to eat^G5315 the^G3588 passover?”^G3957   —>   Jesus’ pupils knew that they were to observe and keep the Passover, and they knew also that Jesus observed the Passover, and so they asked Him where He would like to celebrate it. The disciples didn’t find this unusual, nor did they question Jesus, they did as they were told. We too should be so obedient.

12:25-28 The signification.

Exodus 12:25 And it shall come to pass,^H1961 when^H3588 ye be come^H935 to^H413 the land^H776 which^H834 the LORD will give you,^H3068 according as^H834 He hath promised,^H1696 that ye shall keep^H8104 ^H853 this^H2063 service.^H5656   —>   No matter what land they were in, or where Father YHVH moved them, they were to observe and keep His Passover every year. Think of this, Father had them perform His Passover in Egypt, while wandering in the Wilderness for those thirty-eight years, when they entered in to the Promised Land—the land of Canaan—and even when He had the House of Israel captured by the Assyrians, and then later scattered and then the House of Judah when He had them captured by the Babylonians.

Exodus 12:26 And it shall come to pass,^H1961 when^H3588 your children^H1121 shall say^H559 unto^H413 you, “What^H4100 mean ye by this^H2063 service?”^H5656   —>   There is going to come a time in the future, when your children are going to ask you “why you are observing the Passover?,” and it is then, that you shall reply, “because it is the LORD’S Passover.” There is even going to come a time, when every other Christian who is observing “easter,” while you observe the LORD’S Passover, that, they will ask you why you are observing the Passover and not “easter,” and, you shall say to them, “It is the LORD’S Passover, and we have no right to change it, to rename it, to change the date we are to celebrate it, nor to change from serving our GOD to serving the false gods and idols like ishtar.

Exodus 12:28 And the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 went away,^H1980 and did^H6213 as^H834 the LORD^H3068 had commanded^H6680 ^H853 Moses^H4872 and Aaron,^H175 so^H3651 did^H6213 they.   —>   After receiving their instructions from Father YHVH, the children of Israel did as they were told, and, they also worshipped Father.

The apostle Paul stated in I Corinthians 5:6-8, that Jesus became our Passover, can you show me in Father’s Word, where Jesus became our easter? The answer is “No you cannot,” because, it is NOT in Father’s Word that Jesus became our easter. We celebrate our sins being covered by the Blood of The LAMB, not by His resurrection. The miracle wasn’t in the resurrection, as, of course He resurrected, He wouldn’t be ELOHIM if He didn’t resurrect. We read in Ecclesiastes 12:6-7, that everybody—our souls—returns to the Father when we die, so, we all resurrect — i.e., ascend up to Father.

12:29 Tenth plague inflicted.
    Death of the firstborn.

Exodus 12:29 And it came to pass,^H1961 that at midnight^H2677^H3915 the LORD^H3068 smote^H5221 all^H3605 the firstborn^H1060 in the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 from the firstborn^H4480 ^H1060 of Pharaoh^H6547 that sat^H3427 on^H5921 his throne^H3678 unto^H5704 the firstborn^H1060 of the captive^H7628 that^H834 was in the dungeon;^H1004 ^H953 and all^H3605 the firstborn^H1060 of cattle.^H929   —>   …At midnight…=Father told this to Moses, who then repeated it to the Israelites in Exodus 11:4, so, now, it is coming to pass. Incidentally, this was on the 14^th of Abib.

The Egyptians had slaughtered all the male children born unto the “Hebrews” after they grew to be too many, because the Egyptians feared that they would grow stronger than the Egyptians and overthrow them; but, here, Father is slaughtering all the firstborn—both male and female—of both man and animals.

12:30 Tenth plague inflicted.
    Death of the firstborn.

Exodus 12:30 And Pharaoh^H6547 rose up^H6965 in the night,^H3915 he,^H1931 and all^H3605 his servants,^H5650 and all^H3605 the Egyptians;^H4714 and there was^H1961 a great^H1419 cry^H6818 in Egypt;^H4714 for^H3588 there was not^H369 a house^H1004 where^H834 ^H8033 there was not^H369 one dead.^H4191   —>   Every Egyptian family, from the pharaoh to the lowest man in their prison, lost either a loved one or one of their head of cattle, for the death Angel passed throughout Egypt on that fourteenth night after the Spring Vernal Equinox. Every single family lost a loved one. Stop and think of this for a moment, how many families will sadly lose loved ones to the lake of fire at the end of Jesus’ 1,000 year Millennium? In most of the world today, religion is like a game to the people, it is something that they gamble with on a win or lose basis. However, Christianity is not a religion, but, a reality, a way of life. It is the process of learning the instructions from our Father, and following those instructions in all parts of our lives. It is exactly like Moses giving our forefathers the detailed instructions for survival of that night of the Passover, and the People listening and obeying each and every detail which was given them.

12:31-14:31 YHVH’S DELIVERANCE

12:31-36 Dismissal, and Spoiling
    of Egyptians.

Exodus 12:31 And he called^H7121 for Moses^H4872 and Aaron^H175 by night,^H3915 and said,^H559 “Rise up,^H6965 and get you forth^H3318 from among^H4480 ^H8432 my people,^H5971 both^H1571 ye^H859 and^H1571 the children^H1121 of Israel;^H3478 and go,^H1980 serve^H5647 the LORD,^H3068 as ye have said.^H1696   —>   As Father’s death Angel was passing throughout all the land that night, pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and told them to gather all the Israelites and “just get.” Pharaoh had now had enough of Father fulfilling His purpose for sending Abram’s offspring down here: the judging of the Egyptian’s gods. Though, as they, and we’re about to find out, they haven’t yet had quite enough, as, Father is going to harden pharaoh’s heart one more time, and, he and his army are going to chase after our forefathers all the way to the sea where they will meet their demise.

Exodus 12:32 Also^H1571 take^H3947 your flocks^H6629 and^H1571 your herds,^H1241 as^H834 ye have said,^H1696 and be gone;^H1980 and bless^H1288 me also.^H1571”   —>   Pharaoh continues, and tells Moses and Aaron to get all their People, all their belongings, and “go.” Notice he also asks for a blessing from them before they depart. Father got pharaoh’s attention; but, again, as he and we’re about to find out in the near future, he is still susceptible to listening to satan, and, it won’t take much for Father to again harden his heart.

Exodus 12:33 And the Egyptians^H4714 were urgent^H2388 upon^H5921 the People,^H5971 that they might send them out^H7971 of^H4480 the land^H776 in haste;^H4116 for^H3588 they said,^H559 “We be all^H3605 dead^H4191 men.”   —>   The Egyptians had had enough of Father’s punishment and had gone to pharaoh to beg him to let our forefathers go, they had had enough of their children and herds dying, and now knew that the sooner the Hebrews were gone, the better it would be for them; as, the dying would then cease, and, at this point, that is all that was now on their minds.

Now, they are taking the remaining dough and the box in which they put their dough to allow it to rise, and then they gathered the rest of their belongings so they can now depart Egypt.

Exodus 12:35 And the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 did^H6213 according to the word^H1697 of Moses;^H4872 and they borrowed^H7592 of the Egyptians^H4714 jewels^H3627 of silver,^H3701 and jewels^H3627 of gold,^H2091 and raiment:^H8071   —>   …borrowed…=Let’s check this word out in our Strong’s Concordance brethren, when we do, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H7592, - שָׁאַל, or שָׁאֵל, shâ'al, or shâ'êl, - pronounced: shaw-alי, or shaw-aleי, and means: A primitive root; to inquire; by implication to request; by extension to demand: - ask (counsel, on, beg, borrow, lay to charge, consult, demand, desire, X earnestly, enquire, + greet, obtain leave, lend, pray, request, require, + salute, X straitly, X surely, wish. Total KJV occurrences: 172.. So, they asked the Egyptians for the gold and silver, and raiment or clothes. In reality, the Egyptians almost demanded they take all that they gave them, because they wanted them gone from them. But, what had Father had told Abram in Genesis 15? He told him that He would bring his descendants out of Egypt with great substance, let’s read it: Genesis 15:13 And He said^H559 unto Abram,^H87 “Know of a surety^H3045 ^H3045 that^H3588 thy seed^H2233 shall be^H1961 a stranger^H1616 in a land^H776 that is not^H3808 theirs, (and shall serve^H5647 them; and they shall afflict^H6031 them) four^H702 hundred^H3967 years;^H8141 [15:14] And also^H1571 ^H853 that nation,^H1471 whom^H834 they shall serve,^H5647 will I^H595 judge:^H1777 and afterward^H310 ^H3651 shall they come out^H3318 with great^H1419 substance.^H7399   —>   Why was Father taking from the Egyptians, was it just to rob them of their wealth? No, if you’ll recall, Father had Blessed Abram and made him a wealthy man. That wealth had been passed to Isaac, Isaac passed it down to Esau and Jacob, Jacob passed it down to 12 his sons, and Jacob and his 12 sons went into Egypt with great wealth, which the Egyptians took from them when they made them slaves. So, they are now just getting back, what was rightfully theirs.

And they spoiled^H5337 ^H853 the Egyptians.^H4714   —>   …lent…=The word lent used in this verse, is the same in the Strong’s Concordance, as the word “borrowed” in the previous verse, and as I pointed out in my commentary in the previous verse, our forefathers asked the Egyptians for the gold and silver and raiment, and the Egyptians “gladly gave,” our forefathers as much as they desired. Dr. Bullinger notes in companion Notes to this verse, that there is a מ prefix, thus making this a hiphil—meaning, it “conveys an active-causative action”—particle, and shows that, “the Egyptians pressed the Israelites to ‘take’ all they desired.” Therefore the Egyptians were more than happy to give our forefathers their “pay” of gold and jewels, just to have them leave Egypt. Whatever they wanted, they allowed our forefathers to take. They wanted YHVH off their backs and our forefathers out of their land, and our forefathers were given much in that night to the point of “spoiling the Egyptians.” Did the Egyptians learn anything and were they saved? Only Father knows; however, this much we know, the Egyptians now knew that there was a God of the children of Israel, and, that, He was and IS the only True Living God.

As far as our forefathers; they also learned to listen to Father YHVH, and to follow His instructions. Father allowed all this to happen, so, that, you and I living in this, the final Generation, could also come to know the One and Only True Living God. What did Paul tell us in the New Testament in I Corinthians 10? So that, you and I today can know and understand, that there is ONLY One True and Living GOD, Father in His role of ELOAH, from the website Hebrew4Christians, where we read: “אֱלוֹהַּ, “Mighty, Powerful One.” The word ELOAH is the singular (or dual) of ELOHIM and appears more than 70 times in the Tanakh, primarily in the more poetic passages—my note here, the Tanakh is the Hebrew Bible, which is also called the Tanakh; תָּנָ״ךְ, pronounced [taיnaχ] or the [təיnax]; also Tenakh, Tenak, Tanach or sometimes the Mikra, is the canonical collection of Hebrew scriptures. These texts are almost exclusively in Biblical Hebrew, with a few passages in Biblical Aramaic instead—in the Books of Daniel and Ezra, and also found in Jeremiah 10:11, and some single words. Note that the final הַּ, hey uses a Mappiq—my note here, the mappiq (מפיק‎, also mapiq, mapik, mappik, lit. “causing to go out”) is a diacritic—a sign, such as an accent, cedilla, or a mark which when written above or below a letter, indicates a difference in pronunciation from the same letter when unmarked or differently marked—used in the Hebrew alphabet. It is part of the Massorites’ system of niqqud—vowel points—and was added to Hebrew orthography at the same time. It takes the form of a dot in the middle of a letter (usually ה‎, he). An identical point with a different phonetic function (marking different consonants) is called a dagesh—and the syllable uses the furtive patach—again, my note here, to understand a furtive patach, normally, you sound out a syllable by first pronouncing the letter sound and then adding the vowel sound. There is an exception to this rule, however: when a word ends in a הַּ, chet, an ע, ayin, or a dotted חֵ hey, (mappiq) and has a patach vowel mark, you first pronounce the vowel sound and then add the letter sound. Eloah is God in connection with His Will rather than His power. The first occurrence associates this name with worship (Deuteronomy 32:15, 17). Hence it is the title used whenever the contrast (latent or expressed) is with false gods or idols. ELOAH is essentially “the living God” in contrast to inanimate idols. 12:37-39 Departure from Egypt
    to Succoth.

Exodus 12:37 And the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 journeyed^H5265 from Rameses^H4480 ^H7486 (city of the sun; and, child of the sun) (rah-mes-aceי) to Succoth^H5523 (booths; and, booths) (sook-kohthי), about six^H8337 hundred^H3967 thousand^H505 on foot^H7273 that were men,^H1397 beside^H905 children.^H4480 ^H2945   —>   That night, as they were leaving the land—either Goshen or Rameses, or which could be one and the same—their first stop was Succoth, where they would camp that first night. They were 600,000 war-fighting aged men strong. This 600,000 does not include the older men, the women, or the children. Altogether, this Pastor and author of this Study, speculates that they were over 2 to 2-1/2 million People in number.

Rameses=So said to be called, because it was supposedly built by Rameses II; however, this is not documented, and therefore, cannot be proved.
Rameses
Rameses=Boy howdy, there is more that we do not know, than what we do know of the land called Rameses; and what we do know—besides what is written in Father’s Word—is mere conjecture and speculation. We read in Genesis 47, that when the famine came upon the land of Canaan and the land of Egypt, Joseph, who had been sold by his brothers and taken to Egypt, and who had risen to be Pharaoh’s second in command over the land of lower Egypt, brought—with Pharaoh’s Blessing and permission—his father, his brothers and all their families down into Egypt, into Goshen—Genesis 47:1,4—and gave them the land of Goshen for a possession; but, then we read several verses later—Genesis 47:6,11—that the land he gave to them is called Rameses. It is unclear and uncertain by this Pastor and author of this Study, all the Biblical scholars, and even historians, whether Goshen and Rameses are one and the same, or whether Rameses was a district of Goshen—some postulate it to be called so, because it was supposedly built by Rameses II; however, this is not documented, and therefore, cannot be proved. In either case, Rameses/Goshen was a land in the lower part of Egypt which was fertile, and able to sustain both human population and livestock—Biblical historian Josephus gives this account: “When Jacob was come to the king, and saluted him, and wished all prosperity to his government, Pharaoh asked him how old he now was; upon whose answer, that he was a hundred and thirty years old, he admired Jacob on account of the length of his life. And when he had added, that still he had not lived so long as his forefathers, he gave him leave to live with his children in Heliopolis; for in that city the king’s shepherds had their pasturage.”. Rameses/Goshen was ruled by an Egyptian Pharaoh—some, myself included, speculate that this Pharaoh was one of the Hyksos, otherwise known as the Egyptian shepherd-kings—who were also known to call their kings or rulers Pharaoh—who were known to be herds-men, which the Egyptians themselves did not keep—it was situated on the eastern side of the Nile River and extended from the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea. In the Biblical accounting of our forefathers, when they first arrived in the land, as I stated above, it was very fertile—it was known to be “the best of the land”—Genesis 47:6,11—and the Pharaoh was very friendly with them; however, history records, that, over time the Hyksos lost control of the native Egyptian population. The Hyksos dynasty was destroyed, and the Hyksos and their allies who remained in Egypt were killed, enslaved or expelled from the Nile delta. Among those allies may have been our forefathers, and since the Egyptians had a habit of trying to erase people they did not like from history, it is not out of the question for them to have decided to remove mentions of Joseph and our forefathers. This would explain why the pharaoh in the time of the Exodus—Exodus 1:8—“knew not Joseph” as Joseph had been advising the Hyksos, not the Egyptians. † Abarim Publications does not give an etymology for either name Rameses or Goshen, and as such neither can I. † Now from the Strong’s Concordance, where we find that the Hebrew word number for Rameses is: H7486, - רַעְמְסֵס, or רַעַמְסֵס, - ra‛m^esês, or ra‛amsês, - pronounced: rah-mes-aceי, or rah-am-saceי, and means: Of Egypt origin; Rameses or Raamses, a place in Egypt: - Raamses, Rameses. Total KJV occurrences: 5.. † Now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary, where we read: “Child of the sun. A city and district of lower Egypt Genesis 47:11; Exodus 12:37; Numbers 33:3-5. This land of Rameses either corresponds to the land of Goshen or was a district of it, more probably the former. The city was one of the two store-cities built for the Pharaoh who first oppressed the children of Israel Exodus 1:11, (it was probably the capital of Goshen and situated in the valley of the Pelusiac mouth of the Nile. McClintock and Strong say that its location is indicated by the present Tell Ramsis, a quadrangular mound near Belbeis. Dr. Brugsch thinks that it was at Zoan-Tanis, the modern San, on the Tanitic branch of the Nile, and that it was built or enlarged by Rameses II and made his capital. --ED.)”.
Succoth
Succoth=Our first encounter with Succoth—in the land of Egypt—in Father’s Word—Exodus 12:37—is as Father is leading our forefathers out of the land of Egypt. We read in Exodus 12:37, that as Father was doing so, our forefathers journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, which was about 15 miles south and east of Rameses—each day of our forefathers’ journey when they left Egypt, was about 15 miles. We next read—Exodus 13:20—that they packed-up all their gear and belongings and removed from Succoth to Etham, thus was the beginnings of their 38 year journeyings before finally settling in the Promised Land, the land of Canaan. This accounting of their leaving Egypt is retold by Moses in Numbers 33:5-6. † For the etymology of the name Succoth, we read the following in Abarim Publications: “The name Succoth comes from the verb סכך (sakak), meaning to cover or to weave: For a meaning of the name Succoth, both Jones’ Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names and New Open Bible Study Edition (NOBSE) Study Bible Name List read Booths and although that is correct, it should be noted that the building of shelters for cattle pretty much marked the beginning of the agricultural revolution and thus of modern humanity. Modern humanity, in turn, exists because of man’s amazing ability to combine different strands of wisdom (how to grow corn, how to make bronze, how to write) into one sizzling unified culture. That too sits in this name.”. † Now from the Strong’s Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H5523, - סֻכּוֹת, or סֻכֹּת, - sûkkôth, or sûkkôth, - pronounced: sook-kohthי, or sook-kohthי, and means: Plural of H5521; booths; Succoth, the name of a place in Egypt and of three in Palestine: - Succoth. A pretty large number of the Egyptians. They fled their homeland to join onto our forefathers in order to come to know, and then worship, Father. They saw What He had done, and they saw Who He saved, and they knew and understood that He alone is ELOAH — The One and Only True and Living God. Sadly though, some of these people, when the going will get a little tough, they’ll whine and desire to return home to Egypt, as we read of in Numbers 11:1-6, which reads: Numbers 11:1 And when the People^H5971 complained,^H596 it displeased^H7451 ^H241 the LORD:^H3068 and the LORD^H3068 heard^H8085 it; and His anger^H639 was kindled;^H2734 and the fire^H784 of the LORD^H3068 burnt^H1197 among them, and consumed^H398 them that were in the uttermost parts^H7097 of the camp.^H4264   —>   Everything Father has even up to this point done for them, and here, some stand and murmur against Him. Can you imagine?! But, this is Old Testament times, and, He has only just brought our forefathers and this mixed multitude of Egyptians, up out of the land of Egypt, it isn’t New Testament times yet, therefore, He has not yet gone to the cross for we, His children. But, now that we are 2,000 plus years since He has been crucified on the cross, is it any different? No, the people today still murmur. Perhaps it’s because it has been 2,000 plus years since He went to the cross for us, and the people have forgotten His Promises. …the fire of the LORD=Those before the Law were not punished, Exodus 14:11 And they said^H559 unto^H413 Moses,^H4872 “Because^H4480 ^H1097 there were no^H369 graves^H6913 in Egypt,^H4714 hast thou taken us away^H3947 to die^H4191 in the wilderness?^H4057 wherefore^H4100 hast thou dealt^H6213 thus^H2063 with us, to carry us forth^H3318 out of Egypt?^H4480 ^H4714   —>   No matter what, the People just cannot stop their whining and complaining. Even then they complained. This is what happens when you coddled people, much like we’re seeing with some in this Country—the United States of America—today. Of course, that is the way our current corrupt government wants it, and, as it shall be at the end of this Age. [14:13] And Moses^H4872 said^H559 unto^H413 the People,^H5971 “Fear^H3372 ye not,^H408 stand still,^H3320 and see^H7200 ^H853 the salvation^H3444 of the LORD,^H3068 which^H834 He will shew^H6213 to you to day:^H3117 for^H3588 the Egyptians^H4714 whom^H834 ye have seen^H7200 to day,^H3117 ye shall see^H7200 them again^H5750 no^H3808 more^H3254 for ever.^H5921 ^H5769   —>   This verse too shows how it will be at the end of the Age; as, there will be some—Father’s Elect—who’ll say just as Moses said here in this verse: “…stand still, and see the Salvation of the LORD….” [14:14] The LORD^H3068 shall fight^H3898 for you, and ye^H859 shall hold your peace.”^H2790   —>   The LORD shall fight for you…=Brethren, think Gog and Magog, for the fight at the end of the Age is there—see Ezekiel 38—and it is Father Who does that fighting. [14:15] And the LORD^H3068 said^H559 unto^H413 Moses,^H4872 “Wherefore^H4100 criest^H6817 thou unto^H413 Me? speak^H1696 unto^H413 the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 that they go forward:^H5265   —>   see also, Exodus 15:24-26, which reads: Exodus 15:24 And the People^H5971 murmured^H3885 against^H5921 Moses,^H4872 saying,^H559 “What^H4100 shall we drink?”^H8354   —>   No matter what Father did for them, no matter where He led and brought them to, no matter what He gave to them, they just could not stop their incessant whining. [15:25] And he cried^H6817 unto^H413 the LORD;^H3068 and the LORD^H3068 shewed^H3384 him a tree,^H6086 which when he had cast^H7993 into^H413 the waters,^H4325 the waters^H4325 were made sweet:^H4985 There^H8033 he made^H7760 for them a statute^H2706 and an ordinance,^H4941 and there^H8033 He proved^H5254 them,   —>   Moses, about fed up with this People, now cries to Father, and Father then revealed to him a tree which would turn the water from bitterness, and make it sweet. Father used this bitter water as a test for His People, to see what they would do. Just as Father would test Moses and our forefathers in the wilderness, He will also test us in our daily lives. When it appears that nothing is going right for you, and the weight of the world is heavy upon you, there is another tree which we can use to correct the bitter waters of our lives. This Tree was there in the Garden of Eden, right there alongside Father, and is called “The Tree of Life.” Jesus can turn the “bitter waters in your life” into a “fountain of sweet waters of eternal life;” whereby, we will never thirst again when we partake of those waters which He offers us. Jesus paid the price on a tree: the cross, and when we turn to that cross—no, it is not the cross which saves us, it is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ which saves us—our Heavenly Father will make life sweet again. We can also read of Jesus being the Tree of Life in The Book of Revelation, there, in verse Revelation 22:2, we read Revelation 22:2 In^G1722 the midst^G3319 of the^G3588 street^G4113 of it,^G846 and^G2532 on either side^G1782 ^G2532 ^G1782 of the^G2532 river,^G4215 was there the tree^G3586 of life,^G2222 which bare^G4160 twelve^G1427 manner of fruits,^G2590 and yielded^G591 her^G848 fruit^G2590 every^G2596 ^G1538 ^G1520 month:^G3376 and^G2532 the^G3588 leaves^G5444 of the^G3588 tree^G3586 were for^G1519 the healing^G2322 of the^G3588 nations.^G1484   —>   We need to apply the spiritual application to this verse. Though the thoughts from the manuscripts are hard to get the actual translation into English, what this is saying, is that, when we are in heaven we can partake of the Tree of Life every day, as Jesus will be right there among us. The fruit is for our enjoyment, while the leaves bring us healing, not in the physical sense, as we’ll be in our Spiritual bodies. The point to this verse, is that, during the 3^rd Age, there is no way to be bored or disgusted with yourself when you partake of the leaves of the Tree of Life. This is why during the entire never ending time in the eternity, the eternal spiritual life will be such a blessing, whether in the first year, or untold millennia of years later—remember, time in Father’s eternity has no meaning, as we won’t measure time. There is no ending to life in Father’s Kingdom, and each day in that Kingdom will be blissful with Father, His Holy Spirit, and Christ. Father will see to it that you have purpose to life continually. But, for us today while still in the flesh body, this is an example of the going out, which, when you find yourself in that bitter water of Meribah, never forget to turn to that tree, the cross of Christ, to put sense of purpose and duty back into your life. It requires action on your part, which is sustained by your belief and confidence that Father is able to keep His Promises. But, you must participate one day at a time, one step at a time walking down the path which is laid out completely in His Word. Nobody is going to make that walk for you, it is only you who can set the pace and direction for your life. That cross, that tree, makes the bitter water sweet and bearable. The peace of mind which comes with that sweet water, gives you the ability to get through anything. [15:26] And said,^H4985 There^H559 “If^H4985 There^H518 thou wilt diligently hearken^H4985 There^H8085 ^H4985 There^H8085 to the voice^H4985 There^H6963 of the LORD^H4985 There^H3068 thy God,^H4985 There^H430 and wilt do^H4985 There^H6213 that which is right^H4985 There^H3477 in His sight,^H4985 There^H5869 and wilt give ear^H4985 There^H238 to His commandments,^H4985 There^H4687 and keep^H4985 There^H8104 all^H4985 There^H3605 His statutes,^H4985 There^H2706 I will put^H4985 There^H7760 none^H4985 There^H3808 ^H4985 There^H3605 of these diseases^H4985 There^H4245 upon^H4985 There^H5921 thee, which^H4985 There^H834 I have brought^H4985 There^H7760 upon the Egyptians:^H4985 There^H4714 for^H4985 There^H3588 I^H4985 There^H589 am the LORD^H4985 There^H3068 that healeth^H4985 There^H7495 thee.”   —>   Moses now turns to the People and tells them to put their trust and faith in Father, to hear, obey, and do His Commandments, Laws, Ordinances and Statutes, and it will be well with, and for them; and, then again, in Exodus 16 which reads: Exodus 16:2 And the whole^H3605 congregation^H5712 of the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 murmured^H3885 against^H5921 Moses^H4872 and Aaron^H175 in the wilderness:^H4057   —>   …the whole congregation murmured…=In hindsight, it’s almost hard to believe that every one of our forefathers complained and whined against Father about His bringing them out from under their bondage to the Egyptians. [16:3] And the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 said^H559 unto^H413 them, “Would to God^H4310 ^H5414 we had died^H4191 by the hand^H3027 of the LORD^H3068 in the land^H776 of Egypt,^H4714 when we sat^H3427 by^H5921 the flesh^H1320 pots,^H5518 <and when we did eat^H398 bread^H3899 to the full;^H7648 for^H3588 ye have brought us forth^H3318 ^H853 into^H413 this^H2088 wilderness,^H4057 to kill^H4191 this^H2088 whole^H3605 assembly^H6951 with hunger.”^H7458   —>   Here are our forefathers out in the desert, free as birds, and yet, they think they are starving to death. So, of course, their minds go back to those times in bondage as they sat by their flesh pots with bread on their table. Brethren, when these hard times came, their minds forgot about being in the bondage which they had been in; and, instead, focused only on the cries of their bellies. Put this in the spiritual application, and apply it to the churches of today. Today, we have an enormous number of churches, “cafes of spiritual food” around our land; however, they are all lacking in giving out Spiritual Meat in the form as Father intended it to be given out. There are very few of them which Teach Book-by-Book, Chapter-by-chapter and Verse-by-Verse, giving the Truth of Father’s Word. Do you ever wonder why churches fail? Take a look at what Spiritual Meat was given out in that church. We are living in the latter days brethren, in the very end times, and Amos warned us of this in Amos 8: Amos 8:11 Behold^H2009 the days^H3117 come,^H935 saith^H5002 the Lord^H136 GOD,^H3069 that I will send^H7971 a famine^H7458 in the land,^H776 not^H3808 a famine^H7458 of bread,^H3899 nor^H3808 a thirst^H6772 for water,^H4325 but^H3588 ^H518 of hearing^H8085 ^H853 the words^H1697 of the LORD:^H3068   —>   This is Father’s warning to us, the generation living in these latter days. Stop and look around, how many preachers know who the Kenites are, or what really happened in the Garden of Eden? How many are prepared to meet satan when he arrives at the sixth trump? Are they preparing their congregations for that time? Look around you today, today there is a war on Father and Christianity, they are trying to remove Father from our Nation and the world. Schools grooming, indoctrinating and pushing homosexuality and trans-genderism, sexualizing our young, minor children. Amos 8:12 And they shall wander^H5128 from sea^H4480 ^H3220 to^H5704 sea,^H3220 and from the north^H4480 ^H6828 even to^H5704 the east,^H4217 they shall run to and fro^H7751 to seek^H1245 ^H853 the word^H1697 of the LORD,^H3068 and shall not^H3808 find^H4672 it.   —>   You can travel coast to coast, or to any country in the world, and for the most part, the truth in Father’s Word is just not taught. People seek His truth; however, again, for the most part, there are only lies, fairy-tales, traditions of man, and denominational doctrine. Oh yeah, the pastor will read a verse or two from “the good Book,” but, then they’ll go off in their sermons which come from man’s traditions. Their fairy-tales of fly-away doctrine, mumbling in some turkey gobble, prosperity doctrines and other such garbage goes against the Father’s Word, or their sermons are geared to the tithe to relate to their money needs. Biblical hunger is what people all over the world will lack in the end times, and we just read that it is of Father’s doing because people reject Him and His Truth. It is one of the sure signs that we are indeed in the latter days of this Age. The people need to be fed when they are hungry, or they will start to Murmur, and it is no different whether the shortage is from physical food or spiritual food. Will Father feed them Spiritually? Yes, just as He will feed you when you are starved for the Truth, and seek the Truth from His Word. [16:4] Then said^H559 the LORD^H3068 unto Moses,^H4872 “Behold,^H2009 I will rain^H4305 bread^H3899 from^H4480 heaven^H8064 for you; and the People^H5971 shall go out^H3318 and gather^H3950 a certain rate every day,^H1697 ^H3117 ^H3117 that^H4616 I may prove^H5254 them, whether they will walk^H1980 in My law,^H8451 or^H518 no.^H3808   —>   Listen to how loving our Father was and is. Instead of being angry—which He had every right to be—He instead tells Moses and Aaron, that He will provide their daily portion: i.e., the daily bread from heaven. Though, in doing so, He is testing them to see whether they love Him and will obey Him, or not. Skip down to verse v16:9 with me: Exodus 16:9 And Moses^H4872 spake^H559 unto^H413 Aaron,^H175 “Say^H559 unto^H413 all^H3605 the congregation^H5712 of the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 ‘Come near^H7126 before^H6440 the LORD:^H3068 for^H3588 He hath heard^H8085 ^H853 your murmurings.’x”^H8519   —>   Anytime Father is going to speak to the congregation, it is important to stop what you’re doing and listen and pay attention so that you can understand exactly what He is saying. When you offer your prayers to Father, He listens closely to every word and thought from your mind. Here, Father is telling Moses and Aaron what He will do for the people, they in turn will relate that information to the People. Now, down to verse v16:20: Exodus 16:20 Notwithstanding they hearkened^H8085 not^H3808 unto^H413 Moses;^H4872 but some^H376 of them left^H3498 of^H4480 it until^H5704 the morning,^H1242 and it bred^H7311 worms,^H8438 and stank:^H887 and Moses^H4872 was wroth^H7107 with^H5921 them.   —>   They refused to pay heed to Father and they didn’t trust Him enough to know that He would provide for them every day. He told them to take only enough for one day’s need. Did they do that? No, they had to do things their way and try and keep some for the next day too. What happened? It was filled with worms. Again, put this in the Spiritual sense for today and what the congregations hear in the church houses. Now down to Exodus 16:27 And it came to pass,^H1961 that there went out^H#318 some of^H4480 the People^H5971 on the seventh^H7637 day^H3117 for to gather,^H3950 and they found^H4672 none.^H3808 [16:28] And the LORD^H3068 said^H559 unto^H413 Moses,^H4872 “How long^H5704 ^H575 refuse^H3985 ye to keep^H8104 My commandments^H4687 and My laws?”^H8451   —>   They still murmured, belly-ached, and acted out. Again when Moses was up on Mount Sinai receiving the Ten Commandments from Father, as can be read in Exodus 32; Father told Moses that his—Moses’, not by birth or in the literal sense, but in the sense that he had charge over them—children had made the golden calf and were worshipping it. Before turning to leave, Moses reminded Father that the Israelites were His children—in the True sense, as Father is ELOHIM, He Created every one of us and we are all His Children—however, he would go down and straighten them out, only, Father needed to allow him to do so, before He destroyed them. Exodus 32:27 And he(Moses) said^H559 unto them, “Thus^H3541 saith^H559 the LORD^H3068 God^H430 of Israel,^H3478 ‘Put^H7760 every man^H376 his sword^H2719 by^H5921 his side,^H3409 and go in^H5674 and out^H7725 from gate^H4480 ^H8179 to gate^H8179 throughout the camp,^H4264 and slay^H2026 every man^H376 ^H853 his brother,^H251 and every man^H376 ^H853 his companion,^H7453 and every man^H376 ^H853 his neighbour.’x”^H7138   —>   Moses came down from the mount, angry, and said to the Israelites “who is on Father’s side?” Only the Levites gathered themselves to Moses, who then told them to put their swords on and go through all Israel and slay everyone who would not stop doing the evilness they were doing. [32:28] And the children^H1121 of Levi^H3878 did^H6213 according to the word^H1697 of Moses:^H4872 and there fell^H5307 of^H4480 the People^H5971 that^H1931 day^H3117 about three^H7969 thousand^H505 men.^H376   —>   The Levites didn’t hesitate to obey Moses and Father. Sadly, today, we do hesitate and do not obey Father. The Christians tell our politicians that we want to live as closely to Father as we can—and our Constitution guarantees that right—however, the other people in this country want nothing to do with Father, and that is who our politicians listen to, telling we Christians that we need to “lighten up” and work with the heathen in order to get along. No, we need more Christians to act like the Levites and dawn their swords and make that stand for Father. [32:29] For Moses^H4872 had said,^H559 “Consecrate^H4390 ^H3027 yourselves to day^H3117 to the LORD,^H3068 even^H3588 every man^H376 upon his son,^H1121 and upon his brother;^H251 that He may bestow^H5414 upon^H5921 you a blessing^H1293 this day.”^H3117   —>   Here is how we receive our Blessing from Father. By consecrating ourselves to Father by hearing, obeying and doing His Commandments, Laws, Ordinances and Statutes. [32:30] And it came to pass^H1961 on the morrow,^H4480 ^H4283 that Moses^H4872 said^H559 unto^H413 the People,^H5971 “Ye^H859 have sinned^H2398 a great^H1419 sin:^H2401 and now^H6258 I will go up^H5927 unto^H413 the LORD;^H3068 peradventure^H194 I shall make an atonement^H3722 for^H1157 your sin.”^H2403   —>   Today, and ever since Jesus went to the cross and when He gave up the Spirit and rent the veil from top to bottom, we can boldly go in before Father and repent of our sins and ask His forgiveness. We no longer need an intercessor, Jesus became our intercessor, and when we go to Father, He is standing right beside there us. [32:31] And Moses^H4872 returned^H7725 unto^H413 the LORD,^H3068 and said,^H559 “Oh,^H577 this^H2088 People^H5971 have sinned^H2398 a great^H1419 sin,^H2401 and have made^H6213 them gods^H430 of gold.^H2091 [32:32] Yet now,^H6258 if^H518 Thou wilt forgive^H5375 their sin — ;^H2403 and if^H518 not,^H369 blot^H4229 me, I pray Thee,^H4994 out of Thy book^H4480 ^H5612 which^H834 Thou hast written.”^H3789   —>   After sending the Levites out and their slaying 3,000 of their countrymen who decided to not follow after Father, and then returning to Moses to report what they had completed; Moses then returned to father to ask for forgiveness for the remainder of the congregation. Moses actually put out a fleece before Father, saying, that if Father could not forgive the Israelites their sin, then instead of slaying them, call him Home to Him in their steed. [32:33] And the LORD^H3068 said^H559 unto^H413 Moses,^H4872 “Whosoever^H4310 ^H834 hath sinned^H2398 against Me, him will I blot out^H4229 of My book.^H4480 ^H5612   —>   This happens at the end of Jesus’ 1,000 Millennium, and not before as far as the soul is concerned; however, Father was angry enough to call those souls which had sinned there at the base of Mount Sinai Home to Him right then and there. [32:34] Therefore now^H6258 go,^H1980 lead^H5148 ^H853 the People^H5971 unto^H413 the place of which^H834 I have spoken^H1696 unto thee: behold,^H2009 Mine Angel^H4397 shall go^H1980 before^H6440 thee: nevertheless in the day^H3117 when I visit^H6485 I will visit^H6485 their sin^H2403 upon^H5921 them.”   —>   Time after time our forefathers sinned against Father, which angered and saddened Him. [32:35] And the LORD^H3068 plagued^H5062 ^H853 the People,^H5971 because^H5921 ^H834 they made^H6213 ^H853 the calf,^H5695 which^H834 Aaron^H175 made.^H6213   —>   They made the calf which they lied—even to themselves—and claimed that it was the calf—which they made with their own hands—that brought them up, out of Egypt. In doing thus, they broke Father’s law, and we can compare with Romans 4:15, which reads: Romans 4:15 Because^G1063 the^G3588 law^G3551 worketh^G2716 wrath:^G3709 for^G1063 where^G3757 no^G3756 law^G3551 is,^G2076 there is no^G3761 transgression.^G3847. Let’s return now to Numbers 11: Numbers 11:2 And the people^H5971 cried^H6817 unto^H413 Moses;^H4872 and when Moses^H4872 prayed^H6419 unto the LORD,^H3068 the fire^H784 was quenched.^H8257   —>   Over and over again they’ll murmur about Father bringing them up out of the land of Egypt, and then cry unto Moses for Father to stop being angry with them. All their crying is evil in the ears of the Father. And time and again, Moses prayer unto Father will quench the fire. It’s the same today, so many people don’t believe in Father YHVH, and so many “Christians” don’t have Father’s truth even though His Word is right there in front of them, my goodness how it must hurt and anger Him. Numbers 11:3 And he called^H7121 the name^H8034 of the place^H4725 Taberah (burning; and, burning) (tab-ay-rawי):^H8404 because^H3588 the fire^H784 of the LORD^H3068 burnt^H1197 among them.   —>   After the fire of the Father burnt there, Moses called that place “burning” which is what Taberah means. Numbers 11:4 And the mixt multitude^H628 that^H834 was among^H7130 them fell a lusting:^H183 ^H8378 and the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 also^H1571 wept^H1058 again,^H7725 and said,^H559 “Who^H4310 shall give us flesh^H1320 to eat?^H398   —>   Remember, here in this verse of Exodus 12:38 that many other peoples are coming up out of Egypt with the Israelites, and it is these camp followers who are now doing murmuring. …fell a lusting…=This means that they lusted exceedingly, and we can compare this with: Psalms 78:18-20, which reads: Psalms 78:18 And they tempted^H5254 GOD^H410 in their heart^H3824 by asking^H7592 meat^H400 for their lust.^H5315 [78:19] Yea, they spake^H1696 against God;^H430 they said,^H559 ”Can^H3201 GOD^H410 furnish^H6186 a table^H7979 in the wilderness?^H4057 [78:20] Behold,^H2005 He smote^H5221 the rock,^H6697 that the waters^H4325 gushed out,^H2100 and the streams^H5158 overflowed;^H7857 can^H3201 He give^H5414 bread^H3899 also?^H1571 can He provide^H3559 flesh^H7607 for his people?”^H5971   —>   All which Father did for them and still only out of their mouths, not praise; but, unbelief, again in Psalms 106:14, which reads: Psalms 106:14 But lusted exceedingly^H183 ^H8378 in the wilderness,^H4057 and tempted^H5254 GOD^H410 in the desert.^H3452   —>   This is why He caused them to wander the wilderness for those 38 years: their unbelief. Numbers 11:5 We remember^H2142 ^H853 the fish,^H1710 which^H834 we did eat^H398 in Egypt^H4714 freely;^H2600 ^H853 the cucumbers,^H7180 and the melons,^H20 and the leeks,^H2682 and the onions,^H1211 and the garlick:^H7762   —>   Notice all the “and(s)” in this verse? It is to emphasize the “six” items of food which were mentioned. We can compare these six items of food here while in Egypt with the seven items of food they’ll have when they arrive in the land which Father is going to give them; Deuteronomy 8:8 A land^H776 of wheat,^H2406 and barley,^H8184 and vines,^H1612 and fig trees,^H8384 and pomegranates;^H7416 a land^H776 of oil^H8081 olive,^H2132 and honey;^H1706   —>   Notice also the chapter and verse number in this verse? “8:8,” eight which means “new beginnings.” Numbers 11:6 But now^H6258 our soul^H5315 is dried away:^H3002 there is nothing^H369 at all,^H3605 beside^H1115 ^H413 this manna,^H4478 before our eyes.”^H5869   —>   All He is doing for them and giving them, and all they can do is whine.

Let’s return now to Exodus 12:39.

Exodus 12:39 And they baked^H644 unleavened^H4682 cakes^H5692 of^(H853) the dough^H1217 which^H834 they brought forth^H3318 out of Egypt,^H4714 for^H3588 it was not leavened;^H3808 ^H2556 because^H3588 they were thrust out^H1644 of Egypt,^H4480 ^H4714 and could^H3201 not^H3808 tarry,^H4102 neither^H1517 ^H3808 had they prepared^H6213 for themselves any victual.^H6720   —>   They left Egypt so quickly, that there wasn’t even time for the leaven in the bread to rise. We know that as our forefathers traveled through the wilderness, Father fed them daily with manna from heaven, and then later, quail as well. The manna is a “type” which we eat today, which is to say, the body of Christ Jesus. Our Father was complete in His instructions to His People, so that, we could find peace of mind, and feast on the blessings which He sends our way. As you read the unleavened cakes from heaven, the truths which flow from Father’s Word, allow His Holy Spirit to comfort your soul and give you peace from those troubles which face each of us in our daily lives. It is Father’s grace which is sufficient for each person who will take the time to allow Father’s Spirit to seal your and my mind with His truths.

12:40-42 Fulfillment of prophesy.

Exodus 12:40 Now the sojourning^H4186 of the children^H1121 of Israel,^H3478 (who^H834 dwelt^H3427 in Egypt^H4714), was four^H702 hundred^H3967 and thirty^H7970 years.^H8141   —>   It was 430 years from the call of Abram, to the night of the Passover, exactly 430 years to the day. This is based upon the solar calendar for accuracy. In Dr. Bullinger’s Companion Bible, Appendix 50 helps to give us the documentation on this. When we try to figure out dates from the scriptures it’s easy to become confused; but, The Book of Daniel gives us clues why this is. We like to use satan’s measurements to do our figuring by months and moons; however, Father’s time schedule goes by solar calendar. Father told Daniel to “Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.,” is it any wonder those teachers from centuries past were off in their predictions, and prophecies? The prophecies couldn’t be understood, because the signs for those times had not yet happened. People had no idea what the world would be like, for the past hundred years have unshed people into a realm of time which was unthinkable one hundred years ago.

Exodus 12:41 And it came to pass^H1961 at the end^H4480 ^H7093 of the four^H702 hundred^H3967 and thirty^H7970 years,^H8141 even the selfsame^H2088 ^H6106 day^H3117 it came to pass,^H1961 that all^H3605 the hosts^H6635 of the LORD^H3068 went out^H3318 from the land^H4480 ^H776 of Egypt.^H4714   —>   …all the hosts of the LORD went out…=They left Egypt that very night, on the anniversary of the 430 years that Father told Abram that his offspring would serve a strange people in a strange land in order that Father judge those strange peoples and their false gods, so that, they would know that He and He alone is YHVH.

Exodus 12:42 It^H1931 is a night^H3915 to be much observed^H8107 unto the LORD^H3068 for bringing them out^H3318 from the land^H4480 ^H776 of Egypt:^H4714 this^H2088 is that^H1931 night^H3915 of the LORD^H3068 to be observed^H8107 of all^H3605 the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 in their generations.^H1755   —>   …a night to be much observed…=In the Strong’s Concordance, the word “observed” is Hebrew word number H8107, - שׁמּר, - shimmûr, - pronounced: shim-moorי, and means: From H8104; an observance: - X be (much) observed. Total KJV occurrences: 2.. Now let’s look at Hebrew word number H8104, when we do we find the following: H8104, - שׁמר, - shâmar, - pronounced: shaw-marי, and means: A primitive root; properly to hedge about (as with thorns), that is, guard; generally to protect, attend to, etc.: - beware, be circumspect, take heed (to self), keep (-er, self), mark, look narrowly, observe, preserve, regard, reserve, save (self), sure, (that lay) wait (for), watch (-man). Total KJV occurrences: 468.. So, in other words, it is something to always be observed, preserved and reserved, thus remembered and celebrated, never forgotten. Year after year, never changing, never ceasing they were—and we are—to celebrate what Father did for them, and us, so that, we too know that He is YHVH. Again, it is His Passover, therefore we have no right to change it.

…night of the LORD=This “night of the LORD” spoken of here, is “the night of the destroyer.” This is what was addressed in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, when Jesus’ disciples asked Him what it would be like just prior His return. Jesus then gives us the seven signs which are to take place before He returns at the sounding of the seventh trumpet, so that His disciples will not be deceived, and taken by the destroyer satan. Those seven warning events are the same as the seven seals, seven vials, and the seven trumpets of The Book of Revelation. Jesus has told us exactly how the end of our Flesh Age would come to pass, and the events of this generation will come into being. We are to be watchmen for those times so that we will not be taken out of season. In our generation many people come to you from all different denominations, telling you that they are coming to you in the name of Jesus; however, Jesus told us to look out for them and take heed of them: Matthew 24:4 And^G2532 Jesus^G2424 answered^G611 and said^G2036 unto them,^G846 “Take heed^G991 that no^G3361 man^G5100 deceive^G4105 you.^G5209 [24:5] For^G1063 many^G4183 shall come^G2064 in^G1909 My^G3450 name,^G3686 saying^G3004 ‘I^G1473 am^G1510 Christ;’^G5547 and^G2532 shall deceive^G4105 many.^G4183   —>   The apostle Paul also warned us of this in II Thessalonians 2, where we read: II Thessalonians 2:1 Now^G1161 we beseech^G2065 you,^G5209 brethren,^G80 by^G5228 the^G3588 coming^G3952 of our^G2257 LORD^G2962 Jesus^G2424 Christ,^G5547 and^G2532 by our^G2257 gathering together^G1997 unto^G1909 Him,^G846   —>   Paul is pleading with the Thessalonians—and us—to listen to what he is saying about Jesus’ return, and how we will be gathered back to Him. This gathering takes place, as we’ll read about here in this letter, right here on earth. [2:2] That ye^G5209 be not^G3361 soon^G3050 shaken^G4531 in^G575 mind, or^G3383 be troubled,^G2360 neither^G3383 by^G1223 spirit,^G4151 nor^G3383 by^G1223 word,^G3056 nor^G3383 by^G1223 letter,^G1992 as^G5613 from^G1223 us,^G2557 as that^G3754 the^G3588 day^G2250 of Christ^G5547 is at hand.^G1764   —>   Like Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 24:4, Mark 13:5 and Luke 21:8, be careful who you listen to and pay attention to, otherwise you could be deceived into believing false doctrines. He also said the same thing but in a different way in Matthew 16:5-12. [2:3] Let no^G3361 man^G5100 deceive^G1818 you^G5209 by^G2596 any^G3367 means:^G5158 for^G3754 that day shall not come, except^G3362 there come^G2064 a falling away^G646 first,^G4412 and^G2532 that man^G444 of sin^G266 be revealed,^G601 the^G3588 son^G5207 of perdition,^G684   —>   Paul is telling the Thessalonians—and us—to pay attention, because many men will come with false doctrines and will deceive many so as to confuse, and lead people to the wrong Christ. But, Jesus will not return until the apostasy—the lack of hearing Father’s Word—Amos 8:11—is in full swing, and satan, in his role of anti-christ—or the instead of christ, as this reads in the Greek—stands in Jerusalem, proclaiming that he is Christ and then he will be revealed as the false christ. We are beginning to see the falling away and the apostasy take place now, as Father’s Word is being attacked on a daily basis. Christianity and the name Christ, the ONLY means by which we can be saved and have eternal life with Father, is being supplanted by many false doctrines, idols and other religions, the muslim, being one of them. [2:4] Who opposeth^G480 and^G2532 exalteth himself^G5529 above^G1909 all^G3956 that is called^G3004 God,^G2316 or^G2228 that is worshipped^G4574 so that^G5620 he^G846 as^G5613 God^G2316 sitteth^G2523 in^G1519 the^G3588 temple^G3485 of God,^G2316 shewing^G584 himself^G1438 that^G3754 he is^G2076 God.^G2316   —>   Does this sound like he’ll be coming in and destroying the earth? No! Satan will be right there in the temple saying, I am Christ and I have returned, so you can now stop taking communion in My absence. This is the abomination of desolation which Jesus was talking about in Matthew 24:15 and Mark 13:14, where He was quoting from Daniel 11:31 and 12:11, satan saying and portraying himself as God. If you still believe that there is a rapture of the church, you obviously cannot comprehend what you read, because verses v2:1-4 of this Chapter make it very plain and clear, that satan comes first. Remember also brethren, the sixth trumpet sounds before the seventh, and the night of the Lord comes before the day of the Lord. On the night of the Lord, satan will arrive and the whole world will follow him, believing him to the the true Christ, many Christians included. But, after satan has exalted himself to be called God, by those living on the earth in their flesh bodies, satan the destroyer will sit in the temple of God in Jerusalem, to show that he is God. Will you believe him when he does this? Not if you are sealed in your mind with the truth. Sadly, many Christians will be so steeped in the tradition of men, that satan will look good to them, and they will fall all over themselves to give Satan their souls. That will begin the Exodus of the end times. So, this fourteenth night of the Lord comes before the fifteenth day of the year comes. Brethren, if you are going to be one of those ten virgins waiting to the coming of the bridegroom—Matthew 25:1-13—you had better have enough oil in your lamp to see you all the way through the night, to the coming of the True Christ. That oil is the truth from Father’s Word, and the lamp is your mind. Without enough oil you will be walking in the darkness and taken by the destroyer.

Exodus 12:43 And the LORD^H3068 said^H559 unto^H413 Moses^H4872 and Aaron,^H175 “This^H2063 is the ordinance^H2708 of the passover:^H6453 There shall no^H3808 ^H3605 stranger^H1121 ^H5236 eat^H398 thereof:   —>   All of the things which happened from the establishment of the new year by the vernal Equinox, to the meal, the slaughtering of the lamb, and everything which was done on that night and day, are all part of this ordinance of the Passover. Only Israelites and those who would from this day forward: Love, Serve and Worship Father. Yes, a stranger could be folded in, so long as, they serve only Father; observing His Commandments, Laws, Ordinances and Statutes; and, forsook all other false gods and idols. If one—be they Israelite or a stranger brought in—was found to serve other gods, they were to be put out, and therefore, they were also cast out from the Promise. These were and are Father’s Requirements, His Law, and we are not to change them.

Today, we see certain Denominational church houses deciding who can and cannot partake of Father’s Table. When Jesus gave up The Spirit, the veil was rent from top to bottom, meaning, that it was Father Who rent it, not man, and therefore, today, we have the authority to be able to go boldly into the inner sanctuary, right to Father, no longer needing a High Priest, because, our High Priest is standing on the Right Hand of Father. Now, with this being said, man does not have the right to say who can and cannot partake of Father’s Table, however, if one refuses to strictly adhere to—or at least make a True Heartfelt attempt thereof—His Commandments, Laws, Ordinances and Statutes, then they should not partake. By this, I mean this: one cannot support abortion: the murder of children while yet in their mother’s womb, nor the condoning or homosexuality: calling Father a liar, or that He erred, because, the transgressor states that, “they were made that way;” when, in fact, Father says it’s an abomination, therefore He did not and would not make something so.

Exodus 12:44 But every^H3605 man’s^H376 servant^H5650 that is bought^H4736 for money,^H3701 when thou hast circumcised^H4135 him, then^H227 shall he eat^H398 thereof. —> Again, the stranger may be folded in; however, they must meet the requirements. Many, many hundreds of years from this time, the third man-king of Israel, Solomon, will fail to adhere to Father requirements and cause Israel to fall into sin; therefore, Father will rend the kingdom into two separate and distinct Nations or Houses.

Circumcised=At the time, this was for males, as Father required all those who served Him to circumcise the foreskins of the penises. Today, it is for everybody, and it requires a circumcision of the heart. This means that we are to serve Father only, and we do this by the hearing, obeying and doing of His Commandments, Laws, Ordinances and Statutes. Father laid out the Laws for His covenant, which included the circumcision, back in Genesis 17, which reads: Genesis 17:10 This^H2063 is My covenant,^H1285 which^H834 ye shall keep,^H8104 between^H996 Me and you and thy seed^H2233 after^H310 thee; Every^H3605 man child^H2145 among you shall be circumcised.^H4135   —>   This is My covenant=Just like it’s His Passover; man, His creation, has no right to change it or to break it, if we do, then there are consequences to pay: i.e., being cut off. Remember, His-story is about the seed-line through which He will be born in the flesh, it isn’t about any of the other races, otherwise known as the sixth day creation, who were created—not formed—on the day before Father rested, He looked—on His creation—and it was very good, and it was the sixth day Genesis 1:31. Adam—eth-Ha-Adam, the man Adam—wasn’t formed until the day after Father rested Genesis 2:1-8. Therefore, the covenant was with the Adamic seed-line, and didn’t fully start until Abram, then went to his son Isaac, not to Ishmael, nor to any of his other sons who he had with Keturah, or his other concubines. Father re-established it with Isaac, who passed it to his son Jacob, and it continued through Jacob’s seed-line: the twelve patriarchs: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph and Benjamin. [17:11] And ye shall circumcise^H4135 ^(H853) the flesh^H1320 of your foreskin;^H6190 and it shall be^H1961 a token^H226 of the covenant^H1285 betwixt^H996 Me and you.   —>   The covenant was made by Father to Abraham. [17:12] And he that is eight^H8083 days^H3117 old^H1121 shall be circumcised^H4135 among you, every^H3605 man child^H2145 in your generations,^H1755 he that is born^H3211 in the house,^H1004 or bought^H4736 with money^H3701 of any^H4480 ^H3605 stranger,^H1121 ^H5236 which^H834 is not^H3808 of thy seed.^H4480 ^H2233   —>   All the males born into the seed-line fell under the covenant, and therefore, had to be circumcised. Those brought in under Abraham’s roof, also had to partake of the circumcision, if they did not, they were not allowed to stay. [17:13] He that is born^H3211 in thy house,^H1004 and he that is bought^H4736 with thy money,^H3701 must needs be circumcised:^H4135 ^H4135 and My covenant^H1285 shall be^H1961 in your flesh^H1320 for an everlasting^H5769 covenant.^H1285   —>   If they agreed to be circumcised, they too fell under the covenant. [17:14] And the uncircumcised^H6189 man child^H2145 whose^H834 ^(H853) flesh^H1320 of his foreskin^H6190 is not^H3808 circumcised,^H4135 that^H1931 soul^H5315 shall be cut off^H3772 from his people;^H4480 ^H5971 he hath broken^H6565 ^(H853) My covenant.”^H1285   —>   Again, today the circumcision is of the heart, and is for both male and female. If any refuse to Love, Serve and Worship Father, they will be cut off. Though, Father is so loving toward us, that, this cutting off will not take place until the end of Jesus’ 1,000 year Millennium, when the Great White Throne Judgment takes place. Today, the only one named who is going to be cut off, is satan, and the seven thousand angels who refused to be born of the womb.

Exodus 12:45 A foreigner^H8453 and an hired servant^H7916 shall not^H3808 eat^H398 thereof.   —>   Foreigner=A foreigner is the same as a stranger: one who does not believe in Father or His Son, Jesus Christ, and therefore, refuses to follow His Commandments, Laws, Ordinances, and Statutes. This also puts them into the category of serving other, false gods.

Exodus 12:46 In one^H259 house^H1004 shall it be eaten;^H398 thou shalt not^H3808 carry forth^H3318 ought of^H4480 the flesh^H1320 abroad^H2351 out of^H4480 the house;^H1004 neither^H3808 shall ye break^H7665 a bone^H6106 thereof.   —>   This verse is the prophecy of the perfect sacrifice which could not, and, did not have, a broken bone; and this young lamb the Israelites were to partake of on this night, likewise also, could not have any broken bones. Just prior to giving up The Spirit, Jesus’ thigh was pierced, rather than his leg bones broken, as the two malfactors’ legs were. Jesus gave up the Spirit before it became necessary to break His body. For us today, we don’t carry it abroad, because our Holy Communion is sacred. We take the Communion Bread and Cup with respect and authority. Father Blesses those who take the Communion Table in proper manner.

Exodus 12:47 All^H3605 the congregation^H5712 of Israel^H3478 shall keep^H6213 it.   —>   From the youngest to the eldest, the entire assembly was to partake of and keep Father’s Passover. Today, the congregation of Israel is the many membered body of Christ, made up of all the believers. Father is commanding and demanding that you partake of His Passover, His Communion; and, if you are a believer, this is not given to you as a choice.

Exodus 12:48 And when^H3588 a stranger^H1616 shall sojourn^H1481 with^H854 thee, and will keep^H6213 the passover^H6453 to the LORD,^H3068 let all^H3605 his males^H2145 be circumcised,^H4135 and then^H227 let him come near^H7126 and keep^H6213 it; and he shall be^H1961 as one that is born in^H249 the land:^H776 for no uncircumcised person^H3808 ^H3605 ^H6189 shall eat^H398 thereof.   —>   When strangers come into you church house and are with you when you are about to partake of The Lord’s Table, and they understand and believe on the Lord just like you do; then, they also partake, just as you do. The circumcision is of the heart only, and today it is entirely Spiritual; and, not of the flesh. Therefore, it applies to both men and women alike, as it is dealing with the truth which is taken into your mind, and accepted, believed, and respected by that person. When you believe the Truth, the Word of God, and allow His Word to lead you in your life; then you are circumcised in your mind and required to partake of the Communion Table. You show your obedience to Father, and His only begotten Son, Jesus the Christ.

Exodus 12:49 One^H259 law^H8451 shall be^H1961 to him that is homeborn,^H249 and unto the stranger^H1616 that sojourneth^H1481 among^H8432 you.”   —>   This Law here, concerns the Law of Passover, and when those who now are believers join with you, they then likewise also fall under Father’s Law. There is not one law for you, and a different law for them. Just as when a man leaves his parents for a woman, and a woman leaves her parents for a man, the two then be twain together and are one.

There is another set of Father’s Law,s which, like the Law concerning Father’s Passover; these laws too are observed for the us and the stranger who lives with us. But, sadly, today, we have corrupted; those are His Commandments, His Laws, His Ordinances, and His Statutes, even to the point, that people barely recognize them anymore. We have people who believe that committing murder, i.e., aborting a fetus in the womb, is OK, who say that two man and/or two women can be married, who refuse to follow His Law concerning the murderer by sending them back Home to Him; but, instead, require the country to pay for them for the rest of their lives, while they live in comfort in a prison, just shy of luxury.

Exodus 12:50 Thus did^H6213 all^H3605 the children^H1121 of Israel;^H3478 as the LORD^H3068 commanded^H6680 ^(H853) Moses^H4872 and Aaron,^H175 so^H3651 did^H6213 they.   —>   Thus did=Did you read that. They were not just hearers; no, they were doers also; and, likewise, we too must be doers, for, our works do follow us, and it is our Works which make up our fine linen as can be read in Revelation 14:13, which reads: Revelation 14:13 And^G2532 I heard^G191 a voice^G5456 from^G1537 heaven^G3772 saying^G3004 unto me,^G3427 “Write,^G1125 ‘Blessed^G3107 are the^G3588 dead^G3498 which die^G599 in^G1722 the Lord^G2962 from henceforth:^G534 Yea,^G3483 saith^G3004 the^G3588 Spirit,^G4151 that^G2443 they may rest^G373 from^G1537 their^G848 labours;^G2873 and^G1161 their^G848 works^G2041 do follow^G190 ^(G3326) them.’x”^G846   —>   Father doesn’t like laziness. We all have work to do, even when we return Home to Him in Heaven. For now though, our righteousness, or equitable deeds, are what will clothe us, we can read this in Revelation 19:8: Revelation 19:8 And^G2532 to her^G846 was granted^G1325 that^G2443 she should be arrayed^G4016 in fine linen,^G1039 clean^G2513 and^G2532 white:^G2986 for^G1063 the^G3588 fine linen^G1039 is^G2076 the^G3588 righteousness^G1345 of saints.^G40.

12:51-13:2 Fulfillment of prophesy.

Exodus 12:51 And it came to pass^H1961 the selfsame^H2088 ^H6106 day,^H3117 that the LORD^H3068 did bring^H3318 ^(H853) the children^H1121 of Israel^H3478 out of the land^H4480 ^H776 of Egypt^H4714 by^H5921 their armies.^H6635   —>   …that self same day…=This was the fifteenth day after the Spring Vernal Equinox, and Father brought our forefathers out of their captivity. They were prepared to move out quickly, and they went out far richer than when they entered into Egypt. Father brought them out by their hosts, for they did not have an army at this time. The hosts, means, their families, their congregation. This entire chapter has been a lesson teaching us a lesson which happened some thirty five hundred years ago, which would allow us to understand all the prophecies which dealt with our Lord Jesus Christ, coming to earth to be our perfect Sacrifice for the remission of our sins.

Father forewarned our forefathers of exactly what He would do, before He brought those plagues to pass. Then, as the plagues came down on the land of Egypt, Father protected each and every child of Israel through those times of trial. As we read of these events, and saw the protection of Father’s People, it should give each of us comfort to know that this same Father will protect His own today, just as He did in the time of Moses. Even to the time of Jesus’ crucifixion on the cross, Jesus and His disciples took the Passover, but on that night before Jesus’ death, He established the New Covenant with us, and that Covenant is established in the Communion Table.
