Is Jesus Real
Yes God was among us in the flesh as His only begotten Son; Jesus. There is far too much evidence
for this to be anything but true. Consider this for a moment: in Genesis 1:26 God said "let Us make man in Our image." Meaning He so loved us that He said to us, you don't have to do this alone, I too will be born of woman and walk in the flesh. Not only that but, His love for us was so deep that He, in His plan from the "foundation of the world" was to go to that cross for us to redeem us of our sins so that we might live again with Him. Man cannot fathom a love so deep.
Let's look at our word "image" for a moment. In Hebrews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds; Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as He hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said He at any time, "Thou art My Son, this day have I begotten thee?" And again, "I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son?" Our word "image" as used in verse 3, is from the Greek word "charakter pronounced 'khar-ak-tar'" and means- a graver (the tool or the person,) that is, (by implication engraving (["character,"] the figure stamped, that is, an exact copy or [figuratively] representation): - express image.
Did you realize that Jesus was on this earth at least three times before He was born in the flesh? He IS the "Tree of Life" and as such He was in the Garden of Eden with Father, Adam and Eve and also satan (tree of knowledge of good and evil); He "brought forth bread and wine" and received tithes as Melchizedek in Genesis 14:18-20. Genesis 14:18 ("And Melchizedek King of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the MOST HIGH GOD. And he blessed him, and said, "Blessed be Abram of the MOST HIGH GOD, possessor of heaven and earth: And blessed be the MOST HIGH GOD, Which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand." And he gave him tithes of all.) And He walked with Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah the three Hebrew children better known as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego in the Book of Daniel. Daniel 3:19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego: Therefore he spake' and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, "Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?" They answered and said unto the king, "True, O king." He answered and said, "Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the son of God." Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, ye servants of the Most High God, come forth, and come hither." Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, came forth of the midst of the fire. And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, "Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, Who hath sent His angel, and delivered His servants that trusted in Him, they have changed the king's word and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship and god, except their own God.
We already discussed in "Is God Real" - "What does He look like" concerning what God looks like, as to what Jesus looked like.
