*                 Genesis 2

With Genesis 1 behind us, we now continue with the Second Chapter in the First Book of Moses: Genesis 2. This Chapter also is majorly needed for our foundational base of understanding Father's Word in its entirety.

We left off in Genesis 1:31 with Father creating all the Races on the SIXTH DAY. These people as we learned; were\are the angles from heaven and had been with Father, and Father had "asked them IF they would be born in the flesh." Now, these Races of people also would NOT be the LINE THROUGH WHICH FATHER HIMSELF WOULD COME IN THE FLESH as; THAT WOULD BE THROUGH A DIFFERENT SEEDLINE. This LINE we will read of today. So, picking it up then in Genesis 2, let's go to verse 1.

With that introduction being said, let's go to Father and ask Him for His Blessings on our Study of His Word: "Father, we come to you right now to thank you for inviting us to Your table in order that we might be able to partake of and receive Your Spiritual Meat, and Father, as we prepare to dine on the sustenance which sustains our inner man, we ask that You Oh LORD open our ears and eyes, that we might be able to hear and see your Truths, open our hearts and minds and prepare us in order that we may receive Your Truth. We Pray for Your Understanding of Your Word, we seek Your Knowledge in Your Word and most importantly Father, we Pray for and desire Your Wisdom from Your Word, in Jesus' Precious name we Pray, thank You Father, Amen."

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.   ->   Heaven and earth are created, Father's Wisdom is there and now, The Sons of God (all of us {everybody except some of the 6th day Created man} masculine in our Spiritual bodies in the First Earth age) Are there in heaven with Him waiting to be born of the flesh. Each soul having the "free-will" to choose to be born or not. The SIXTH DAY Creation of man is now populating the earth in this the Flesh Age, these people also in the flesh have "free-will" to choose whether they will Love Father or not. If they choose "to be born in the flesh;" they will eventually be able to be with Him during the final Earth Age which lasts for an eternity (Always was - Always will be) if they pass Father's test at the end of this Flesh Age, and if they pass the test at the end of Christ's 1,000 year Millennial Reign. If they choose "no they will NOT be born in the flesh," they will NOT be given the opportunity to learn the Truth during the Millennium they will go into the Lake of Fire at the very moment of Christ's return for His Second Advent. We will see when we come to Genesis 6, that there were some who chose NOT TO BE BORN in the flesh; but, instead, saw flesh women and came to mate with them.

This opportunity though is NOT a "second or third" chance, as man in the flesh either has their eyes closed BY FATHER for their own protection; or, because they have listened to "man" and NOT Father.

The word "host" as used here in this verse in the Strong's Concordance is Hebrew word number H6635, - צבא, צבאה, - tsâbâ', or tsebâ'âh,, pronounced - tsaw-baw', or tseb-aw-aw', and means: From H6633; a mass of persons (or figurative things), especially regularly organized for war (an army); by implication a campaign, literally or figuratively (specifically hardship, worship): - appointed time, (+) army, (+) battle, company, host, service, soldiers, waiting upon, war (-fare)., in other words, it shows a binding unity within each race of people, and also used for an army.

Either way, Father is now complete with His creating of the days: days One through Six.

Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.   ->    Father has completed His "Work" creating all the plant and animal life and all the races of man. Man was last in the line of creating; man also was given dominion over all plant and animal life.

If we were to go and find the "book of the Sanhedrin, viii, 7" from the Second Century A.D., we could read the question in that book: "Why was man created last?" The answer in the Book, would also read: "That the heretics might not say there was a companion with Him in the "Work," i.e., that man should not have claim to share with Him.", in other words, "so that no man could then claim that he assisted Father ELOHIM in His creative process."

So, now the creative process of the first six days is complete; and Father stopped creating at the end of the sixth day. II Peter 3:8 tells us that "...One day with the LORD is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day." Then as we read in this verse, "...on the seventh day, God rested from all His work." The seventh day "rest" was and is created for "man" NOT Father as; Father doesn't need a rest.

The number "six" in Biblical Numerics is the number for "Man." And I should have mentioned in the Study of Chapter Genesis 1, that the number "four" in Biblical Numerics is "earth" as in "North, South, East and West;" the "four winds" and such.

Genesis 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made.   ->   In Genesis 1:1-2, God had created the heaven and the earth and then destroyed the earth making it a void wasteful place, and then He again rejuvenated His earth. After He created man, the plants and animals, He told man to replenish (or repopulate it) the earth. So, now He blesses the seventh day and creates it as a rest day for man.

2:4-25 BEFORE the fall. Man in probation.
2:2-25 MAN BEFORE THE FALL. (Introversion and Extended Alternation.)
2:4 The earth for man and woman.

Genesis 2:4 These are THE GENERATIONS OF THE HEAVENS AND OF THE EARTH when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens.   ->   The word "generations" as used here in this verse is, in the Strong's Concordance, Hebrew word number H8435, - תּולדה, or תּלדה, - tôledâh, or tôledâh, pronounced to-led-aw', or to-led-aw', and means: From H3205; (plural only) descent, that is, family; (figuratively) history: - birth, generations..

Now, let's look at H3205, - ילד, - yâlad, pronounced yaw-lad', and means: A primitive root; to bear young; causatively to beget; medically to act as midwife; specifically to show lineage: - bear, beget, birth ([-day]), born, (make to) bring forth (children, young), bring up, calve, child, come, be delivered (of a child), time of delivery, gender, hatch, labour, (do the office of a) midwife, declare pedigrees, be the son of, (woman in, woman that) travail (-eth, -ing woman).; so, what this verse is telling us is that Father's offspring are "The Sons of God the Angels who are also flesh man IF they chose to be born in the flesh."

2:5 The earth for man and woman.
2:5 For the ground, no man.

Genesis 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.   ->   Every plant; herb; animal; and man, was created before they were placed upon the earth. They were all created for the earth; but, they also were created before they were placed upon the earth. All the races were created on the sixth day; but, Father had not yet created a farmer to till the ground.

It is IMPORTANT to understand what this phrase "to till the ground" means: it means to prepare the soil to receive "Good Seed" both Spiritually and Physically (human body). We can find both of these laid out in a Parable by our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 13. You can read it here: Matthew 13. It is a very in-depth study, BUT Necessary to understanding Father's Word, and remember it is Jesus Christ teaching, not a man.

2:6 The ground and vegetable creation.

Genesis 2:6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.   ->   It is only now that the plants and herbs can grow, AFTER they are watered. Same with man ONLY AFTER Receiving The Living Waters can we Live and Grow. It is Jesus Who is The Living Waters and without Him we have NO LIFE.

2:7 The formation of man.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.   ->   Father created all things on the first six days of creation of this earth age; then, on the seventh day He rested. This, then, is now the day after the seventh day, which we'll call the EIGHTH DAY. What does Father do on the EIGHTH Day? He forms another man which we'll call the EIGHTH Day Created man. I'll explain this in a minute; but, first: Let's look at three different words that Father's used in "making," "creating" and "forming" man. Since we are here in Genesis 2:7, we'll go in reverse order, starting with the word "formed." In the Strong's Concordance, it is Hebrew word number H3335, - יצר, - yâtsar, pronounced - yaw-tsar', and means: probably identical with H3334 (through the squeezing into shape); (compare H3331); to mould into a form; especially as a potter; figuratively to determine (that is, form a resolution): -  X earthen, fashion, form, frame, make (-r), potter, purpose., did you read that? "Like a potter forming clay" as can be read in Isaiah 64:8.

Next we have "created" from Genesis 1:27 and in the Strong's Concordance, it is Hebrew word number H1254, - בּרא, - bârâ', pronounced - baw-raw', and means: A primitive root; (absolutely) to create; (qualified) to cut down (a wood), select, feed (as formative processes): - choose, create (creator), cut down, dispatch, do, make (fat).so; in other words, to select, to choose, or to create.

The third word in this process is the word "make" from Genesis 1:26 and in the Strong's Concordance, it is Hebrew word number H6213, - עשׂה, - ‛âśâh, pronounced - aw-saw', and means: A primitive root; to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application: - accomplish, advance, appoint, apt, be at, become, bear, bestow, bring forth, bruise, be busy, X certainly, have the charge of, commit, deal (with), deck, + displease, do, (ready) dress (-ed), (put in) execute (-ion), exercise, fashion, + feast, [fight-] ing man, + finish, fit, fly, follow, fulfil, furnish, gather, get, go about, govern, grant, great, + hinder, hold ([a feast]), X indeed, + be industrious, + journey, keep, labour, maintain, make, be meet, observe, be occupied, offer, + officer, pare, bring (come) to pass, perform, practise, prepare, procure, provide, put, requite, X sacrifice, serve, set, shew, X sin, spend, X surely, take, X thoroughly, trim, X very, + vex, be [warr-] ior, work (-man), yield, use., to bring forth, to fashion.

Now, something else we HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION TO is the word "MAN." We learned in the last lesson during the covering of verses Genesis 1:26-27 that the word meant Ruddy and was used for mankind in general; however, here in this verse, IN THE HEBREW MANUSCRIPTS and the MASSORETIC TEXTS WHICH RECORD AND LOCK IN THE SCRIPURES, written by Ezra and Nehemiah, it is recorded that the word "man" as used in this verse is punctuated and highlighted and written "ETH-HA-ADHAM" or in the English language "THE MAN ADAM" referring to this particular man, named Adam not the Sixth Day created man. IT IS THIS PARTICULAR MAN ADAM (AND HIS OFFSPRING), THROUGH WHICH FATHER WILL BECOME FLESH. This man and his offspring ARE NOT TO MIX with the Sixth Day Created man This seedline has to, and needs to stay PURE in order to keep the genealogy straight.

Matthew 1:1-17, and Luke 3:23-38 both give us our documentation that this is true, and did come to pass. Paul states in I Corinthians 15:21-23 that sin came into the world by the first Adam (man); however, by and through the second Adam (Jesus Christ) all shall be made alive. Jesus is the first fruits (to come out of the grave to everlasting life), and then "they that are Jesus' at His coming." There was death by the first Adam, and salvation by Christ Himself The Second Adam.

Notice also, and pay attention to, the fact in Genesis 1:26-27 that Father created both male and female. Here, He only at first "forms" the male and NOT the female, not yet anyway.

Also pay attention to, and think about this: IF we all descended from Adam and Eve, shouldn't\wouldn't we all have common\matching DNA?

2:8 The Garden.

Genesis 2:8 (And the LORD God planted a garden Eastward in Eden; and there He put the man whom He had formed.   ->   It is here, in this garden of "Paradise" that Father put The Man The Seed Line though which He Himself would come. As Paul tells us in Acts 10:34, father is not a respector of persons; however, He needed to keep this line separate, in order for them to stay pure. He COULD NOT be born of a tainted seed line. Remember, He is YHVH and He knows what is going to happen in the future what man, even this seed line would\will do.

2:9 The Trees.

Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; The Tree of Life also in the midst of the Garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.   ->   This verse is a Very Important verse, and once again, we have to pay very close attention to what is being said.

First, this garden is a very special garden, because it is where Father walks, and has a very close relationship with, this particular line of peoples. This is NOT to say that he didn't walk and talk with all the races of the Sixth Day Creation, it is just that; again, this is the line through which He will come in the flesh.

Secondly, Father uses "trees" to describe Himself in Hosea 14:8, and also to "symbolically" describe man.Off subject for a moment; BUT, not too far offQuestion for you: ACCORDING TO FATHER'S WORD, how many times (if any) did Jesus Christ walk this earth, in this age, BEFORE BEING BORN IN THE FLESH by His mother Mary? Answer: At least three (1) In the Garden of Eden (which we'll discover here, here in a second); (2) In Genesis 14:18-20 (as Melchizedek Who He IS, and received tithes of Abram first offering Abram bread and wine {The Communion Sacraments}); and (3) In Daniel 3:23-28 (when He walked with, and protected, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego).

So then, returning to where we were... Think of your body, our main portion is referred to as the "trunk," this is for a reason, likewise also our arms and legs are called limbs.

With this thought in mind, let's look at these two trees which are mentioned in verse v2:9: The Tree of Life IS JESUS CHRIST ALWAYS WAS ALWAYS WILL BE, he was taken away from man in the Garden of Eden; in Genesis 4, and in the Book of Revelation, Chapter Revelation 22, He will be returned to man.

The tree of knowledge of good and evil is satan again, always was (after he fell) and always will be. Father proves that to us, as we'll see here in this chapter in verse v2:17 and also, if we read Ezekiel 31 with knowledge and understanding. There he is referred to as "The Assyrian," a tree that is higher than all the other trees this was satan in his position AS THE PROTECTOR OF FATHER'S MERCY SEAT.

2:10- 14 The Rivers.

Genesis 2:10 A river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

Genesis 2:11 The name of the first is Pison (pee-shone'): that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah (khav-ee-law'), where there is gold;   ->   The "Pison River" is a river west of the Euphrates called, "Pallukat," it is in the region of "Nabonidos, or the Pallakopas Canal." The river Pallukat, or Pison, at the time encircled the northern borders of the great Sandy desert, which stretched westward to the Mountain chain of Midian and the Siani.

The land of "Havilah" was known as the region of the sand, as recorded in Genesis 25:18. "Shur" would be the border on the east end of "Havilah."

Genesis 2:12 And the gold of that land is good: there is Bdellium (bed-o'-lakh) and the onyx (sho'-ham) stone.   ->   Bdellium quite possibly was "pearl," whereas, the onyx was probably beryl, due to it's pale green color.

Genesis 2:13 And the name of the second river is Gihon (ghee-khone'): the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia (koosh).   ->   The "Gihon" is the second river of Paradise, and one of the four rivers of Eden, it is also a river east of the Tigris in Iraq of today.

The supplier to the river is the modern "Kerkhah," and in ancient times it was known as "Khoases;" rising in the Mountains of Kassi. "Kas" has long been confused in the Hebrew with "Cush." It is not in the land of Cush, or Ethiopia of Africa, but the Acadian "Kas."

Genesis 2:14 The name of the third river is Hiddekel (Khid-deh'-kel): that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the forth is the river Euphrates (per-awth').   ->  The "Hiddekel" is the Acadian name for the "Tigrus" river which was called "Idiqla," and means "encircling." The Assyria of this verse is not the country of Assyria that in the future will overthrow the "House of Israel the Ten Northern Tribes;" but, comes from the Hebrew name "Hashshur" (Asshur), a primitive capital of Assyria, a city destroyed centuries prior to Abraham's time.

The river "Euphrates" gets its name from the Greeks. They named it in the Forth Century before Christ, during the reign of Alexander the Great. Its original name was "Ufratu," from the old Persians. This is why most people fix the original Garden of Eden in Iraq.

2:15 The Garden.

Genesis 2:15 The LORD God took the man, and put him in the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.)   ->   Father didn't take "just any of His creation," He took The Farmer The Man Adham ("'eth-hā'ādhām") and put him in this special Garden of Paradise in order to keep this line separate, and to also give this line the finest of things.

2:16 The Trees.

Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the Garden thou mayest freely eat:   ->   Father is telling Adam ("‘eth-hā’ādhām") that he may eat the fruit (correctly applied\supplied) of every fruit tree for nourishment, and This Man may ALSO partake of Christ in which IS Life Man can have Life!

Notice there was a colon at the end of this verse, meaning there is a continuation of it into the next verse. There were no exceptions placed on The Man EXCEPT ONE, which we'll read of in the next verse:

2:17 The Trees.

Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in the day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."   ->   Here is the continuation and The Exception.

This tree IS SATAN, he is called the tree of knowledge of good and evil for several reasons: (1) he was good he was the protecting cherub, and then he fell; (2) since he was not (and never will be BORN IN THE FLESH) he has FULL KNOWLEDGE of what transpired in the first earth age, AND knows who was who who fell with him, and who stood on the side lines, and who stood WITH Father and fought against satan in the war that took place in that age; and (3) Father did not want satan supplying that or any of the other info of the age that was, to Adam; because, Father knew satan would pervert that information to his advantage.

Sadly, man's traditions have so distorted this verse; that, most Christians today believe it was an actual tree spoken of in fact, they will even tell you it was an "APPLE TREE." They do this in ignorance because they have not STUDIED Father's Word to take it back to the Original languages: the Hebrew, Chaldea or Aramaic to see what was actually meant by this.

The "trees" are symbols for people, and Father's Word has identified them. The three trees talked about in verses v2:16 and 17 are the (1) "knowledge" satan which was man's ruin; (2) The "cross" in which I Peter 2:24 sets the way for man's redemption; and (3) "The Tree of Life" which is Christ, and offers man's regeneration.

The phrase "...for in the day that thou eatest" gives us the key to understand man's physical span of life. For Peter tells us the key to this understanding in II Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.   ->   No man has ever exceeded; or, even made it to the thousand year period, not even Methuselah, who lived nine hundred sixty and nine years: "and he died" Genesis 5:27.

This is the verse that satan misquotes to Eve in the next Chapter, and when questioned by satan Eve likewise misquotes it back to satan. Father told Adam that the day he touches satan, "thou shalt surely die" Eve states "lest ye die." It was just a little "half truth;" however, satan takes it one step beyond in Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, "Ye shall not surely die:   ->   Then Eve believed Satan's lie. We will get deeper into this in the next chapter.

2:18 For the man, no woman.

Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him."   ->   Father knows that He needs to ensure the seedline remains Pure of the same from Adam and Eve. He also knows it will be better for Adam, if Adam has a partner to assist him.

How is Father going to "make," "create" or "form" this help meet? From Adam's "rib?" We'll see in verse v2:21 below.

2:19 The ground and animate creation.

Genesis 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called the living creature, that was the name thereof.   ->   These creatures that Father created and brought to Adam are what we would call "domestic animals" or, "farm animals." Father does things in a natural way, and the natural reason for Adam's ‘eth-hā’ādhām's, existence was to till the soil farming; so, we see the need for these animals existed.

So, now let's review the order of the creation of physical life on earth in this age to this point: First came the trees, the grass and plant life; this was followed by the fish and the fowl birds, on the fourth day.

Second in the order, Father created the beasts of the field or, the wild animals, this was on the fifth day.

Third in the order of creation; came man, both male and female, all the races except for Adam ‘eth-hā’ādhām, and this was done on the sixth day.

Fourth in the order of Father's creation was; the seventh day and the time for rest.

Fifth in the order of Father's creation; on the eighth day (or a time beyond) Father formed Adam ‘eth-hā’ādhām the Farmer to till the soil.

The last order of the creation to this point is the creation of all domestic animals, for the use by Adam, and his naming of them.

2:20 The ground and animate creation.
2:20-23 The formation of woman.

Genesis 2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.   ->    The Sixth Day created man had both, male and female, likewise also so do all the animals domesticated and non-domesticated but still no partner to assist Adam.

Genesis 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;   ->   Does a man have one less rib than woman? No, and even though this verse was TRANSLATED "rib" by the King James Translators, it is not rib in the original language. In the Strong's Concordance, it is Hebrew word number: H6763, - צלע, or צלעה, - tsêlâ‛, or tsal‛âh, pronounced - tsay-law', or tsal-aw', and means: From H6760; a rib (as CURVED), literally (of the body) or figuratively (of a door, that is, leaf); hence a side, literally (of a person) or figuratively (of an object or the sky, that is, quarter); architecturally a timber (especially floor or ceiling) or plank (single or collectively, that is, a flooring): - beem, board, chamber, corner, leaf, plank, rib, side (chamber).. Back when the King James 1611 version Bible was translated, the translators knew nothing about DNA; but, Father did. Now, today, WE too DO know about DNA and we also know there is a thing in DNA called the "Helical Chains;" or the "double Helix;" or, the "Helix Curve?" The translators didn't know how to describe what was written as to what Father did, and they did the best they could, and they wrote "rib."

Genesis 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made He a woman, and He brought her unto the man.   ->   Again, notice that verse v2:21 had a semi-colon and connects it with this verse (v2:22). This woman, Father made from the DNAHelical Chainfrom "The Man Adam" therefore she IS Different from the women He created on the Sixth Day. It is also therefore HOW He INTENDS to keep the seedline PURE for Him to become flesh. We will see a little later, that the woman, Eve sadly failed to stay pure.

Genesis 2:23 And Adam said, "This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."   ->   As all the Angels were and are "masculine," and there were no women in the world that was the First Earth Age for; all souls were the same in the First Earth Age, i.e., the same angelic body form that the angels have in this Earth Age, is the form that our souls had in the First Earth Age. There were no females, for all souls of that Age are referred to as "sons of God," or, in the masculine sense, by God.

It is my personal opinion, that Father took the stronger souls, and put them in the female bodies, because they can take a lot more pain than men, and can bear the pain of childbirth.

2:24 Man and woman for the earth.

Genesis 2:24 Therefore man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.   ->   How does and a MAN and a WOMAN become ONE FLESH? Though the fruit of intercourse THEIR OFFSPRING. The offspring is two made into one.

There is NO "Adam and Steve" here in this verse. Man and WIFE to procreate to bring forth ALL of the Angels which said "YES, I WILL BE BORN IN THE FLESH, OF THIS EARTH AGE." If wemancontinue to allow, or had Father allowed man in Sodom and Gomorrah, continue their evil ways of homosexuality, It was and IS AN ABOMINATION TO FATHER.

2:25 Man and woman for the eath.

Genesis 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.   ->   Of course they weren't ashamed, they had no reason to be ashamed at this point, they were exactly as Father had created them. There was no "good and evil" YET for; though Father had pointed out THAT TREE,the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evilthey had as yet, not partaken of IT. Oh, in the next Chapter they will meet the "serpent" of that tree, but, right now they had NOT, and therefore, there was no reason to be ashamed.

In order to get the full understanding what WILL take place in the Garden of Eden, you have to go into the Hebrew Text. That understanding has had a bearing on all of mankind, and even affects prophecy in these, the final days of this Generational Age. It requires a Strong's concordance which is numbered to the Hebrew dictionary. This will allow you to take the Hebrew words and concepts back to the prime root meaning. A Strong's Exhaustive concordance with Hebrew and Greek dictionary is probably the best study tool on the market today.

Also, the Companion Bible, which follows the King James 1611 edition, combined with the Massoretic text, compiled by Dr. C. D. Ginsburg from the ancient Massorah manuscripts, is by far the most superior and accurate of all versions on the market today. "The Companion Bible is not a New Translation, and it is not an amended translation; it is not even a commentary. By using the original text, it is giving you exactly what the words of the original text mean, the Bible itself becomes the interpreter of God's Word, and His Will.".

It is by the use of the Companion Bible, by Kregel publications, that we will continue our studies into these Scriptures.
