*                 II Kings 21

II Kings 20 closed pretty much putting king Yekh-iz-zee-yaw'-hoo in a bad light; now, don't get me wrong as; he did indeed majorly screw up in the last recorded Chapter in the Book of the kings which was dedicated to him; and the same in the Book of the Chronicles; but, let us not forget, Yekh-iz-zee-yaw'-hoo was one of Judah, and all Israel's greatest kings, some would even go so far as to say, even better than David and Solomon. He had more trust and confidence in Father than even king David, and those are some mighty high praises. It was also Yekh-iz-zee-yaw'-hoo who had re-opened Father's Temple and re-established and instituted the Passover, how the grandest Passover since the time of king Solomon earliest days, I mentioned a moment ago that the Book of the Chronicles cast him in a bad light at the end of his reign; but it was also in the same Book of the Chronicles where there are three whole Chapters dedicated to his conduct of the Passover.

And with Yekh-iz-zee-yaw'-hoo's returning Home to Father, we now turn to his successor, his son: Men-ash-sheh (Manasseh), Israel's most vile and evil king, worse even than king Ahab and Jeroboam. Men-ash-sheh was born three years after Father had granted Yekh-iz-zee-yaw'-hoo those extra 15 years of life, and it is perhaps the reason Yekh-iz-zee-yaw'-hoo named his son Men-ash-sheh; as, his name in Hebrew means: “forgetting,” and considering how Yekh-iz-zee-yaw'-hoo changed his life from good to bad, it just may be that once Father gave him those extra 15 years, he forgot all about his troubles; or maybe, just maybe, he forgot to continue to do good.

With that introduction being said, let's go to Father and ask Him for His Blessings on our Study of His Word: “Father, we come to you right now to thank you for inviting us to Your table in order that we might be able to partake of and receive Your Spiritual Meat, and Father, as we prepare to dine on the sustenance which sustains our inner man, we ask that You Oh LORD open our ears and eyes, that we might be able to hear and see your Truths, open our hearts and minds and prepare us in order that we may receive Your Truth. We Pray for Your Understanding of Your Word, we seek Your Knowledge in Your Word and most importantly Father, we Pray for and desire Your Wisdom from Your Word, in Jesus' Precious name we Pray, thank You Father, Amen.

II Kings 18:1-24:20 JUDAH.
   (Division.)
21:1-18 Manasseh
21:1-18 MANASSEH (Introversion)
21:1 Introduction. Ascension.

II Kings 21:1 Manasseh (causing to forget; or, forgetting) (men-ash-sheh') was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem (founded peaceful; or, the habitation of peace). And his mother's name was Hephzibah (my delight (is) in her; or, my delight in her) (khef-tsee' baw).   —>   Reigned fifty five years=Manasseh began his reign over Judah when he was 12 years old and he reigned longer than any other king in either Judah or Israel, and as such, he returned Home to Father when he was 67 years old. There were only two other kings of Judah who took the throne at a younger age: Joash, or Jehoash, the son of Ahaziah, who took the throne at the tender young age of 7, after the People had had enough of Athaliah, the Usurper queen who had slew all the seed-royalexcept for young Jehoash whom the Priests had hid awayin order to gain the throne; and Manasseh'syes, this Manasseh which we're reading of nowgrandson, Josiah, his son Amon's son, who'll take the throne at the age of 8.

Much will transpire, and there'll be many a dark day in the next fifty five years in Judah and Jerusalem. As I stated in my introduction, Manasseh will prove to be Judah and or Israel's most evil, vile king, he will completely close Father's Temple which his father had re-opened after it had been closed for many years; he'll remove all of Father's Altars and places of worship of Father, and instead build altars to the heathenistic pagan false gods, baal and molech being just two of such; he'll shed much blood in Jerusalem both by the worship of molech, i.e., sacrificing of children in fire, and also by murdering Father's Prophets who He sends to Jerusalem in order to try and get Manasseh and the People of the House of Judah to change their ways and come back to worshiping Him.

Hephzibah=As I pointed out while reading the verse; Hephzibah in the Hebrew language means “my delight is in her” and is prophesy of much happier time to come for Israel; though, not for many years. We read in Isaiah 62:4 of “Hephzibah” being the Bride of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ: Isaiah 62:4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. See below for the Description of Hephzibah.

Manasseh=First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H4519, - מנשּׁה, - menashsheh, pronounced - men-ash-sheh', and means: From H5382; causing to forget; Menashsheh, Thirteenth king of the House of Judah: - Manasseh.; and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “The thirteenth king of Judah, son of Hezekiah II Kings 20:21, ascended the throne at the age of twelve, and reigned 55 years. His accession was the signal for an entire change in the religious administration of the kingdom. Idolatry was again established to such an extent that every faith was tolerated but the old faith of Israel. The Babylonian alliance which the king formed against Assyria resulted in his being made prisoner and carried off to Babylon in the twenty-second year of his reign, according to a Jewish tradition. There his eyes were opened and he repented, and his prayer was heard and the Lord delivered him II Chronicles 33:12-13, and he returned after some uncertain interval of time to Jerusalem. The altar of the Lord was again restored, and peace offerings and thank offerings were sacrificed to Jehovah II Chronicles 38:15-16. But beyond this the reformation did not go. On his death, he was buried as Ahaz had been, not with the burial of a king, in the sepulchres of the house of David, but in the garden of Uzza II Kings 21:26, and long afterward, in suite of his repentance, the Jews held his name in abhorrence.”.

Jerusalem=First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find it is Hebrew word number: H3389, - ירוּשׁלם , or ירוּשׁלים , - Yerûshâlaim, or Yerûshâlayim pronounced - Yer-oo-shaw-lah'-im, or Yer-oo-shaw-lah'-yim , and means: A dual (in allusion to its two main hills (the true pointing, at least of the former reading, seems to be that of H3390)); probably from (the passive participle of) H3384 and H7999; founded peaceful; Jerushalaim or Jerushalem, the capital city of Palestine: - Jerusalem.. The description of Jerusalem in the Smith’s Bible Dictionary is extensive and too long to post here; so, I’ll instead just post the link to it: Jerusalem.

Hephzibah=First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H2657, - חפצי בּהּ, - chephtsı̂y bâhh, pronounced - khef-tsee' baw, and means: From H2656 with suffixes; my delight (is) in her; Cheptsibah, a fanciful name for Palestine: - Hephzi-bah., and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “A name signifying "my delight in her ," which is to be borne by the restored Jerusalem Isaiah 62:4. The queen of King Hezekiah and the mother of Manasseh II Kings 21:1..”

21:2-9 Events. Personal. Evil doing.

II Kings 21:2 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel (the prince that prevails with God; or, he will rule as God) (Yis-raw-ale’) (secondary map).   —>   evil=The word “evil” as used here is in the Hebrew, Ra'a' and means: the evil, especially of moral depravity and corruption, and lewdness.

Remember, Manasseh being only 12 years old when he ascended the throne was being led by elders who probably were not pleased with his father Yekh-iz-zee-yaw'-hoo's decision to change from his father's evil corruption, and now that Yekh-iz-zee-yaw'-hoo is no longer amongst the living, in contempt for what he did, and in contempt for Father, they instill their contempt for Father into the young king and quickly lead him back to the ways of idolatry, grove worship, sodomy, and all the other filth and religious forms, going even so far as to make it far worse than it had been before Yekh-iz-zee-yaw'-hoo had cleaned it up.

Israel=First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find it is Hebrew word number: H3478, - ישׂראל, - Yiśrâ'êl, pronounced - Yis-raw-ale', and means: From H8280 and H410; he will rule as God; Jisrael, a symbolical name of Jacob; also (typically) of his posterity: - Israel., and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: The description of Israel in the Smith’s Bible Dictionary is extensive and too long to post here; so, I’ll instead just post the link to it: Israel.

II Kings 21:3 For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah (strengthened of JAH; or, the might of YHVH) (Yekh-iz-kee-yaw'-hoo) his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab (brother (that is, friend) of (his) father; or, uncle) (akh-awb') king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.   —>   Just how far did these elders who were leading young Manasseh lead him into degeneracy? As bad as it had been in the territories of the House of Israel just prior to Father sending the king of Assyria to take them into captivity as can be read five Chapters ago, in II Kings 17. In all of its history to this point, the House of Judah had never before sank so low as to serve and worship the “host of heaven.” His worshiping of the “host of heaven” indicates that he was either worshiping the angels, or maybe the moon, the stars, the sun, and the constellations. Father had put the “lights” in the Firmament (Genesis 1:14) for signs and seasons for us; not for us to worship them.

What were the “groves” mentioned here in this verse? They were the “asherahgroves where the people fashioned and formed phallic symbols from the tree stumps, while the trees were standing upright in the ground, thus arousing the visual stimuli, and then they held orgies in those groves amongst the trees.

How bad was it? Think of today, right now in the year 2016, what is transpiring in the world and especially our Country, the United States of America? Under the democratic control, coördination, and corruption, with no attempt whatsoever by the “supposedly conservative” republican party to stop themwe have godless dishonesty including: blackmail, bribery and fraud, how else could the current democratic presidential candidate named hillary clinton commit all the crimes she has committed, even after being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation FBI and with the Director claiming that she indeed broke the law; however, they won't press or pursue charges; we have depravity including: debauchery, immorality and perversion, to where we murder our innocent children while they are still in their mother's womb; our "Educational" Facilitators teach our children in our schoolseven as young as Kindergartenersthat they can decide to be whatever sex they want to be, and the democrats have even passed laws which state that the parents are no longer allowed or able to seek counseling for their own child, we teach the children that any sex they desire to do is acceptable, etc.. Yeah brethren, we today are living in the same state of dissoluteness as our forefathers were during Manasseh's day, and as Paul told us to expect in II Timothy 3.

Hezekiah= First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H2396, - חזקיּה, חזקיּהוּ, יחזקיּה, or יחזקיּהוּ, - chizqı̂yâh, chizqı̂yâhu, yechizqı̂yâh, or yechizqı̂yâhû, pronounced - khiz-kee-yaw', khiz-kee-yaw'-hoo, yekh-iz-kee-yaw', yekh-iz-kee-yaw'-hoo, and means: From H2388 and H3050; strengthened of Jah; Chizkijah, a king of Judah, also the name of two other Israelites: - Hezekiah, Hizkiah, Hizkijah. Compare H3169., and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “Twelfth king of Judah, son of the apostate Ahaz and Abi or Abijah, ascended the throne at the age of 25. Hezekiah was one of the three most perfect kings of Judah II Kings 18:5; Sirach 49:4. His first act was to purge and repair and reopen with splendid sacrifices and perfect ceremonial the temple. He also destroyed a brazen serpent, said to have been the one used by Moses in the miraculous healing of the Israelites Numbers 21:9, which had become an object of adoration. When the kingdom of Israel had fallen, Hezekiah invited the scattered inhabitants to a peculiar passover, which was continued for the unprecedented period of fourteen days II Chronicles 29:30,31. At the head of a repentant and united people, Hezekiah ventured to assume the aggressive against the Philistines and in a series of victories not only rewon the cities which his father had lost II Chronicles 28:18, but even dispossessed them of their own cities except Gaza II Kings 18:8, and Gath. He refused to acknowledge the supremacy of Assyria II Kings 18:7. Instant war was imminent and Hezekiah used every available means to strengthen himself II Kings 20:20. It was probably at this dangerous crisis in his kingdom that we find him sick and sending for Isaiah, who prophesies death as the result II Kings 20:1. Hezekiah's prayer for longer life is heard. The prophet had hardly left the palace when he was ordered to return and promise the king immediate recovery and fifteen years more of life II Kings 20:4. An embassy coming from Babylon ostensibly to compliment Hezekiah on his convalescence, but really to form an alliance between the two powers, is favorably received by the king, who shows them the treasures which he had accumulated. For this Isaiah foretells the punishment that shall befall his house II Kings 20:17. The two invasions of Sennacherib occupy the greater part of the scripture records concerning the reign of Hezekiah. The first of these took place in the third year of Sennacherib, and occupies only three verses II Kings 18:13-16. Respecting the commencement of the second invasion we have full details in II Kings 18:7 seq.; II Chronicles 32:9 seq.; Isaiah 36:1 ... Sennacherib sent against Jerusalem an army under two officers and his cupbearer, the orator Rabshakeh, with a blasphemous and insulting summons to surrender; but Isaiah assures the king he need not fear, promising to disperse the enemy II Kings 19:6,7. Accordingly that night "the angel of the Lord went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred fourscore and five thousand." Hezekiah only lived to enjoy for about one year more his well-earned peace and glory. He slept with his fathers after a reign of twenty-nine years, in the 56th year of his age..”

Baal=From the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “The supreme male divinity of the Phoenician and Canaanitish nations, as Ashtoreth was their supreme female divinity. Some suppose Baal to correspond to the sun and Ashtoreth to the moon; others that Baal was Jupiter and Ashtoreth Venus. There can be no doubt of the very high antiquity of the worship of Baal. It prevailed in the time of Moses among the Moabites and Midianites Numbers 22:41, and through them spread to the Israelites Numbers 25:3-18; Deuteronomy 4:3. In the times of the kings it became the religion of the court and people of the ten tribes I Kings 16:31-33; 18:19,22, and appears never to have been permanently abolished among them II Kings 17:16. Temples were erected to Baal in Judah I Kings 16:32, and he was worshiped with much ceremony I Kings 18:19,26-28; II Kings 10:22. The attractiveness of this worship to the Jews undoubtedly grew out of its licentious character. We find this worship also in Phoenician colonies. The religion of the ancient British islands much resembled this ancient worship of Baal, and may have been derived from it. Nor need we hesitate to regard the Babylonian Bel Isaiah 46:1, or Beaus, as essentially identical with Baal, though perhaps under some modified form. The plural, BAALIM , is found frequently, showing that he was probably worshiped under different compounds, among which appear: BAAL-BERITH (the covenant Baal) Judges 8:33; 9:4, the god who comes into covenant with the worshipers; BAAL-ZEBUB (lord of the fly), and worshiped at Ekron II Kings 1:2,3,16; BAAL-HANAN. a. The name of one of the early kings of Edom Genesis 36:38,39; I Chronicles 1:49,50. b. The name of one of David's officers, who had the superintendence of his olive and sycamore plantations I Chronicles 27:28; BAAL-PEOR (lord of the opening, i.e. for others to join in the worship). We have already referred to the worship of this god. The narrative (Numbers 25) seems clearly to show that this form of Baal-worship was connected with licentious rites.”.

Ahab=First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H256, - אחאב, or אחב, - 'ach'âb, or 'echâb, pronounced - akh-awb', or ekh-awb', and means: The second form used once (by contraction) in Jer_29:22; from H251 and H1; brother (that is, friend) of (his) father; Achab, the name of a king of Israel and of a prophet at Babylon: - Ahab., and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “Son of Omri, seventh king of Israel. He married Jezebel, daughter of Ethbaal king of Tyre; and in obedience to her wishes, caused temple to be built to Baal in Samaria itself; and an oracular grove to be consecrated to Astarte, see I Kings 18:19. One of Ahab's chief tastes was for splendid architecture which he showed by building an ivory house and several cities. Desiring to add to his pleasure-grounds at Jezreel the vineyard of his neighbor Naboth, he proposed to buy it or give land in exchange for it; and when this was refused by Naboth in accordance with the Levitical law Leviticus 25:23, a false accusation of blasphemy was brought against him, and he was murdered, and Ahab took possession of the coveted fields II Kings 9:26. Thereupon Elijah declared that the entire extirpation of Ahab's house was the penalty appointed for his long course of wickedness. [ELIJAH] The execution, however, of the sentence was delayed in consequence of Ahab's deep repentance I Kings 21:1. ... Ahab undertook three campaigns against Ben-hadad II. king of Damascus, two defensive and one offensive. In the first Ben-hadad laid siege to Samaria, but was repulsed with great loss I Kings 20:1-21. Next year Ben-hadad again invaded Israel by way of Aphek, on the east of Jordan; yet Ahab's victory was so complete that Ben-hadad himself fell into his hands, but was released contrary to God's will I Kings 20:22-34, on condition of restoring the cities of Israel, and admitting Hebrew commissioners into Damascus. After this great success Ahab enjoyed peace for three years, when he attacked Ramoth in Gilead, on the east of Jordan, in conjunction with Jehoshaphat king of Judah, which town he claimed as belonging to Israel. Being told by the prophet Micaiah that he would fall, he disguised himself, but was slain by "a certain man who drew a bow at a venture." When buried in Samaria, the dogs licked up his blood as a servant was washing his chariot; a partial fulfillment of Elijah's prediction I Kings 21:19, which was more literally accomplished in the case of his son II Kings 9:26..”

II Kings 21:4 And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, “In Jerusalem will I put My name.”   —>   He built altars in the House of the LORD=Talk about foolish! What an abomination, an insult, and also a slap in Father's ELOAH'S face! How could anyone think they could replace His Altars in His House with their own false god altars and (1) not Anger Him?; oh, and that Anger was with a Capital “A,” and (2) get away with what they did? Talk about foolish!

In Jerusalem will I put My name=When did Father say this? When He first brought our forefathers up out of the hand of the Egyptians as can be read in Deuteronomy 12: Deuteronomy 12:10 But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when He giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety; [12:11] Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:.

Name=Here, used or put for, the metonymy of the person of Father Himself. A great example of this is Psalm 20 where we find it used three different ways in three different verses: Psalms 20:1 The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; The name of the God of Jacob defend thee;   —>   Here it is used as “The Defending Name;” then in verse v20:5 where we read: Psalms 20:5 We will rejoice in Thy salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners: The LORD fulfil all thy petitions.   —>   Here it is used as “the Displayed Name; and lastly in verse v20:7 where we read Psalms 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.   —>   Where it is used for “The Delivering Name.”

II Kings 21:5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.   —>   There were two Courts in the Temple: Inner Court was outside the Temple itself; but, before the Outer Court, it was the area where you would find the Altar of Burnt Offering, the laver for washing the offerings, and the Brazen Sea which the priests utilized to bathe themselves in preparation for serving Father.

II Kings 21:6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him to anger.   —>   Son=Though the 1611 KJV transcribers transcribed or, translated this “son” here in II Kings 21:6, we can read in II Chronicles 33:6 the more correct statement of “children.” It's sadand funny in a non-humorous waythat Men-ash-sheh's father Yekh-iz-zee-yaw'-hoo, pleaded with Father to allow him to live long enough to be able to bare children, or at least one child in order to have an heir; and now here, his son is sacrificing his children in the fire to the false god molech.

All this worshiping of other false gods goes back many years. Sadly, Solomon introduced a lot of it when he brought in his many foreign wives and concubines; however, this had been going on for many years even before Solomon, it goes back to the time of the Judges of Israel. We covered much of this extensively when we read I Kings 11, and I'll bring that in and we can go over it again to refresh our memories: II Kings 11:4: I Kings 11:4 For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.   —>   When Solomon was old=We know that during the first 20 years of Solomon's reignfrom age 19-39he was focused on Father, building the Temple and then his own house and the palatial complex; however, once all his building appetite was sated, then his lustful appetite took over and he no longer focused on Father as YHVH only. This was the true difference between Solomon and his father David. They both lusted after the flesh, David with, or for Bath-sheba, and now Solomon with, or for his 1,000 women, most of whom are foreign; however, David never turned from following, loving, serving and worshipping Father YHVH only, whereas, as we're reading, Solomon is. Brethren, there is nothing wrong with having outside interests and not focusing only on Father and His Word all the time, in fact, I encourage it as, it is healthy; however, with that being said, we should not put those interests before, or allow them to come between us and Father as, that is unhealthy and then becomes an idol. Let's find out who these lower case “g” gods were that Solomon allowed these women to bring into Israel with them: I Kings 11:5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth (a star) the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom (king; or great king) the abomination of the Ammonites.   —>   Though it has now been almost 100-150 years since Israel served these false gods, Solomon is now bringing them back into the Nation. It's funny, again, in a non-humorous wayhow these gods with the lower case “g” spell big trouble for Israel and any other of Father's children. Solomon's foreign wives brought with them the worship of Ashtoreth, the goddess of love and increase. They worshipped ashtoreth by having orgies. Read that as: free-for-all sex. And they worshipped Milcom, the arabic pronunciation Molech (addressed, called or identified as such in verse vI Kings 11:7), the fire god. They worshipped Molech how? By throwing their infant babies into the fire and burning them alive. Does this sound sort of familiar? It should, as it is exactly what many do in this country today: have free-for-all sex and then abort the babies when the women become pregnant. Ashoreth=First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H6253, - עשׁתּרת, - ‛ashtôreth, pronounced - ash-to'-reth, and means: Probably for H6251; Ashtoreth, the Phoenician goddess of love (and increase [fertility]): - Ashtoreth., and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “The principal female divinity of the Phoenicians, called Ishtar (known today all over the world as: easter) by the Assyrians and Astarte by the Greeks and Romans. She was by some ancient writers identified with the moon. But on the other hand the Assyrian Ishtar was not the moon-goddess, but the planet Venus; and Astarte was by many identified with the goddess Venus (or Aphrodite), as well as with the plant of that name. It is certain that the worship of Astarte became identified with that of Venus, and that this worship was connected with the most impure rites is apparent from the close connection of this goddess with ASHERAH I Kings 11:5,33; II Kings 23:13..” Milcom= First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H4445, - מלכּם , or מלכּום, - malkâm, or milkôm, pronounced - mal-kawm', or mil-kome' and means: From H4428 for H4432; Malcam or Milcom, the national idol of the Ammonites: - Malcham, Milcom.. The Smith’s Bible Dictionary refers us to Molech. Let's now look at H4432: H4432, - מלך, - môlek , pronounced - mo'-lek, and means: From H4427; Molek (that is, king), the chief deity of the Ammonites: - Molech. Compare H4445. The false god milcom was also known as Molech. Now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “The fire-god Molech was the tutelary deity of the children of Ammon, and essentially identical with the Moabitish Chemosh. Fire-gods appear to have been common to all the Canaanite, Syrian and Arab tribes, who worshipped the destructive element under an outward symbol, with the most inhuman rites. According to Jewish tradition, the image of Molech was of brass, hollow within, and was situated without Jerusalem. "His face was (that) of a calf, and his hands stretched forth like a man who opens his hands to receive (something) of his neighbor. And they kindled it with fire, and the priests took the babe and put it into the hands of Molech, and the babe gave up the ghost." Many instances of human sacrifices are found in ancient writers, which may be compared with the description of the Old Testament of the manner in which Molech was worshipped. Molech was the lord and master of the Ammonites; their country was his possession Jeremiah 49:1, as Moab was the heritage of Chemosh; the princes of the land were the princes of Malcham Jeremiah 49:3; Amos 1:15. His priests were men of rank Jeremiah 49:3, taking precedence of the princes. The priests of Molech, like those of other idols, were called Chemarim II Kings 23:5; Hosea 10:5; Zephaniah 1:4..” Abomination=The word used for an idol because of Father YHVH'S hatred which is produced by the act. I Kings 11:6 And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.   —>   Solomon did evil=Solomon did as his and our forefathers did right after the time of the Judge Gideon whom Father had sent to remove all the evil the Israelites had been doing. Sadly, as soon as Gideon died, our forefathers went right back to it, let's return and review what we had read back in Judges 8:33: Judges 8:32 And Gideon the son of Joash died in a good old age, and was buried in the sepulchre of Joash his father, in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.   —>   For being obedient to Father and removing all the forms of pagan worship, and the false gods and idols which went with that worship, Father blessed Gideon with a long life. [8:33] And it came to pass, as soon as Gideon was dead, that the children of Israel turned again, and went a whoring after Baalim, and made Baalberith their god.   —>   As soon as he was dead. These fools of our forefathers sure were sottish, they were almost chomping at the bit waiting for Gideon to die so they could turn away from Father and go back to whoring after baal. Let's see how else they were sottish. We saw when we read the Book of Judges that each time that a Father appointed Judge in Israel returned Home to Father; the people went right back into their former heathen worship practices that the Judge had led them out of. When Gideon died, they went back to make Baal-berith their god. What, or who was “baal-berith?” Let’s go to the Strong's and find out, we find that it is Hebrew word number: 1170, בּעל בּרית, - Ba'al Beriyth, pronounced - bah'-al-ath beh-ayr', and means: from 1168 and 1285; baal of (the) covenant, Baal Berith, a special deity of the Shechemites: Baal berith.. Now let's take it back to Strong's number 1168, - בּעל, - ba‛al, pronounced - bah'-al, and means: The same as H1167; Baal, a Phoenician deity: - Baal, [plural] Baalim.. Now let's look at Hebrew word number H1285, - בּרית, - berı̂yth, pronounced - ber-eeth' and means: From H1262 (in the sense of cutting (like H1254)); a compact (because made by passing between pieces of flesh): - confederacy, [con-]feder[-ate], covenant, league.. So, in other words, wherever baal worship exists; the groves are mentioned, as well as this word "Asherah." As we learned already, the asherah was where they carved the trees into phallic symbols in the groves and held their orgies. What we saw in Judges was that all the times that baal, asherah and groves were used in the form of worship, they were all tied together and not separated and that was for a reason. It deals with a tree with the tops cut off, and the trunk or stump fashioned into a certain shape. We learn in Deuteronomy 16 that the Israelites were not to be like the heathen and worship as they. Let's trace this all the way back to get the full understanding of it: Deuteronomy 16:21 Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the Lord thy God, which thou shalt make thee.   —>   When we take the word "grove" back into the Hebrew, here again we see the word "asherah." This is not talking about just planting trees, but what you make of the trees once they have grown to maturity. It deals with how you shape the trees, and what those shapes are symbols of and represent. We already know they shaped the asherah into phallic symbols, but let's continue tracing this back. These shaped tree stumps were set erect, into the ground. We learn, when we go to the Book of Isaiah that this was going on as well: Isaiah 17:8 And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves or the images.   —>   Once again, we see the groves and the images are tied together. Likewise again, the Hebrew text refers to the groves as "asherah," and the images this time; to the "sun." Again, these groves of shaped tree trunks were set erect in the ground. They were made of wood or sometimes the images were shaped from stone. This is why Gideon was able to cut down those groves, as we read in Judges 6:26-32, where Gideon got his name Jerubbaal the “The cutter down.” He also followed the command of Father to build an altar to Father and worship Him; that was fine. But later, without Father's command he built the war memorial and also took the gold earrings and erected an image the ephod. Continuing our tracing this back, we next find this “asherah” of a living tree coupled with “Mazzeroth” or “pillars of stone,” it is connected directly to baal-worship. The male part called “asherah” is distinguished from the female part called the “ashtoreth the female goddess, yet the images are worshipped together. The Ashtoreth being representative of the productive (or passive) principle of life; and baal being representative of the generative (or active) part of the process for producing life. In other words this is using the sexual process in a form of worship, and the shaping of the trunks of trees as the idols and images to excite the worshippers into the practice, and God hates the practice. Pillars of stone; or, Stones of worship=In baal and asherah worship, are set up all over the Semitic world today; even in Arabia. We also find, even the Mohammedan sacred stone, the “ kaaba” which is in Mecca, remains an object of reverence. Like every form of religion, the stones and tree trunks have to do with the “flesh,” and then we also have the law of “evolution.” Evolution is seen as the progress of man's works, because he considers himself to have begun in the simplest form - in ignorance, and through the development and learning process of mistakes and failures, achieve to the point he is today. We read in Isaiah 57 this: Isaiah 57:6 Among the smooth stones of the stream is thy portion; they, they are thy lot: even to them hast thou poured a drink offering, thou hast offered a meat offering. Should I receive comfort in these?   —>   When you see the phrase "smooth stones" know that smooth stones were used for "lots, to apportion or separate" it forms the Greek word for "Stigma," and it should be a warning to us. (1) it separates us from Father and (2) it comes from the number 6-6-6, which has nothing to do with an actual number, but to the word stigma, which is the counting of stones worn smooth over a long period of time. The stones are the number for a man, and that man is satan, and when you know satan, you will know his children. This verse is addressing the identity of the kenites. These were written as examples to the generation of the end times, and we today are living in those times. The drink offerings and meat offerings in this verse are those things that you use in your worship service, to seek forgiveness for your sins, and as love offerings to Father. Today most churches have allowed the kenite traditions (the smooth stones of the stream) and their lot or traditions to become the drink offering and meat offering to Father. And He is asking, "Should I receive comfort in these?" [57:7] Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifices. [57:8] Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to another than Me, and art gone up; thou shat enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.   —>   This bed is not something that you sleep in, it represents something quite religious. Today instead of painting the door outside and over the top with the Lamb's blood, which is to say the blood of Jesus Christ who became our Passover, Christians paint a substitute for the blood on the inside of the door post of their hearts. The Lamb's blood forces satan the death angel to pass over you, and when something other than the blood is on the inside (which is behind the doors and the posts), it means that they have turned back to heathenism. The word for bed in the Hebrew text is “mish-kawb,” meaning a “couch,” a place for “sexual joining.” What it is then saying is that you enjoy the heathen religious experiences, and you have not saved yourself as a virgin for me, but you have given yourself over to another. This is exactly what Jesus taught in Matthew 24:19 which reads: Matthew 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days.   —>   Jesus expects you to be one of the virgins that remained true to Him, spiritually speaking, right up to the moment of His return. When you have given yourself over to the first Christ, satan the antichrist, then you have gone whoring and are "with child" from satan. The subject of this verse is the word “bed;” so, let's take this word back to its prime root meaning: in the Strong's Concordance, it is Hebrew word number: H4904, - משׁכּב, - Mishkab, pronounced - mish-kawb', and means; from 4901, a bed (fig. a bier) abstr. sleep, by euphem, carnal intercourse: bed [chamber] couch, lying with.. Let's continue with H4901, - משׁך, - Meshek, pronounced - Meh'-shek and means, from 4900, a sowing; also a possession: precious price.. Let's now go to the prime for this word “bed” to see what Father is talking about in Isaiah 57:7-8, it is Hebrew word number H4900, - משׁך, - Mashak, pronounced - maw-shak' and means: A prime root; to draw, used in a great variety of applications, (including to sow, to sound, to prolong, to develop, to march, to remove to delay, etc.): -draw (along out), continue, extend.. The “covenant” that Father is referring to here in Isaiah 57:8, is a “marriage contract” which you have made with satan, when you are lying in his bed, and doing the work of his world system to draw others to him. Father is saying “thou lovest their bed,” or you like to crawl into satan's bed and do his work. “Where thou lovest it” is “when you saw satan's manhood.” When satan's system beckons to you; in ignorance you will be drawn to him joyfully, because your church house is training you right now, to do so. Christians are supposed to be “the bride of Christ,” however most of them don't know how to identify their husband when He does arrive, sure, they say right now they do, or “they know His voice” but sadly, they will be deceived by the false who comes first. And then when the True comes, He'll say, “get away from me I never knew you.” Symbols mean everything in religious form, and the Asherah, or the “phallus” became the symbol for the baal worship. What started out to be the honoring of the origin of life, became corrupted into a form of worshipping the organs which produce the life. These symbols then in turn, became the incentive to all forms of impurity, which in time turned into nothing but sexual orgies. The start of these principle forms started in the ancient Canaanite religions, which originated way back in Nimrod's day, who was the grandson of Ham, the son of Noah. Ham had four sons and their names were Cush, and Mizraim, Phut, and Canaan. Genesis 10:8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. [10:9] He was a mighty hunter before the Lord: wherefore it is said, "Even as Nimrud the might hunter before the Lord.   —>   It is from Ham's son Canaan, that the Canaanites came: and the one to first give form to the “one world religious order” was Cush's son Nimrod. This family of Canaanites is where the development of baal and ashtoreth took hold and spread. It spread over the entire face of the earth when Nimrod's kingdom was split when Father confused the people with different languages after they built the “tower of Babel.” In that ancient Semerian religion, Nimrud was the male form, and believed to have become the sun. Nimrod's wife Semiremis, took on the goddess form after her death, that at first she was called Shamash. Then she universally took on the name of Ishtar, as well as other forms such as Diana of Corinth in the time of Paul. Every ancient system of idolatry is connected with astrology and etc., these were not something that was new, but a twisting and corrupting of what was old, and accepted from the early days of the Canaanites. There can be no doubt about the origin of all “Phallic” worship, pure and simple, for this abomination was common to all the ancient nations, and relics from all over the world are found which prove this fact. What first started by the Canaanites in the world system of Nimrod, spread when Father scattered the people at the tower of Babel. Genesis 11:4 And they said, “Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.”   —>   In the Hebrew text this “let us make us a great name,” reads, “let us provide our own salvation.” These same people lived to hear and remember from those that went through the great flood of Noah's day. All of the souls that went through the flood were alive in the day that Nimrod was setting up this new world order. They were banded together to keep from being spread abroad. They also knew that Father had made a covenant with Noah that mankind would never be destroyed by flood waters again. However, they did not believe Father, nor did they trust Him. They knew of Nimrod's strength, and the people relied on him for their security. They trusted Nimrod. In the 1930's Hitler and the Nazi's rose to power under the same conditions, protection, security, law and order. The Germans also had faith in Hitler to bring them peace and prosperity, however they did not consider the cost, sounds like our current occupier of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. In the phrase "a name" shows that the people desired their independence from God. [11:5] And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.   —>   Father has stated in His Word what man has to do to be saved, however, man continues to try even to this day to build his towers in order to reach his own false peace and salvation. Man tries to move to bypass the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, and His shed blood on the cross. They have rejected Father's plan and instead substituted their own man made forms of religions. The term "come down" in the Hebrew is "anthropopatheia." It is the ascribing to Father - the things that belong to human and rational beings, irrational creatures, or inanimate things – all which He hates. [11:6] And the Lord said, "Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. [11:7] "Go to, let us go down, and there confounded their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.   —>   In the phrase "let us go down" in the Hebrew text shows that Judgment is going to take place to these people. [11:8] So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. [11:9] Therefore is the name of it called Babel: because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.   —>   Keep in mind that this event is called “Babel” not the location. The subject is what the people are doing, and that is to create a way on their own for their own salvation. The word Babel in the Hebrew tongue means “confusion.” It was through the confusion of languages, that Father scattered the peoples of the earth. It was also the confusion of man substituting His plan and covenants for their own, that man formed his religions. It is from confusion that the word “Babylon” came. These early Canaanites were the founders of the ancient Babylon, the Babylon prior to the Babylon of Nebuchadzeddar's kingdom of Daniel's day. This was why Father commanded the children of Israelites to destroy the Canaanites when He brought them up, out of Egypt. These Canaanites were the mixture and descendants of the fallen angels which came to earth to breed with women during the second influx. This is described in the Book of Jude - the time when the fallen angels left their first estate, or "habitation" and came to earth, disregarding Father's orders to them. Sadly, the Israelites did not listen to Father and destroy the Canaanites but instead, made them their neighbors and took on them; their gods. That is what this book of Judges is all about: Every time a Judge died, the Israelites went right back into baal, ashtoreth and grove worship. As we're about to read here, after the death of Solomon, Father will split the Nation of Israel into two separate nations or "Houses," it was also because of the sins of the House of Israel in following these heathen religious forms, that Father separated Himself from the House of Israel. Then after He became flesh, through His death and resurrection, the way was made so that we, of the House of Israel could be drawn back to Him. Though the practices of these heathen forms may not look the same today, the symbols of those ancient forms are just as much present today in the Christian church houses as they were then, only we like to cover them over by redefining what they are. In ignorance man seems to think that because he can con himself, he can also con Father. Our Heavenly Father hates all forms of those ancient religious practices, and He is a jealous God, which most Christians can't and don't comprehend. Today, much of baal and ashtoreth is preserved in veiled language in secret fraternities, Freemasonry, Theosophy, and in the Roman Church. The language of these religious forms are so concealed that those using it probably have little idea at all what it is pertaining to, or what they are perpetuating. In those ancient symbols "I O" proclaims "sex as the true God of Hosts," as the Jewish Kabala declares. The reason for so deep of detail here on baal, ashtoreth and grove worship, is because we have continually seen these forms of worship throughout the Book of Judges, and the Book of Kings so we better understand right now, just what it is that Father so hated and despised. Many of those things have come down through the centuries and are appearing in new forms in many of the church houses today. Solomon told us There is nothing new under the sun” and today the movement is to drive Father completely out our public schools. Sure they have cleaned up the orgies and renamed ideas with names like evolution, Darwinism, but they have also brought in forms of baalism and the condoning sodomy as “a different life style.” Went not fully=In other words, Solomon split his worship between Father and all the other gods his foreign wives brought in with them, which is why Father told and commanded the Israelites to not mixmarrywith the other races, or peoples. He knew and even forewarned Moses and had it recorded in The Law; which, Solomon wrote his own copy and therefore: knew; but, did it anyway because of his lust of the flesh. Truly this is was the difference between David and his son Solomon. David stayed true to Father and never served any other gods, Solomon on the other hand when he became olderand I believe because of an over inflated egoserved any and all gods. Let's return now to I Kings 11: I Kings 11:7 Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.   —>   A moment ago we reviewed from Judges 8, let's now go back and review a little from Judges 10: Judges 10:6 And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook the LORD, and served not him.   —>   No sooner had the Judges who kept the children of Israel just above the borderline of slipping back into idolatry died, they fell immediately back into whoredom and worshipping other, false gods; baal and ashtaroth; the gods of the syrians bel, saturn, or jupiter and astarte; the gods of the Zidonians ashtaroth, astarte and venus; the gods of moabites chemosh; the gods of the ammonites milcom or molech; and the gods of the philistines dagon. We covered two these religious forms in detail back in Judges 8:33; and Judges 10; but, since Father is calling our attention to the other false gods here in I Kings 11, it'll be good to go into a deeper study of all these lower case “g” gods, the gods baal and ashtaroth and read about them and also to review the some of the other false gods: ashtaroth, astarte, baal, bel, dagon, briefly, there is no need to get into too much detail of jupiter and saturn as they are planets and that is easy enough to understand planet worship. Ashtaroth=From the Strong’s Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H6252, - עשׁתּרות, or עשׁתּרת , - ‛ashtârôth, or ‛ashtârôth, pronounced - ash-taw-roth', or ash-taw-roth', and means: Plural of H6251; Ashtaroth, the name of a Sidonian deity, and of a place East of the Jordan: - Ashtaroth, Astaroth. See also H1045, H6253, H6255., and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “Ashtaroth and once As'taroth, a city on the east of Jordan in Bashan, in the kingdom of Og, doubtless so called from being a seat of the worship of the goddess of the same name Deuteronomy 1:4; Joshua 9:10; 12:4; 13:12..” This H6255 was ashtaroth karnahyim which translated means Ashtaroth of (the) double horns, sounds like the "picture" we have of satan today. Astarte=astarte is also known as Astarat and Astoreth. She is an incarnation of Ishtar and Inanna. This Semitic Goddess was worshipped by the Syrians, Canaanites (today called Palestinians), Phoenicians, Egyptians and other Semitic Tribes. King Solomon will be shortly building a Temple to Her as Astoreth, near Jerusalem. Astarte was worshipped as many things; to the Egyptians, She was honored as a Goddess of War and tenacity, to the Semites, She was a Goddess of Love and Fertility. Among the Greeks She was transposed into the Goddess of Love Aphrodite. In Father’s Word, She is referred to as "the abomination." Considering Her widespread devotion in Biblical times, the attempts to discredit the goddess are not surprising..” When we speak of baal, we have to include the worship of ashtaroh, because they are tied together as a unit. Wherever baal worship exists, the groves are mentioned, as well as the word "asherah." The word "Asherah" in the Hebrew is from the root word “Aahar” and it meansto be straight, erect and upright.” It is from this word that we get the moral reference, “to be upright,” hence happy and prosper. The male part called “asherahbaalis distinguished from “ashtaroth” the female goddess, yet the images are worshipped together. The ashtaroth being representative of the productive (or passive) principle of life; and “baal” or “asherah” being representative of the generative (or active) part of the process for producing life. In other words, this is using the sexual process in a form of worship, and the shaping of the trunks of the trees as the idols and images (groves) are done to excite the worshippers into the practice, and Father hates the practice! It was from this form that the religious practices of “evolution” that we have today came from, giving "chance," and the reproductive processes of men and women the credit of creation and salvation for mankind. It leaves ELOHIMthe Creator our Heavenly Fatherout of the creation process, and man ends up worshipping the creation and himself, rather than the Creator, Who is The ONE and ONLY True Living God. As I said in the previous versevI Kings 11:6in some religions, symbols mean everything; and the ashrah, or the “phallus” was the symbol for the baal worship. The forming of this symbol in their formed images, made from the topping of a tree, and shaping of it, became the image of worship. What started out to be the honoring of the origin of life; became a corrupted form of worshiping of the organs that produce the life. These symbols in turn, became the incentive to all forms of impurity, which in time turned into nothing but sexual orgies. Since the creation of man on the sixth day, and with no written knowledge of what they were worshiping, we don't really know when this all started. However, we also can look to what was happening and happened when the fallen angels came in Genesis 6, we know that they were mating with women and doing who knows what else sexually with them, but suffice it to say that is was probably perverted, and from it also they were worshipping the reproductive organs. We do know some of this started also in the ancient Canaanite religions, which originated way back in Nimrod's day who was the grandson of Noah, the son of Ham. Ham had four sons and their names were Cush, Mizraim, Phut, and Canaan. Canaan was the father of the Canaanites who were the originators of baal, and ashtorah. Nimrod was the son of Cush. It was for this reason that God gave the commandment to Israel that when they entered into the Promised Land – Father told Abram that He was going to allow some of this to come to pass back in Genesis 15, but as soon as they came out of Egypt; they were to kill all of the Canaanites, tear down their images and destroy their groves. That's right Father said to utterly destroy all the men, women and children, and even their animals. Sadly, they did not listen to Father; they did not destroy the Canaanites but mixed in with them and also the Gibeonites (Hivites) as we can read of in Joshua 9; because of their disobedience to Father, the Israelites have brought all their troubles upon themselves. Chemosh=From the Strong’s Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H3645, - כּמושׁ, or כּמישׁ o , - kemôsh, or kemı̂ysh, pronounced - kem-oshe', or kem-eesh', and means: From an unused root meaning to subdue; the powerful; Kemosh, the god of the Moabites: - Chemosh.. Little doubt can be made that the Moabites tried to aspire chemosh to the height of power of Father. Now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “The national deity of the Moabites Numbers 21:29; Jeremiah 48:7,13,46. In Judges 11:24 he also appears as the god of the Ammonites. Solomon introduced, and Josiah abolished, the worship of Chemosh at Jerusalem I kings 11:7; II Kings 23:13. Also identified with Baal-peor, Baalzebub, Mars and Saturn..” Chemosh Was the sun god worshipped by the Moabites, the ammonites (sister tribes of the offspring of Lot and his daughters) and is identified somewhat with baalpeor, of which we read of in Numbers 23 and 25: Numbers 23:28 And Balak brought Balaam unto the top of Peor, that looketh toward Jeshimon.   —>   Balak takes Balaam to another high place where they worship baal, thinking that they can worship YHVH here as well. He just doesn’t get (like most people today) that you cannot Worship YHVH and any other gods (lower case “g”) at the same time or place. There is only one True God, and He is ELOAH, The One and Only True Living God. Peor was the mountain on which baal was worshipped. What does Peor mean? In the Hebrew in the Strong’s it is word number H6465 and means: gap; or opening. It was where they held their orgies during their worship services to baal, and as we’ll see in Numbers 25 these used the Israelite women as prostitutes in their worship of baal. Who was baal? In the Hebrew, in the Strong’s, baal is word number H1166 baal and means: to be master, hence to marry and be husband. Of course we know who our True Husband is Jesus. But it was here on this mountain, Peor, that the Moabites worshipped their idol baal. We can compare this with Hosea 9:10: Hosea 9:10 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baal-Peor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved.   —>   From Roger Christopherson’s study The "wilderness" is a desert. Thus we can see how precious fresh grapes would be in a hot desert. God is saying here, His children "Israel.” were as sweet to Him, as those fresh ripened grapes are in a desert. Then they, "Israel", went to "Baal-peor", following after heathen god's, taking all their abominations, and adopting all their worshipping [love] practices. This is directed to ancient Israel as we see here in Numbers 23:28; and also to our generation because this is what will happen when anti-christ arrives. We must remember, in Hosea's time though, Israel had been scattered. Let’s now look at Numbers 25:1-5: Numbers 25:1 And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.   —>   Sadly, as we see, the Israelites did not listen to YHVH and utterly destroy the Moabites, but instead, joined themselves to them. YVHV told them not to do this, as can be read in Exodus 34:12-16: Exodus 34:12 Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee: [34:13] But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves: [34:14] For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, Whose name is Jealous, is a jealous GOD: [34:15] Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice; [34:16] And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.   —>   We can also compare this with Deuteronomy 23:17: Deuteronomy 23:17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.   —>   Check out the words “whore” and “sodomite” from this verse in your Strong’s Concordance brethren. “Whore” in the Strong’s, it is Hebrew word number: H6948, - קדשׁה, - qedêshâh, pronounced - ked-ay-shaw', and means: Feminine of H6945; a female devotee (that is, prostitute): - harlot, whore.; whereas, sodomite is Hebrew word numbernotice in the description of a whore, the feminine is Hebrew word H6945same as the word sodomite: H6945, - קדשׁ, - qâdêsh, pronounced - kaw-dashe', and means: From H6942; a (quasi) sacred person, that is, (technically) a (male) devotee (by prostitution) to licentious idolatry: - sodomite, unclean.. So, in other words, both the whore and the sodomite were\are instruments\people to be used during a worship service to baal, and it is no different today with all our licentiousness. [25:2] And they called the People unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the People did eat, and bowed down to their gods.   —>   This is just what Father YHVH did not want them to do. This is the easiest way to anger Him and cause Him to turn His back on you and take away blessings from you. [25:3] And Israel joined himself unto Baal-Peor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.   —>   As we learned from Numbers 23:28, Peor was the mountain on which Baal was worshipped. [25:4] And the LORD said unto Moses, “Take all the heads of the People, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel. -> This is one position that you never want to find yourself - where the LORD tells somebody that is in charge of you, that something must be done in order for the fierce anger of the LORD to be turned away from you. These “heads of the People” are the chiefs or princes of the people. The number isn’t stated here in this verse but must have been about 1,000 and included in the 24,000 of verse Numbers 25:9 but, excluded from I Corinthians 10I Corinthians 10:8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.   —>   Hang them up=I.e. impaled or nailed to a stake, as in crucifixion. The vulgate renders it “crucify,” which means the same thing. [25:5] And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, “Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baal-peor.”   —>   Remember from Numbers 11, Father had told Moses that he should gather 70 men to assist Moses in judging the people. Well, it is these judges that Moses is telling in this verse to go to every one of his men and slay those that had yoked themselves to Baal-Peor. Had we continued here in Numbers 25 we would have found that an Israelite brought in a Midianitish woman and lay with her right there in the camp, until Eleazar’s son Phinehas picked up a spear and ran it through both of them while they were in the act. Bel=From the Strong’s Concordance, we find it is Hebrew word number: H1078, - בּל, - bêl, pronounced – bale and means: By contraction for H1168; Bel, the Baal of the Babylonians: - Bel. – bel - signifying "lord" or "master", is a title rather than a genuine name, that is applied to the various gods in Babylonian religion. The feminine form is belit or 'Lady, Mistress'.. “bel is represented in Greek as Belos and in Latin as belus. Early translators believed that the ideogram for the god called in Sumerian – enlil (the god of breath, wind, loft breadth or "height and distance). This is now known to be incorrect; but one finds bel used in referring to Enlil in older translations and discussions. Bel became especially used of the Babylonian god marduk and when found in Assyrian and neo-Babylonian personal names or mentioned in inscriptions in a Mesopotamian context, it can usually be taken as referring to Marduk--sun god of Babylon--and no other god. Similarly beiit without some disambiguation mostly refers to bel marduk's spouse..” Dagon=From the Strong’s Concordance, we find it is Hebrew word number: H1712, - דּגון, - dâgôn, pronounced - daw-gohn', and means: From H1709 (and H1711 "fish as in prolific" againoffspring - sex); the fish god; Dagon, a Philistine deity: - Dagon.. We know what happened to dagon when the philistines put Father in the same room with him in I Samuel 5, he (it) could not stand with Father in the same room, Father kept knocking him (it) over. So, this takes us through some of the different false gods that our forefathers served; but, let's continue down this vein a little further. When the Judge, Jair, died; the Israelites not only returned to baalism (plural of baal), they also turned to other heathen practices as well. As we just learned, the god of Moab was molech, and the Moabites worshipped molech through the practice of burning their children in sacrifice. The god of Syria we first read of in Genesis 35:4: Genesis 35:4 And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.   —>   We just read of Shechem in Judges 9; and we're still talking about the same people and place here in Judges 10 and as we’re reading here in I Kings 11. The "gods of Syria" were charms which they wore in their ears, on their hands, and on their body. They made themselves charms and put their trust in these charms for their protection. Have you ever heard of a rabbit's foot, a good luck charm and so on, well this is the sort of thing the Syrians relied heavy upon. The “earrings” were part of Jacob's booty in the victory, and they were items made of precious metals. We sure are seeing a lot of people being pierced on different parts of their bodies today, same with tattooing, it seems everybody has to have a tattoo now a days, and on just about every part of their body too. The gods of Zidon was also baal worship, and also astarte, which was the female part in baal worship. There was another name for Astarte, and that was “ishtar.” It was from the feast of ishtar that we get the celebratory practice of easter which still is practiced in most Christian church houses today. The Christian churches brought in the customs and items of this feast of Ishtar; such as the egg hunt and rolling, the bunnies, the bonnets and dresses with their beautiful, bright spring colors, the early morning bowing to the sun in their sunrise services, and other such items of worship, took on a new identity and Christians think that those things have been purified by their traditions. Rather than putting aside those items of heathen worship, the Christian world has hung on to them by redefining what they represent and their use. Sadly and unknowingly, it is a game that many Christians play with Father, mistakenly thinking that somehow they can con Father out of His hatred of those heathen images and symbols and what they actually represent. The god of the Philistines as we know, was the fish god - dagon. We read of dagon back in Judges 16:23 and other places in Father's Word. It was at the feast to dagon that all the philistines gathered into one place and Sampson brought down the house. Then some six hundred years after than Sampson's defeat of the philistines, the assyrians were made to accept the teaching of Jonah and repent of their sins when they thought Jonah was sent by dagon the fish god. When the people of Nineveh witnessed and heard of Jonah being cast out, and up onto the shore by the great fish that Father prepared for Jonah, they wanted to hear all that Jonah had said. Their god was dagon; and they thought that all the words from Jonah, were from dagon, Jonah was the messenger who dagon sent to them, and they were therefore ready to listen to and comply with all of Jonah's words. If you foolishly believe that these gods aren't present and being worshipped today, even by Christians; step back and take a good look all around you. See what items, false doctrines and dogma, and such people are using to put their faith in, and what strange things they do in the name of “religion.” Solomon told us there is nothing new under the sun, and what once was practiced and worshipped, sadly has returned as a type. Our nation was established on the very principles of Father's Word; His Laws, His Commandments, and His Moralities all prescribed and set forth in His Word. Yet many of those principles today, including even His Laws and Commandments, are being replaced in our Government, our Courts and even in our schools. The very laws of our land our Constitution and Bill of Rights, we see are our leaders, heck, our schools have become indoctrination centers for the heathen left the usurper in charge, and both the Congress and House of Representatives, mock Father, and the sad part of it is that they think in their own minds that they can get away with it, it reminds me of Ezekiel 8:17: Ezekiel 8:17 Then said He unto me, “Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke Me to anger: and, lo they put the branch to their nose.   —>   This branch is an “asherah a piece of wood cut and formed to the shape of a man's penis. It represented their form of worship that they did in the “groves” where they held their orgies. And symbolically, what did they then do with this branch? To Father, they were rubbing it right under his nose. In the original manuscripts this reads “ and they put the branch to 'MY' nostrils." It reads differently here in the King James and other versions as well, because the SopherimScribes of the word the kenites and nethinims NOT those of the House of Israel or those of the House of Judahchanged the way it reads, because they felt it too derogatory a term and they wanted to hide what Father really felt about it. [8:18] Therefore will I also deal in fury: Mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in Mine ears with loud voice, yet will I not hear them.”   —>   Can you now feel our Father's feelings on this and hear the anger of our Father's voice?! Yeah, our Governmental leader's minds are set in the same mode of wickedness as our forefathers that we're reading of in the days of the Judges. They tempted Father by taking away His standards, and at the same time accepting the most hated forms of practices, such as sodomy. They remove Father, His Word, Prayer and anything else of Father from the schools and the public buildings, and then they turn around and wonder why our streets and filled with crime and children are doing the things that they are doing on today. Our Constitution, our Preambles and our Bill of Rights were all taken from and giving ode to Father, whereby the people under these documents and their guidelines would better serve Father. Sadly, it has only taken our government two hundred years to now substitute a new form of government, whereby we now exclude Father from many of the basic elements of our lives. They have taken away the Absolutes of Father's Law, and have now replaced it with a new, different type of law, one called the “law of precedent,” whereby one court-case decision now sets the example of how all other similar court-cases arising thereafter should be judges. The “right or wrong of the case,” is determined by one man and that man calls himself Judge, completely disregarding the absolutes of Father's Word. The Law has become a game that these legal minds like to play, which does two things; it serves only to make them much money thereby getting them rich, and, they place the outcome in their hands and not the hands of Father. The practice of law of today is like the practice of Spiritual games that the preachers and their church systems like to play with Father's Word, and sadly, the outcome is the same serving only to make the preachers rich with their prosperity doctrines and such. So as we can see, not much has changed at all in the past several thousand years. In the hill that is before Jerusalem=This hill is the Mount of Olives, and we find that because of what Solomon is about to do, and all which will be done on the Mount of Olives by the Israelites, that it becomes called the Mount of Corruption as Josiah is destroying all the altars, high places and groves, II Kings 23:13: II Kings 23:13 And the high places that were before Jerusalem, which were on the right hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Zidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the abomination of the children of Ammon, did the king defile.. Molech=We covered molech in verse v11:5 above, so there is no need to cover it again here. I Kings 11:8 And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.   —>   In order to continue to please all his foreign wives and ensure peace, Solomon allowed them to keep their false gods, he build the altars all over the Temple Mount, Mount Moriah and Mount Zion at which they would worship their false gods, and he even participated in the worship of those false gods with his foreign wives. Not a very intelligent thing to do, especially considering all the wisdom Father had Blessed him with, actually it was quite sottish on his part. We'll shortly see that this will anger Father so much that He call Solomon Home; however, before He does, He'll notify Solomon that He is about to divide the kingdom into two separate Nations: House of Israel and House of Judah, and He even ensured that Solomon knows why and what is going to happen to the House of Israel once he has been brought Home. The false gods\religions of todaybeside still serving some of those from the past including molechism, astarte, ashtoreth and some of the othersinclude allah, buddhism, confusicious, hinduism, jainism, prosperity doctrines, rapture, wiccanism and a few others. So, as we see, man is still sottish and desires to worship any and everything under the sun. Let’s return now to II Kings 21:

Pass through the fire=Manasseh was following in the footsteps of his grandfather aw-khawz' (Ahaz),the first king of the House of Judah to practice molechismand sacrificing his young children in the fire, what an evil, vile practice, one which I cannot even fathom; yeah, even Father says that this practice never entered into His mind Jeremiah 19:5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:   —>    Father knew what the heathen were practicing, and He had forewarned our forefathers of this when He brought them up out of Egypt: Leviticus 18:21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.   —>   again in Deuteronomy 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,   —>    Manasseh's grandson Josiah will put a stop to his grandfather's re-instituting this abominable practice as can be read in II Kings 23:10 And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the children of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.   —>   Josiah didn't only do this; but, he put a stop to every single one of

Observed times=First from the Strong's Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H6049, - עָנַן, - ‛ânan, pronounced - aw-nan', and means: A primitive root; to cover; used only as denominative from H6051, to cloud over; figuratively to act covertly, that is, practise magic: - X bring, enchanter, Meonemin, observe (-r of) times, soothsayer, sorcerer. Total KJV occurrences: 11., Dr. Bullinger notes in II Chronicles 33:6 that, “one who observes times, is one who consults auguries..” Research of the word “auguries” gives us this tidbit of info: “an omen, or interpreter of such. The augur was a priest and official in the classical Roman world. His main role was the practice of augury, interpreting the will of the gods by studying the flight of birds: whether they are flying in groups or alone, what noises they make as they fly, direction of flight and what kind of birds they are. This was known as "taking the auspices." The ceremony and function of the augur was central to any major undertaking in Roman society—public or private—including matters of war, commerce, and religion..” So, we see that one who observed the times was an individual(s) who tried to use any means possible to predict the future.

Used enchantments=From the Strong's Concordance, we find this to be Hebrew word number: H5172, - נָחַשׁ, - nâchash, pronounced - naw-khash', and means: A primitive root; properly to hiss, that is, whisper a (magic) spell; generally to prognosticate: - X certainly, divine, enchanter, (use) X enchantment, learn by experience, X indeed, diligently observe. Total KJV occurrences: 11.. The hairs on the back of your neck should be starting to stand on end as; this word “enchantments,” naw-khash'should immediately put you in mind of another similar word: “naw-khawsh'”, which is Hebrew word number: H5175, which is translated: “serpent” in the King James Version Bible; and we know that hethe serpent: “satanused enchantments in the Garden of Eden to seducebeguileH5377, - נָשָׁא, - nâshâ', pronounced - naw-shaw', and means: A primitive root; to lead astray, that is, (mentally) to delude, or (morally) to seduce: - beguile, deceive, X greatly, X utterly. Total KJV occurrences: 15. and now from the Greek in II Corinthians 11:3: G1818, - ἐξαπατάω, - exapataō, pronounced - ex-ap-at-ah'-o, and means: From G1537 and G538; to seduce wholly: - beguile, deceive. Total KJV occurrences: 5.Eve.

Familiar spirits=First from the Strong's Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H178, - אוֹב, - 'ôb, pronounced - obe, and means: From the same as H1 (apparently through the idea of prattling a father’s name); properly a mumble, that is, a water skin (from its hollow sound); hence a necromancer (ventriloquist, as from a jar): - bottle, familiar spirit. Total KJV occurrences: 17., Dr. Bullinger notes this concerning “familiar spirits” in his Companion Bible in Leviticus 19:31: “These are evil spirits impersonating dead human beings, and attaching themselves only to “mediums” and those who give up their will to them. A dread reality is provided against by these enactments, compare Leviticus 20:27; Deuteronomy 18:10-12; I Chronicles 10:13-14; and Isaiah 8:19. The Hebrew ‘'ôb’ is borrowed from the Akkadian word ubi=a charm, used of one who has a mistress of the spell, or spirit, Isaiah 29:4. See Acts 16:16 where it is defined as “a spirit of python” (=pythius Apollo), i.e., the devil..”

wizzards=First from the Strong's Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H3049, - יִדְּעֹנִי, - yidde‛ônı̂y, pronounced - yid-deh-o-nee', and means: From H3045; properly a knowing one; specifically a conjurer; (by implication) a ghost: - wizard. Total KJV occurrences: 11., the Smith’s Bible Dictionary says to “see: Divination; or Magic., Dr. Bullinger notes in his Companion Bible: “Mediums, i.e., “knowing ones”=those having occult knowledge..”

II Kings 21:7 And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David (loving; or, well-beloved) (Daw-veed’), and to Solomon (peaceful) his son, “In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put My name for ever:   —>   He set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house=Do you understand what he did brethren? This fool made a graven golden image of his asherah grove where they held their orgies, and he placed it right there in Father's House, and worshiped his image in Father's House. WOW, what an abomination!!!

Father’s temple was and is the most holy place of all places here on earth, and what Manasseh do? He turned the House of Father YHVH into a whore house; a place for them to hold their sex orgies. All the time that Manasseh did all this wickedness, he declared that he was doing it in the name of the Living God. Does it sound familiar with a lot of the stuff we see going on in many kurch houses today? If they declare that they are doing it in the name of Jesus, than they can go ahead with all their things that go against Father’s Word. Let’s go to Deuteronomy 18 and read what Father had to say about these things: Deuteronomy 18:9 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.   —>   Everything is Father’s Creation, thus He owns everything, and as He says here; He was giving this parcel of land to our forefathers and as such He placed a condition on their receiving it and this condition is that they don’t do as the heathen around them had done. Deuteronomy 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.   —>   It was heartbreaking for him to watch these heathen children of His of these other nations worshiping other false gods and He didn’t want His Chosen People to do the same. Deuteronomy 18:11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.   —>   He wasn’t kidding when He told our forefathers to not do these things. The first man king of Israel: Saul found this out the hard way. Deuteronomy 18:12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.    —>   Manasseh chased after all of these abominations and the people were more than happy to follow right behind him in his wickedness. You have to ask yourself, where were the Priests and the Prophets while all this was going on? I’ll tell you where they were; those who were speaking out against this vileness were either being thrown in prison, or being killed, just like had been done with Jeremiah. Brethren, these are types of what we shall witness as this Age comes to a close, you can look around and see all of it being accepted throughout the world and especially in our Country today. We hear our President, our Congressional and Senate Lawmakers, our supposed leaders, support the unmerciful killing of innocent unborn children while still in the mother’s womb, and then those who perform such procedures using the unborn fetus’ parts for the sake of all sorts of things. I'm sure that Manasseh also had enacted many laws which protected these heathen acts so that the people would have their conscience deadened to Father’s Word. Remember, just like in the kurch houses of today, many of the kenite influenced priests went right along with Manasseh, otherwise it would not have happened in Father’s Temple. This is a type of exactly what is befalling us in these end times.

David=First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H1732, - דּוד, or דּויד, - dâvid, or dâvı̂yd, pronounced - daw-veed', or daw-veed' and means: From the same as H1730; loving; David, the youngest son of Jesse: - David., The description of David in the Smith’s Bible Dictionary is extensive and too long to post here; so, I’ll instead just post the link to it: David.

Solomon=First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H8010, - שׁלמה, - shelômôh, pronounced - shel-o-mo', and means: From H7965; peaceful; Shelomoh, David’s successor: - Solomon., and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: The description of Solomon in the Smith’s Bible Dictionary is extensive and too long to post here; so, I’ll instead just post the link to it: Solomon.

II Kings 21:8 Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that My servant Moses commanded them.”   —>   Again brethren, did you catch the Condition Father put here in this verse? If Israel will hear and do all Father Commanded according to the Law; then, and only then, will Father bring about peace for Israel and not cause them to be removed from off the land He gave to them. Sadly, they were not and are not even to this day, hearers and doers, we know this because those in Israel and those which make up the Nations of the House of Israel today, still do not have peace. Many of the Peoples which make up the Nations of the House of Israel are being invaded by the muslim population today, and the People aren't even putting up a fight to stop it from coming to pass.

II Kings 21:9 But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.   —>   Listen to what Father tells His Prophet Jeremiah in the Book named after him: Jeremiah 15:1 Then said the LORD unto me, “Though Moses and Samuel stood before Me, yet My mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of My sight, and let them go forth.   —>   Father mentions Moses and Samuel to Jeremiah here because they were two of the foremost Prophets of His who stood in the gap between Father and His Children when His Children were erring badly and He wanted to destroy them. Though I must add that Samuel paid a heavy price because though he stood in the gap between Father and His Children; Samuel did a very poor job of standing between his own sons and Father’s Children, and he allowed his two sons to fleece the People by taking bribes and had also stooped to extorting the People. [15:2] And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, ‘Whither shall we go forth?’ then thou shalt tell them, ‘Thus saith the LORD; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity.’   —>   Father is telling Jeremiah that He is about to change things in Israel, and they won’t be for the betterment as; the People turned their backs on Him; so, He is about to unleash calamities upon them. [15:3] And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.   —>   Father is about to unleash four kinds of destruction upon Israel because of their forsaking Him. This is also getting to what we call the “four hidden dynasties” of today. Four divine agencies of destruction to where those who choose not to study God's Word will be taken in by them, and in the end destroyed. These four hidden dynasties are mentioned in Zechariah 1:18, and are called the “four horns of power.” We too in this generation have the four hidden dynasties to form the minds of the people into the acceptance of the new world order. They are the “Economy;”money, industry, banking and commerceEducation;” “Politics;” and “Religion.” The leftist orientated minds are in full control of all of these dynasties, and they are taking all of mankind into captivity. The more left they get, the more they leave God out of their plans and thoughts. God is telling us that if the people choose this type of government, let them have it and be destroyed by it. In these days we have to be wiser then the serpent (and those kenites) and beat them at their own game. That is why we must know our Father's Word, for all their plans for our day are laid out in it, and God warns us that we must seal it in our minds. [15:4] And I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem.   —>   Though it is Manasseh’s fault, it is also the Priest’s and the People’s fault for allowing him to get away with what he didjust like us today who allow our Representatives and our Judges to get away with what we allow them to get away within leading the Nation astray from Father. [15:5] For who shall have pity upon thee, O Jerusalem? or who shall bemoan thee? or who shall go aside to ask how thou doest?   —>   Nobody had any pity; nor should they had as it was their own fault. Father is telling Jeremiah to tell the People that there will be nobody who cares what their condition is when they are crying peace, peace, and are taken into captivity. Brethren, there wasn't any during Jeremiah's day, and looking around today we see that we too are running headlong into the captivity of one worldism and only those sealed with the Word of God truly know what danger they are in. Soon the false messiah will arrive, and they will know what false peace can be. [15:6] Thou hast forsaken Me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.   —>   Father always tells it like it is, and He doesn’t sugar coat it!

21:10-15 Threatening of YHVH

II Kings 21:10 And the LORD spake by His servants the prophets, saying,   —>   I asked above that we almost have to wonder where Father's Priests and Prophets were during all this; well, now we see that they are indeed still there and speaking His Words.

II Kings 21:11 “Because Manasseh king of Judah (celebrated) (Yeh-hoo-daw') hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites (in the sense of publicity, that is, prominence; thus a mountaineer; or, dwellers on the summits, mountaineers) (em-o-ree') did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:   —>   Man-ash-sheh' was even more vile than those whom Father told Abraham thousands of years ago, that He was going to send his offspringof which he didn't even have any as yetdown to Egypt for those 400 years, in order that these em-o-ree's forefathers could continue fulfill their iniquity, let's read it, we find it in Genesis 15: Genesis 15:16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorite is not yet full.”   —>   Father wanted Abram's descendants Isaac's son Jacob (later named Israel The Prince that prevails with God,” by Father) and his children the Israelites out of this land, Canaan The Promised Land, in order for the Amorites to continue what they were doing “the iniquity of the Amorites.” What was their iniquity, what is it that they were doing? They were messing with, and mating with, the fallen angels which had come back after the flood of Noah's time, which we can read of in Genesis 6. This mating produced hybrid offspring the “mighty men” or the gibbor the giants. The same as Goliath and Og to name two, but there were many more Goliath's brother had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot. For more references and reading on these fallen angels and their hybrid offspring, follow the links: Companion Bible Appendix 23 The sons of God, and Companion Bible Appendix 25 The nephilim of Genesis 6. These Amorites were of the Adamic seedline the seedline through which Father Himself would be born as His Son Emmanuel God with us Jesus Christ. Therefore, He was not about to let this mixing continue for too long, just long enough for Abram's descendants to grow in number and strength, so that He could bring them back to utterly destroy these people and the hybrid offspring. Sadly, most people have no knowledge why Father would tell the Israelites to utterly destroy these people man, woman and child but they accept the fact that He said to do so.

Judah= First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find it is Hebrew word number: H3063, - יהוּדה, - yehûdâh, pronounced - yeh-hoo-daw', and means: From H3034; celebrated; Jehudah (or Judah), the name of five Israelites; also of the tribe descended from the first, and of its territory: - Judah.. And now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “When the disruption of Solomon's kingdom took place at Shechem, only the tribe of Judah followed David, but almost immediately afterward the larger part of Benjamin joined Judah. A part, if not all, of the territory of Simeon I Samuel 27:6; I Kings 19:3, compare with Joshua 19:1 and of Dan II Chronicles 11:10, compare with Joshua 19:41,42. Was recognized as belonging to Judah; and in the reigns of Abijah and Asa the southern kingdom was enlarged by some additions taken out of the territory of Ephraim II Chronicles 13:19; 15:8; 17:2. It is estimated that the territory of Judah contained about 3450 square miles. Advantages. The kingdom of Judah possessed many advantages which secured for it a longer continuance than that of Israel. A frontier less exposed to powerful enemies, a soil less fertile, a population hardier and more united, a fixed and venerated centre of administration and religion, a hereditary aristocracy in the sacerdotal caste, an army always subordinate, a succession of kings which no revolution interrupted; so that Judah survived her more populous and more powerful sister kingdom by 135 years. History. -- The first three kings of Judah seem to have cherished the hope of re-establishing their authority over the ten tribes; for sixty years there was war between them and the kings of Israel. The victory achieved by the daring Abijah brought to Judah a temporary accession of territory. Asa appears to have enlarged it still further. Hanani's remonstrance II Chronicles 16:7, prepares us for the reversal by Jehoshaphat of the policy which Asa pursued toward Israel and Damascus. A close alliance sprang up with strange rapidity between Judah and Israel. Jehoshaphat, active and prosperous, commanded the respect of his neighbors; but under Amaziah Jerusalem was entered and plundered by the Israelites. Under Uzziah and Jotham, Judah long enjoyed prosperity, till Ahaz became the tributary and vassal of Tiglath-pileser. Already in the fatal grasp of Assyria, Judah was yet spared for a checkered existence of almost another century and a half after the termination of the kingdom of Israel. The consummation of the ruin came upon its people in the destruction of the temple by the hand of Nebuzaradan. There were 19 kings, all from the family of David.”.

Amorites= First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find it is Hebrew word number: H567, - אמרי, - 'ĕmôrı̂y, pronounced - em-o-ree', and means: Probably a patronymic from an unused name derived from H559 in the sense of publicity, that is, prominence; thus a mountaineer; an Emorite, one of the Canaanitish tribes: - Amorite., and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “:One of the chief nations who possessed the land of Canaan before its conquest by the Israelites. As dwelling on the elevated portions of the country, they are contrasted with the Canaanites, who were the dwellers in the lowlands; and the two thus formed the main broad divisions of the Holy Land Numbers 13:29, and see 14:7; Deuteronomy 1:7,20 "Mountain of the Amorites;" 1:44; Joshua 5:1; 10:6; 11:3. They first occupied the barren heights west of the Dead Sea, at the place called afterwards Engedi. From this point they stretched west to Hebron. At the date of the invasion of the country, Sihon, their then king, had taken the rich pasture land south of the Jabbok. This rich tract, bounded by the Jabbok on the north, the Arnon on the south, the Jordan on the west and "the wilderness" on the east Judges 11:21,22, was, perhaps in the most special sense the "land of the Amorites" Numbers 21:31; Joshua 12:2,3; 13:10; Judges 11:21,22, but their possessions are distinctly stated to have extended to the very foot of Hermon Deuteronomy 3:8; 4:48, embracing "Gilead and all Bashan" Deuteronomy 3:10, with the Jordan valley on the east of the river Deuteronomy 4:49. After the conquest of Canaan nothing of importance is heard of the Amorites in the Bible..”

II Kings 21:12 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, ‘Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.   —>   His ears shall tingle=Father is going to perform something astonishing. We can compare this with the other two times Father utters words similar to these: once in I Samuel 3:11 when Father told Samuel that, “He was going to perform against Eli all things which He had spoken concerning his house: and that when he began, He would also make an end, for He had told him that He would judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.” to Eli's sons were and also in Jeremiah 19:3.

Check out this word “tingle,” in your Strong's Concordance, and you’ll find that it is Hebrew word number: H6750, - צָלַל, - tsâlal, pronounced - tsaw-lal', and means: A primitive root (rather identical with H6749 through the idea of vibration); to tinkle, that is, rattle together (as the ears in reddening with shame, or the teeth in chattering with fear): - quiver, tingle., so in other, words it means that Father is going to do something in Israel will cause all the people that hear of this event, to be astonished. Though thisthingis a series of events; however, the start was initially with Eli and his sons and we’re now seeing again with Man-ash-sheh’. There are great changes that Father is about to make, remember that because of Eli and his sons, the Judgeship was taken away from the priesthood, and placed in a monarchy, or state of government outside the temple or church. Father is about to bring about a separation between the church and the state of Father's people, and that carries on right down to our day2016in both America and England.

II Kings 21:13 And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria (watch mountain; or, watch station) (sho-mer-one'), and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.   —>   Here, Father is telling His Prophets to tell Man-ash-sheh’ that He is going to judge Jerusalem with the same plummet line with which He had judged king Ahab, Jezebel and all their offspring because of all their wickedness. Do you remember what happened to Ahab, and Jezebel, and all their family? Every single one of them were killed, all the seed royal was murdered, and then the kingdom was hauled away into captivity, to where even the people today have lost their identity. Father is telling Manasseh that, everything of Jerusalem will be wiped clean, and off the face of the earth.

We know that when Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Jerusalem and the nation of Judah, it took him and his army three trips to remove the things of Judah back into Babylon. He took the gold and silver and those things of value first. Then he came back to take the brass and things of less value, and on his last trip, he hauled the people out, with their toilets, and left the temple and walls as rubble, in complete destruction. Father used Nebuchadnezzar to finish the job that this prophecy of His foretold.

Samaria=First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find it is Hebrew word number: H8111, - שׁמרון, - Shômerôn, pronounced - Sho-mer-one', and means: From the active participle of H8104; watch station; Shomeron, a place in Palestine: - Samaria., and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “This city is situated 30 miles north of Jerusalem and about six miles to the northwest of Shechem, in a wide basin-shaped valley, six miles in diameter, encircled with high hills, almost on the edge of the great plain which borders upon the Mediterranean. In the centre of this basin, which is on a lower level than the valley of Shechem, rises a less elevated hill, with steep yet accessible sides and a long fiat top. This hill was chosen by Omri as the site of the capital of the kingdom of Israel. He "bought the hill of Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of the owner of the hill, Samaria" I Kings 16:23,24. From the time of Omri's purchase, Samaria retained its dignity as the capital of the ten tribes, and the name is given to the northern kingdom as well as to the city. Ahab built a temple to Baal there I kings 16:32,33. It was twice besieged by the Syrians, I kings 20:1, II Kings 6:24-27; II Kings 6:20, but on both occasions the siege was ineffectual. The possessor of Samaria was considered facto king of Israel II Kings 15:13, 14. Samaria was taken after a siege of three years, by Shalmaneser king of Assyria II Kings 18:9, 10, and the kingdom of the ten tribes was put an end to. Some years afterward the district of which Samaria was the centre was repeopled by Esarhaddon. Alexander the Great took the city, killed a large portion of the inhabitants, and suffered the remainder to set it at Shechem. He replaced them by a colony of Syro-Macedonians who occupied the city until the time of John Hyrcanus, who took it after a year's siege, and did his best to demolish it entirely. It was rebuilt and greatly embellished by Herod the Great. He called it Sebaste=Augusta, after the name of his patron, Augustus Caesar. The wall around it was 2 1/2 miles long, and in the centre of the city was a park 900 feet square containing a magnificent temple dedicated to Caesar. In the New Testament the city itself does not appear to be mentioned; but rather a portion of the district to which, even in older times it had extended its name Matthew 10:5; John 4:4,5. At this clay the city is represented by a small village retaining few vestiges of the past except its name, Sebustiyeh, an Arabic corruption of Sebaste. Some architectural remains it has, partly of Christian construction or adaptation, as the ruined church of St. John the Baptist, partly, perhaps, traces of Idumaean magnificence, St. Jerome, whose acquaintance with Palestine imparts a sort of probability to the tradition which prevailed so strongly in later days, asserts that Sebaste, which he invariably identifies with Samaria was the place in which St. John the Baptist was imprisoned and suffered death. He also makes it the burial-place of the prophets Elisha and Obadiah..”

II Kings 21:14 And I will forsake the remnant of Mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;   —>   Jerusalem survived the calamities of II Kings 18:13 i.e., San-khay-reeb’s first invasion of Judah where he captured those “46 fenced cities and strong holds, and smaller cities which were round about them, and which were without number, by the battering of rams, and the attack of engines, and by the assaults of foot soldiers, I besieged, I captured 200,100 people great and small, male and female, horses, mules, and asses, and camels, and men, and sheep innumerable from their midst I brought out, and I reckoned [them] as spoil. [Hezekiah] himself like a caged bird within Jerusalem, his royal city, I shut in.;” however, they will not survive those which Father is about to bring upon them; for, we can read in II Chronicles 33 that, Father will bring the king of Assyria, namely: Esar-haddon, who’ll take captive many peoples including two captives, i.e., Balou the king of Tyre, and Man-ash-sheh, who he’ll put rings and hooks through their noses and lips along with twelve other vassal kings and carry them off. Again, Dr. Bullinger has an excellent note in his Companion Bible at II Chronicles 33:11 which states: “A monument has been found showing this king Esar-haddon leading two captives with hooks or rings through their lips. And in an inscription he says: ‘I transported (from Syria) into Assyria men and women innumerable ... I counted among the vassals of my realm twelve kings of Syria, beyond the mountains, Balou king of Tyre, and Manasseh king of Judah.’.”

II Kings 21:15 Because they have done that which was evil in My sight, and have provoked Me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.’ ”   —>   In the roughly 925 yearsthe Exodus from Egypt took place in 1491 B.C. and we are currently in roughly Man-ash-sheh's, let's say, his 25th year, that would make it approximately 563 B.C.since Father brought our forefathers up out of Egypt, they have continuously angered Father by their backsliding into idolatry; however, as we know, Man-ash-sheh' was the worse king to do so, and it is for this reason, that Father is about to bring the king of Assyria against him.

21:16 Events. Personal. Evil-doing.

II Kings 21:16 Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.   —>   Shed innocent blood=Man-ash-sheh' killed many innocent people, including several of Father's Prophets. Historically, again, historically, not Biblicallyhe even had Father's Prophet Yesh-aw-yaw-hoo killed by sawing him in half upon the stump of a tree because, he didn't care for Yesh-aw-yaw'-hoo's telling him to stop his idolatry and return his heart to Father; or, he would feel the wrath of Father.

II Chronicles 33 goes into slightly more detail as to what happened with Man-ash-sheh and the People of Judah before Man-ash-sheh’ returns Home to Father; so, let’s turn there and read of it: II Chronicles 33:10 And the LORD spake to Manasseh, and to his People: but they would not hearken.   —>   We’re reading here in II Kings 21 that Father send His Prophets and Priests to get Man-ash-sheh’ and the People to listen to Him and turn away from their idolatry; but, at this point it is to no avail. [33:11] Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.   —>    Since Man-ash-sheh’ wouldn’t listen He sent in Esar-haddon, the king of Assyria to take them into captivity into Babylon. [33:12] And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,   —>   I think Father might have gotten Man-ash-sheh’s attention for, as we’re reading here, Man-ash-sheh’ turned and Prayer to Father. Josephus states this in his writings “And when they persevered in the same course of life, God raised up war against them from the king of Babylon and Chaldea, who sent an army against Judea, and laid waste the country; and caught king Manasseh by treachery, and ordered him to be brought to him, and had him under his power to inflict what punishment he pleased upon him. But then it was that Manasseh perceived what a miserable condition he was in, and esteeming himself the cause of all, he besought God to render his enemy humane and merciful to him. Accordingly, God heard his prayer, and granted him what he prayed for. So Manasseh was released by the king of Babylon, and escaped the danger he was in; and when he was come to Jerusalem, he endeavored, if it were possible, to cast out of his memory those his former sins against God, of which he now repented, and to apply himself to a very religious life. He sanctified the temple, and purged the city, and for the remainder of his days he was intent on nothing but to return his thanks to God for his deliverance, and to preserve him propitious to him all his life long. He also instructed the multitude to do the same, as having very nearly experienced what a calamity he was fallen into by a contrary conduct. He also rebuilt the altar, and offered the legal sacrifices, as Moses commanded. And when he had re-established what concerned the Divine worship, as it ought to be, he took care of the security of Jerusalem: he did not only repair the old walls with great diligence, but added another wall to the former. He also built very lofty towers, and the garrisoned places before the city he strengthened, not only in other respects, but with provisions of all sorts that they wanted. And indeed, when he had changed his former course, he so led his life for the time to come, that from the time of his return to piety towards God he was deemed a happy man, and a pattern for imitation..” [33:13] And prayed unto him: and He was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD He was God.   —>   Yes sir, Father had gotten his undivided attention, and rightfully so, Man-ash-sheh’ turned his life around and served Father. We’ll see in the next few verses just how well Man-ash-sheh’ did this. [33:14] Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah. [33:15] And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the LORD, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city. [33:16] And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel. [33:17] Nevertheless the People did sacrifice still in the high places, yet unto the LORD their God only.   —>   They refused to quit their illegal worship of Father in their high places; but, at least for the time being, they are honoring, serving and worshiping Him only.

21:17 Conclusion. Record and death.

II Kings 21:17 Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?   —>   Man-ash-sheh's father Yekh-iz-zee-yaw'-hoo was the best of Judah's kings; but, his son, Man-ash-sheh' was the worst.

Are they not written=Had we continued for two more verses in our reading from II Chronicles 33 above, this is what we would have read: [33:18] Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to him in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel. [33:19] His prayer also, and how God was intreated of him, and all his sin, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers.   —>   His prayer=Man-ash-sheh's prayer is not recorded; and, the one which is given in the Apocrypha is considered by some scholars to be, not genuine. The main reason for this is because those same scholars consider the Apocrypha to be not genuine; hence they didn't include it in the Canonized version of the King James Version 1611 Bible; however, as we see that he was returned to Jerusalem and became a righteous man, I disagree with those scholars and can attest that his Prayer is genuine as; Father heard and answered his Prayer. I want you to think about this a moment brethren as; if you ever think that you've done something so terrible that you think Father couldn't ever forgive you, think back to this man Man-ash-sheh' in this Book, Chapter and verse in Father's Word; cause, if Father forgave him for all his sins which he committed, including the murder of Father's Prophets; then, know in your heart that, He can forgive you too.

21:18 Conclusion. Record and death.

II Kings 21:18 And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza (strength) (Ooz-zaw’): and Amon (skilled; or, builder) (aw-mone') his son reigned in his stead.   —>   Because his sins were so egregious, and even though he had turned his life around after having been taken into captivitylike several of the godless kings before him, the People didn't bury him in the king's sepulchers; no, they buried him in the garden of his own house.

Uzza=First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H5798, - עזּא, or עזּה, - ‛ûzzâ', or ‛ûzzâh, pronounced - ooz-zaw', or ooz-zaw', and means: Feminine of H5797; strength; Uzza or Uzzah, the name of five Israelites: - Uzza, Uzzah., and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “The spot in which Manasseh king of Judah and his son Amon were buried II Kings 21:18. It was the garden attached to Manasseh's palace. ver. 18. The fact of its mention shows that it was not where the usual sepulchres of the kings were. No clue, however, is afforded to its position..”

Amon= First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find it is Hebrew word number: H526, - אמון, - 'âmôn, pronounced - aw-mone', and means: The same as H525; Amon, the name of three Israelites: - Amon., and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “King of Judah, son and successor of Manasseh, reigned two years. Amon devoted himself wholly to the service of false gods, but was killed in a conspiracy, and was succeeded by his son Josiah..”

21:19-26 Amon
21:19-26 AMON. (Introversion. )
21:19 Introduction. Ascension.

II Kings 21:19 Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth (friend) (mesh-ool-leh'-meth), the daughter of Haruz (earnest; or, jealous) (khaw-roots') of Jotbah (pleasantness; or goodness) (Yot-baw').   —>   He reigned two years=I would like to say that maybe, just maybe, Amon would continue where his father Man-ash-sheh' ended up at the end of his reign, i.e. more righteous than when he began; however, since this verse says that Amon only reigned for two years, I think we can throw that wishful thinking out the window.

Meshullemeth=First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H4922, - משׁלּמת, - meshûllemeth, pronounced - mesh-ool-leh'-meth, and means: Feminine of H4918; Meshullemeth, an Israelitess: - Meshullemeth., and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “The daughter of Haruz of Jotbah, wife of Manasseh king of Judah, and mother of his successor, Amon II Kings 21:19..”

Haruz=First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H2743, - חרוּץ, - chârûts, pronounced - khaw-roots', and means: The same as H2742; earnest; Charuts, an Israelite: - Haruz., and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “A man of Jotbah, father of Meshullemeth queen of Manasseh II Kings 21:19..”

Jotbah= First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find it is Hebrew word number: H3192, - יטבה, - yoṭbâh, pronounced - yot-baw', and means: From H3190; pleasantness; Jotbah, a place in Palestine: - Jotbah., and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “The native place of Meshullemeth, the queen of Manasseh II Kings 21:19..”

21:20-22 Events. Personal. Evil-doing.

II Kings 21:20 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.   —>   Yep, sadly his mother, being Man-ash-sheh's wife, enjoyed too thoroughly the evil lifestyle that her husband had them participating in before he changed his ways; and now, we see that she passed them onto her 22 year old son for him to keep practicing, and re-establish for the People to worship in Jerusalem.

II Kings 21:21 And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:   —>   Even though Man-ash-sheh' had removed that abominable graven golden image of his asherah grove, all the idolatrous altars, false gods, the other graven images, and idols from Jerusalem, he didn't totally destroy them; and now, they're being brought back in to Jerusalem and probably even into Father's House for the king and the People to commit their idolatry.

Brethren, this is why I have stated many times throughout these Books of the Kings, “as the king goes, so goes the nation.” Why do I say this? Because,  if your kingin our case, our president, namely right now, obamais worshiping false gods, he is going to demand you do the same. Think I'm over-stressing, or over-exaggerating? What has happened; or, should I say, what has he demanded during his time in office? That we Christians forsake our Religious Beliefs and accept homosexuality and also assist in paying for abortions.

II Kings 21:22 And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.   —>   Man-ash-sheh's sonthe first which he had not put in the fire while serving his false god of molechdid just as his father had in his earlier life, before Father had him taken into captivity to trywhich we also know was successful—and get his attention.

21:23 Events. Political. Retribution.

II Kings 21:23 And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.   —>   Amon was just twenty four years old when he returned Home to Father, killed by his own servants.

21:24 Events. Political. Retribution.

II Kings 21:24 And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah (founded of YAH; or, whom YHVH heals) (Yo-she-yaw'-hoo) his son king in his stead.   —>   The common people who lived in the land of Judah did not like the way that Amon was running the country, and brethren, I’m here to tell you that, after a time you know that the righteous people will rise up against such wickedness, and try to put a stop to itour current (2016) Election is a good indicator of this as; we rejected the lunatic leftist agenda in order to try and restore order in our Country by electing President Elect Donald J. Trump to be our next Presidentand they conspired with the servants to murder him and appoint Amon's son Josiah to the throne of Judah.

The people in the House of Judah are beginning to act much like their brethren of the House of Israel before Father sent them into their captivity to the Assyrians, i.e., they're to the point that, if you don't like the current king, just murder him and appoint another in his place.

Josiah=First from the Strong’s Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H2977, - יאשׁיּה, or יאשׁיּהוּ, - yô'shı̂yâh, or yô'shı̂yâhû, pronounced - yo-she-yaw', or yo-she-yaw'-hoo, and means: From the same root as H803 and H3050; founded of Jah; Joshijah, the name of two Israelites: - Josiah., and now from the Smith’s Bible Dictionary: “The son of Amon and Jedidah, succeeded his father, in the eighty years of his age, and reigned 31 years. His history is contained in II Kings 22:1; II Kings 24:30; II Chronicles 34:1; II Chronicles 35:1 and the first twelve chapters of Jeremiah throw much light upon the general character of the Jews in his day. He began in the eighth year of his reign to seek the Lord; and in his twelfth year, and for six years afterward, in a personal progress throughout all the land of Judah and Israel, he destroyed everywhere high places, groves, images and all outward signs and relics of idolatry. The temple was restored under a special commission; and in the course of the repairs Hilkiah the priest found that book of the law of the Lord which quickened so remarkably the ardent zeal of the king. He was aided by Jeremiah the prophet in spreading through his kingdom the knowledge and worship of Jehovah. The great day of Josiah's life was the day of the passover in the eighteenth year of his reign. After this his endeavors to abolish every trace of idolatry and superstition were still carried on; but the time drew near which had been indicated by Huldah II Kings 22:20. When Pharaoh-necho went from Egypt to Carchemish to carry on his war along the seacoast. Necho reluctantly paused and gave him battle in the valley of Esdraelon. Josiah was mortally wounded, and died before he could reach Jerusalem. He was buried with extraordinary honors..”

21:25 Conclusion. Burial.

II Kings 21:25 Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?   —>   .Yes they are indeed written, and we've read some of what was written concerning him when I took us to II Chronicles 33. Had I continued even a little further, we would have read this also: II Chronicles 33:23 And humbled not himself before the LORD, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more..

21:26 Conclusion. Burial.

II Kings 21:26 And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah (founded of YAH; or, whom YHVH heals) (Yo-she-yaw'-hoo) his son reigned in his stead.   —>   And also like his father, because he multiplied his sins and trespasses, Amon was not buried with the righteous kings of Judah; but, they buried him in the garden of his own house.
