How To

*             The Covenants

                            and

               The Promises

Father tells us in Isaiah 43:26: Isaiah 43:26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.   —>   How can we do this if we don't know His Word well enough to plead with Him and put Him in remembrance of His Covenants and Promises; as, that is what He is telling us to put Him in remembrance of: His Covenants and Promises. You see, He isn't asking for us to do that because He doesn't know them or remember them; He is testing us to see if we know them.

What say you brethren, do you know Father's Covenants and Promises? Do you at least know where to find them in His Word? If you do, very good for you; however, if you don't; well, that is the reason for doing this little Study in His Word, to educate ourselves in order that we may indeed put Father in remembrance and plead with Him, thus showing ourselves approved and justified.

With that introduction being said, let's go to Father and ask Him for His Blessings on our Study of His Word: "Father, we come to you right now to thank you for inviting us to Your table in order that we might be able to partake of and receive Your Spiritual Meat, and Father, as we prepare to dine on the sustenance which sustains our inner man, we ask that You Oh LORD open our ears and eyes, that we might be able to hear and see your Truths, open our hearts and minds and prepare us in order that we may receive Your Truth. We Pray for Your Understanding of Your Word, we seek Your Knowledge in Your Word and most importantly Father, we Pray for and desire Your Wisdom from Your Word, in Jesus' Precious name we Pray, thank You Father, Amen."

So, where do we begin? Well the first thing we want to do is find out what the word “covenant” means. In the Strong's Concordance we find it is Hebrew word number: H1285, - בּרית, - berı̂yth, pronounced - ber-eeth', and means: From H1262 (in the sense of cutting (like H1254)); a compact (because made by passing between pieces of flesh): - confederacy, [con-]feder[-ate], covenant, league.. Now, let's look at two other places to find the meaning of this word, the first place we'll look is the Smith's Bible Dictionary; and then dictionary.com's definition of the word “covenant” and we find that it is: (1) An agreement, usually formal, between two or more persons to do or not do something specified.; or (2) Ecclesiastical. a solemn agreement between the members of a church to act together in harmony with the precepts of the gospel.. So, we see that a “Covenant” is the making of an agreement, bond, pact, or a promise between two or more people\persons.

Ok, so, now that we know and understand what the word “covenant” means from both a Biblical and a secular standpoint, let's now look at Father's name(s); two of them to be exact:of the many different designations, names, roles and titles of our Father contained in His Word(1) ELOHIM: on over 90% of the occasions when we read “God” in Father's Word, it translates to H430 in the Strong's Concordance; which, when we trace it out in the Strong's Concordance we find that it translates to: ELOHIM, the word “ELOHIM” is the plural of “EL,” (or possibly of “ELOAH”) and is the first name for Father given in the Tanakhor the Torah, i.e., the First five Books of Father's Word: i.e., Genesis; Exodus; Leviticus; Numbers and Deuteronomy: Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God (ELOHIM) created.... As such, in the traditional Hebrew\Israelite view, ELOHIM is the name of Father as the Creator and Judge of his universe. Dr. Bullinger states in his Companion Bible: “Elohim occurs 2,700 times. Its first occurrence connects it with creation, and gives it its essential meaning as the Creator..” (2) YHVHspelled out in the King James 1611 Bible as “Jehovah”: In the Tanakh it is His most frequent designation, occurring over 6,800 times. YHVH is the personal nameand therefore is the sacred namefor Father; though, we frequently read it as “LORD.” This is the ineffable or unutterable name of the God of Israel. Because it is composed of the four Hebrew letters Yod, Hey, Vav, Hey, it is also referred to as the “Tetragrammaton,” which simply means: “the four letters.” From Dr. Bullinger's Companion Bible we read: “While Elohim is God as the Creator of all things, Jehovah is the same God in covenant relation to those whom He has created (Cp. II Chron. 18:31). Jehovah means the Eternal, the Immutable One, He Who WAS, and IS, and IS TO COME. The Divine definition is given in Gen. 21:33. He is especially, therefore, the God of Israel; and the God of those who are redeemed, and are thus now "in Christ". We can say "My God," but not "My Jehovah", for Jehovah is "MY God.".”

Now let's focus on Father's Word and His Covenants and Promises, in order to find out what they are, and where they can be found.

That's really quite easy also as, all we have to do is look the word “covenant” up in our Strong's Concordance and we'll find that it lists every place the word is used in Father's Word; or, key the word “covenant” into the search engine on E-sword and it'll do the same. When we do so, we find that there are 272 verses, and 292 matches found in Father's Word for the word “covenant,” in the Pentateuch alone, there are 75 verses and 81 matches.

When we refine our search to “My Covenant” we find that there are 26 verses and 63 matches for that phrase alone. It is this phrase we'll examine in this Study. In the Book of Genesis we find that there are 14 usages of the phrase, and they are: Genesis 6:18; 9:9,11,13,15; 17:2,4,7,9,10,13,14,19,21. It is here that we'll begin, let me set the stage so to speak: Genesis 6 is the Chapter where Father tells Noah to build the ark. His reason for having Noah build the ark was because, as we discover when we read Genesis 6:1-6, mankind had committed a great grotesque evil and wickedness; for, they had corrupted themselves by mating with the “sons of God:” the angels; whoas we read in Jude 1:6...which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation,...,”left heaven, and came to the earth in order to mate with, and thereby try and corruptdestroy the seedline through which Father would become flesh as His only begotten Son: Jesus Christ, and provide the means for our Salvation.

So, let's start our examining of the passages which discuss Father's “covenant” in order that we may learn “His Covenants;” we begin in Genesis 6:18.

Genesis 6:18 But with thee will I establish My covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy son's wives with thee.   —>    Here is our first “covenant,” or more better put, here is the first covenant Father makes with man.

My covenant=So, this is the first “covenant” Father makes with flesh man in His Word; and what is the first “covenant” Father makes with flesh man? To save alive Noah, his wife, his sons, and his sons wives by putting them in the ark while He floods the earth.

Why is He going to flood the earth? Because, as I already stated above, mankind had committed a great grotesque evil of mating with the fallen angels. The offspring of these matings were the hybrid giants, i.e., Og, Goliath, his brother, who had 6 fingers on each hand and 6 toes on each footand others found throughout Father's Word; though, some of these came about after the second irruptionGenesis 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that...after Father destroyed man in the flood of Noah's day.

Continuing our examining of the passages which discuss Father's “Covenant,” we next come to Genesis 9 where we read of the flood waters having now receded, Noah, his wife, their sons and daughters-in-law, all the other people of the 6th day Creation, and all the animals which they had taken aboard with them have now departed the ark:

Genesis 9:8 And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,   —>   Here, as we see, Father addresses not only Noah; but, his sons as well, let's listen in and hear what He tells them:

Genesis 9:9 “And I, behold, I establish My covenant with you, and with your seed after you;   —>   He tells themas He had previously only told Noah in Genesis 6that He would establish His covenant with them, and with their seed after them.

Covenant=Mentioned seven times in verses v9:9-17.

Your seed after you=Seed as used here, is just as Father used it in Genesis 3:15it is Hebrew word number: H2233, - זרע, - zera, pronounced - zeh'-rah, and means: From H2232; seed; figuratively fruit, plant, sowing time, posterity: - X carnally, child, fruitful, seed (-time), sowing-time.where; Father talking to satan in his role of the serpent, who had just completed completely beguilingfirst from the Hebrew, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H5377, - נשׁא, - nâshâ', pronounced - naw-shaw', and means: A primitive root; to lead astray, that is, (mentally) to delude, or (morally) to seduce: - beguile, deceive, X greatly, X utterly., and now from the Greek, we find it is Greek word number: G1818, - ἐξαπατάω, - exapataō, pronounced - ex-ap-at-ah'-o, and means: From G1537 and G538; to wholly seduce: - beguile, deceive.Eve, tells satan that He would put enmity between himsatanand Eve, and between his offspringsatan and Eve's son: cainand Eve's offspringAdam and Eve's son: Abeland both their offspring throughout the rest of this Age of flesh man.

Anyway, what this “Your seed after you” means; is, “from umbilical cord to umbilical cord,” and it is referring to each generation passing it down to the next generation, continuing without end. In layman terms, it means that Father's covenant would be with Noah, his three sons: Japheth, Ham, and Shem, down to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, the twelve patriarchs, David, and so on; this is a “blood covenant” to each generation, and all generations. This is what is meant by inheritance, whether it be a promise, a law, or land; when it is given, it is perpetual. This is why communism is a Godless form of both government and doctrine. It terminates inheritance, and God given rights.

Genesis 9:10 And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.   —>   Let's look more closely at this word “creature,” we'll find that, in the Strong's Concordance, it is Hebrew word nunber: H5315, - נפשׁ, - nephesh, pronounced - neh'-fesh, and means: From H5314; properly a breathing creature, that is, animal or (abstractly) vitality; used very widely in a literal, accommodated or figurative sense (bodily or mental): - any, appetite, beast, body, breath, creature, X dead (-ly), desire, X [dis-] contented, X fish, ghost (this should read “spirit”), + greedy, he, heart (-y), (hath, X jeopardy of) life (X in jeopardy), lust, man, me, mind, mortality, one, own, person, pleasure, (her-, him-, my-, thy-) self, them (your) -selves, + slay, soul, + tablet, they, thing, (X she) will, X would have it., now let’s trace it back to H5314: H5314, - נפשׁ, - nâphash, pronounced - naw-fash', and means: A primitive root; to breathe; passively, to be breathed upon, that is, (figuratively) refreshed (as if by a current of air): - (be) refresh selves (-ed)., for further clarification, see Dr. Bullinger’s Companion Bible App 13.

What Father is saying here, is that, this particular covenant of His, is applicable to not only the Adamic seedline; but, to the 6th day created man,all the different races, ethnicitiesand all His animal and plant life which are upon His earth as well. Let's continue reading His Word and we'll see just what this particular covenant is:

Genesis 9:11 And I will establish My covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.”   —>   Father just said that this particular covenantpromiseis that He will never again destroy His earth by a flood of waters.

Establish=To be established means that it is still in existence, and it is a promise from Father to each of us, that He will never again cause a flood of water to overflow His earth. You can count on it.

Flood=This was not the first time Father flooded His earth to destroy it for, we read in ten verses in the New Testamenthalf of which are spoke by Jesusthe phrase, “foundation of the world.” Check out this word “foundation” in your Strong’s Concordance brethren and you’ll find that, it is Greek word number: G2602, - καταβολή, - katabolē, pronounced - kat-ab-ol-ay', and means: From G2598; a deposition, that is, founding; figuratively conception: - conceive, foundation., now, let’s continue tracing it back and check out the word G2598: G2598, - καταβάλλω, - kataballō, pronounced - kat-ab-al'-lo, and means: From G2596 and G906; to throw down: - cast down, lay.. What happened? We knowfrom Studying Father's Wordthat there was an Age before this present Age of Flesh man and that, we were all the “sons of God,” the angels, and as we read in Ezekiel 28 satan had worked his way up in Father’s “Government” to the position of “Protector of the Mercy Seat,” and then he became prideful and no longer wanted to be the protector of said seat, he now wanted to sit in that Seat, Father’s Seat, in other words, he now wanted to be Godit is what he wants still to this day and is what the controversy is all about between he and Father. What happened? There was war in heaven whereby one third of Father’s Children were deceived, or just decided they too desired to rebel against Father, one third basically said that “they’d sit on the sidelines and then join onto the side that won this conflict,” there was one third who basically said, “I love you Father; but, not enough to fight for\with You,” only a small hand-full fought with Father against satan and his angels. Father, not desiring to kill off any of His Children, decided to End the Age by bringing a flood upon His earth, this was the Katabole. We know further of this for, we can also read of it in Jeremiah 4: Jeremiah 4:22 For my people is foolish, they have not known Me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.   —>   Father is showing His disappointment in His childrenushere. The word “ sottish” in the Strong's Concordance is Hebrew word number: H5530, - סכל, - sâkâl, pronounced - saw-kawl', and means: From H5528; Silly: - Fool (-ish Sottish.. Father used the Hebrew word סכל, - sâkâl, it was the King James 1611 translators who translated it to “sottish,” they did so because they probably used the Celtic Breton word “sōt,” or “sōd,” both of which mean: stupid. Father is telling us that He is disappointed in His children because of their foolishness and stupidity in listening to and being deceived, by false preachers, and in doing so, they also very closely skirt on the edge of losing their salvation. Listen, for He says, “if you don't think that I am going to bring destruction of this Age at the Seventh and final Trumpet, you had better look back at the First Earth Age, because when satan rebelled and caused a third My Children to rebel with himthey, like your forefathers did while wandering the wildernesspushed Me just a little too far, and I destroyed that Earth Age.” Father is setting the stage for us here as to what He did to end that First Earth Age, and it is an example of what He is going to do at the end of this Age of Flesh man. He is reminding usHis childrenthat we have been foolish and always listen to man and their stupid traditions. Most of His children prefer not to study to His Word, but listen to the foolish doctrines of men's traditions. Who do you listen to, man or Father? The definition of one who has no knowledge, is stupid. There is only one place to gain the knowledge, and that is from our Father: and to gain His Knowledge and Wisdom, you must Study His Word. [4:23] I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.   —>   Father is telling us here exactly what He did to His earth before, this was in that First Earth Age, when He ended the Age that was. The “earth” spoken of here in the Strong's Concordance, is Hebrew word number: H776, - ארץ, - 'erets, pronounced - eh'-rets, and means: From an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large, or partitively a land): - Xcommon, country, earth, field, ground, land, Xnations, way, + wilderness, world.. We can read in Isaiah 45:18 where Father says He created His earth to be inhabited; Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the LORD That created the heavens; God Himself that formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.   —>   So, we now know how and why it became without form and void. He says that He did not create the earth a waste land and void, it became that way when He shook it because of satan's and His Children's rebellion. It is this here which explains the gap between verses 1:1 and 1:2 in Genesis 1. [4:24] I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.   —>   Imagine all the hills and mountains around this earth moving in one massive earthquake. This cannot be the flood during Noah's time; because, during that flood, Father didn't shake His earth, He only brought the rain for 40 days and 40 nights, which stayed upon the earth for 5 months. So, this definitely is a different flooding and this time there was a shaking too. [4:25] I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.   —>   Further proof that this was not the flood of Noah's day. Here there was no man; because, Father destroyed every being on the face of the earth; whereas, during the flood of Noah’s day, when He sent the rain to destroy the gibbor, all flesh was destroyed except those eight Adamic souls and two of every other race. Let's read it, it’s in Genesis 6: Genesis 6:19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring onto the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.   —>    The word “ flesh” in the Strong's Concordance, is Hebrew word number: H1320, - בשׂר, - bâśâr, pronounced - baw-sawr', and means: From H1319; flesh (from its freshness); by extension body, person; also (by euphemism) the pudenda of a man: - body, [fat, lean] flesh [-ed], kin, [man-] kind, + nakedness, self, skin.. So, as we see, from Father. He told Noah to take two of every race of man (including two of Cain's (satan's) offspring) and not just two of every animal, like most church houses teach. Again, we know this “ all flesh” means not just the animals because, when we go back towards the beginning of the chapter in Genesis 6 we read: Genesis 6:12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.   —>   Father wasn’t talking about the animals corrupting themselves i.e., bears mating with lions, dogs with tigers and the like, He was talking about man, males and females mating with same sex, mating with the fallen angles. So, Father destroyed all the birds and creatures, along with man in order to bring us into this Age. When we look at the plates of the land masses of the earth, it is obvious that there has been a shaking that took place. When satan fell in that First Earth Age, there was a flood and destruction that left nothing alive to survive into this Earth Age. Then when Noah's flood came, Father was careful to preserve all flesh, and to take two of every kind aboard the ark. Not only are the animals and birds flesh; but, all the races were flesh also, including the satan's offspring the kenites, those sons of Cain. [4:26] I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.   —>   Did you notice that there were ancient cities in the First Earth Age. We had them, and Father was head of our Government; but, when satan fell, Father destroyed all the cities, as well as every man and beast of the field. Father's Word does not disagree with science that the overthrow took place, and that this earth is millions, even billions of years old. However, most preachers today say that this earth is only 6,000 years old. Remember what Father called those people back in verse v4:22? Sottish stupid! They don't, won't, and can't read the manuscripts, and open their eyes to the evidence that is all around them and see the truths that Father has spoken in His Word. They like to argue a point in stupidity, and desire to stay away from II Peter 3, where Peter makes it clear that there are three Earth Ages. They can only understand what sits right before their eyes, and taught in their traditions. There are many sites scattered all around Father's green earth where there is physical evidence of creatures which existed, that just are not in existence today. If the earth is only six thousand years old, why do we have the skeletal remains of so many creatures which roamed the earth far before flesh man was created? And don't give me that old garbage line from the scientists that man descended from apes and there are those remains; because, if you, as a Christian, believe the scientists concerning that bunk, then you do not believe Father or His Word. Have you never read the story of the “ behemoth” in Job 40:15-19. It is the story of the dinosaurs which roamed the earth millions of years ago, which ate grass like the ox, and had the strength of a cedar tree in his tail. Father made this earth to be inhabited, but satan rebelled, and Father therefore destroyed the planet. So many people say, ” why can't we find flesh remains of those men and women that existed then?” We are living in the Flesh Age of man that is common only to this Earth Age. At the sounding of the seventh and last trumpet, at the coming of the Lord, all flesh will be changed then; also, as Paul states in I Corinthians 15I Corinthians 15:51 Behold I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, [15:52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   —>    This time is not very far off when all flesh bodies will take on the form of their incorruptible bodies, and Father's Elect will also take on their immortality into that incorruptible at that time also. All souls will be in their spiritual bodies then. [4:27] For thus hath the LORD said, “The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end. [4:28] For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.   —>   . There will be one more flood; however, as we read in Revelation 12 this flood will not be of waters; but, will issue forth from the mouth of our adversary satan, and his flood will cover the entire earth. We are told that that flood will not destroy Father's people because, that flood is a spiritual flood, one of lies and deceptions. However, Father’s Elect, those who are sealed in their minds with His Word, will know the truth, and just not buy into any part of the pretend-to-be-christ: antichrist'ssatan in his role as suchsystem.

Genesis 9:12 And God said, “This is the token of the covenant which I make between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:   —>   Token=A sign, in other words, Father just told us that He is going to give us a signone which we didn't even have to ask foras an assurance that He will never again flood by waters His earth to destroy it, or any of His creation. We'll read in the next verse, what this sign will be.

Perpetual=In other words, for all eternity, world without end.

Generations=The word “generations” as used here in this verse is H1755, - דּור, or דּר, - dôr, or dôr, pronounced - dore, or dore, and means: From H1752; properly a revolution of time, that is, an age or generation; also a dwelling: - age, X evermore, generation, [n-]ever, posterity., and is different from other places in Father's word where it is H8435, - תּולדה, or תּלדה, - tôledâh, or tôledâh, pronounced - to-led-aw', or to-led-aw', and means: From H3205; (plural only) descent, that is, family; (figuratively) history: - birth, generations..

Genesis 9:13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.   —>   Father's sign to Man,His Childrenis the rainbow which He sets in the sky and is visible when the sun shines during or immediately after a rain shower, which we view even to this day. It is the sign of His: for man, for the animal and plant life, for His earth,eh'-retsand as we'll read in the next verse, even for Himself, that He will never again destroy to a void wasteful desolationtohu-va-bohuHis Earth.

Genesis 9:14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:   —>   Did you notice the colon at the end of the verse, thus meaning the thought continues into the next verse?

Here Father is saying that it is He Who'll cause the rainbow to be seen in the sky; and He'll do so for a specific reason; and no, it is not to just look pretty, though they are pretty to look at. What is that reason? Let's continue reading and He'll explain it for us.

Genesis 9:15 And I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.   —>   When Father sees the rainbow which He sets in the sky, He'll remember His Covenant which He made with every living thing upon His earth, that He would never again flood His earth to destroy to it ruination.

Genesis 9:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.”   —>   .

Everlasting covenant=This expression occurs thirteen times in the Old Testament and once in the New Testament, and they are as follows: Genesis 9:16; 17:14,19; Leviticus 24:8; II Samuel 23:5; I Chronicles 16:17; Psalms 105:10; Isaiah 24:5; 55:3; 61:8; Jeremiah 32:40; Ezekiel 16:60; 37:26; and Hebrews 13:20.

Genesis 9:17 And God said unto Noah, “This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.”   —>   .
