GENESIS CHAPTER 8

NOAHs FLOOD CONTINUED

There are two very important lessons that Father will teach us in this Chapter: (1) He will never again destroy His earth by a flood of waters; and (2) He will always provide us, and we will always have, our four seasons of Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. In the next chapter, Genesis 9(Click here)He will make a covenant with His earth, and set a bow in the clouds to attest to this covenant: Genesis 9:11 And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. [9:12] And God said, This is the token of the covenant which make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
[9:13] I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
[9:14] And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: [9:15] And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. [9:16]And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.. The word Bow as used here in the next chapter in the Hebrew, in the Strong's Concordance, is Hebrew word number H7198 – qesheth, pronounced - keh'-sheth, meaning From H7185 in the original sense (of H6983) of bending; a bow, for shooting (hence figuratively strength) or the iris: -  X arch (-er), + arrow, bow ([-man, -shot]).. The rainbow we see after it rains is the bow that Father set in the sky as His covenant so He and we can look upon it and know that His covenant is still in place.

Genesis 8:1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged:   ->   We start the chapter with "And." That polysyndeton - meaning much more is taking place than is being said.

Father's Spirit - the Holy Ruach, is out and about the face of the earth ensuring that the hybrid giants are in fact destroyed from off the face of the earth - the reason He brought the flood in the first place. While His Spirit was about the face of the earth though, He also remembered Noah and those that were with him, and His promise that the rain would abate after forty days and the flood of water would start their return to the deep after 150 days.

Genesis 8:2 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven  was restrained;   ->   The first verse ended with a colon and this one with a semi-colon meaning that they both continue, so let us continue to the next verse as well.

Genesis 8:3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.    ->   Here in Genesis this flood of waters is now completely stopped and is returning, though in Revelation it is not a flood of waters but a flood of lies and deception which we can read about in Revelation 12:15
And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. [12:16]And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.   ->  Enough waters to cause a flood cannot come out of a persons mouth, but a flood of lies and deception can, and that is what this flood is. This flood is cast out of satan's mouth to cause the whole earth to follow after him - believing him to be Jesus. Will he be successful? According to Revelation 12:9 he will be.

How long does this verse say before the flood of waters was abated? After five months, that same five month time length that satan's flood of lies will be upon the earth as depicted in Revelation 9:5 And to them it was given that they should be tormented five months: and their torment wasas the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.   ->   Here in Genesis 8:3 it separates the flood of Noah's day from the flood that caused the end of the first earth age. Because in Noah's flood, the waters declined gradually and as we will see a little later, they took a full year to totally resend. In our study of Genesis 1, the flood that ended the first earth age - at the word spoken by the Holy Spirit - the "ruach" in the Hebrew, went away instantly.

Genesis 8:4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
->   Five months to the day that Father sealed Noah and his family and two of each race of the sixth day created man, and two of every animal and bird in the ark, the ark came to rest on Mount Ararat.

Ararat means high or holy ground, a mountainous district of Asia mentioned in the Bible in connection with the following events: - (1) As the resting place of the ark after the deluge Genesis 8:4; (2) As the asylum of the sons of Sennacherib II Kings 19:37; (3) As the ally, and probably the neighbor of Minni and Ashchenaz Jeremiah 5:27..

Genesis 8:5 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.   ->   They boarded the ark during the first month of the year - Abib and the ark rested on the fifth month - Ab, and the waters were receded in the tenth month - Tisri. In the future, the first day of the month of Tisri will be a Feast to the LORD - The Blowing of the Trumpets, and on the tenth day will also be a Feast Day to the LORD the Feast of the Day of Atonement.

Genesis 8:6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:

Genesis 8:7And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.   ->   The raven as we learn from Leviticus 11:15 is an unclean bird, and when Noah sent it out to see if the waters were dried up enough to be able to leave the ark, the raven didn't come back. This raven most likely found a dead carcass to scavenge off of to his fill. The lesson that Father wants us to glean from this is this: during the final generation, man, like this raven will be fending for himself not caring a bit for others around him nor for the things of our Father, just as it was at the end of the first earth age and will be again at the end of Jesus' 1,000 year millennial reign.

Genesis 8:8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;

Genesis 8:9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.   ->
Unlike the raven, the dove is a clean bird, and as such, the dove refuses to allow her feet to touch the grime and filth that was upon the earth after the flood (man today should be as the dove and not touch the filth of Traditions of man; false doctrines; and homosexuality that is being pushed upon us by the atheists and ungodly persons and sadly even beth-aven). The dove does not live by partaking of the garbage and dead things, rather, she returned to Noah in the ark. Upon her return to him, it signaled to Noah the sign that the earth was not yet ready for him and all the others to disembark the ark.

In several places in the New Testament, Father uses the dove symbolically to represent His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is also in control and ready to give us the proper indications for the signs of our times. And at the end of the five month period of time which will mark the end of our flesh age, He will give us all the necessary indications to know what we are to do. We can receive those instructions now, for God recorded them in His Scriptures, through the prophets, and we are to seal those instructions away in our minds. The dove cared for the living, and came back to the ark, and the Holy Spirit also cares for the living, spiritually.

Genesis 8:10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;

Genesis 8:11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.   ->   As we learned in verse 5 above, the tops of the mountains were seen of the "first" day of the month and then Noah stayed for another 7 days which then make each of these seven day stays a Sabbath day.

The dove returns to Noah this time with an "Olive Leaf" which was "pluckt off" of a Living tree, indicating that the earth is Now ready to receive Noah and all those that were on the ark with him. This gives rise to the fact that vegetation is now growing upon the earth and also that life exists outside the ark. This is important as the word "leaf" in the Hebrew, in the Strong's Concordance is Hebrew word number
H5929 -‛âleh, pronounced - aw-leh' meaning - From H5927; a leaf (as coming up on a tree); collectively foliage: - branch, leaf.. In other words, it was newly sprouted up or put another way, it was "freshly grown."

This flood here during Noah's time is completely different from the flood described by Jeremiah the Prophet. In Jeremiah 4:23 Father tells us through Jeremiah, that He destroyed the whole earth at the end of the first earth age. We know they are different because here in Genesis 8, there was Noah and his family, all the races and the animals that were with them in the ark. In Jeremiah 4 Father says it was all destroyed: Jeremiah 4:23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.   ->   The earth was a wasted wilderness, a  ruin that could sustain no life. Jeremiah 4:24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
->   None of this happened during Noah's flooding - the hills didn't move, it only rained for 40 days and nights. Jeremiah 4:25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.   ->   During this flood of Genesis 8, we have man still, both of Noah and his family and of the 6th day created races. Jeremiah 4:26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by His fierce anger.   ->   There were cities during the first earth age that we lived in, but when satan fell and drew that one third of Father's children with him, Father got so angry that He destroyed everything. Jeremiah 4:27 For thus hath the LORD said, "The whole land shall be desolate; yet I will not make a full end.   ->   He knew that He would usher in the second earth age of flesh man just as He knows He will again destroy this age and usher in Jesus' 1,000 year millennial reign, and then at the end of the millennium, He will again destroy and shake this earth, thereby preparing His earth for the final age - the Eternity.

Genesis 8:13 And it came to pass in the sixth hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

Genesis 8:14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.
->   Genesis 7:11 told us "...In the sixth hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened." So we see that it has now been one solar year from when the waters began to be upon the earth until they were dried up from being upon the earth.

Genesis 8:15 And God spake unto Noah, saying,   ->   "God" - Elohim, the Creator, speaking from without, we can compare this with Genesis 7:16 and Genesis 8:1.

Genesis 8:16 "Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.   ->   Noah being the obedient one that he was, waited on the LORD to tell him to take himself and is wife; and his sons and their wives and disembark the ark. Here though History (His story) ends with mentioning the 6th day created races, and unless the Adamic seedline comes back into contact with them, they will not be mentioned in His story. The story will center around the Adamic seedline.

We too living in the end and final generation of flesh, need to be as patient as Noah and his family were, while we wait upon Father to command us as He will to fulfill His will. Nothing happens without His knowledge, nothing can happen without His allowing it to come to pass, even satan cannot do anything without Father allowing him.

Jesus told us in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 to be patient and not become pregnant with the lies and deception that will come upon the earth just prior to His return. That is what He meant when He said in Matthew 24:19 And woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!. To be pregnant and give birth to children is a Blessing from Father, not a cursing. Jesus was warning us to be patient,  but sadly man, like satan, twists what Father says out of the true context from the original meaning that it was meant for.

There should be no surprises as to what is to take place in these latter days, for every detail is written in His Word, the Bible, and all the protection we need is given to us. Yet Christians simply do not trust God, and have allowed satan's kids, the kenites, create a lie, and false hope, so they do not have to trust God.

We have God's commandments, and guide book (the Bible); and in it we can follow God's plan completely laid out for us, so there will be no confusion. The times of the end have started, and our "ark" is not a physical one like Noah's, but it is a spiritual ark, built with words and ideas that come straight from God's Holy word. The flood will not be with water in these final days, but through the lies and deceptions pouring forth from the mouth of Satan, and God will allow it. When your spiritual ark is built within your mind, that understanding is your protection from the flood of the Antichrist, and God will place the seal upon you and your mind. Noah trusted God for protection, and built that ark which took one hundred and twenty years.

The building of your ark takes time, and study in his word, and the only way that you will survive this latter day flood is to take time to do it. That is why we are taking God's Word in a verse by verse study, for it is all important and requires a lot of detailed study.

Genesis 8:17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, bothof fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth."   ->   Again, the 6th day created races were to come off the ark and go there way and multiply abundantly to repopulate the earth, so also all the birds, cattle and insects; and also the Adamic seedline through which Father Himself would come.

"Bring forth" - Elohim speaking from without in comparison to verse 16 above (from within).

Genesis 8:18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him:

Genesis 8:19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, andwhatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.   ->   There is no error or disparity here in these verses, Noah and his family went their way, and the 6th day created races went their way, the ways were separated.

Genesis 8:20And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.   ->   This is the very first time the word "altar" Hebrew word number H4196 -mizbêach, pronounced - miz-bay'-akh meaning - From H2076; an altar: - altar.. Now let’s look at H2076 - zâbach, pronounced - zaw-bakh' and means: A primitive root; to slaughter an animal (usually in sacrifice): - kill, offer, (do) sacrifice, slay..

"Burnt offerings" in the Hebrew in the Strong's Concordance is Hebrew Word number H5930 - ‛ôlâh or ‛ôlâh, pronounced - o-law', o-law', meaning - Feminine active participle of H5927; a step or (collectively stairs, as ascending); usually a holocaust (as going up in smoke): - ascent, burnt offering (sacrifice), go up to. See also H5766.
In other words this is referring to the smoke and flames that rise in the consuming of the offering totally. It conveys the message of totally consuming or giving over to God, and asking for God's acceptance of it.

"The LORD" meaning YHVH - The Covenant God, in Covenant-relationship with His children.

Noah is giving back to God one seventh of what he has, yet it is a blessing that we can give back to God.

Genesis 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in His heart, "I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.   ->   As we read here - it WAS Father that brought on the destruction of His earth because of man's wickedness and corruption and the hybrid giants, however, He will never again destroy His earth by water as we read in Genesis 9:13.

Genesis 8:22While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."   ->   And man says there is global warming - Ha! Father promised there would always be the seasons, days and nights, a time to plant and a time to gather in the crops.

This covenant between YHVH - God and Noah, and us, is unconditional in relation to His earth and the heavenly bodies around it. When God makes a covenant, He keeps His word. This earth is not going to burn up in any nuclear war, or by the sun. Why? Because God said it would not.

Will satan destroy the earth? Definitely not; God WILL NOT ALLOW him to, for satan, the antichrist (instead of Jesus in the Greek) is the "prince of the earth, and when he is cast out of heaven by Michael, he is coming to earth to rule. Upon his arrival to earth, satan wants you, and all mankind, to believe that he is your Messiah, and this is why he will be a strong environmentalist. In fact he as well and the entire locust army of fallen angels will be of the same mind. The total destruction spoken of by the prophet Joel is for the truth of God's word. It is a spiritual void that will cover the whole earth, except for those who are sealed by God, prior to the coming of the antichrist.

Satan intends to control the world as King and Savior, and to be the provider and protector for you, and all of mankind. In return he expect you loyalty and commitment to him in gratitude.
