I CHRONICLES CHAPTER 29

The year is 920B.C., and we find the Nation of the House of Israel and the reign of its second man king, king David, coming to a close. David, who is now 70 years oldand within the last few days of his life here in the fleshand who has reigned and ruled the Nation for the past 40 years, is handing the reins of the Nation over to his son SolomonSolomon has already been anointed as king back in I Chronicles 23 and well read of his second anointing, and being set as king over the Nation in verse v29:22as he prepares to return Home to Father. It is this Chapter which closes out the reign and rule of David and also closes out this Book of I Chronicles.

With that introduction being said, lets go to Father and ask Him for His Blessings on our Study of His Word: Father, we come to you right now to thank you for inviting us to Your table in order that we might be able to partake of and receive Your Spiritual Meat, and Father, as we prepare to dine on the sustenance which sustains our inner man, we ask that You Oh LORD open our ears and eyes, that we might be able to hear and see your Truths, open our hearts and minds and prepare us in order that we may receive Your Truth. We Pray for Your Understanding of Your Word, we seek Your Knowledge in Your Word, and most importantly Father, we Pray for and desire Your Wisdom from Your Word, in Jesus Precious name we Pray, thank You Father, Amen.

I Chronicles 29:1 Furthermore David (loving; and, well-beloved) (Daw-veedי) the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon (peaceful; and, peaceful) (shel-o-moי) my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.   —>   Furthermore= This indicates to us that this is a continuation ofand no separation between this verse\Chapter andI Chronicles 28.

…whom alone God hath chosen…=It was Father Who chose first Saul as the first man-king to reign and rule over the NationFather used Saul as an example of what a man-king should not be as, Saul couldnt find his own ass(es)donkeysFather next chose David because it was young David who showed no fear when king Saul and all the Israelite army coward before the giant, but yet, young 15 year old David proclaimed to the king: I Samuel 17:37 David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, He will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.. Then, while standing before Goliath, he proclaimed to the giant: I Samuel 17:45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, Whom thou hast defied. [46] This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. [47] And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORDS, and He will give you into our hands. David trusted in Father with all his heart and proudly declared that He would give the victory and because of such Faith, Father made him the second man-king over His People Israel. Not only that but, because of Davids pure heart and never serving any false gods, Father told David that his line would continue to rule as kings forever. Was David a perfect man? No, but again, he never served any god but Fatherafter David, Father next chose Davids sonthough not his oldest sonSolomon. When was it that He chose Solomon? We can read of David declaring this twice here in these Books of the Chronicles, i.e., I Chronicles 22:7-10 and I Chronicles 28:5; and also Fathers Prophet Nathan who received Word from Father to pass on to David when he decided he wanted to build Father a House as we read in II Samuel 7:8-16, from which well read: II Samuel 7:8 Now therefore so shalt thou say unto My servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My People, over Israel:   —>   LORD of hosts=This is Father in His role of צְבָאָהssיְהֹוָה, YHVH Tsevaיot, The LORD of the ArmiesHoststhe Hebrew word Tsevaיot means Army. From Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible, Page 367, Companion Note to verse I Samuel 1:3, Denotes the God of Israel as the LORD of all hosts of heaven and earth.. I took=It is Father Who chooses each of us to fulfill His roles. It was He Who chose Abraham, Isaac, Jacobwhom He later renamed Israeland then Moses and his brother Aaron to lead our forefathers up, out of their bondage to the Egyptians, then, first Saul and then David to be the first two men-kings over the House of Israel; much the way it was He Who told Jeremiah in Jeremiah 1:5 that it was He Who chose him before He formed him in his mothers belly, and, while he was growing in his mothers womb, Father anointed him to be a prophet for Father, as also it was He Who chose Saulwhom He later renamed Paulwhom He chose to record and write the majority of the New Testament of His Word. [7:9] And I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies out of thy sight, and have made thee a great name, like unto the name of the great men that are in the earth.   —>   Cut off all thine enemies=David got the credit for his slaying of tens of thousands of Philistines, even Goliath; however, it was Father Who deserved the credit because, as He states here, it was He Who gave David his victories over each and every one of his enemies. Remember what Father told David in II Samuel 5:23-24? When you hear Me move My army by the shaking of the trees overhead, then is the time for you charge forth. Father set the enemy running and David did the mopping up. If you stop and look back in your own life, you too will see how Father was there all along moving in your life also, and that is what He is telling David here, to stop and look back at the things which I have done for you already, and this should give you confidence in His faithfulness to you now. [7:10] Moreover I will appoint a place for My People Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,   —>   This declaration is actually a covenant by Father to all the People of the Nation of the House of Israel, and He would have upheld His end of the covenant, had Israel remained true and faithful and served Him only. But, man is man, and man falls short, and the Nation of Israel, just like their first man king Saul, turned from serving Father YHVH only, and served the gods of the nations all around them, and because of it, Father plucked them up, first the House of Israel the ten northern tribes by the Assyrians, and then the House of Judah the tribes of Judah, Benjamin and a sprinkling of Manasseh and Levites by the Babylonians. The Assyrians held the House of Israel captive until Father had the Assyrians scatter them to the four corners of the earth, the Babylonians held the House of Judah captive only for seventy years, and then Father raised up Darius who allowed them to return to Jerusalem in order to rebuild it. Even in our current Generation1948-presentin 1948 Father gave the Nation of Israel, through the UN, her own land which she still resides in today, and when her enemies which surrounded her and were encompassing her to retake her lands, Father gave her a grand victory over all her enemies, in 6 days she totally defeated each one who was coming against her. But, just like in the past, as time wore on, she turned and served other false gods, and now she again is faced with an enemy who is closing in on her. This is no different than we here in the USA part of the scattered tribes of Israel, we too Father planted and made the greatest Nation on all the earth, and we were great until we too turnedonce againfrom serving Father only, in order to serve other false gods, and now we too have fallen. Today, 2019, our enemy isnt only from without this country; but, also from within, Congress and Senate who fail and refuse to uphold their oaths of Office. This is also prophesy as, it not only applied to this Age; but, it looks forward to the Millennium age, that time when Jesus Christ, Emmanuel is here on earth dwelling with us. This takes place after the Second Advent. Look around you today, for there is plenty of wickedness in the world today. If there is any wickedness around you, Christ has not yet returned. The key to understanding what is being said here, is in the key of David, it is that Christ, Emmanuel God with usshall come through Davids loins. Father took David from the tending sheep in the sheepcote, and made him king. Then through that removing of those kingly garments, and putting on the robe of humility, David demonstrated the work of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. [7:11] And as since the time that I commanded judges to be over My People Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the LORD telleth thee that He will make thee an house.   —>   The LORD telleth thee that He will make thee an house=Here is the promise and the covenant of the future for those who do righteous. In verse vII Samuel 7:14 below, Ill bring in from I Chronicles 17:14 Fathers declaration which ties it all together. Focus on the spiritual side of this verse, for, this house is made up of believers. So, the house that father was speaking of here, is the house spoken of by Jesus in John 2: John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.   —>   It is the body of Christ, through David That is The key of David. Father has a plan, and when we try to stay with His plan, we are being pleasing to Him. [7:12] And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.   —>   Again, this promise by Father is two-fold as, it is in reference to Solomon who will next rule the kingdom of Israel; but also, of Nathan, from whose seed will come Father in the flesh as His only begotten Son: Jesus Christ. The next three verses are why we came here: [7:13] He shall build an house for My name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.   —>   He shall build an house for My name=Again, as I explained in my commentary in verse v28:4 above, it was Solomon who was the royal seedline and built the Temple in Jerusalem for all to come and worship Father in. [7:14] I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:   —>   I will be his Father, and he shall be My son=Here, Father is telling David that, He will be as a Father to Solomon and Solomon will be as a son to Father, so long as he lives righteously, serving and worshipping no other gods. …if he commit iniquity…=Of course, our Lord Jesusbeing and knowing He was and is Emanuel God in the fleshnever committed any iniquity, so this verse is directed directly at Solomon, who did commit much iniquity by his worshiping the false gods and idols of his many wives and concubines. It was because of Solomons iniquity, that Father divided the Nation of Israel into two separate Houses. Not only did our Lord Jesus not have any iniquity; but, as is declared in Isaiah 53, He took the stripes in order that we get the healing from our sins: Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with His stripes we are healed.. [7:15] But My mercy (loving kindness) shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. —>
Fathers love for His Son will never be removed from His Son because, you cannot remove the love for oneself. Sadly, too many Christians believebecause they have been taughtthat Father did indeed remove His love from Jesus, or at least, Jesus thought He did. How or why do I make this claim? Because, many Christians have been taught that as Jesus hung on that cross dying, He stated in Matthew 27:46 and mark 13:53: Mark 15:34 Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?   —>   What they fail to realize in their misinterpretation of Fathers Word though, is, that, Jesus was teaching us while He was dying on that cross, in other words, He was quoting and reciting Psalms 22 the entire Psalm, in which David starts with the phrase My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?. Unlike our Lord Who will never be rejected by Father, Saul on the other hand, was rejected as the first man king of Israel by our Father because of his disobedience and rejecting of Father and His Word. On more than one occasion did Father give Samuel guidance to give to Saul in what he should do, and in just about every one of those cases, Saul did just the opposite. Saul never sought out Father such as he sought out the witch of Endor with his whole heart. [7:16] And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.  —>   …thine house…=This is not speaking of a building, it is in reference to the many membered body of Christ, the same one He spoke of when contending with the Jews in John 2:18-21 saying: John 2:18 Then answered the Jews and said unto Him, What sign shewest Thou unto us, seeing that Thou doest these things? [2:19] Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this Temple, and in three days I will raise it up. [2:20] Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this Temple in building, and wilt Thou rear it up in three days? [2:21] But He spake of the Temple of His body.   —>   Yes, His flesh body, but, He was also referring to His many membered body, which is called the church, or believers. …established for ever…=This is a covenant that Father had made with David. It is a Covenant of Salt which Father gave to him concerning his Descendant The True David Jesus Christ. There are three separate and distinct subjects being spoken of here, which are all tied together: the house, the kingdom, and the throne. From the time that David was anointed as the second man king of Israel, all three of these things have been in existence, and their existence will continue until this earth age is over. Why? Because Father established them, and He protects them. At the end of this Age, during the Millennium and the Eternity, Jesus will be the King Who rules over the House, the Kingdom and the Throne.

…the palace…=This word is not a Hebrew word, it is of foreign derivation or orign. It actually assists in the dating of these Books of the Chronicles as, it is of Aramean or Chaldee origination. Thus we can then come to the knowledge that these Books were written after our forefathers return from their 70 year captivity to Babylonand since the Books of the Chronicles were written after the return, we know, as Father tells us, who had their hand in the writing, the kenite scribes: I Chronicles 2:55 And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.. This is the first usage of the word, and there are 15 usages which follow it, once more here in I Chronicles, i.e., I Chronicles 29:7, and then 10 times in the Book of Ester: 1:2,5; 2:3,5,8,15; 8:14; 9:6,11,12; 3 in Nehemiah: 1:1; 2:8; 7:2; and once in Daniel: 8:2.

God=As used in this verse, this is אלהים, ELOHIMfrom Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible Appendices, : ELOHIMthe genus God, in other words, Father in His role of Creator of all things. From Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible, Appendix 4: ELOHIM occurs 2,700 times. Its first occurrence connects it with creation, and gives it its essential meaning as the Creator. It indicates His relation to mankind as His creatures (see note on II Chronicles 18:31, where it stands in contrast with YEHOVAH as indicating covenant relationship). ELOHIM is God the Son, the living WORD with creature form to create (John 1:1; Colossians 1:15-17; Revelation 3:14); and later, with human form to redeem (John 1:14). Begotten of His Father before all worlds; born of His mother, in the world. In this creature form He appeared to the Patriarchs, a form not temporarily assumed.. Dr. Bullinger further notes in his Companion notes to this verse, that (with Art.) = the [true] God..

David=I could spend days discussing David and his life; literally, an entire BookII Samuelcovered most of what David accomplished as king of Israel. David was a man after Fathers own heart, and though he made a few mistakes, David always tried to please Father in all that he did; therefore, Father loved David; so much so that, He chose David as the Line to bring forth the Branch, The Bright Morning Star, Immanuel\Emmanuel, God in the Flesh: Jesus. Even though Father chose David, it doesnt mean that David never sinned as, David indeed did sin. He committed adultery with the wife of one of his soldiers; and, then had that soldier murdered by ordering his being put on the front lines of the hottest part of the battle. David was not perfect; however, he was obedient in the end; and, in the end, he left judgment in Fathers hand. All the other kings of Judah and some of the kings of Israel will be judged; or, compared to David; and, the one thing which can always be said of David, is that, not one time had David ever fallen away into idolatry. But, what else can we take away from David? If you sin: repent to Father and then leave the correction and judgment in Fathers hands. While researching the etymology of the name David we find that most Bible translators and commentator will render the name David as Beloved; but, as always with important names, the etymology of the name David is disputed. However, we cant help noticing the distinct similarity of this name with the Hebrew root דוד (dwd) that yields דוד (dod), generally meaning beloved. This word is also the Hebrew word for uncle I Chronicles 27:32, for instance, speaks of דוד־דויד, or Davids uncle: The distinct difference between the name דוד (David) and the word דוד (dod) is that in the name David the letter waw counts for a consonant, while in the word dod it counts for a vowel. A consonant and a vowel are completely different entities and theyll never mean the same, no matter how many times you write them with the same symbol (in this case the waw). If the name was meant to mean Beloved, then it was perhaps given to David after he became king and beloved. In his fathers household he wasnt much of a hit, after all. But then, if this name was meant to mean Beloved, why hasnt history given us the tales of King Dod? Harris Archer Waltke (HAW) Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament lists David under dod but admits that the name is conjectured to come from dod, beloved, but the etymology is uncertain. It has been compared with the Mari term dawidum, Lsquo;leader, but this too is unsure. Brown Driver Briggs (BDB) Theological Dictionary too lists the name David under the derivations of the root dod, but also makes mention of A.H. Sayces note of a sun-god named Dodo — דודה — which was worshipped in East-Jordan Israel. Zion, now known as the city of David, was then apparently known as the city of the god Dod. But where Dod went the way of the dodo, king David is eternally remembered as the beloved king. And this is curious for more than one reason. But whatever the reason, Israels identity of a Kingdom is associated with a king whose name is not a regular Hebrew word, but which is spelled identical to the word for Beloved, and pronounced completely different. Perhaps, and this is a wild guess, the name Dod was altered to David to charge it with the tone of the word דוה (dawa), meaning infirmity.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H1732, - דּוד, or דּויד, - dâvid, or dâvı̂yd, pronounced - daw-veed, or daw-veedי and means: From the same as H1730; loving; David, the youngest son of Jesse: - David. Total KJV occurrences: 1076.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we find that the description of David in the Smiths Bible Dictionary is extensive and too long to post here; so, Ill instead just post the link to it: David.

Solomon=Solomon was one of, if not the greatest king to rule Israel. Though his father David was and is the king by which all other kings were compared against, it was Solomon who Father came to in that dream where He asked Solomon Ask what I shall give thee? Solomon replied in I Kings 3: I Kings 3:6 And Solomon said Thou hast shewed unto Thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before Thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with Thee; and Thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that Thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day. [3:7] And now, O LORD my God, Thou hast made Thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in. [3:8] And Thy servant is in the midst of Thy People which Thou hast chosen, a great People, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude. [3:9] Give therefore Thy servant an understanding heart to judge Thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this Thy so great a People?. He took over the throne from his father when he was at the tender age of 19he wasnt Israels youngest king, there were several others who had that distinctionand he reigned for forty years, from 920–880B.C., he was 59 years old when he returned Home to Father in heaven. Solomon accomplished a lot of things during his reign, and a lot of good things. For the first 20+ years he did very well: He built the Temple; the palatial complex; the House of the Cedar of Lebanon; the house for pharaoh's daughter: the queen; and he brought in much gold and other sundries. It wasn’t until he got the big head after he completed all his building and Father appeared to him, Blessing him with all the wisdom he had, and then wanting to show off that Father Given Wisdom. It was then he started succumbing to the lust of the flesh, and he started accumulating his wives and concubines, and then started worshipping and building altars for his foreign wives false gods, and causing Israel to worship them too. Remember, all of the things that Solomon and Israel did, bringing in the wealth of the world by ships, and it happened in a short span of only forty years. The etymology name Solomon comes from the fertile and familiar root שלם (shalem), meaning to be unbroken or whole: The noun שלמה (shilluma) is identical to our name Sholomoh, and is used in Psalm 91:8 in the meaning of reward or recompense (of the wicked). This illustrates the perhaps anti-intuitive notion that a bad result of something that was bad to begin with, is still very good (or rather: just). Although Psalm 91 is anonymous and tradition demands that Solomon is the great peace-king, his name may have stemmed from Davids deep remorse and grief over losing Solomons older sibling. When Solomon is born, the prophet Nathan receives word from Father that this child is loved by Him. Hence He names him JedidiahThe name Jedidiah is a combination of two elements: The second element of the name Jedidiah is יה, which is the commonly accepted abbreviated form of the Tetragrammaton יהוה, which is YHVH, or Yahveh, the sacred Name of Father. The first element of the name Jedidiah comes from the verb ידד (yadad) , meaning to loveas can be read in II Samuel 12:25, although this name is, sadly, never again used.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H8010, - ש למה, - shelômôh, pronounced - shel-o-moי, and means: From H7965; peaceful; Shelomoh, Davids successor: - Solomon. Total KJV occurrences: 293.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: The description of Solomon in the Smiths Bible Dictionary is extensive and too long to post here; so, Ill instead just post the link to it: Solomon.

I Chronicles 29:2 Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.   —>   There is much to be discussed with this verse brethren:

Lets start with the word and number of and(s) in this verse. First off, we know that when we see multiple and(s) in a singular or successive verses, we know that it is a polysyndetonin other words, they are used to highlight and emphasize each detail and pointsecondly, note the number used here in this verse, 7, the number for Spiritual Perfection and Completeness.

David had provided much of the materials needed to build Fathers Temple and for the instruments and vessels which were to be used in the Worship of Him. He had even donated very much of his own personal wealth because he knew that everything he had came from Father. It was Father Who gave him his victory over Goliath and every other enemy he faced. It was Father Who gave him his victories over every nation which surrounded Israel whereby David could put them to tribute and have the wealth the Nation of Israel enjoyed.

…things to be made of gold…=These were the golden candlesticksthe menorahand their holders which were used both inside the Holiest of Holies and in the Holy Place just outside the Holiest of Holies, the table of shewbread, the golden Altar of Incense, the sacrificial and other tables, fleshhooks, basons, bowls, cups and all the other instruments and vessels which the Priests will be utilizing in their course of service of ministering to Father as they Worshipped Him. Some of these gold items were made entirely of pure refined goldpure gold because, PropitiationAtonement, Reconciliation and Redemptionis a Divine work throughoutwhile some were made of gold which was not quite as refined and pure as other itemsa good example is the carat measurement used to describe the purity of gold based on 24 whole parts. 24-carat gold is defined as 100 percent pure. 18-carat gold is considered 75 percent pure because only 18 of its 24 parts are gold. Fourteen-carat gold is 58.3 percent pure, as 14 out of its 24 parts are made of gold, and 10-carat gold is 41.6 percent pure, with only 10 of its 24 parts consisting of goldsome were made of solid goldthink of Fathers Mercy Seatand some were items, instruments and vessels which were made of wood which was then overlaid with golditems such as the table of Shewbread. Some itemsagain, think of Fathers Mercy Seat and the cherubims which sat a top Itwere of a beaten work, while other items were fashioned by first making a mold and then pouring the gold into it.

…things to be made of silver…=Silver also denoting Redemption. These were the tables and lampstands which were used outside the Holy place but within Fathers House, i.e., inside the treasuries and such. The Silver candlesticks were most likely small individual candlesticks which the were able to carried by those whose duties inside the Temple could see by, i.e., the porters whose duty it was to be the overseers of the treasuries and such. Like the gold items, some of these silver items were made entirely of pure refined silver, while some were made of silver which was not quite as refined and pure as other items. Some items were of a beaten work, while other items were fashioned by first making a mold and then pouring the silver into it.

…things to be made of brass…=Brass denoting Judgment in Righteousness. These were basons, cups, firepans, fleshhooks, and shovels, all things which the Priests used outside where they slaughtered the sacrificial animals. Brass pins, rings and sockets were used to hang the curtains, secure the boards and such. Again, like the gold and silver items, some of these brass items were made entirely of pure refined copper, while some were made of copper and zink metals which were not quite as refined and pure as other items. Some items were of a beaten work, while other items were fashioned by first making a mold and then pouring the copper into it.

…things to be made of iron…=Iron was found in Egypt as early as 2,800B.C.. Iron was used to make tools and such.

…wood for things of wood…=The wood was the Cedar and Fir trees which Davidand later his son Solomon will alsohad commissioned to be gotten from Lebanon. The wood was used as both beams and paneling. There were also things which were made of wood and covered or overlaid with goldthink of how the staves for Fathers Ark were made of wood and then overlaid with gold.

…onyx stones…=When we look up the word onyx in the Strongs Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H7718, - שֹׁהַם, - shôham, pronounced - shoי-ham, and means: From an unused root probably meaning to blanch; a gem, probably the beryl (from its pale green color): - onyx. Total KJV occurrences: 11.. As we see from the Strongs, there are only 11 uses in all the KJV Bible, and only 1 of those uses is mentioned in any way, shape, or form in connection with Fathers Temple, and that usage is in I Chronicles 29:2, when David says that he collected Onyx Stones, there is no mention that Solomon ever used any of these stones in any construction or decoration of Fathers Temple.

…stones to be set…=These were gem stones which were in settings, but again, like the Onyx Stones above, there is no mention that Solomon ever used any of these stones in any construction or decoration of Fathers Temple. With that being said, there is a unique thing concerning these stones to be set. We find that, it in the Strongs Concordance, is the same Hebrew word number: H4394, as that of the word Consecration. Another unique thing about this Hebrew word number H4394, is that it only appears a total of 15 times in the KJV Bible, and 9 of those times are used in connection with the word Consecration.

…glistering stones…=Lets check out this word glistering in our Strongs Concordance brethren. When we do, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H6320, - פּוּךְ, - pûk, pronounced - pook, and means: From an unused root meaning to paint; dye (specifically stibium for the eyes): - fair colours, glistering, paint [-ed] (-ing) Total KJV occurrences: 4.. So, what we can gather from these glistering stones is that they were stones which had a pigment in them, and our forefathers would crush them and the women could then be able to paint their eyes, sort of like applying eyeliner today.

…divers colours…=Heres another word which we need to check out in our Strongs Concordance brethren. This word in the Strongs is Hebrew word number: H7553, - רִקְמָה, - riqmâh, pronounced - rik-mawי, and means: From H7551; variegation of color; specifically embroidery: - broidered (work), divers colours, (raiment of) needlework (on both sides). Total KJV occurrences: 12.. These would be items which were made of fine twined linen, think of the curtains which were hung in the inner and outer courts, table cloths and other such items. Of other note could be that these divers colours were the veins which ran through the marble stones which we also see in this verse.

…precious stones…=Some of these were small precious gem stones, while others were large stones which were cut, dressed and finished while they were still at the quarry. The reason for their being cut dressed and finished at the quarry was because there wasnt any axe, hammer, or tool of iron used at the construction site.

…marble stones…=Marble in the Strongs Concordance, is Hebrew word number: H7893, - שַׁיִשׁ, - shayish, pronounced - shahי-yish, and means: From an unused root meaning to bleach; that is, whiten; white, that is, marble: - marble. See H8336. Total KJV occurrences: 4.. Like the precious stones, these marble stones were cut, dressed and finished at the quarry and then brought to the construction site and laid in place.

I Chronicles 29:3 Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house,   —>   Here, David is saying that he has joyfully given out of his own personal treasure, both gold and silver and Im sure, plenty of gem stones and jewels too. This was\is in addition to all the gold, silver, brass, wood, and stones which were in all the different treasuries in Jerusalem and throughout all the territories of Israel.

I Chronicles 29:4 Even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses withal:   —>   David knew that he was returning Home to Father, and as such, he couldnt take all his personal wealth with him, so what does he do? He donates it to the construction of Fathers House. Just how much did he donate? Remember, one talent in weight was equal to roughly 110-180 pounds. And here, David said that he gave 3,000 talents of gold. At the low end, thats 330,000 pounds, at the high end, it would be 540,000. All of his gold was from Ophir, which was considered to be the finest, pure gold there was at the time. In todays money, that would be a very considerable amount, up into the trillions of dollars, especially considering that an once of gold is selling for $1,497.65. In any case, we can read in II Chronicles 3, that a vast majority of this gold was used to cover the interior walls, the ceiling, the porch, and other many other items.

I Chronicles 29:5 The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the LORD?   —>   By David showing that he was willing, and had indeed offered up so much of his own personal wealth for the building of Fathers House, he was now going to ask everybody present to be willing to do the same.

…artificers…=I like Davids use of the word artificers here as, it has a broad range of meaning. Lets check it out in our Strongs Concordance, and well find that it is Hebrew word number: H2797, - חָרָשׁ, - chârâsh, pronounced - khaw-rawshי, and means: From H2790; a fabricator of any material: - artificer, (+) carpenter, craftsman, engraver, maker, + mason, skilful, (+) smith, worker, workman, such as wrought. Total KJV occurrences: 37.. So what David is saying here, is that, he had already lined up all the different skilled workers to build, construct and fashion Fathers House and all the items which will go inside.

29:6-8 Princes. Gifts.

I Chronicles 29:6 Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel (he will rule as YAH; or, the prince that prevails with YAH) (Yis-raw-aleי) (secondary map), and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the kings work, offered willingly,   —>   First off, notice that this verse ends in a comma, not a period, thus letting us know that it continues into the next verse.

…chief of the fathers…princes of the tribes of Israel…=Each of the twelve Tribes had a ruler who was known as the prince of the Tribe. We had read of them back in I Chronicles 27:16they were: Eliezer the son of Zichri of the Reubenites; Shephatiah the son of Maachah of the Simeonites; Hashabiah the son of Kemuel of the Levites; Zadok of the Aaronites; Elihu, one of the brethren of David of the Judah; Omri the son of Michael of Issachar; Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah of Zebulun; Jerimoth the son of Azriel of Naphtali; Hoshea the son of Azaziah of Ephraim; Joel the son of Pedaiah of half the Tribe of Manasseh; Iddo the son of Zechariah of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead; Jaasiel the son of Abner of Benjamin; and Azareel the son of Jeroham of the Tribe of DanI noted there that, the order was the first four sons of Leah, in order of their birth: Issachar and Zebulun, fifth and sixthGenesis 30:18,20. Thus the first six are Leahs sons. Her maid ZilpahsGad and Ashernot mentioned. Then NaphtaliBilhah, Rachels maid. Then Ephraim and ManassehRachels, through Joseph. Then BenjaminRachels younger son. Dan comes last because the Tribe of Dan was the first to be beguiled into idolatry. Hence Dan is ommited and not named in Revelation 7:4.

…the captains of thousands and of hundreds…=This would be Davids Commanding Generalhisnephew Joabfollowed by his 30 Captains and the leaders of the smaller Divisions and Branches.

…the rulers of the kings work…=These were Davids stewards. The men who were responsible for Davids everyday well being, his personal wealth and things of that nature. Notice that David is telling them that they had made significant financial gains of off his assets, so now what are they going donate in order to assist in building Fathers House.

Offered willingly=Dont overlook this statement of Davids brethren as, this too is crucial to and for us as, we too should be willing to freely offer our Best to Father in All that We Do.

Israel=The kingdom of Israel consists and comprises of both a People, and a territory. The People were and are our Father, our Creator ELOHIMsfrom Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible Appendices: ELOHIM the genus GodChosen People. Chosen only in the sense that they were the lineage through which He Himself will\would be born in the flesh as His Only Begotten Son: Jesus Christ. That lineage began with Adam, then his son Seth, down to Noah, then his son Shem, down to Abram, then his son Isaac, and then his son Jacob whom Father renamed Israel, on to his two sons Leviactually, Levis son Amram and his son Aaron and his descendantsand Judahand his son Pharez, then his son Hezron, then his son Aram, then his Amminadab, then his son Nashon, then his son Salmon, then his son Boaz, then his son Obed, then his son Jesse, then his son David. Both lineages culminated and terminated at Marycousin to Elisabeth, wife of Zacharias, whom the Holy Spirit overshadowed while she was yet a virgin, and after Michael the arch angel had told would come to pass. When Father had changed Jacobs name to Israel and then he had his twelve sonsReuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Napthali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjaminwho went into captivity to Egypt for those 200 plus years, when Father led them out by the hand of Moses, they became known collectively as, the House of Israel. As for the territory, see the links of the 2 maps in the verse to understand the land mass which comprised the territory of Israel. As to the etymology of the name Israel, according to Abarim Publications, the meaning of the name Israel is not clear; but, yet, its huge. The meaning of Israel is not singular and distinct; but, consists of many nuances and facets and bulges with theological significance. Judging from Genesis 32:28, the form ישראל (Israel) appears to be a compilation of two elements. The first one is the noun אל (EL), the common abbreviation of ELOHIMfrom Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible Appendices: ELOHIMthe genus God. EL is essentially the Almighty, though the word is never so rendered. EL is ELOHIM in all His strength and power. It is rendered God as ELOHIM is, but EL is God the Omnipotent. ELOHIM is God the Creator putting His omnipotence into operation: The second part of our name appears to be related to the verb שרה (sara): However, even though Genesis 32:28 uses the enigmatic verb שרה which is assumed to mean to struggle but which might something else entirely its by no means certain that this verb is etymologically linked to our name Israel. When we say, we named him Bob because that seemed like a good idea, we certainly dont mean to say that the name Bob means good idea. The first part of the name Israel looks a lot like the verb שרה that explains this name; but, this apparent link is possibly a mere case of word-play. In fact, the name Israel may have more to do with the verb ישר (yashar), meaning to be upright. Note that the difference between the letter שׂ (sin) as found in the name ישׂראל (Israel) and the letter ש (shin) as found in the verb יש ר (yashar) didnt exist in Biblical times and as it was invented more than a thousand years after the Bible was written: For a meaning of the name Israel, New Open Bible Study Edition (NOBSE) Study Bible Name List, Brown Driver Briggs (BDB) Theological Dictionary and Alfred Jones (Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names) unanimously go with the verb שרה of which the meaning is unsure. Undeterred, NOBSE reads God Strives, and BDB proposes El Persisteth or El Persevereth. Alfred Jones figures that the mysterious verb שרה might very well mean to be princely, and assumes that the name Israel consists of a future form of this verb, which hence would mean to become princely. And so Jones interprets the name Israel with He Will Be Prince With God.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H3478, - ישׂראל, - Yiśrâ'êl, pronounced - Yis-raw-aleי, and means: From H8280 and H410; he will rule as God; Jisrael, a symbolical name of Jacob; also (typically) of his posterity: - Israel. Total KJV occurrences: 2,576.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary: The description of Israel in the Smiths Bible Dictionary is extensive and too long to post here; so, Ill instead just post the link to it: Israel.

I Chronicles 29:7 And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.   —>   As I noted in my opening commentary in the last verse. The last verse ended with a comma, not a period. So then, this is saying that the Rulers of the Tribes, the Captains over the thousands and hundreds, and Davids Stewards did indeed offer up their best with a joyful and willing heart.

Dram=Why the use of the word dram? Because we have to bear in mind that these Books of the Chronicles were written after the Babylonian captivity. Dr. Bullinger notes in his Companion Notes to this verse: Only here, and Ezra 27. A Persian coin Probably so called from the appellative Darius = the kings coin (like English sovereign). Indicates date of book. See note on the palace, v. 1, and consult Ap. 51. I. 1, p. 73. .

I Chronicles 29:8 And they with whom precious stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel (from H2421 and H410; YAH will live; and, EL lives) (yekh-av-aleי) the Gershonite (a refugee; or, exile) (gay-resh-omeי).   —>   …by the hand…=In other words, those who had precious gem stones willingly gave them into the hand of Jehielone of the Royal Tresaurersso that he could put them into one of the treasuries in Fathers House.

Jehiel=We read in I Chronicles 26:21-22 that, this same Jehiel is there identified as Jehieli.

Gershon (Gershonite [s])= Gershon was Levis first born son with his wife whose name is never mentioned in Fathers Word. Gershon is mentioned in 18 verses with 18 matches in Fathers Word, for the name and Strongs Hebrew word associated with it: H1648; all of them are either of him in the genealogical listings, or of his descendantsthe Gershonites H1649again, either in the genealogical listings, of them receiving their inheritance of land, or of them receiving their service of the Tabernacle. Of the man himself we know nothing about, except to say that he was part of the 70 Israelites who went down into Egypt to escape the famine which had encompassed all the land. We dont know when he died and returned Home to Father, or what age he was when he did so. Lets turn to Numbers 3 and read of the responsibility of Gershons descendants concerning their Ministerial Duties: Numbers 3:25 And the charge of the sons of the Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, and the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. [3:26] And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.   —>   The duties and responsibilities of the Gershonites were the safeguarding, the setting up and taking down, and the carrying of the tent, and of all the coverings of the tent and doors etc.; in other words, all the canvas\cloth items concerning the tent and thereof belong to the Gershonites. We can see the number of and(s) within these two versesjust like in Genesis 1, and many other places throughout Fathers Wordand can know that they are a polysyndeton; meaning, there is much more than just what is being said in these verses. We know that the Tribe of Levis encampment as they came out of Egypt and wandered in the wilderness was in the midst of the camp, surrounded by all the other Tribes; Gershons particular encampment, was behind the Tabernacle, westward. The etymology of the name Gershon is probably the same name as Gershom, derived of the verb גרש (garash), meaning to drive or cast out: The waw-nun extension denotes a personification of the root. Gershon means Expelled One or Exiled One, and the meaning may have more to do with the fact that he\his descendants were surpassed in fame by the younger brethren of Kohath, from whom descended Moses and Aaron, and then of course, the line of Fathers Priests.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H1648, - גֵּרְשׁוֹן or גֵּרְשׁוֹם, - gêreshôn or gêreshôm, pronounced - gay-resh-omeי or gay-resh-oneי, and means: From H1644; a refugee; Gereshon or Gereshom, an Israelite: - Gershon, Gershom. Total KVJ occurrences: 18.. And now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: The eldest of the three sons of Levi, born before the descent of Jacobs family into Egypt Genesis 46:11; Exodus 6:16. But, though the eldest born, the families of Gershon were outstripped in fame by their younger brethren of Kohath, from whom sprang Moses and the priestly line of Aaron..

I Chronicles 29:9 Then the People rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.   —>   The People were very pleased that they were able to offer their best to Father, David was pleased that they had so willingly given to Father, and Father was pleased that the People gave with a willing heart. How do I know or how can I say that Father was pleased? Because, we read of Paul telling us this in II Corinthians 9:7 which reads: II Corinthians 9:6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. [9:7] Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.   —>   A True statement indeed. To be pleasing to Father, our offering must be given with a cheerful heart, as such, I need to add in here that we should never allow ourselves to be brow-beaten into giving. I remember when I used to attend a certain church that, they would not only pass the plate, but, some Sundays they would pass it more than once. Turn on your TV to some of these TV ministries and youll see them begging for your money, saying things like, if you dont send us $1,000 today, we wont be here next week, or sending letters through the mail saying the same thing. Brethren, this is completely contrary to the teachings of our Lord Jesus, who teaches us in Matthew 10:10 which reads: Matthew 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. [10:8] Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. [10:9] Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, [10:10] Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.   —>   This No[r] script is a leather pouch or wallet, meaning, that when the disciples went out to teach Fathers Word, they werent to take a begging bag with them.

We sort of change courses beginning with the next verse as, David now offers up a beautiful Prayer of Thanksgiving to Father.

29:10-20 PREPARATION.
   DEVOTIONS. (Introversions and
   Alternations.)
29:10 Blessing.
29:10-20 David prays in the
   assembly.

I Chronicles 29:10 Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be Thou, LORD God of Israel our Father, for ever and ever.   —>   David is about to give Father a wonderful acknowledgment of praise, tracing all good to Father YHVHS sovereign grace, which He so freely bestows upon we, His Children.

29:11 Blessing.

I Chronicles 29:11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is Thine; Thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and Thou art exalted as head above all.   —>   and=Like verse v29:2 above, we have another polysyndeton between verses v29:11-13. There are 14 and(s)if we include the words both (v29:12) and now (v29:13). These 14 separate and(s) highlight and place great emphasis on the 15 separate clauses of Praise and Prayer. Fourteen and(s) quoting from Dr. Bullingers Book, Number in Scripture: Fourteen being a multiple of seven, partakes of its significance; and, being double that number, implies a double measure of spiritual perfection. The number two with which it is combined (2x7) may, however, bring its own significance into its meaning, as in Matthew 1, where the genealogy of Jesus Christ is divided up and given in sets of 14 (2x7) generations, two being the number associated with incarnation..

…the power…the glory…the Kingdom…=This should put you in mind of what most Christians call the Lords Prayer of Matthew 6:9-13. I say Christians call it the Lords Prayer because in reality, it is not. Jesus did not pray this prayer, nor did He tell us to pray this prayer over and over. If we look at Matthew 6:9, well read and see that, He told us: Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.   —>   after this manner=In other words, Jesus was telling His disciples and us that, when we Pray to Father, we should open our Pray saying, our Father, the Creator of All things, Who reigns as the Supreme Being, and sits in heaven, which is His Domain. So, He was telling us to open our Prayer by acknowledging Who we are Praying to, and in that one statement we are acknowledging that He is the one and Only True God because, only One can Reign. Hallowed be Thy name=Meaning, His very name is Holy. Holy above All else, with no other name being above His. The rest of the prayer, He was telling us to utter words similar to what He spoke, not to repeat His words verbatim, and especially not say them over and over every time we Pray to Father. Basically, what He was telling us was, to speak plainly to Father as, He is our Father, our closest relative. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven=Many people think that He was saying that, we should ask or think that we should ask for His Kingdom to return to this earth; however, that was not was He was saying, He was saying we should strive to advance His Kingdom because, it ties in with His Will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our Daily bread=Meaning that we seek the Strong meat of His Word each and every day. He told us in Matthew 7:7 to ask, to seek and to knock, and He will then provide. Put it all together, i.e., Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread=ELYON, ELOHIM, ELOAHELYON; this is in the Strongs Concordance, Hebrew word number: H5945, - עֶלְיוֹן, - ‛elyôn, pronounced - el-yoneי, and means: From H5927; an elevation; that is, (adjectively) lofty (comparatively); as title, the Supreme: - (Most, on) high (-er, -est), upper (-most). Total KJV occurrences: 53.from Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible Appendices: ELYON, first occurs in Genesis 14:18 with EL, and is rendered the most high (God). It is EL and ELOHIM, not as the powerful Creator, but as the possessor of heaven and earth. Hence the name is associated with Christ as the Son of the Highest (Luke 1:35). It is ELYON, as possessor of the earth, Who divides the nations their inheritance. In Psalm 83:18, He is over all the earth. The title occurs 36 times (6×6, or 62. See appendix 10). ELYON is the Dispenser of Gods blessings in the earth; the blessings proceeding from a Priest Who is a King upon His throne (compare Genesis 14:18-22 with Zechariah 6:13; 14:9).ELOHIM; see God in verse v29:1 above; ELOAH; this is in the Strongs Concordance, Hebrew word number: H433, - אֱלוֹהַּ or אֱלֹהַּ, - 'ĕlôahh or 'ĕlôahh, pronounced - el-oי-ah or el-oי-ah, and means: (the second form is rare); probably prolonged (emphatically) from H410; a deity or the deity: God; god. see H430. Total KJV occurrences: 57.from Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible Appendices: ELAOH, is ELOHIM, Who is to be worshipped. ELOAH is God in connection with His Will rather than His power. The first occurrence associates this name with worship (Deuteronomy 32:15,17). Hence it is the title used whenever the contrast (latent or expressed) is with false gods or idols. ELOAH is essentially the living God in contrast to inanimate idols.I believe You ARE the supreme God above all, Whose name is Holy above all, and Who reigns from Heaven over all that YOU created. I pray that You help me to advance Your Kingdom and do Your Will here in this flesh life, until Your return, when all will be according to Your Will as it is in Heaven right now. We are Your creation, therefore it is Your Will which I desire be done, not ours as, You know our needs as You tell us in Matthew 6:8. You Father, remind us to remind You of the Promises You made to us as we read in Isaiah 43:26, which reads: Isaiah 43:26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.   —>    In other words, You tell us to remind You of Your Promises, not because You dont remember them; but, to show You that we know the Promises which You made to us, and we then can therefore be justified. Give me the knowledge of Your Son, Jesus, Who is the bread of life, and Who I need daily, and please forgive me of my sins, in His name, and help me to forgive others as He did in this flesh life. Help me to rebuke temptation and to lead a Godly life, and protect me from the evil that tempts me and attacks me. I believe You can do all these things because, You ARE the King and ruler of all, Whose power is beyond all comprehension, and Whose glory we cannot begin to fathom. You are and will be the King forever. Let it be so, I pray.

…all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine…=Everything IS His because, He Created everything. How can I state this, or can I document this you ask? Yes I can, lets turn to His Word, to the beginning, Genesis 1: Genesis 1:1 In the Beginning God created the heaven and the earth. —>   What did this verse say? It said that Father ELOHIM created two (2) bodies heaven and earth. Did it state when He created them? No, it did not. Father left it up to us to Study His Word in order to figure out just how long ago this was that He created these two bodies, and He does give us clues in His Word: here in Genesis 1; Job 38; Isaiah 45; Jeremiah 4 to list but a few. His Word and science really do not conflict on the number of years ago that He created the heaven and earth. The verse didnt even state what condition they were in when He created them, it just says that He created them, but, again, we can find the answer to that in Isaiah 45 and Jeremiah 4. So, what then happened? We find our answer to part of this question in the New Testament in The Gospel of John: John 1:1 In the Beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word Was God.   —>   Jesus: Yeshua, is The Word the Logos, and The Word was written billions of years ago. Can you grasp this? Everything that we see going on around us today was written billions of years ago; your life, my life all written. However, thoughHe did write our lives, what He didnt do was write whether we would Love Him or not, that He left up to us by giving us the free-will to choose on our own. The next thing Father created was His Wisdomthough you can say that He didnt create His Wisdom as, it was already inside of Himand we can read of that in the Book of The Proverbs. Solomon, the third man king of Israel after Saul and David, wrote the Book of The Proverbs, and in Proverbs 8, heSolomonspeaks of Fathers Wisdom, well pick it up in Proverbs 8:22: Proverbs 8:22 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of His way, Before His works of old.   —>   These works of old are the things that transpired after Father created the heaven and the earth, and we can get a glimpse of these things inRevelation 12. Revelation 12 is a unique chapter because, it spans a very long length of time the First Earth Age, this Ageincluding the Millenniumand the Age still to comethe Eternitybut for now, lets continue on with Proverbs. [8:23] I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.   —>   Solomon is telling us that Father possessed His Wisdom even before He created the earth. From the very beginning, Father possessed His Wisdom. [8:24] When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.   —>   Before there was an abyss or even the need of the abyss, or even the waters to fill this abyss, Fathers Wisdom was. This abyss is the same pit which satan will be cast into at the beginning of Yeshuas 1,000 year Millennial Reign as can be read in Revelation 20:3. [8:25] Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:
—>   Father possessed His Wisdom even before He created the mountains and formed the hills of this earth. [8:26] While as yet He had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.   —>   Again, He hadnt even created the earth when He possessed His Wisdom. [8:27] When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when He set a compass upon the face of the depth:   —>   As Father created the heavens and told the stars and moon and sun where their places were in the heavens; Fathers Wisdom was with Him. [8:28] When He established the clouds above: when He strengthened the fountains of the deep: [8:29] When He gave to the sea His decree, That the waters should not pass His commandment: when He appointed the foundations of the earth:   —>   When He created the earth; He also created the land, the mountains, the hills, the fields, the lakes and oceans. He told the waters of the lakes how far up the banks they could go, and the waters of the oceans just how far up the shoreline they could proceed. How did He do this? By creating gravity and using those gravitational forces to control the things of this earth. Father asked Job when addressing him in Job 38, to explain to Him how all these things came into being. Lets go there next: But, before we turn there, lets talk about Job for a minute. What happened with Job. If we were to go back to the Job 1 and Job 2, we would find that FatherWho was standing before many of His Children as; they had come to present themselves to Himasks satan where he had been? Satan replies that he had been walking to and fro the earth. Father then asks satan, if while he was walking on the earth, had he seen Job, one of His favorite people? Satan replies that the only reason Job is one of Fathers favorites is because, Father has a fence around him; but, that if He were to remove it and allow hesatanto have a go at Job, Job in turn would curse Father. Father accepted satans challenge and removed that fence. He then told satan that he could do all he wished; except, kill Job. Satan took the lives of Jobs children, took the lives of all his livestock and took all his possessions; but, Job would not curse Father. Job had three supposed friends come by and proceed to tell him that he must repent of the sins which he must have committed in order to be pleasing to Father; and then, Father would in turn, reward him by bestowing blessings upon him. The only problem with this, is that as we know, Job had not sinned, it was all satans doings. So, for the next 35 or so chapters, Jobs friends try and convince Job of his sin, and to make him repent of it. Finally in Job 38 Father steps in and comes to Job. Lets turn there now and listen in: Job 38:1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,   —>   What is this whirlwind? We find our answer to this question in Ezekiel 1:4 where Ezekiel, who had only ever seen a donkey cart or horse-drawn buggy, now had to describe the vehicle which brought Fathers throne to this Agethis dimension. Our clue here in this verse, is the word amberwhich in the Hebrew is Highly polished bronze. So, now we find in Job 38, Father talking with Job from this highly polished bronze vehicle. What is He talking with Job about? [38:2]Who is this that darkeneth counsel with words without knowledge?   —>   Father is asking Job to explain to Him what he was doing listening to these three friends who didnt have the correct knowledge of the things of Father. Remember, Job had been tested and afflicted by satan, not Father, to where he lost his entire family, his wealth, and his health, and by the time Father comes to Job, Job is in a sorry state of affairs. [38:3] Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou Me.   —>   When Father talks to us we better pay attention, so lets do just that. Here in this verse, Father tells Job to gird up his loins, in other words, Father told Job to take his belt and wrap it up under his skirt so that he would be in the battle dress of the dayback in Jobs day men wore skirtsthe Scots called them kiltsor long robesand in order to run and such, they had to be bunched up and tied up under the mans loins. Really, what this is though, is a Hebraism meaning to stand up straight like a man because, IFatherwant to talk to you, and I want your undivided attention. So, now that Father had Jobs attention, He tells him to answer Him; for, He is demanding an answer from Job concerning what had happened for the last how much ever time it had been that Job had been listening to his friends and NEVER ONCE turning to Father and asking Him, or talking with Him, about what was happening to him. [38:4] Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare if thou hast understanding.   —>   Father is asking Job if he was there when He created all things? Of course, Father, Job, and even we know that Job wasnt there. And for the next two plus Chapters, Father reads Job the riot act while explaining to Job, just how He in fact created all things. If we take our time and truly read and Study Fathers Word, we too can and will see just how He did create them. We will also see His love for His creation ALL of it the heavens, the earth, and all things on it. His creation He talks to, and His Creation obeys Him and His commands, except for satan and prideful man. We can see this through Jesus in Matthew 21:19, which reads: Matthew 21:19 And when He saw a fig tree in the way, He came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.   —>   He talks with us through His word, and He wants us to be obedient to Him as well. There is a deeper meaning within this verse in Matthew 21:19 but, we wont get into it at this point; well continue on with what we were studyingbut suffice it to say that, that meaning is important as, Jesus told us in Matthew 24:32 and Mark 13:28, from which well read: Mark 13:28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:. Returning now to The Books of the Chronicles, and picking it up with verse v29:12.

29:12 Acknowledgement.

I Chronicles 29:12 Both riches and honour come of Thee, and Thou reignest over all; and in Thine hand is power and might; and in Thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.   —>   Thou reignest over all=Again, our Father is the Creator of all things, and as such, He does indeed rule over all His Creation. I quoted Matthew 21:19 a few moments ago, I still wont at this moment get into the deeper meaning; but, with Father and Jesus being one in the same, do you honestly think and or believe that when Jesus walked up to that fig tree, He didnt already know whether there would be any figs on that tree? Of course He knew, He knew firstly because, He knew whether it was the season for the fruit to be on the tree or not, but more imortantly, He knew because He commanded what season the fruit would spring forth.

…and in Thine hand is power and might; and in Thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength…=David knew where all his strength came from. He knew that he had been but a shepherd boy and Father had chosen him to be the second man-king of the greatest Nation at the time. When he was just a youth, it was Father Who put it in him to take on the giant of Gathwho had been challenging and mocking the whole Israelite army and Father Himselfand when David stepped out, onto that battle field, Goliath said, what am I a dog, that you send out this boy to challenge me? Goliath cursed David and Father YHVH. David replied, to Goliath, you come against me with your shield and spear, but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied and David picked up those five smooth stonesof which he only needed onedefeated that ole giant. As king of Israel, David faced many an enemy who wished to defeat and rule the people of Israel, and because of Father, Israel defeated each and every one of them.

29:13 Praise.

I Chronicles 29:13 Now therefore, our God, we thank Thee, and praise Thy glorious name.   —>   David has it right, in all that we do, we too should never forget to give Thanks to Father for what He has provided us. Every good thing we have comes from Father YHVH.

29:14 Personal. Self-
   abasement.

I Chronicles 29:14 But who am I, and what is my People, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of Thee, and of Thine own have we given Thee.   —>   Like I said a moment ago, every good thing we have in our lives comes from Father YHVH, David knew that everything the Nation of Israel had likewise also came from Father. He knew neither he nor his People could offer up any material thing which could adequately honor Father. He knew that everything which they gotten and stored-up so they could build the Temple for Father, had come from Father.

29:15 Personal. Self-
   abasement.

I Chronicles 29:15 For we are strangers before Thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.   —>   we are strangers before Thee…=We are strangers only in that we dont know Father until He reveals Himself to us. Yes, some of us are taught about Father but, how many Christians go to church week after week but yet, they still really dont actually know Who Father is? I say this because of all the denominations, denominational doctrines and dogmas, all the traditions of man which are taught in those different church houses. But, that is also a product of His Children not actually seeking Father by Studying His Word. If we truly desire to know Father, all we have to do is honestly seek Him with all our Heart and He will reveal Himself to us.

…sojourners…=We are sojourners as, everything on this earth and in this universe is Fathers. You may think you own a piece of land, but who owned that piece of property before you, who is going to own it after youre gone? It is all Fathers, He owns it all as, He created it, we just live upon it while were here in the flesh. One day, each and every one of us will return Home to Him, and even then, well be in His Kingdom.

29:16 Acknowledgment.

I Chronicles 29:16 O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build Thee an house for Thine holy name cometh of Thine hand, and is all Thine own.   —>   …all this store…=David is talking of all the materials i.e., the stone and precious metals he and Israel had gathered in preparation for building Fathers Temple. There is nothing we can give to Father as, again, He Created it all, its all His. This is why when we sacrifice anything to Father, it must be something of ours, we cannot sacrifice something to Him thats already His, otherwise its no sacrifice at all on our part.

29:17 Personal. Integrity.

I Chronicles 29:17 I know also, my God, that Thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy Thy People, which are present here, to offer willingly unto Thee.   —>   Thou triest the heart=Father does know the heart of each and every one of us. How can I say this you ask? Because, we were with Him in the First Earth Age, and He knows what each and every one of us did, where we stood, during satans rebellion: on His side, on satans, or whether we were one of those who stood on the sidelines waiting to see who would win the controversy.

Does this mean that He knows what each of us will do in this Age? No, He gave us Free-Will to choose whether we will love and Choose Him or not. But, it is how He can say in Malachi 1:3 and Romans 9:13 that He hated Esau while yet in his mother Rebeccas womb. Lets read it for ourselves, picking it up in verse Romans 9:10: Romans 9:10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; [9:11] (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of Him that calleth;) [9:12] It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. [9:13] As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. —>   What was it that Esau did? We have to go back to the First Earth Age for our answer to that question as, Esau wasnt born and Father hated him. It had to have been pretty bad as, of all the kings of both, the House of Israel and the House of Judah who rejected Father, His Commandments, Judgments, Laws, Ordinances and Statutes, it was never said of them that He hated them prior to their birth. Therefore, we can highly suspect that, like in this Age, Esau had rejected his inheritance and his heritage. We also do know though, that Esau in this Age took to himself, wivesof both the Hittites and the Ismaeliteswhich he knew displeased his father and Father as we read in Genesis 26:34-35 and Genesis 28:6-9 which read: Genesis 26:34 And Esau was forty years old when he took to wife Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Bashemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite: [26:35] Which were a grief of mind unto Isaac and to Rebekah.; Genesis 28:6 When Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padanaram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan; [28:7] And that Jacob obeyed his father and his mother, and was gone to Padanaram; [28:8] And Esau seeing that the daughters of Canaan pleased not Isaac his father; [28:9] Then went Esau unto Ishmael, and took unto the wives which he had Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham's son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife..

…hast pleasure in uprightness…=Dont ever forget this verse, nor this statement brethren! When Father looks down from His Throne in Heaven and He sees one of His Children who is struggling, but that Child is trying and Loves Him, that Childs Love and Actions, makes Fathers day and it Blesses Him. He likewise in return, will assist and Bless that Child. On the opposite end of the spectrum, when we watch the happenings which are transpiring today, it can be easy to get disheartened. Look at all the evilness going on around us, our politicians and media are calling evil good and good evil, as it is written in our Fathers Word. This signals to us that we are close to the end of this Age, this is a good thing for we Christians; and, we dont have to fret as, all we have to do is open Fathers Word to Psalms 37 and well be able to take comfort that those who do evil, and those who support evilness do not get ahead, lets turn there and read what Father says; but before we do, know that Psalms 37 is a unique Psalm as, it is an Acrostical Psalm. Ill allow Dr. Bullinger to explain it: Psalms 37 is an Acrostic Psalm (see Ap. 63. VII), having four lines (a quatrain) assigned to each successive letter of the alphabet, except the fourth (ד, v7), the eleventh (כ, v20), the nineteenth (ק, v34), which each have three lines (a triplet) assigned to them. These three triplet verses occur in perfect order. The seventh verse is the seventh letter from the beginning; the thirty-fourth verse is the seventh letter from the end, while the middle verse (v20) marks the end of the first half with the first of the two middle letters..
Psalms 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and
   wait patiently for him:
Fret not thyself because of him who
   prospereth in his way,
Because of the man who bringeth
   wicked devices to pass.
[37:20] But the wicked shall perish,
And the enemies of the LORD shall be as
   the fat of lambs:
They shall consume; into smoke shall
   they consume away.
[37:34] Wait on the LORD, and keep
   his way,
And he shall exalt thee to inherit the
   land:
When the wicked are cut off, thou shalt
   see it..

29:18 Prayer.

I Chronicles 29:18 O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of Thy People, and prepare their heart unto Thee:   —>   Israel=Israel is Fathers name for Jacob. Israels name is used because, this is the language of Highest Faith.

…prepare their heart unto Thee=Prepare as used here in this verse means to stablish or establish; and what David is Praying is that the same willing heart that they have shown in the verses above, forever stays with the People of Israel. That they are always willing to give obedience to Father, obeying His Commandments, Judgments, Laws, Ordinances and Statutes. David knows firsthand that when youin this case the entire Nationdo this, you will be Blessed by Father, conversely, the Nation which is not obedient to Honoring, Serving and Worshipping Father, is not a Blessed Nation.

29:19 Prayer.

I Chronicles 29:19 And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep Thy commandments, Thy testimonies, and Thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.   —>   give unto Solomon…a perfect heart…=David closes his Prayer asking Father to intercede for his son Solomon, that He place into Solomon an undivided heart so that, Solomon never strays from Honoring, Serving and Worshipping Father only. Father did indeed answer Davids Prayer, however, man is man, and sadly, Solomon in time grew to lust after women, some of them foreign women who asked that they be allowed to bring their false gods with them, which he not only allowed, but bowed himself to. Because of it, Father divided the Nation into two separate Nations.

29:20 Blessing.

I Chronicles 29:20 And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God. And all the congregation blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the LORD, and the king.   —>   Bless the LORD your God=Many people ask and wonder how they\we can Bless Father. You do that by what our forefathers did here, they paid homage to Father, they worshipped Him and served Him. The biggest thing you can do is to Love Him and speak with Him; do your best to obey His Commandments, Judgments, Laws, Ordinances and Statutes.

… worshipped the LORD, and the king=They worshipped Father, but paid homage to king David who had been a righteous king and man who ruled over the Nation for forty years. All the other kings of Israel will be judged against king David, all will fall short as, none will live up to how well he ruled and reigned over the Nation.

I Chronicles 29:21 And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings unto the LORD, on the morrow after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:   —>   The first thing to note concerning this verse brethren, is that, it ends with a colon, meaning that it continues into the next verse.

All these animals were needed to be sacrificed because, the entire Nation was gathered together to offer their sacrifices and worship Father.

sacrificed sacrifices=From Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible, Appendices 43 1. iv. and 2. xii.: 1. iv. Zabach = to slay [and offer up]; hence to offer what has been slain; to sacrifice. Hence No. xii. below. 2. xii. Zebach = any offering slain (from No. I. iv, above). The proper word for a victim, slain and offered. The Hebrew name for altar (mizbeah) is derived from the same root, and denotes the place of slaughter. Compare with Genesis 22..

offered up=Again, from Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible, Appendices 43 1. vi. and 2. ii.: יAlah = to offer up, especially a burnt offering, form its name in II. ii. below. יOlah = the burnt offering: so called from the Hiphil of the verb יalah, to cause the ascend [as the flame and smoke ascend by burning]. In Greek holocausta, which conveys its meaning as being wholly burnt..

a thousand=the number 1,000 in Biblical numerics denotes Divine Completeness and the Glory of God.

29:22-25 SOLOMON.
   SECOND INVESTITURE.
   (Introversion.)
29:22 Solomon.
   Aggrandisement by man.
29:22 Solomon anointed
   king.

I Chronicles 29:22 And did eat and drink before the LORD on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the LORD to be the chief governor, and Zadok (just; and, just) (tsaw-dokeי) to be priest.   —>   Solomon has been the king for a while now, however, with David not yet having returned Home to Father, for Solomon, he was ruling the Nation in his father, king Davids name. In other words, he was named as successor to his fatheras we read in I Kings 1:39 and I Chronicles 23:1and everybody knew that he would be the next king of Israel, but he was ruling in his fathers name only until David did indeed pass away.

At this time in the parallel, in I Kings 1 and I Kings 2, we read that Davids present eldest son Adonijah is attempting to usurp the throne from his brother Solomon. See, Adonijah knows that those who were in-line to the throne before him: i.e., his brothers Amnon, Chileab and Absalom, are all dead. Therefore, has said in his heart, yeah baby, Im gonna be the man. However, he hasnt sought Father, he hasnt consulted with his father, nor has he consulted really, with, anybody else, concerning whether he should proceed with his own plans to be the next king of Israel. Adonijah next takes a clue from his older brother Absalom from II Samuel 15:1, and starts putting his thoughts into action. He goes out and tells his servants to get his horses and chariots ready, to gather 50 men to run before his horse driven chariots yelling, make way for the king. Adonijah had even gone so far as to throw a coronation party at the stone of Zoheleth, in other words, at serpent rock, which was a type for the end of this Age, as, satan too, in his role of pretend-to-be–jesus, will attempt to usurp the throne of the True King: Jesus Christ. Anyway, also involved in this plot were none other than Joab, the Commanding General of the entire Army of Israel and Abiathar, one of the two High Priests of Israel, which is why we read in this verse that they made Zadok to be Priest. After it was discovered by Davids prophet Nathan what was going on down at serpent rock, he came to Bash-sheba and told her in order to save her and her son Solomon, as Nathan knew that should Adonijah be made king, hed have to have both Solomon and Bath-sheba killed in order to stay on the throne. Bath-sheba and Nathan then worked David who summoned Solomon, Nathan, Zadok, Benaiah and the Royal Guards, and told them all to put Solomon on hisDavidsmule, escort him down to Gihon, where Zadok anointed him the next king of Israel. As soon as he was anointed, sounded the trumpet and shouted God save king Solomon. The reason David commanded this take place in Gihon was, because, Gihon was right next to serpent rock and all those in attendance at the false coronation party would hear the trumpets and shouts, and then see Solomon riding on Davids mule and know for a certainty that Solomon, not Adonijah, is king of Israel. Sadly for Adonijah, he learned rather quickly, that his thought process was an ill-conceived one as, when thinking of his brother, he should have remembered that it didnt end well for Absalom. Ultimately, it didnt end well with Adonijah either.

Zadok=Ahitubs son Zadok was the tenth descendant in the Priest line from Aaron, and he was great, great, great, great, great-grandfather to another High Priest named Zadok. There are 46 verses with 49 matches for the name Zadok and its associated Strongs Hebrew word number: H6659 in Fathers Word. Zadok was one of two Priests during the reign of king David, the other being Abiathar who was the son of Ahimelech, son of Ahitub, son of Phinehas, son of Eli, the High Priest who raised and guided the Judge Samuel. Zadok was part of the band of mighty menhelpers of war, as it is written in I Chronicles 12:1who joined onto David as he was in Ziklag, keeping himself close to Saul; but, far enough away to stay safe. Zadok remained true to David during Absaloms rebellion and for his loyalty, he was rewarded with retaining his high and holy office till his death. Zadok was the founder of an important part of the Priesthood, and from Solomons time his descendants constituted the most prominent family among the order of priests. The etymology of the name Zadok comes from the verb צדק (sadeq), meaning to be just: For a meaning of the name Zadok, New Open Bible Study Edition (NOBSE) Study Bible Name List reads Righteous. Jones Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names has Just. And Brown Driver Briggs (BDB) Theological Dictionary says Just, righteous.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H6659, - צָדוֹק, - tsâdôq, pronounced - tsaw-dokeי, and means: From H6663; just; Tsadok, the name of eight or nine Israelites: - Zadok. Total KJV occurrences: 53.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: Son of Ahitub, and one of the two chief priests in the time of David and Solomon, Abiathar being the other. Zadok was of the house of Eleazar the son of Aaron I Chronicles 24:3, and eleventh in descent from Aaron I Chronicles 12:28. He joined David at Hebron after Sauls death I Chronicles 12:28, and thenceforth his fidelity to David was inviolable. When Absalom revolted and David fled from Jerusalem, Zadok and all the Levites bearing the ark accompanied him. When Absalom was dead, Zadok and Abiathar were the persons who persuaded the elders of Judah to invite David to return II Samuel 19:11. When Adonijah, in Davids old age, set up for king, and had persuaded Joab, and Abiathar the priest, to join his party, Zadok was unmoved, and was employed by David to anoint Solomon to be king in his room I Kings 1:34. For this fidelity he was rewarded by Solomon who thrust out Abiathar from being priest unto the Lord, and put in Zadok the priest in his room I Kings 2:27,35. From this time, however, we hear little of him. Zadok and Abiathar were of nearly equal dignity II Samuel 15:35-36; 19:11. The duties of the office were divided, Zadok ministered before the tabernacle at Gibeon I Chronicles 16:39, Abiathar had the care of the ark at Jerusalem..

29:23 Accession.

I Chronicles 29:23 Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.   —>   I Kings 2:12, reads: I Kings 2:12 Then sat Solomon upon the throne of David his father; and his kingdom was established greatly.. Solomon is now completely in charge as king. The statement that Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father, is stated here because, it completes the history of David as king of Israel. David reigned and ruled the Nation for a total of 40 year: 7 in Hebron, and 33 in Jerusalem. Again, he was a good and a righteous king, and all the other kings of the Nation(s)the House of Israel, and more importantly, the House of Judah, the true king linewere judged in comparison to how well he ruled and Served Father. Was David a perfect man? No, he made his mistakes and committed his sinsi.e., he committed adultery with Bath-sheba, had her husband Uriah the Hittite killed when he wouldnt sleep with his wife, which was necessary in order to try and cover up their adulteress affair so that Uriah never find out that the child his wife was carrying was not his, and David allowed satan to tempt him into numbering the Israelite armybut he never failed in Honoring, serving and Worshipping of Father YHVH.

29:24 Submission.

I Chronicles 29:24 And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king.   —>   …all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves unto Solomon the king=For the most part, this is a true statement. I say for the most part because, we read in I Kings 2 that, Adonijah will again sort of attempt to usurp the throne from his younger brother Solomon by asking Bath-sheba to ask Solomon to give to him Abishag the Shunamite to marry. Had Solomon agreed to this request, would have in essence, given the throne to Adonijah, and Solomon knew this and replied to Bath-sheba, I Kings 2:22 And king Solomon answered and said unto his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? ask for him the kingdom also; for he is mine elder brother; even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah. [2:23] Then king Solomon sware by the LORD, saying, God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah have not spoken this word against his own life. [2:24] Now therefore, as the LORD liveth, Which hath established me, and set me on the throne of David my father, and Who hath made me an house, as He promised, Adonijah shall be put to death this day..

submitted themselves=In other words, they gave their hand as a sign of submitting power to Solomon, this too fulfilled Davids wishes.

29:25 Solomon.
   Aggrandisement by YHVH.

I Chronicles 29:25 And the LORD magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed upon him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.   —>   Not even king David had bestowed upon him by Father the honor, majesty, power, wealth and wisdom which Father will bestow upon Solomon. We will read of all which Father bestowed upon him when we come to our next Chapter: II Chronicles 1:11-12, we can also read of it in I Kings 3:11-14.

29:26-30 EVENTS. IN SUM.
   (DAVID). (Introversion.)
29:26-30 Death of David.
29:26 Reign over all
   Israel. Particulars.

I Chronicles 29:26 Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.   —>   The life, reign and rule of the Nation of Israels greatest man-king has come to a close. However, his lineage will continue on forever: first through his son Solomon, then all the other kings of the House of Judah until it goes into captivity to the Babylonians. But, even then his lineage will continue as, Fathers Prophet Jeremiah will take the daughters of king Zedekiah to Great Britain, one will marry a king, and that king line continues to this day, ruling over Britain, and will continue until our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ returns for His Second Advent.

29:27 Reign over all
   Israel. Particulars.

I Chronicles 29:27 And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years reigned he in Hebron (From H2267, seat of association; and, alliance) (kheb-roneי), and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem (founded peaceful; or, the habitation of peace) (Yer-oo-shaw-lahי-im).   —>   …seven years reigned he in Hebron=This was when David initially ruled over the Judah only, while he was still on the run from king Saul.

…thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem=After Sauls death at the hand of the Philistiines, David became king over the entire Nation of the House of Israel. He reigned and ruled for 33 years until his passing and return Home to Father. In total, as weve previously read, he reigned and ruled for a total of 40 years. He was only the second man-king to rule over the Entire Nation, and his son Solomon will be only the third, he will also be the last man-king to rule the entire Nation until the return of the True King, the KING of kings: Jesus Christ. It is because of Solomons conduct of serving false gods that Father will divide the Nation into 2 separate Nations, but He wont do so while Solomon rules, itll be during the reign and rule of Solomons son Rehoboam that Father will split the Nation into the House of Israel and the House of Judah, with Rehoboam taking control of the House of Judah.

Hebron=Hebron is rich with history for our forefathers; as such, we find that there are 68 verses and 73 matches for the name Hebron, and the Strongs Hebrew word numberH2275associated with it in Fathers Word; or, in either the Strongs Concordance and\or on E-Sword. We read in Genesis 13 that, after Father had Blessed Abramthis was even before He changed his name to Abrahamand told him to move himself and his familyhis wife Sari and his nephew Lotto Mamre, which is Hebron; and, which is also Kirjath-arba, which is also in Canaan: i.e., the Promised Land. Hebron is also where Sarah died and was buried; in the cave of the field of Machpelah, which belonged to Ephron the Hittite, who was the son of Zohar, another Hittite. This was significant; as, Abraham paid cash moneyand got a receipt for his purchasefor this piece of land, which as I said, is the Promised Land; and, as such, the muslims truly have no claim on this land!! After Father brought our forefathers up, out of thier bondage to the Egyptians, Joshua and the Israelite Army fought many battles in Hebron before conquering it and taking it for a possession. Once Hebron became Israelite territory, it was given to the Priests in order to be a city of refuge, a sanctuary city where someone who accidentally killed somebody else could flee until trial was conducted. Later still, David too fought many battles in Hebron, as a matter of fact, as we read in I Samuel 30:31 that, Hebron was one of the places that David and his men were wont to haunt. Hebron was the first place that David was made king over the House of Judah, he reigned there over Judah for seven years, six months before being crowned king of the entire House of Israel. There is much more history in Hebron; however, space and time constraints prevent me from expounding further. The etymology of the name Hebron comes from the verb חבר (habar), meaning to join: The on-part of the name Hebron comes from the standard waw-nun extension that personifies or localizes the idea or action of a root. For a meaning of the name Hebron, Jones Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names proposes Confederation. Brown Driver Briggs (BDB) Theological Dictionary suggests Association or League. New Open Bible Study Edition (NOBSE) Study Bible Name List reads Alliance.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H2275, - חֶבְרוֹן, - chebrôn, pronounced - kheb-roneי, and means: From H2267; seat of association; Chebron, a place in Palestine, also the name of two Israelites: - Hebron. Total KJV occurrences: 71.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: A city of Judah Joshua 15:54, situated among the mountains Joshua 20:7, 20 Roman miles south of Jerusalem, and the same distance north of Beersheba. Hebron is one of the most ancient cities in the world still existing; and in this respect it is the rival of Damascus. It was a well-known town when Abraham entered Canaan, 3,800 years ago Genesis 13:18. Its original name was Kirjath-arba Judges 1:10, the city of Arba; so called from Arba the father of Anak Joshua 15:13,14; 21:13. Sarah died at Hebron; and Abraham then bought from Ephron the Hittite the field and cave of Machpelah, to serve as a family tomb Genesis 23:2-20. The cave is still there, and the massive walls of the Haram or mosque, within which it lies, form the most remarkable object in the whole city. Abraham is called by Mohammedans el-Khulil, the Friend, i.e. of God, and this is the modern name of Hebron. Hebron now contains about 5000 inhabitants, of whom some fifty families are Jews. It is picturesquely situated in a narrow valley, surrounded by rocky hills. The valley runs from north to south, and the main quarter of the town, surmounted by the lofty walls of the venerable Haram, lies partly on the eastern slope Genesis 37:14, compare with Genesis 23:19. About a mile from the town, up the valley, is one of the largest oak trees in Palestine. This, say some, is the very tree beneath which Abraham pitched his tent, and it still bears the name of the patriarch..

Jerusalem=Jerusalem, like several other of the cities of our forefathers, is rich in history. When our forefathers moved into the Promised Land, JerusalemJebus as it was known as at the time; though, we can also go back as far as the Book of Joshua; Joshua 10:1, and the Book of Judges; Judges 1:8 and read that it had already been called Jerusalemwas in the hands of the Canaanites, and more specifically, the Jebusites. It stayed that way for hundreds of years before David, as king, mustered the troops to fight against the Jebusites and capture Fathers most favorite place in all His Created Universe. We find in the etymology of the name Jerusalem that, without a doubt, the second and dominant part of the name remindedthen and nowof the word שלום (shalom), meaning: peace. The root of this word, שלם (shalem), denotes completeness, wholeness and soundness: In this sense, the name Jerusalem is related to some other famous names from the David saga: Solomon and Absalom. The first part of the name Jerusalem may likely have reminded a Hebrew audience of the verb ירה (yara), throw, cast or shoot; Perhaps the name Jerusalem was never changed, but only Hebraized, because it seems to mean Rain Of Peace. Jerusalem was to be the radiating heart of a world of completeness and wholeness. It seems that history supplied her with a most suiting name. As I said in the opening of the description here; Jerusalem is rich with history, far too much to list here; but, of particular note, or importance is this tidbit: it was the land that our Father took to be His Wife;Ezekiel 16:3but, as can be read in Jeremiah 3:8, because of our forefathers being sottish, He issued her a bill of divorcement. Now from the Strongs Concordance, we find it is Hebrew word number: H3389, - ירוּשׁלם, or ירוּשׁלים, - Yerûshâlaim, or Yerûshâlayim, pronounced - Yer-oo-shaw-lahי-im, or Yer-oo-shaw-lahי-yim , and means: A dual (in allusion to its two main hills (the true pointing, at least of the former reading, seems to be that of H3390)); probably from (the passive participle of) H3384 and H7999, founded peaceful; Jerushalaim or Jerushalem, the capital city of Palestine: - Jerusalem.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: The description of Jerusalem in the Smiths Bible Dictionary is extensive and too long to post here; so, Ill instead just post the link to it: Jerusalem.

29:28 Davids death.
29:18 Davids successor.

I Chronicles 29:28 And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour:
and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.   —>   David has now succumbed and given up his spirit which has returned Home to be with Father, while his body is buried on Mount Zion, in the city named after him. Right there in Fathers favorite city in all His created universe: Jerusalem. The whereabouts of which sepulcher was well known, even to the time of Jesus and beyond, as we can read in Acts 2:29 that he died and was buried. With Davids passing, it thus ends one of Israels greatest times under a man king. All the other men kings of Israel will be held in judgment and compared to David, as, it was said of him that he was a man after Gods own heart. The Nation prospered and grew under him, it wasn't actually because of what David physically did, rather, it was his love, and obedience of Father which caused Father to make Israel great. Yes, under Solomon, the Nation will for the next 40 years continue to grow; however, at the end of this next 40 year period, the Nation will be separated into two separate Nations or Houses: the House of Israel and the House of Judah and will decline until both houses go into captivity because of their failure to adhere to Fathers strict demands.

During Davids life, he slew a bear, a lion, the giant Goliath when he was just a lad of either 15 or 16, and was credited with the slaying of tens of thousands of Philistines. He became king Sauls harpist and armor-bearer until that ole evil spirit overcame Saul. David then went on the lam for many years, because Father had Samuel anoint him to be the next king, not, Sauls son Jonathan. David began his reign and rule at the age of 30 and he died at the age of 70, having lived a full life.

29:29 Reign over all Israel.
   Record.

I Chronicles 29:29 Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel (heard of YAH; and, heard of YAH) (shem-oo-aleי) the seer, and in the book of Nathan (given; and, a giver) (naw-thawnי) the prophet, and in the book of Gad (good fortune; and, a troop) (gawd) the seer,   —>   Yes they are! Everything David did is well recorded, and we can read of them all through II Samuel and this entire First Book of Chronicles.

Samuel=Son of Elkanah and his wife Hannahwhose name means Grace. Hannah was childless like several other famous women in Fathers Word, Namely: SaraiAbrahams wifes name be before Father changed it to SarahRachelJacobs wife and Joseph and Benjamins motherSamsons motherManoahs un-named wifeand ElisabethZacharias wife and John the Baptists motherall of whom Father had shut up their wombs in order that He bring forth a child to do his Will. Hannah went up to Fathers Temple in Shiloh and Prayed to Father, petitioning Him specifically for a son, vowing that, should He grant her petition; then, her son would be under the vow of a NazariteNumbers 6from birth. Father did indeed grant Hannah her petition, and therefore, Elkanah became the father to Fathers JudgeI Samuel 7:6PriestI Samuel 7:9and ProphetI Samuel 3:20: Samuel. Samuel was still a young boyapproximately 12 years old according to the Biblical Historian Josephuswhen he was placed in Fathers Tabernacle to minister before Father. He then took over the Priesthood after Father called Eli Home to Him. It was Samuel whom Father used to anoint His first 2 man-kings of the House of Israel: first Saul as read in I Samuel 9 and then David in I Samuel 16 the first of two Books named after him. Samuel was a good Judge, Priest and Prophet, and he reigned over Israel for 40 years, from 1040B.C. to 1000B.C.. However, when he had gotten up in his years, he did as Eli had did before him and he elevated his two sons Joelalso called Vashni in I Chronicles 6:28and Abiah to the position of priest. That wasnt so bad; but, also like Eli before him, when his sons became an abomination to both the People and more importantly, Father, he didnt do anything to put a stop to their practices. Therefore, the People rejected the Priesthood, or more precisely, they rejected Father in favor of a man king to rule over them. It was then that Father used him to anoint His first two man kings. The etymology of the name Samuel: There are two ways to go with the name Samuel, although it obviously consists of two elements, and the final one is אל, El, the abbreviated form of אלהים, Elohim, denoting the genus GodFather in His Role of Creator of all things: The first part of the name Samuel may come from the noun שם (shem), meaning name. The other way to go to take the first part of the name Samuel from the verb שמע (shama), meaning to hear: For a meaning of the name Samuel, New Open Bible Study Edition (NOBSE) Study Bible Name List goes with the noun שם and reads Name Of God and adds: a godly name. Alfred Jones (Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names) goes with the verb שמע and proposes Heard Of God. Jones explanation is attractive because it seems to fit the story (Hannah prayed for a child and was heard); but, also because, this verb is the base of the name Simeon, which is the name of the tribe where the name Samuel originated. A drawback of Jones explanation is that it fails to address what might have happened to the letter ע (ayin) thats part of the verb but not of the name Samuel. Still, note that the third son of Jesse is named שמעא (Shimea, which is related to Samuel) in I Chronicles 2:13 but שמעה (Shimeah) in II Samuel 13:3 and 13:32, and שמה (Shammah) in 1 Samuel 16:9 and 17:13. The latter variation also omits the letter ayin.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H8050, - שְׁמוּאֵל, - shemû'êl, pronounced - shem-oo-aleי, and means: From the passive participle of H8085 and H410; heard of YAH; Shemuel, the name of three Israelites: - Samuel, Shemuel. Total KJV occurrences: 140.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: Was the son of Elkanah and Hannah, and was born at Ramathaim-zophim, among the hills of Ephraim [RAMAH No. 2]. Before his birth he was dedicated by his mother to the office of a Nazarite and when a young child, 12 years old according to Josephus he was placed in the temple, and ministered unto the Lord before Eli. It was while here that he received his first prophetic call I Samuel 3:1-18. He next appears, probably twenty years afterward, suddenly among the people, warning them against their idolatrous practices I Samuel 7:3,4. Then followed Samuels first and, as far as we know, only military achievement, I Samuel 7:5-12, but it was apparently this which raised him to the office of judge. He visited, in the discharge of his duties as ruler, the three chief sanctuaries on the west of Jordan --Bethel, Gilgal and Mizpeh I Samuel 7:16. His own residence was still native city, Ramah, where he married, and two sons grew up to repeat under his eyes the same perversion of high office that he had himself witnessed in his childhood in the case of the two sons of Eli. In his old age he shared his power with them I Samuel 8:1-4, but the people dissatisfied, demanded a king, and finally anointed under Gods direction, and Samuel surrendered to him his authority I Samuel 12:1, ... though still remaining judge I Samuel 7:15, He was consulted far and near on the small affairs of life I Samuel 9:7,8. From this fact, combined with his office of ruler, an awful reverence grew up around him. No sacrificial feast was thought complete without his blessing Ibid I Samuel 9:13. A peculiar virtue was believed to reside in his intercession. After Saul was rejected by God, Samuel anointed David in his place and Samuel became the spiritual father of the psalmist-king. The death of Samuel is described as taking place in the year of the close of Davids wanderings. It is said with peculiar emphasis, as if to mark the loss, that all the Israelites were gathered together from all parts of this hitherto-divided country, and lamented him, and buried him within his own house, thus in a manner consecrated by being turned into his tomb I Samuel 25:1. Samuel represents the independence of the moral law, of the divine will, as distinct from legal or sacerdotal enactments, which is so remarkable a characteristic of all the later prophets. He is also the founder of the first regular institutions of religious instructions and communities for the purposes of education..

Nathan=Nathan was an eminent and distinguished Hebrew prophet during the reigns of both David and his heir apparent, his son, Solomon. Nathan first appears during the consultation with David about the building of the temple of Father YHVH in II Samuel 7:2-3, 7:17 and I Chronicles 17:1. Sadly and surprisingly, like David, Nathan also chooses not to first seek and consult with Father before he tells David to continue on with his thoughts and plans to build a better home for Father and his Ark; you would have thought at least that, being a Prophet of Fathere, Nathan would have at least told David to seek Father to see if that was what He wanted David to do. When he did not do so, Father came to Nathan that night and told Nathan to tell David that he would not build a House for Father but, that, Father had always been with David and would to continue to be with him, and He would establish his throne and house forever. Nathan next appears to David to deliver Fathers stinging rebuke of David for his having committed adultery with Bath-sheba, and for then having her husband, Uriah the Hittite sent to the hottest part of the front-lines of a battle against the Philistines in order to be killedFather considered that murderFather presented David through Nathan the opportunity to select his own punishment, the child who was birthed by that adulterous would die but, Father would continue to be with David and his house. It was Nathan who counseled Bath-shebawhen Davids son Adonijah was trying to usurp the throne from Fathers anointed third man king: Solomonto go to David and have him set Solomon on his ass to show that David had selected and anointed Solomon as Israels next king. Nathan was ever faithful to David and never joined in the rebellion of Davids son(s). Nathan also wrote history, we know this because, we read in I Chronicles 29:29 and II Chronicles 9:29 that there was a Book of Nathan. The etymology of the name Nathan comes from the verb נתן (natan), to give: The name Nathan doesnt seem to denote something that is given (as New Open Bible Study Edition [NOBSE] Study Bible Name List suggests with the meaning of Gift), but rather an active form of the verb: He Will Give. Jones Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names reads Given.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H5416, - נָתָן, - nâthân, pronounced - naw-thawnי, and means: From H5414; given; Nathan, the name of five Israelites: - Nathan. Total KJV occurrences:42.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: (a giver). An eminent Hebrew prophet in the reigns of David and Solomon. He first appears in the consultation with David about the building of the temple II Samuel 7:2,3,17 . He next comes forward as the reprover of David for the sin with Bathsheba; and his famous apologue on the rich man and the ewe lamb, which is the only direct example of his prophetic power, shows it to have been of a very high order II Samuel 12:1-12..

Gad=Gad was a prophet, or seer, or kings seer during the reign and rule of king David. We first hear of him when, Father sent him to tell David to leave the hold, or cave Adullum and through whose advice he left it for the forest of Hareth I Samuel 22:5; II Samuel 24:11-19; I Chronicles 21:9-19; II Chronicles 29:25. Gad announced Fathers judgment upon David for his numbering of the people. The arm of flesh will fail us, we dare not trust our own. Gad the prophet advised the erection of the altar, and is also before us as an associate of the prophet Nathan. The etymology of the name Gad comes from the verb גדד (gadad), meaning to cut or invade: The name Gad indicates a fortune for which a troublesome, invasive effort is made. For the meaning of Gad, the New Open Bible Study Edition (NOBSE) Study Bible Name List reads Good Fortune. Jones Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names has the same, but adds Good Luck. A more accurate translation would be Harrowing Fortune.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H1410, - גָּד, - gâd, pronounced - gawd, and means: From H1464; Gad, a son of Jacob, including his tribe and its territory, also a prophet: - Gad. Total KJV occurrences: 71. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: (a troop), The seer, or the kings seer, i.e. Davids I Chronicles 29:29, II Chronicles 29:25 was a prophet who appears to have joined David when in the old I Samuel 22:5. He reappears in connection with the punishment inflicted for the numbering of the people II Samuel 24:11-19; I Chronicles 21:9-19. He wrote a book of the Acts of David, I Chronicles 29:29 and also assisted in the arrangements for the musical service of the house of God II Chronicles 29:25..

29:30 Reign over all Israel.
   Record.

I Chronicles 29:30 With all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries.   —>   David had victories over Ammon, Edom, Moab, Philistia, Syria and all the other territories which were in the vicinity of Israel.

David was good king, he was compassionate towards his People because he knew and understood that they were Fathers People and that it was Father Who put him on the throne to reign over His People. David was in the flesh like the rest of us, he made his mistakes just like the rest of us, but he was a good man and king and Honored, Served and Worshiped Father with all his heart.
