I CHRONICLES CHAPTER 28

The year is 922B.C., and we find the Nation of the House of Israel and the reign of its second man king, king David coming to a close. David, who is now approximately 69-70 years oldand within the last year or so of his life here in the fleshand who has reigned and ruled the Nation for the past 39-40 years, is beginning the preparations for his son Solomon to take the reins of the Nation. As such, David wants to ensure that the transition to his son is effortless and without disruption. So, hes ensuring everything is set and in place for Solomon, beginning with the Sacred assignments of the Levites and the Priesthood.

We read in I Chronicles 24, the 24 Courses or, Lots of the Priests. We discovered that the Courses were actually dates of the year, that each Priest served during the 4 major Feasts of Father YHVHFeast of Passover, Feast of Weekswhat we call Pentecost todaythe Day of Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernaclesand then twice a year individually. Fathers Word tells us that the Priests and Levites were spread throughout all the territories of Israel, some in the Sanctuary Citiesotherwise known as Cities of Refuge, where, should somebody accidentally kill somebody else, they could flee in safety until their court case came upand some in the different cities themselves so that, should a question arise concerning Fathers Word, the person asking the question didnt have to travel all the way to Jerusalem to get his question answered, he could just go to the local Priest there in his city and have his answer. That meant though, that when the Priests Course came up, he had to travel to Jerusalem to fulfill his obligation.

These Courses or Lots were given by Father through David, to the descendants of the sons of Levi: Merari, Gershon, and Kohath. There was another time in our history when assignments were divvied out, that time was while our forefathers wondered in the wilderness for those 38 years before being allowed to enter into the Promised Land. The assignments at that time were given by Father to Moses and his brother Aaron, the first High Priest of Father YHVH. Aaron and his sons were not included in these assignments because they were assigned and Consecrated to the Priesthood and their service was within Fathers Tabernacle: i.e., giving Offerings before the Altar of God, and also ministering to the People.

Chapter, I Chronicles 25, brought us the twenty-four Courses of the Levitical Singerssometimes called musicians. We read and learned that their duties didnt just include being Singers or, Musicians, some of them were prophets, some also had other duties in Fathers Temple too, such as ministering to and being in charge of all things which pertain to His tabernacle, including the service and the priests. They were to keep and bear the Ark of God, maintain the oil and wicks for the candles, wash all the instruments after the services, cut, stack and store the wood for the fires, set-up, and take-down and carry Fathers Tabernacle whenever they moved, the scribing of all the services and Fathers Word, etc..

We read in I Chronicles 26 of the Porters and Treasurers who were Levites, but, not the same as the Levitical singers we read of in I Chronicles 25, these Levites obviously had different responsibilities. The duties of the Porters were to be the doorkeepers which we can think of as Security Forces for Fathers Tabernacle and Temple; whereas, the Duties of the Treasurers were to maintain and watch-over all the monies coming into Fathers Treasuries throughout all the territories of Israel.

In Chapter I Chronicles 27, we read of the division of the Military, the Public Administrators, Princes of the Tribes, and then in the last few verses, we read of those whom David trusted to be the Stewards over his personal property.

Why is David so set on ensuring that not only is the Priesthood well established, but the Military as well? Because, he knew that not only would there be those outside of Israel who would challenge Solomon, but there would possibly be those within Israel who would challenge his young son for the throne as well. David himself had had a challenge by one of his own sons: Absalom; therefore, it was crucial to have a strong Military and the Priesthood backing his young soon-to-be-king son.

With that introduction being said, lets go to Father and ask Him for His Blessings on our Study of His Word: Father, we come to you right now to thank you for inviting us to Your table in order that we might be able to partake of and receive Your Spiritual Meat, and Father, as we prepare to dine on the sustenance which sustains our inner man, we ask that You Oh LORD open our ears and eyes, that we might be able to hear and see your Truths, open our hearts and minds and prepare us in order that we may receive Your Truth. We Pray for Your Understanding of Your Word, we seek Your Knowledge in Your Word, and most importantly Father, we Pray for and desire Your Wisdom from Your Word, in Jesus Precious name we Pray, thank You Father, Amen.

But what were seeing here brethren, is David wanting and having all the people of importance within the kingdom being presenthaving been summoned by their kingto hear some of the final instructions for the conduct of the kingdom as David prepares to return Home to Father and leaving the kingdom in his young sons hands.

By going back and reviewing I Kings 1 and I Kings 2, we discover that Solomon has already been anointed and set as king of the Nation when David makes this address to the Nation.

David=I could spend days discussing David and his life; literally, an entire BookII Samuelcovered most of what David accomplished as king of Israel. David was a man after Fathers own heart, and though he made a few mistakes, David always tried to please Father in all that he did; therefore, Father loved David; so much so that, He chose David as the Line to bring forth the Branch, The Bright Morning Star, Immanuel\Emmanuel, God in the Flesh: Jesus. Even though Father chose David, it doesnt mean that David never sinned as, David indeed did sin. He committed adultery with the wife of one of his soldiers; and, then had that soldier murdered by ordering his being put on the front lines of the hottest part of the battle. David was not perfect; however, he was obedient in the end; and, in the end, he left judgment in Fathers hand. All the other kings of Judah and some of the kings of Israel will be judged; or, compared to David; and, the one thing which can always be said of David, is that, not one time had David ever fallen away into idolatry. But, what else can we take away from David? If you sin: repent to Father and then leave the correction and judgment in Fathers hands. While researching the etymology of the name David we find that most Bible translators and commentator will render the name David as Beloved; but, as always with important names, the etymology of the name David is disputed. However, we cant help noticing the distinct similarity of this name with the Hebrew root דוד (dwd) that yields דוד (dod), generally meaning beloved. This word is also the Hebrew word for uncle I Chronicles 27:32, for instance, speaks of דוד־דויד, or Davids uncle: The distinct difference between the name דוד (David) and the word דוד (dod) is that in the name David the letter waw counts for a consonant, while in the word dod it counts for a vowel. A consonant and a vowel are completely different entities and theyll never mean the same, no matter how many times you write them with the same symbol (in this case the waw). If the name was meant to mean Beloved, then it was perhaps given to David after he became king and beloved. In his fathers household he wasnt much of a hit, after all. But then, if this name was meant to mean Beloved, why hasnt history given us the tales of King Dod? Harris Archer Waltke (HAW) Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament lists David under dod but admits that the name is conjectured to come from dod, beloved, but the etymology is uncertain. It has been compared with the Mari term dawidum, Lsquo;leader, but this too is unsure. Brown Driver Briggs (BDB) Theological Dictionary too lists the name David under the derivations of the root dod, but also makes mention of A.H. Sayces note of a sun-god named Dodo — דודה — which was worshipped in East-Jordan Israel. Zion, now known as the city of David, was then apparently known as the city of the god Dod. But where Dod went the way of the dodo, king David is eternally remembered as the beloved king. And this is curious for more than one reason. But whatever the reason, Israels identity of a Kingdom is associated with a king whose name is not a regular Hebrew word, but which is spelled identical to the word for Beloved, and pronounced completely different. Perhaps, and this is a wild guess, the name Dod was altered to David to charge it with the tone of the word דוה (dawa), meaning infirmity.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H1732, - דּוד, or דּויד, - dâvid, or dâvı̂yd, pronounced - daw-veed, or daw-veedי and means: From the same as H1730; loving; David, the youngest son of Jesse: - David. Total KJV occurrences: 1076.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we find that the description of David in the Smiths Bible Dictionary is extensive and too long to post here; so, Ill instead just post the link to it: David.

Israel=The kingdom of Israel consists and comprises of both a People, and a territory. The People were and are our Father, our Creator ELOHIMsfrom Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible Appendices: ELOHIM the genus GodChosen People. Chosen only in the sense that they were the lineage through which He Himself will\would be born in the flesh as His Only Begotten Son: Jesus Christ. That lineage began with Adam, then his son Seth, down to Noah, then his son Shem, down to Abram, then his son Isaac, and then his son Jacob whom Father renamed Israel, on to his two sons Leviactually, Levis son Amram and his son Aaron and his descendantsand Judahand his son Pharez, then his son Hezron, then his son Aram, then his Amminadab, then his son Nashon, then his son Salmon, then his son Boaz, then his son Obed, then his son Jesse, then his son David. Both lineages culminated and terminated at Marycousin to Elisabeth, wife of Zacharias, whom the Holy Spirit overshadowed while she was yet a virgin, and after Michael the arch angel had told would come to pass. When Father had changed Jacobs name to Israel and then he had his twelve sonsReuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Dan, Napthali, Gad, Asher, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, and Benjaminwho went into captivity to Egypt for those 200 plus years, when Father led them out by the hand of Moses, they became known collectively as, the House of Israel. As for the territory, see the links of the 2 maps in the verse to understand the land mass which comprised the territory of Israel. As to the etymology of the name Israel, according to Abarim Publications, the meaning of the name Israel is not clear; but, yet, its huge. The meaning of Israel is not singular and distinct; but, consists of many nuances and facets and bulges with theological significance. Judging from Genesis 32:28, the form ישראל (Israel) appears to be a compilation of two elements. The first one is the noun אל (EL), the common abbreviation of ELOHIMfrom Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible Appendices: ELOHIMthe genus God. EL is essentially the Almighty, though the word is never so rendered. EL is ELOHIM in all His strength and power. It is rendered God as ELOHIM is, but EL is God the Omnipotent. ELOHIM is God the Creator putting His omnipotence into operation: The second part of our name appears to be related to the verb שרה (sara): However, even though Genesis 32:28 uses the enigmatic verb שרה which is assumed to mean to struggle but which might something else entirely its by no means certain that this verb is etymologically linked to our name Israel. When we say, we named him Bob because that seemed like a good idea, we certainly dont mean to say that the name Bob means good idea. The first part of the name Israel looks a lot like the verb שרה that explains this name; but, this apparent link is possibly a mere case of word-play. In fact, the name Israel may have more to do with the verb ישר (yashar), meaning to be upright. Note that the difference between the letter שׂ (sin) as found in the name ישׂראל (Israel) and the letter ש (shin) as found in the verb יש ר (yashar) didnt exist in Biblical times and as it was invented more than a thousand years after the Bible was written: For a meaning of the name Israel, New Open Bible Study Edition (NOBSE) Study Bible Name List, Brown Driver Briggs (BDB) Theological Dictionary and Alfred Jones (Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names) unanimously go with the verb שרה of which the meaning is unsure. Undeterred, NOBSE reads God Strives, and BDB proposes El Persisteth or El Persevereth. Alfred Jones figures that the mysterious verb שרה might very well mean to be princely, and assumes that the name Israel consists of a future form of this verb, which hence would mean to become princely. And so Jones interprets the name Israel with He Will Be Prince With God.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H3478, - ישׂראל, - Yiśrâ'êl, pronounced - Yis-raw-aleי, and means: From H8280 and H410; he will rule as God; Jisrael, a symbolical name of Jacob; also (typically) of his posterity: - Israel. Total KJV occurrences: 2,576.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary: The description of Israel in the Smiths Bible Dictionary is extensive and too long to post here; so, Ill instead just post the link to it: Israel.

Jerusalem=Jerusalem, like several other of the cities of our forefathers, is rich in history. When our forefathers moved into the Promised Land, JerusalemJebus as it was known as at the time; though, we can also go back as far as the Book of Joshua; Joshua 10:1, and the Book of Judges; Judges 1:8 and read that it had already been called Jerusalemwas in the hands of the Canaanites, and more specifically, the Jebusites. It stayed that way for hundreds of years before David, as king, mustered the troops to fight against the Jebusites and capture Fathers most favorite place in all His Created Universe. We find in the etymology of the name Jerusalem that, without a doubt, the second and dominant part of the name remindedthen and nowof the word שלום (shalom), meaning: peace. The root of this word, שלם (shalem), denotes completeness, wholeness and soundness: In this sense, the name Jerusalem is related to some other famous names from the David saga: Solomon and Absalom. The first part of the name Jerusalem may likely have reminded a Hebrew audience of the verb ירה (yara), throw, cast or shoot; Perhaps the name Jerusalem was never changed, but only Hebraized, because it seems to mean Rain Of Peace. Jerusalem was to be the radiating heart of a world of completeness and wholeness. It seems that history supplied her with a most suiting name. As I said in the opening of the description here; Jerusalem is rich with history, far too much to list here; but, of particular note, or importance is this tidbit: it was the land that our Father took to be His Wife;Ezekiel 16:3but, as can be read in Jeremiah 3:8, because of our forefathers being sottish, He issued her a bill of divorcement. Now from the Strongs Concordance, we find it is Hebrew word number: H3389, - ירוּשׁלם, or ירוּשׁלים, - Yerûshâlaim, or Yerûshâlayim, pronounced - Yer-oo-shaw-lahי-im, or Yer-oo-shaw-lahי-yim , and means: A dual (in allusion to its two main hills (the true pointing, at least of the former reading, seems to be that of H3390)); probably from (the passive participle of) H3384 and H7999, founded peaceful; Jerushalaim or Jerushalem, the capital city of Palestine: - Jerusalem.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: The description of Jerusalem in the Smiths Bible Dictionary is extensive and too long to post here; so, Ill instead just post the link to it: Jerusalem.

28:2-8 People addressed.

I Chronicles 28:2 Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building:   —>   There is a lot of meat in this verse brethren. When was it that David decided he wanted to build a Temple for Father? We can read of it in II Samuel 7 and\or I Chronicles 17. Well take it from I Chronicles 17 which reads: I Chronicles 17:1 Now it came to pass, as David sat in his house, that David said to Nathan (given; or, a giver) (naw-thawnי) the prophet, Lo, I dwell in an house of cedars, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD remaineth under curtains. [17:2] Then Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in thine heart; for God is with thee.   —>   Notice brethren, that neither David nor Nathan consulted Father and what He thought of David and his desire to build a Temple to\for Father. This seldom results in positive results or outcomes as was the case here. What was Fathers response? [17:3] And it came to pass the same night, that the word of God came to Nathan, saying, [17:4] Go and tell David my servant, Thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not build Me an house to dwell in:   —>   David himself will provide the reason Father told him that he would not build His Temple in the next verse, which well get to in a moment.

David…stood up upon his feet=Remember brethren, David is no longer a young man, hes 70 years old at this point and has been the king of the Nation for 40 years, thus indicating and pointing out to us that he has probably become somewhat feeble. Remember also that its noted in I Kings 1:1 that: I Kings 1:1 Now king David was old and stricken in years; and they covered him with clothes, but he gat no heat.. Note also Davids three attitudes: (1) lying on the earth as a penitentfeeling or expressing sorrow for sin or wrongdoing and disposed to atonement and amendment; repentant; or contritein II Samuel 12:16, with which we can compare with Psalms 51; (2) sitting before Father YHVH as a worshipper in II Samuel 7:18 and I Chronicles 17:16; and (3) standing on his feet as a servant, here in I Chronicles 28:2.

Ark of the Covenant of the LORD=Note the different titles used of Fathers Ark in His Word, especially in the Books of the Chronicles: Its The Ark fifteen times, The Ark of GOD twelve times, The Ark of The LORD four times, The Ark of The Covenant of The LORD eleven times, The Ark of The Covenant of GOD once, The Ark of Thy Strength once, The Holy Ark once, and The Ark of our GOD once, for a total of forty-six uses. Now, lets compare the title here, with those of Exodus 25:22 which Dr. Bullinger declares the other seven titles: Ark of the Testimony, Ark of The Covenant of YHVH, Ark of Adonai YHVH, Ark of YHVH, Ark of ELOHIM, The Holy Ark, and The Ark of Thy Strength.

LORD=This Title of Father as used here in this verse, is Father in His Role of YHVHfrom Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible Appendices: YHVH, YAHVEH, or YEHOVAHthe sacred and personal name of Father. While Elohim is God as the Creator of all things, YEHOVAH is the same God in covenant relation to those whom He has created (compare II Chronicles 18:31). YEHOVAH means the Eternal, the Immutable One, He Who WAS, and IS, and IS TO COME. The Divine definition is given in Genesis 21:33. He is especially, therefore, the God of Israel; and the God of those who are redeemed, and are thus now in Christ. We can say My God, but not My YEHOVAH, for YEHOVAH is MY God..

GOD=As used in this verse, this is אלהים, ELOHIMfrom Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible Appendices, : ELOHIMthe genus God, Father in His role of Creator of all things. From Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible, Appendix 4: ELOHIM occurs 2,700 times. Its first occurrence connects it with creation, and gives it its essential meaning as the Creator. It indicates His relation to mankind as His creatures (see note on II Chronicles 18:31, where it stands in contrast with YEHOVAH as indicating covenant relationship). ELOHIM is God the Son, the living WORD with creature form to create (John 1:1; Colossians 1:15-17; Revelation 3:14); and later, with human form to redeem (John 1:14). Begotten of His Father before all worlds; born of His mother, in the world. In this creature form He appeared to the Patriarchs, a form not temporarily assumed.. Dr. Bullinger further notes in his Companion notes to this verse, that (with Art.) = the [true] God..

I Chronicles 28:3 But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for My name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast shed blood. —>   David was indeed a man of war; he took on and slew the giant Goliath, and it was sung and written of him that: I Samuel 29:5 Is not this David, of whom they sang one to another in dances, saying, Saul slew his thousands, and David his ten thousands?. Now, whether David himself had slew 10,000 men, or whether it was he and his little rag-tag army of 200which grew to 600 strongwho slew all those men well never know, but it really doesnt matter as, that was neither a bad thing, nor did Father look unfavorably upon David for having slain that many men as, those men were killed in defense of Israel. David also, after having the adulteress affair with Bath-sheba, had had her husband killed in order to hide that it was he who impregnated Bath-sheba while her husband was alive and off to war.

Father had already punished David for both the adulteress affair and for his having Uriah killed so, He was not further punishing David by not allowing him to build Fathers Templewe know He didnt punish him further as, Father still allowed Davids seed\seedline to bring forth our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and He also allowed the king line to continue through DavidHe just wanted a man who did not have blood on his hands, therefore, He used a man of peace, one whose name means peaceful: Solomon.

I Chronicles 28:4 Howbeit the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for He hath chosen Judah (celebrated; and, praised, celebrated) (yeh-hoo-dawי) to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father He liked me to make me king over all Israel:   —>   When was it that Father chose David to be the second man-king of the Nation of the House of Israel? That was back in I Samuel 16. Lets turn there and read of it: I Samuel 16:1 And the LORD said unto Samuel (heard of YAH; and, heard of YAH) (shem-oo-aleי), How long wilt thou mourn for Saul (asked; and, desired) (shaw-oolי), seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse (wealthy; and, extant) (ye-shahי-ee) the Beth-lehemite (patrial from H1035, with the article inserted; a native of Bethlehem; and, house of bread) (bayth hal-lakh-meeי): for I have provided Me a king among his sons.   —>   Enough had become enough for Father and Sauls rejecting Him, now, He is rejecting Saul, and He tells Samuel to gird himself up, grab up his vial of anointing oil and He will direct Samuels steps as to who shall next sit on the throne of Israel. We of course have the hind-sight to know that it is David. [16:2] And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD.   —>   How can I go? If Saul hear it, he will kill me=This is most likely an absolutely true statement by Samuel because, should Saul hear of his going to anoint another man to be the next king who is not of hisSaulsdescendants, he would most assuredly kill himSamuel. But, remember brethren, it is Father who is sending Samuel on this mission, and if He sends you or anyone else on a mission for Him, He will protect you or whoever. Father understands Samuels anxiety and tells him not to worry; to take an heifer with him, and if anyone does ask why he is going to Bethlehem, to tell them that he is going up to offer a sacrifice. As the high Priest, no one would be suspicious of his going there or doing this. Of course, while hes there, he is to call Jesse and his sons to the sacrifice so that he can choose one of his sons to be the next king of Israel. [16:3] And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto Me him whom I name unto thee.   —>   Once Jesse and his sons arrive at the sacrifice, Father will direct and guide Samuel as to which son of Jesse he is to anoint as the next king of Israel. Samuel will have no foreknowledge of who it is. This reminds me of Father YHVHS Elect and when they are to be delivered up to satan and his councils at the end of this Age as, they too will be sent with no foreknowledge as to what they are to say, and in that hour, Fathers Holy Spirit will descend upon them and will speak through their mouths what Father will tell the world. It will be in the cloven tongue spoken by the apostles in Acts 2 and since it will be such, there will be no gainsayers; in other words, no one who can speak against or any who question. [16:4] And Samuel did that which the LORD spake, and came to Beth-lehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably?   —>   As Samuel made his way into Bethlehemthe future birth place of our Lord Jesus Christ, future to Samuels time anywayto carry out Fathers Will, the people were a little anxious, wondering if he was there peacefully or if maybe someone had committed some grievous sin. So, the elders come to Samuel to ask him his purpose. These people had obviously heard what Samuel did to Agag, that didnt help their anxiety any. [16:5] And he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.   —>   Obeying Father, Samuel replies that he was there just to offer a sacrifice to Father, relieving the apprehension of both the elders and the people. He tells them to clean themselves up and to purify themselves for they are all to come to this sacrifice. This sacrifice is being offered by Samuel would have been a thanks offering by him, and as such, it is a special meal and communion with Father, therefore they are all invited to attend as since it is being put on by him, he can call any who he wishes. For those who say that this sacrifice being conducted in Bethlehem is in error because all sacrifices should be conducted within the tabernacle with the Ark, dont forget that the Ark of the Covenant at present is still in Kirjath-Jearim, as for the tabernacle, its in disarray from Eli and his sons, nobody wants anything to do with it because of their debauchery. Besides, it was Father who directed Samuel to Bethlehem and told him to say that he was there to offer sacrifice, so He isnt going to hold Samuel or the people in dis-favorable account of this. [16:6] And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab (YAH of [his] father; and, God is my Father) (ee-el-awbי), and said, Surely the LORDS anointed is before Him.   —>   Eliab =Also called Elihu (YAH of him; and, whose God is he (YHVH)) (el-ee-hooי) in I Chronicles 27:18. Eliab was the eldest son of Jesse. Being the oldest, hes probably the tallest and physically biggest. As Samuel looks upon him, he probably thinks to himself, surely this strapping young man is going to be the next king of Israel. [16:7] But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.   —>   Father tells Samuel to not look at his handsomeness, his height, or his muscular body, in other words, the exterior facade is not what Father is looking for. Remember, Saul was a tall man and looked kingly. Father doesnt care about outward appearances, He wants someone who will hear and obey His voice and Commandments; and this one, Eliab, doesnt fit the bill. Time to move onto the next son of Jesse. The LORD looketh on the heart=It is man who looks on outward appearances, but Father knows the hearts of all His Children. David will tell his son Solomon this as he is about to inherit the reins of the kingdom from his father, as we can read in I Chronicles 28:9. Remember, Saul, the first man king of Israel, was anointed by Father to show Israel the reason they had erred when they rejected Father in favor of a man king. Saul was selected as an ensample of how bad a man would be when they already had Father YHVH as their King. Now, the second man king of Israel will be one who completely trusts in Father and will be obedient to Him. [16:8] Then Jesse called Abinadab (father of generosity [that is, liberal]; and, The Father is generous) (ab-ee-naw-dawbי), and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this.   —>   Abinadab is Jesses second eldest son, and as Samuel is looking him over, he says to Jesse, that he isnt looking for Abinadab. [16:9] Then Jesse made Shammah (ruin; and, astonishment) (sham-mahי) to pass by. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this.   —>   Next comes Shammah, Jesses third oldest son. Shammah is also called Shimea (annunciation; and, fame) (shim-awי) in II Samuel 21:21 and I Chronicles 20:7, Shimeah (annunciation; and, He (YAH) has heard) (shim-awי) in II Samuel 13:3,32, and Shimma (annunciation) (shim-awי) in I Chronicles 2:13. One-by-one, the sons of Jesse are being presented and then similarly rejected. Half way through andIm sure at this pointboth Samuel and Jesse are starting to question and wonder if any of Jesses sons will be accepted and selected. [16:10] Again, Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse, The LORD hath not chosen these.   —>   Jesse has eight sons; seventhe number seven in Biblical numerics denotes Spiritual Completeness or perfectionIt is the number or hall-mark of the Holy Spirits work. He is the Author of Gods Word, and seven is stamped on it as the water-mark is seen in the manufacture of paper. He is the Author and Giver of life; and seven is the number which regulates every period of Incubation and Gestation, in insects, birds, animals, and man..have now come before Samuel and Father, and none of these fit the bill to be the next king of Israel. Not mentioned here are Nethaneel (given of YAH; and, given of YAH) (neth-an-aleי), Raddai (domineering; and, trampling) (rad-dahי-ee), Ozem (be strong; and, power) (o-tsemי). With the three mentioned, and the youngest being Davidthe eighth son of Jessethat leaves one son un-named here and also in I Chronicles 2. The most likely reason he is not named, is because he was alive at the time of this writing in I Samuel 16, being presented before Samuel, however he most likely returned Home to Father before he had children. Therefore no mention of his name is given: no progeny, no mention, much like Abels not being mentioned in Adams genealogy in Genesis 5. [16:11] And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.   —>   Samuel knows that Father sent him to Jesses to anoint a son of his to be the next king of Israel, Jesse has presented seven sons and Father has rejected all of these presented; so there must still be at least one whom was not yet presented before him and Father. So he asks Jesse where heor theyis at. Jesse replies that he is out tending the familys herd of sheep. So Samuel tells him to send someone to get him and present him also before him. Notice that the first two kings of Israel are both keepers of animals; Saul, asses, unclean animals, and David, sheep, clean animals. Saul we know could not find or keep track of his asses, conversely; David as well discover, not only does not lose his sheep, he battles bear and lion to protect them, putting his own life in peril to save them. He keepeth the sheep=Sheep being symbolic of Fathers People. David will be the keeper of Fathers People, and even better, is that one of his offspring is the True keeper of Sheep, Jesus Christ. The keepers of sheep can also be in reference to those who today, and throughout history, have been the tenders of sheep, those who keep the pasture, i.e., the pastors. It is they, if they are good pastors and feed the flock good pasture, i.e., the Truth in Father YHVHs Word. Not all who call themselves pastor do feed the True Word, some like to feed just the salvation message, which in and of itself isnt bad; however, to continue to preach the salvation message week-after-week to the same congregation is a sin, as the flock is only feeding on stale pasture and they therefore do not grow and become healthy, also, some like to feed generic pasture, otherwise known as false doctrines or the traditions of man. Samuel let it be known that the sacrifice would not begin until the keeper of the sheep had arrived. Again, because we have the knowledge of Fathers Word, we therefore have the hindsight to know that David was a man after Fathers own heart. Dont miss this, for it is all part of the key of David. If you have the key of David, as is written of in Revelation 3, then you have the key which unlock doors that no man can keep closed to you, and in turn you can shut and lock doors which no man can then open. This key is the wisdom and knowledge of Fathers own Plan. Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith He That is Holy, He That is True, He That hath the key of David, He That openeth, and no man shutteth, and shutteth, and no man openeth; [3:8] I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept My Word, and hast not denied My name. [3:9] Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, but do lie; behold, I will make them come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. —>
This key of David is important because, it is what opens your mind to the truth in Fathers Word, and when that truth is opened and revealed to you, by Jesus, no man will be able to seal it back up, it also exposes the mind to what really took place in the garden of Eden between satan and Eve. Our adversary satanthe tree of knowledge of good and evil and NOT a snakewhollymind and bodyseduced Eve into laying with him and having intercourse with him in order to try and interrupt the seed-line through which HeImmanuel God with usJesus, would come in the flesh. If satan could interrupt that seed-line, he could have defeated Father YHVH and His Plan. It was hissatansoffspringbeginning with cain, and then on down through the many yearswith Eve many years later who crucified Jesus, not the Jewsi.e., neither the Tribe nor the House of Judah, Hebrews, Israelitesas is still taught to this day. It was hissatansoffspring with Eve who took over the scribing of Fathers Word, to try and change it as Father tells us, and can be read in I Chronicles 2:55, it was also his offspring which took over the priesthood, were discovered while the Israelites were in captivity to the Babylonians and were found out in Ezra 8:15, and then took over the priesthood again between the years the Israelites returned to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple and by the time of Jesus birth. [3:10] Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.   —>   There is so much strong meat in this verse in this verse! If you keep the Word of HisJesus patiencein other words, if you hold onto the Key of David, the Truth in His Word and dont allow any man to sway you from that Truth, then and only then will He keep you from the hour of temptationi.e., tribulationwhich shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Father is sending a test giversatanto see if you have read with understanding Fathers Word to know the order of events that take place at the end of this Age. Unless you have already died and returned Home to Father, nobody is exempt from this exam! Death is the only release from this exam, nobody is going to rapture out of it. As a matter of fact, if you believe youre going to rapture out, you are already many points behind, and will in all likelihood fail Fathers exam. But, Pray you will become part of the plan of Father and be helpful to Him. Everyone that is helpful is indeed blessed of Father. It is up to you. [3:11] Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.   —>   What were we just told to hold fast to? The Truth in Fathers Word, and what did Paul tell usin II Thessalonians 2concerning the Truth in Fathers Word and also the test giver who Father is sending? Lets turn to II Thessalonians 2 and read it for ourselves: II Thessalonians 2:5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?   —>   Paul is asking the Thessaloniansand usdont you remember I already stated this? How could you have gotten it confused? Ill go over it with you again. II Thessalonians 2:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.   —>   Yes hell be revealed in his time alright, when is that? At the sounding of the sixth trumpet, which is the second woe trumpet. We can read that the fifth angel sounds, and that a star falls from heaven in Revelation 9:1, this star is satan, identified as Lucifer in Isaiah 14:12-16, and he goes to the bottomless pit where the fallen angels are kept in order to loose them, and as Revelation 9:2-10 tells us, to allow them to run loose on the earth, bringing in and establishing the deception of satans lies in preparation for satans ruling dominion. Oh, reading everything in Revelation 9:2-10 sounds so scary but, if you are familiar with Fathers Word, youll understand that this is all spiritual, and it is nothing but lies and deceptions and as Revelation 9:4 tells us, they cannot hurt anybody that is sealed with the truth of Fathers Word in their mind. Revelation 9:5 then tells us that this time can only be for five months, not seven years or ever 3 1/2 years, like most preachers say. Satan himself doesnt actually show up and take control until the sixth trumpet sounds, which is the second woe. That is when he will actually be here de facto, in charge and proclaiming himself to be Godin other words, as אלהים, ELOHIM. And it is in this time that he will be revealed. II Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. —>   It is during this time that the fallen angels are at work here on earth, satan up to this point is actually still being held by Michael the arch angel. Michael releases satan at the sixth trump as can be read in Revelation 12:7-9 which reads: Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,   —>   Notice the coma here, meaning, the sentence continues into the next verse [12:8] And prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven.   —>   Satan and his angels, as well see, are about to be ejected [12:9] And the great dragon was cast out that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:   —>   Which deceiveth the whole world=He deceives how many? The whole world! Everybody, except, as Revelation 9:4 tells us, those sealed with the truth of Fathers Word. Satan will be cast out unto the earth, and his angels will be cast out with him. Satanas a manbut not in the flesh because he will never be born of womanand anti-christand his angels now have full control over the whole earth. So, satan and his angels are here for that five month period deceiving the whole world, and then he is revealed for whom he is, and then Jesus returns, consuming his role as the instead of jesus, and turning all of us which are still alive in our flesh bodies into our spiritual bodies. [2:8] And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the LORD shall consume with the brightness of His coming:   —>   Satan gets revealed as to whom he is first, and then Jesus returns. That plain, that simple. [2:9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, [2:10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; (they perish spiritually because they accepted satans lies as truth) because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.   —>   They believed those preachers who told them they would be raptured by the first one that appeared, and when satan showed up, they accepted his lies and his mark, whereby when Jesus returns and they now see the fake for who he is\was and the True Christ of who He is, they will be wishing for mountains to fall upon them for their shame. What sadness, all those years they sat in their church, listening to a false doctrine, clutching that security blanket, only to have it pulled out of their hands at the end. For you preachers that teach this false doctrine, I pray for you, because you will be held accountable for every soul which you have deceived with this falseness. [2:11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:   —>   Did you see the colon at the end of that verse indicating that the verse continues: [2:12] That they might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.   —>   Father said, you want to believe a lie and not My Word, then Ill allow you too, not only that but Ill cause you believe even more lies. You want to listen to man and not study for yourself deeply enough, and ask Me for understanding and knowledge? Ill allow you to be fooled and deceived into worshipping satan as the pretend-to-be-jesus, anti-christ. Harsh words indeed, but, theyre Fathers Words, not mine. [2:13] But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:   —>   Who are these that are chosen? They are the Elect of God, who were chosen from the foundation of the world, those predestinated, those whose names were written in the Lambs Book of Life from the foundation of the world. The remnant of Father YHVH, were, and are those, who were chosen to bring forth the Truth in His Word and pass it on to the other Elect and so forth to the end of this age. Where can we read about these elect in Fathers Word? Start with Ephesians 1:4-5,11; Romans 8:28-39; Romans 11:1-10; Revelation 13:8 and 17:8 and many other places in His Word. Lets now return to Revelation 3: [3:12] Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the Temple of My God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from My God: and I will write upon him My new name. [3:13] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.   —>   If you understand the key of David, you will become part of Fathers Plan and be helpful to our Lord. Everyone who is helpful, is indeed blessed of Father. It is up to you. From I Samuel 16:11: We will not sit down=The phrase sit down is in the Strongs Concordance, Hebrew word number: H5437, - סבב, - sâbab, pronounced - saw-babי, and means: A primitive root; to revolve; surround or border; used in various applications, literally and figuratively: - bring, cast, fetch, lead, make, walk, X whirl, X round about, be about on every side, apply, avoid, beset (about), besiege, bring again, carry (about), change, cause to come about, X circuit, (fetch a) compass (about, round), drive, environ, X on every side, beset (close, come, compass, go, stand) round about, remove, return, set, sit down, turn (self) (about, aside, away, back).Total KJV occurrences: 157.. So, in other words, Samuel was saying that they would not sit down around the table to begin eating, until David was brought in before him. The entire town of Bethlehem awaits for Davids arrival for the sacrifice to begin. I Samuel 16:12 And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. —>   He sent and brought him in=Young David is the eighth son of Jesse. What does the number eight signify in Biblical Numerics? The number eight denotes and signifies New Beginningsfrom Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible Appendices: Denotes resurrection, regeneration; a new beginning or commencement. The eighth is a new first. Hence the octave in music, color, days of the week, &c. It is the number which has to do with the LORD, Who rose on the eighth, or new first-day. This is, therefore, the Dominical number. By Gematria(i.e. the addition of the numerical value of the letters together)יJJjjIhsousJesusmakes the number 888. It, or its multiple is impressed on all that has to do with the Lords Names, the Lords People the Lords Works.and were about to see and read of a New Beginning in Israel. We also know that through David is the seed-line through which the MessiahImmanuel God with us Jesus Christwill come. Ruddy=The word ruddy in the Strongs Concordance is Hebrew word number H132, - אדמוני or אדמני, - 'admonıy or 'admonıy, pronounced - ad-mo-neeי or ad-mo-nee'י, and means: From H119; reddish (of the hair or the complexion): - red, ruddy. Total KJV occurrences: 3.. Now lets look at H119, - אדם, - 'adam, pronounced - aw-damי, and means: To show blood (in the face), that is, flush or turn rosy: - be (dyed, made) red (ruddy). Total KJV occurrences: 10.. For this is he=This is Father YHVHs Anointed, David is Fathers chosen to be the king of Israel, the chosen seed-line through which our Father would be born in the flesh and walk in this Age with His children whom He sent to walk in the flesh.

From verse v28:4 above: …to be king over Israel for ever=This was and is an everlasting covenant that Father made with David. It came to pass as, Davids descendants ruled the House of IsraelSolomon over the entire Nation of the House of Israel until he started serving other, false godsand then the Nation of the House of Judah until the Nation went into captivity to the Babyloniansand Davids descendants still sit on the throne today, ruling over the kingdom of Great Britainthis happened when Jeremiah took Zedekiahs three daughters to Great Britain as the House of Judah went into captivity, when the three arrived, one of the daughters, Scota met and married the prince of Ireland and this Covenant will continue until Jesus return for His Second Advent.

I Chronicles 28:5 And of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me many sons,) He hath chosen Solomon (peaceful; or, peaceful) (shel-o-moי) my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.   —>   …for the LORD hath given me many sons…=Father did indeed give David many sons. David had several wives and concubines who bare him all the children he had. Fathers Word doesnt name all of them but, there are nineteen named: Amnon, Danielalso called ChileabAbsalom, Adonijah, Shephatiah, Ithream, Shimea, Shobab, Nathanthe seedline through which Father will be born in the flesh as His only begotten our Lord and saviour Jesus ChristSolomonthe line through which the king line would continueIbhar, Elishua, Elpelet, Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia, Elishama, Eliada and Eliphelet.

…He hath chosen Solomon…= When did Father choose Solomon? We can read of David declaring this twice in Fathers Word: once here in these Books of the Chronicles, i.e., I Chronicles 22:7-10 and also in II Samuel 7:8-16, from which well read: II Samuel 7:8 Now therefore so shalt thou say unto My servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My People, over Israel:   —>   LORD of hosts=This is Father in His role of צְבָאָהssיְהֹוָה, YHVH Tsevaיot, The LORD of the ArmiesHoststhe Hebrew word Tsevaיot means Army. From Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible, Page 367, Companion Note to verse I Samuel 1:3, Denotes the God of Israel as the LORD of all hosts of heaven and earth.. I took=It is Father Who chooses each of us to fulfill His roles. It was He Who chose Abraham, Isaac, Jacobwhom He later renamed Israeland then Moses and his brother Aaron to lead our forefathers up, out of their bondage to the Egyptians, then, first Saul and then David to be the first two men-kings over the House of Israel; much the way it was He Who told Jeremiah in Jeremiah 1:5 that it was He Who chose him before He formed him in his mothers belly, and, while he was growing in his mothers womb, Father anointed him to be a prophet for Father, as also it was He Who chose Saulwhom He later renamed Paulwhom He chose to record and write the majority of the New Testament of His Word. [7:9] And I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies out of thy sight, and have made thee a great name, like unto the name of the great men that are in the earth.   —>   Cut off all thine enemies=David got the credit for his slaying of tens of thousands of Philistines, even Goliath; however, it was Father Who deserved the credit because, as He states here, it was He Who gave David his victories over each and every one of his enemies. Remember what Father told David in II Samuel 5:23-24? When you hear Me move My army by the shaking of the trees overhead, then is the time for you charge forth. Father set the enemy running and David did the mopping up. If you stop and look back in your own life, you too will see how Father was there all along moving in your life also, and that is what He is telling David here, to stop and look back at the things which I have done for you already, and this should give you confidence in His faithfulness to you now. [7:10] Moreover I will appoint a place for My People Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,   —>   This declaration is actually a covenant by Father to all the People of the Nation of the House of Israel, and He would have upheld His end of the covenant, had Israel remained true and faithful and served Him only. But, man is man, and man falls short, and the Nation of Israel, just like their first man king Saul, turned from serving Father YHVH only, and served the gods of the nations all around them, and because of it, Father plucked them up, first the House of Israel the ten northern tribes by the Assyrians, and then the House of Judah the tribes of Judah, Benjamin and a sprinkling of Manasseh and Levites by the Babylonians. The Assyrians held the House of Israel captive until Father had the Assyrians scatter them to the four corners of the earth, the Babylonians held the House of Judah captive only for seventy years, and then Father raised up Darius who allowed them to return to Jerusalem in order to rebuild it. Even in our current Generation1948-presentin 1948 Father gave the Nation of Israel, through the UN, her own land which she still resides in today, and when her enemies which surrounded her and were encompassing her to retake her lands, Father gave her a grand victory over all her enemies, in 6 days she totally defeated each one who was coming against her. But, just like in the past, as time wore on, she turned and served other false gods, and now she again is faced with an enemy who is closing in on her. This is no different than we here in the USA part of the scattered tribes of Israel, we too Father planted and made the greatest Nation on all the earth, and we were great until we too turnedonce againfrom serving Father only, in order to serve other false gods, and now we too have fallen. Today, 2019, our enemy isnt only from without this country; but, also from within, Congress and Senate who fail and refuse to uphold their oaths of Office. This is also prophesy as, it not only applied to this Age; but, it looks forward to the Millennium age, that time when Jesus Christ, Emmanuel is here on earth dwelling with us. This takes place after the Second Advent. Look around you today, for there is plenty of wickedness in the world today. If there is any wickedness around you, Christ has not yet returned. The key to understanding what is being said here, is in the key of David, it is that Christ, Emmanuel God with usshall come through Davids loins. Father took David from the tending sheep in the sheepcote, and made him king. Then through that removing of those kingly garments, and putting on the robe of humility, David demonstrated the work of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. [7:11] And as since the time that I commanded judges to be over My People Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the LORD telleth thee that He will make thee an house.   —>   The LORD telleth thee that He will make thee an house=Here is the promise and the covenant of the future for those who do righteous. In verse vII Samuel 7:14 below, Ill bring in from I Chronicles 17:14 Fathers declaration which ties it all together. Focus on the spiritual side of this verse, for, this house is made up of believers. So, the house that father was speaking of here, is the house spoken of by Jesus in John 2: John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.   —>   It is the body of Christ, through David That is The key of David. Father has a plan, and when we try to stay with His plan, we are being pleasing to Him. [7:12] And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.   —>   Again, this promise by Father is two-fold as, it is in reference to Solomon who will next rule the kingdom of Israel; but also, of Nathan, from whose seed will come Father in the flesh as His only begotten Son: Jesus Christ. The next three verses are why we came here: [7:13] He shall build an house for My name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.   —>   He shall build an house for My name=Again, as I explained in my commentary in verse v28:4 above, it was Solomon who was the royal seedline and built the Temple in Jerusalem for all to come and worship Father in. [7:14] I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:   —>   I will be his Father, and he shall be My son=Here, Father is telling David that, He will be as a Father to Solomon and Solomon will be as a son to Father, so long as he lives righteously, serving and worshipping no other gods. …if he commit iniquity…=Of course, our Lord Jesusbeing and knowing He was and is Emanuel God in the fleshnever committed any iniquity, so this verse is directed directly at Solomon, who did commit much iniquity by his worshiping the false gods and idols of his many wives and concubines. It was because of Solomons iniquity, that Father divided the Nation of Israel into two separate Houses. Not only did our Lord Jesus not have any iniquity; but, as is declared in Isaiah 53, He took the stripes in order that we get the healing from our sins: Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with His stripes we are healed.. [7:15] But My mercy (loving kindness) shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. —>
Fathers love for His Son will never be removed from His Son because, you cannot remove the love for oneself. Sadly, too many Christians believebecause they have been taughtthat Father did indeed remove His love from Jesus, or at least, Jesus thought He did. How or why do I make this claim? Because, many Christians have been taught that as Jesus hung on that cross dying, He stated in Matthew 27:46 and mark 13:53: Mark 15:34 Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?   —>   What they fail to realize in their misinterpretation of Fathers Word though, is, that, Jesus was teaching us while He was dying on that cross, in other words, He was quoting and reciting Psalms 22 the entire Psalm, in which David starts with the phrase My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?. Unlike our Lord Who will never be rejected by Father, Saul on the other hand, was rejected as the first man king of Israel by our Father because of his disobedience and rejecting of Father and His Word. On more than one occasion did Father give Samuel guidance to give to Saul in what he should do, and in just about every one of those cases, Saul did just the opposite. Saul never sought out Father such as he sought out the witch of Endor with his whole heart. [7:16] And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.  —>   …thine house…=This is not speaking of a building, it is in reference to the many membered body of Christ, the same one He spoke of when contending with the Jews in John 2:18-21 saying: John 2:18 Then answered the Jews and said unto Him, What sign shewest Thou unto us, seeing that Thou doest these things? [2:19] Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this Temple, and in three days I will raise it up. [2:20] Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this Temple in building, and wilt Thou rear it up in three days? [2:21] But He spake of the Temple of His body.   —>   Yes, His flesh body, but, He was also referring to His many membered body, which is called the church, or believers. …established for ever…=This is a covenant that Father had made with David. It is a Covenant of Salt which Father gave to him concerning his Descendant The True David Jesus Christ. There are three separate and distinct subjects being spoken of here, which are all tied together: the house, the kingdom, and the throne. From the time that David was anointed as the second man king of Israel, all three of these things have been in existence, and their existence will continue until this earth age is over. Why? Because Father established them, and He protects them. At the end of this Age, during the Millennium and the Eternity, Jesus will be the King Who rules over the House, the Kingdom and the Throne.

Solomon=Solomon was one of, if not the greatest king to rule Israel. Though his father David was and is the king by which all other kings were compared against, it was Solomon who Father came to in that dream where He asked Solomon Ask what I shall give thee? Solomon replied in I Kings 3: I Kings 3:6 And Solomon said Thou hast shewed unto Thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before Thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with Thee; and Thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that Thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day. [3:7] And now, O LORD my God, Thou hast made Thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in. [3:8] And Thy servant is in the midst of Thy People which Thou hast chosen, a great People, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude. [3:9] Give therefore Thy servant an understanding heart to judge Thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this Thy so great a People?. He took over the throne from his father when he was at the tender age of 19he wasnt Israels youngest king, there were several others who had that distinctionand he reigned for forty years, from 920–880B.C., he was 59 years old when he returned Home to Father in heaven. Solomon accomplished a lot of things during his reign, and a lot of good things. For the first 20+ years he did very well: He built the Temple; the palatial complex; the House of the Cedar of Lebanon; the house for pharaoh's daughter: the queen; and he brought in much gold and other sundries. It wasn’t until he got the big head after he completed all his building and Father appeared to him, Blessing him with all the wisdom he had, and then wanting to show off that Father Given Wisdom. It was then he started succumbing to the lust of the flesh, and he started accumulating his wives and concubines, and then started worshipping and building altars for his foreign wives false gods, and causing Israel to worship them too. Remember, all of the things that Solomon and Israel did, bringing in the wealth of the world by ships, and it happened in a short span of only forty years. The etymology name Solomon comes from the fertile and familiar root שלם (shalem), meaning to be unbroken or whole: The noun שלמה (shilluma) is identical to our name Sholomoh, and is used in Psalm 91:8 in the meaning of reward or recompense (of the wicked). This illustrates the perhaps anti-intuitive notion that a bad result of something that was bad to begin with, is still very good (or rather: just). Although Psalm 91 is anonymous and tradition demands that Solomon is the great peace-king, his name may have stemmed from Davids deep remorse and grief over losing Solomons older sibling. When Solomon is born, the prophet Nathan receives word from Father that this child is loved by Him. Hence He names him JedidiahThe name Jedidiah is a combination of two elements: The second element of the name Jedidiah is יה, which is the commonly accepted abbreviated form of the Tetragrammaton יהוה, which is YHVH, or Yahveh, the sacred Name of Father. The first element of the name Jedidiah comes from the verb ידד (yadad) , meaning to loveas can be read in II Samuel 12:25, although this name is, sadly, never again used.. Now from the Strongs Concordance, we find that it is Hebrew word number: H8010, - ש למה, - shelômôh, pronounced - shel-o-moי, and means: From H7965; peaceful; Shelomoh, Davids successor: - Solomon. Total KJV occurrences: 293.. Now from the Smiths Bible Dictionary, where we read: The description of Solomon in the Smiths Bible Dictionary is extensive and too long to post here; so, Ill instead just post the link to it: Solomon.

I Chronicles 28:6 And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build My house and My courts: for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his father.   —>   …My house and My courts=Father not only chose Solomon to be the next man-king over the Nation of the House of IsraelFathers Chosen Peoplebut, to be the builder of His House, i.e., His Temple and the Inner and Outer Courts of His Temple.

…to be My son, and I will be his Father=This is not only in reference to Solomon, but also to Davids generational Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I Chronicles 28:7 Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do My commandments and My judgments, as at this day.   —>   …IF…=Did you note that condition brethren? Sadly, there are far too many preachers who teach that our Father is such a loving Father that, He loves us unconditionally, which is just NOT true. Yes, He loves us, no doubt about that however, we must love HimHe tells us what He wants from us in Hosea 6:6 which reads: Hosea 6:6 For I desired mercy (love), and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than your burnt offerings.AND also be hearers and doersJames, brother of Jesus and the writer of the Epistle named after him, tells us this in James 1:22-25 which reads: James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. [1:23] For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: [1:24] For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. [1:25] But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.of His Word, His Commandments, His Judgments, His Laws, His Ordinances, and His Statutes.

Sadly, Solomonthe man who Father Blessed with more wisdom than any other man because, Solomon asked for all his wisdom when Father appeared to him in as dream as can be read in I Kings 3:5-14failed in fulfilling his end of the Promise. As the years passed and he began to get the big head, in other words, an ego the size of all Israel, he took on to himself those 700 wives and 300 concubinesmany of these women were foreigners whom Solomon allowed to bring their false gods into Israel with themand served their gods. So, Father again appeared to him near the end of his reign and rule and told him that He would be dividing the Nation into two separate Nations, however, He would not do so until after Solomon returned Home to Him.

I Chronicles 28:8 Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the LORD, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the LORD your God: that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever.   —>   …keep and seek…=Solomonlike us living today and every generation before ushad two excellent examples before him: first, Saul who couldnt find his own donkeys and then, partway through his reign and rule over the Nation, stopped honoring, seeking, serving and worshipping Father. What happened because of Sauls turning from Father? He forsook Father, so Father forsook him and took away the king line from his descendants; and then his own father David, who, though he sinned, he never stopped honoring, seeking, serving and worshipping Father. Solomonagain, like we living todayshould have more closely followed after his father, Davids example because, though he did sin, Father did not remove the king line from his descendants. As always, the choice is ours to make, Father gave us all free-will to choose to Love Him or not, choose wisely brethren.

…that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you for ever=Had our forefathers actually complied with what Father and David stated here, Father would have never (1) divided the Nation into two separate Nations; (2) sent first the House of Israel into captivity to the Assyrians and then scattered them all throughout the worldwhich in reality, might not have been a bad thing when you think about itand (3) sent the House of Judah into captivity to the Babylonians for those 70 years and allowing JerusalemHis most favorite place in all His Created Universeto be destroyed and burnt to the ground; but, no, man is man and they just cannot seem to be doers of Fathers Commandments, Judgments, Laws, Ordinances and Statutes. Therefore, they lost their inheritance and were not able to pass it down to their descendants to this day.

28:9-10 Davids charge to
   Solomon.
28:9 Solomon charged.

Beginning with this next verse, David turns his attention and focus directly to his son Solomon.

I Chronicles 28:9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek Him, He will be found of thee; but if thou forsake Him, He will cast thee off for ever.
—>   I wish I could do a double and or triple underline on the word willing in this verse as, it shows that we have the free-will to choose to serve Father, or not. This verse also very plainly points out the effects of both: IF we choose to seek and serve Father, He WILL be found and will also Bless us; however, if we choose to NOT seek and serve Him, He WILL cast us off.

Again, for those who say that Father Loves us unconditionally, this verse proves that their thought-process is incorrect. For those who would like to contend and say that Paul teaches differently in the New Testament as, he teaches in Hebrews 13: Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.   —>   Of course, those who espouse these teachings, completely omit the conditional IF.

Lets turn back to I Kings 2:1 to read what David told Solomon: I Kings 2:1 Now the days of David drew nigh that he should die; and he charged Solomon his son, saying,   —>   …he charged Solomon his son…= This reminds me of what Father told Joshua after He had taken Moses Home, and when He charged Joshua on how to lead Israel as can be read in Joshua 1:6-9 which reads: Joshua 1:6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.   —>   Though the land was divided in Joshuas day and Solomon neednt worry about that, he does still have quite a bit to concern himself with, i.e., the running and caring for the entire kingdom. [1:7] Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.   —>   The first words out of Moses mouth to Joshua in both these versesJoshua 1:6 and Joshua 1:7 and well find in the final one Ive includedis, be strong and courageous, something all leaders who have never held the position before, need to learn how to do. [1:8] This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.   —>   This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth=Father commanded in Deuteronomy 17:18 that every king of Israel write their own copy of The Law in order that they learn it and learn how to follow it. [1:9] Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
—>   …for the LORD thy God is with thee…=Solomon was anointed by Father to be the third man king of Israel, and so long as Solomon keeps Fathers charge of hearing, obeying, and doing His Commandments, Judgments, Laws, Ordinances and Statutes, Father will not leave Solomon, howeverand, sadly, this does come to passshould Solomon turn from following and worshiping Father, then, Father will no longer be with Solomon. Its the same with us today brethren, if we follow, serve and worship Father, He will never leave us nor forsake us. [2:2] I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and shew thyself a man; —>   …show thyself a man=Sadly, a lot of people think that because Solomon was not a warfighter like his father, David; but instead, a peaceful man, he therefore was a fearfully weak man, which really isnt true. David isnt telling Solomon to grow a pair of brass horns here, hes telling himlike Fathers words to Joshua just after Father took Moses Hometo be strong. Good words for a father to a son, what David is actually saying is, for his son to be resolute as, that is what this word strong is in the original manuscripts: H2388, - חזק, - châzaq, pronounced - khaw-zakי, and means: A primitive root; to fasten upon, hence to seize, be strong (figuratively courageous, causatively strengthen, cure, help, repair, fortify), obstinate; to bind, restrain, conquer: - aid, amend, X calker, catch, cleave, confirm, be constant, constrain, continue, be of good (take) courage (-ous, -ly), encourage (self), be established, fasten, force, fortify, make hard, harden, help, (lay) hold (fast), lean, maintain, play the man, mend, become (wax) mighty, prevail, be recovered, repair, retain, seize, be (wax) sore, strengten (self), be stout, be (make, shew, wax) strong (-er), be sure, take (hold), be urgent, behave self valiantly, withstand. Total KJV occurrences: 290.. [2:3] And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, and His commandments, and His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself: —>
…His ways…His statutes…His Commandments…His Judgments…His Testimonies…=Brethren, Davids words to Solomon are just as applicable to you and I today. If we too walk in Fathers Ways, keeping His Statutes, His Commandments, His Judgments and His Testimonies, things will go well for us. Yes, if we do these things, our adversary satan will more frequently attack us as, he doesnt want us to do these things; but, again, Father will never leave us nor forsake us. Sadly, also today, far too many people just dont know the difference between Fathers Commandments, Judgments, laws, Ordinances, Statutes, or Testimonies. The commandments are Fathers moral laws for our lives, and, they are just as important, right, and true today, as the day Father gave them to Moses on Mount Sinai. The first five commandments are directly related to our relationship with Father, while the last five are directed to mans morality, to govern his relations to his fellow man. The Judgments are those things which have to do with civil law. His statutes were and are, the ceremonial teachings and things to observe, most of the statutes were symbolic in nature, and were nailed to the cross with Jesus; whereas His testimonies deal with the laws and regulations of special services, as Father deals with His people in their lives. We will see as both this Chapter, and Solomons life progresses, that Solomon will be tested in each of these areas of instructions that David is giving to him. Following these instructions will make you a far wiser person and a better Christian because, it will bring discipline in your life. It shows us how easily we can be taken in by others, when there is no discipline in our minds. We are talking about the common sense that Father has given us, and making the right choices with the knowledge and common sense that is in our minds. If you ever expect to be Blessed by Father and prosper, than you will have to pay attention to this example that David is giving to his son. It is up to you whether you will be Blessed or not. This history lesson is an ensample to each of us today. …as it is written in the law of Moses=When we read these words, we should go and research where it was written, and what was actually said. So, lets do just that, lets go to the Law, to Deuteronomy 17These words and laws were given by Father to Moses some 550-600 years previous, and Father had known that eventually, Israel would seek to replace Him as their King with a man; therefore, these words are the words and laws that a man king should and should not doDeuteronomy 17:14 When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me;   —>   While our forefathers were still wandering the desert for those 38 years after Father had brought them up, out of the land of Egypt, He knew that they in the future would reject Him and instead, favor a man to be king over them. So, now He is going to tell them what that man king shall and shall not do: [17:15] Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother. —>
Only an Israelite was and is allowed to rule over them. This is why we in the USA are in the trouble were in today, because, we did not hear and obey Father, but, have made us Governmental Representativesdemocratic representatives Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib and otherswho are not of Israel. If you dont understand this, you need to research where the lost ten tribes of Israel are scattered to today. Ill give you a hint, they are not in the land of Israel, and they are still scattered. [17:16] But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.   —>   Horses were known to be in Egypt, and it was Egypt that Father had brought them out of. So, here He is commanding them to not return there to get any horses, or for any other reason. [17:17] Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.   —>   Horses, silver, gold, and wives, all material things to show wealth: all things Father forbade, because He didnt want the man king to think too much of himself. He wanted the man to be more focused on His People. Sadly, David started to do this as, he had several wives; however, the man who now sits on the throne, Davids son Solomon will, by the end of his reign, multiply to himself way too many wives and concubines. He accumulate 700 wives and 300 concubines, and sadly, because many of these concubines are foreigners who serve other false gods, he too will follow and serve them and cause the nation of Israel to also follow, serve and worship them. Therefore Father will tear the kingdom in two. [17:18] And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:   —>   Each and every man king was to write his own copy of Fathers Law to keep it fresh in his mind, to read it every day, to use it to judge Fathers People, and, so that, the man king know that Father is there over him, and therefore, reverence Him. Today, if we had more kings of their own castle, mendo as Father commanded, and write their own copy of Fathers Lawsuch as Im doing here, and that is no boast, just factthen, wed have a lot more people with a lot more knowledge of Father and His Word. [17:19] And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them: —>
The man king was to do and follow Father and His Laws, so that His People would also follow Father, never turning aside from Him to worship other false gods. [17:19] That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.   —>   If they, and we, followed, loved and worshiped Father, then He would never leave them, not forsake them, and things would always go well for them, and us. …as it is written…=Notice the emphasis is laid on Fathers Word written. Dr. Bullinger writes in his parallel notes to the verse at Exodus 17:14, that this is the First occurrence of the written Word. The tablets found at Lachish and Tel-el-Amarna show show that writing of a high order was fully developed before the time of Moses. and, In the Book This writing afterward ordered for the Book of the Law (24:4,7). See Ap.47, where the history of that Book is traced from this passage to Malachi..

The eleventh of the twenty-five sederimor cycles for public readingof the Books of the Chronicles, begins with the next verse and ends at verse II Chronicles 2:2, thus showing that the two Books were never separate when originally written in the original Manuscriptsknown as the Massoratic Textsthey became divided and separate by the Septuagint Translators sometime during the 3rd century B.C.. The dividing of the Books has been followed in all the subsequent versions.

28:10 Solomon charged.

I Chronicles 28:10 Take heed now; for the LORD hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.   —>   …Be strong=Here again, we see David encouraging and telling his young son Solomon to be valiant and to trust in Father as, He has chosen Solomon to build His Temple.

28:11-19 The pattern
   delivered.
28:11-19 THE PATTERN
   DELIVERED. (Introversion.)
28:11 The pattern given
   by David.
28:11 The house and its
   parts.

I Chronicles 28:11 Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and of the inner parlours thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,   —>   Here, we read of David passing along the plansthe blueprints, if you willto his son. Now, David didnt just make up these plans on his own; no, he was given the plans to Fathers Temple and all Its contents by Divine revelationread that, in writing by His hand upon mefrom Father as well read when we come to verse v28:19 belowjust as He gave the pattern to Moses, Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan as can be read in Exodus 25:2-31:6.

…the porch…the houses…the treasuries…the chambers…the parlours…=Did you catch the order in which these were given brethren? Father started on the outside and worked His way inward, and yes, I did purposely leave the place of Mercy Seat out of this paragraph. Why? because I wanted to address It separately. But before I do, I wanted to say that, Dr. Bullinger allows David to continue into the next verse before he comments, but, I like his note there and Ill bring it in here: The pattern without, and the worship within, all of God. Nothing can be offered in worship but what comes from God (John 4:24). Therefore said to be built by David in intention, and by Solomon in fact..

…the place of the mercy seat=This is obviously, the Holiest of Holies; the very center of Fathers Temple. Of course, the Mercy Seat being, the cover for Fathers Ark Itself. Mercy Seat is in the Strongs Concordance, Hebrew word number: H3727, - כַּפֹּרֶת, - kappôreth, pronounced - kap-poי-reth, and means: From H3722; a lid (used only of the cover of the sacred Ark): - Mercy Seat. Total KJV occurrences: 27.. From Dr. Bullingers Companion Notes to this verse: propitiatory cover (Heb. kapporeth=cover). By Figure, cover put for the propitiation made through the blood sprinkled thereon. It therefore denotes propitiation. Cp. Hebrews 9:5. Hence the meaning, Gods propitiatory gift, as in Papyri. Cp. Romans 3:25..

Pattern=Check out this word Pattern in your Strongs Concordance brethren, and youll find that it is Hebrew word number: H8403, - תַּבְנִית, - tabnı̂yth, pronounced - tab-neethי, and means: From H1129; structure; by implication a model, resemblance: - figure, form, likeness, pattern, similitude. Total KJV occurrences: 20.. This is the same word Father used when He told Moses to build Him a Sanctuary and He then imprinted the pattern of the Tabernacle in Moses mind as can be read in Exodus 25:9. I like Dr. Bullingers Note at Exodus 25:9, he notes there that: Compare Hebrews 8:5. Not a plan, but a model. The reality is in heaven. So with the temple, later. 1 Chronicles 28:11-19. With the utmost exactitude certain representative measurements given. Nine others, vital to construction, but not for significance, not given. Probably these Divine silences were to make any unauthorized structures impossible. These nine were: — (1) Thickness of sides and bottom of ark; (2) thickness of mercy seat and details of cherubim; (3) thickness of table; (4) dimensions of lampstand. (5) thickness of boards.; (6) middle-bar dimensions; (7) size, &c., of rams skins; (8) ditto badgers skins; (9) all thicknesses of brazen altar (the third dimension)..

And=Notice all the and(s) in this and the next few verses brethren? The use of multiple and(s) in Fathers Word indicates a polysyndeton. These consecutive or multiple uses of the word and, are used to highlight and emphasize each detail and point.

28:12 The house and its
   parts.

I Chronicles 28:12 And the pattern of all that he had by the Spirit, of the courts of the house of the LORD, and of all the chambers round about, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the dedicated things:   —>   These treasuries are all the treasuries which were scattered throughout all the different territories which collected the Free-Will Offerings from all the People of Israel and also the monthly tribute from all the surrounding nations.

Dedicated things=Sacred or Holy. When we look at the word Holy we read from Dr. Bullingers Companion Bible, page 76, where we read: This is ever the cry and noblest praise of all of Fathers saints and can be compared with Exodus 15:11: Exodus 15:11 Who is like unto Thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like Thee, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders?. Holy means separated or set apart for Father. It is always rendered of the Hebrew word Kodesh from the Strongs Concordance where we find that it is Hebrew word number: H6944, - קֹדֶש, - qôdesh, pronounced - koי-desh, and means: From H6942; a sacred place or thing; rarely abstractly sanctity: - consecrated (thing), dedicated (thing), hallowed (thing), holiness, (X most) holy (X day, portion, thing), saint, sanctuary. Total KJV occurrences: 470., except in Psalms 42:4 where is it rendered Hagag H2287, - חָגַג, - châgag, pronounced - khaw-gagי, and means: A primitive root; compare H2283; H2328; properly to move in a circle, that is, (specifically) to march in a sacred procession, to observe a festival; by implication to be giddy: - celebrate, dance, (keep, hold) a (solemn) feast (holiday), reel to and fro. Total KJV occurrences: 16. = holy day, and Deuteronomy 33:8, Psalms 16:2, 86:2, 89:19, 145:17 where it is rendered Hasid H2623, - חָסִיד, - châsı̂yd, pronounced - khaw-seedי, and means: From H2616; properly kind; that is, (religiously) pious (a saint): - godly (man), good, holy (one), merciful, saint, [un-] godly. total KJV occurrences: 32. = favor or grace. Kodesh must have one identical meaning (as above) in all passages; and does not imply moral quality except when used of God Himself. It can also be rendered consecrated, dedicated, hallowed, holiness, saint, and sanctuary..

28:13 The service of the
   house.

I Chronicles 28:13 Also for the courses of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and for all the vessels of service in the house of the LORD.   —>   Remember brethren, were still discussing the pattern here, so, what these courses are, are the pattern of the rooms for the Levites and Priests who come to Jerusalem to fulfill the weekly and monthly sabbath and or courses as, they needed lodging when they came to fulfill their course.

We see in these instructions which Father implanted into Davids mind that, He is leaving nothing to chance, or for man to err upon. Father is telling David how He wants to be, and how He is Supposed to be Worshipped. He is ensuring that therell be nothing in which they can slip in their doctrine, dogma, or traditions of man. Sadly though, through time, man will indeed allow all those to slip in.

28:14-18 The house and
   its furniture.

I Chronicles 28:14 He gave of gold by weight for things of gold, for all instruments of all manner of service; silver also for all instruments of silver by weight, for all instruments of every kind of service:   —>   These instruments are all the vessels which the Priests will be utilizing in their course of service of ministering to Father as they Worshipped Him.

Again, we see that Father gave to David to pass on to Solomon, the pattern and the weight requirements of gold and silver for each of these vessels which will be used in service to Him.

I Chronicles 28:15 Even the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of gold, by weight for every candlestick, and for the lamps thereof: and for the candlesticks of silver by weight, both for the candlestick, and also for the lamps thereof, according to the use of every candlestick.   —>   These candlesticks and lamps are the lampstands or what we know today to be the Menora. As we see, there were both gold and silver Menora. Well learn when we come to II Chronicles 4 that, therell be ten gold Menora inside the Holiest of Holies, five on the right-hand side and five on the left-hand side.

Also to note concerning these candlesticks and their holders is, that, unlike what we have and think of today concerning the candles we burn for various reasons, where we have our candle with made of wax and a wickor several wicksin the center of the wax, our forefathers just burned oil with a wick inside the oilthink of our hurricane lamps or our outdoor tiki torchesand that was what was in these candlestick holders, oil with a wick in the midst thereof.

Several other things to consider when we think on these lampstands: (1) the function of the lampstands was to put off light inside the Temple, the Sanctuary and the Holiest of Holies in order for the Priests to be able to see by; (2) what else do we think of when we think of light? We think of the Truth in Father and His Word, and as were speaking of the Light, the Priests and the Temple, this signifies to us that the role of the Priests was to put forth the Truth to the world, (3) our Lord and Saviour Jesus told in The Gospel of John that He is the Light of the world: meaning that He is the Truth of the world, again, meaning that He brought the Truth to the world so that we in the flesh could have the Truthful knowledge of Father and His Word; (4) we read in Revelation 1: that, John, when he was in his vision, he saw 7 golden candlesticks, and Jesus told him that those 7 candlesticks represented the seven churches: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea; of which we read in Revelation 2 and 3, that Jesus was only pleased with 2 Philadelphia and Smyrna, as it was only those 2 which put forth the Light and the Truth.

The Silver candlesticks we most likely small individual candlesticks which were able to carried by those whose duties inside the Temple could see by, i.e., the porters whose duty it was to be the overseers of the treasuries and such.

I Chronicles 28:16 And by weight he gave gold for the tables of shewbread, for every table; and likewise silver for the tables of silver:   —>   Inside the Holy Place was the Table of Shewbread and the Altar of Incense which we both made of gold. Outside the Holy Place was the Court of the Temple where was conducted, the slaying of the sacrificial animals on tables which were also made of gold.

Like as the silver candlesticks in the previous verse, I suspect that these silver tables were used inside the treasuries. Fathers Word only ever mentions them here this verse, so we really dont know positively.

I Chronicles 28:17 Also pure gold for the fleshhooks, and the bowls, and the cups: and for the golden basons he gave gold by weight for every bason; and likewise silver by weight for every bason of silver:   —>   These basons were covered bowls made of varying sizes. Many of them were used in the preparation of the sacrifices, many were used to hold water which the Priests used to wash the sacrifices before and after slaughtering the animals.

Those of you familiar with Fathers Word, at the mention of the word fleshhooks, your mind probably went backlike mine didto Fathers High Priest, Prophet, and Judge Eli and his sons of belial who were committing abominations when the People came Shiloh to offer sacrifice to Father. Their custom was, well, lets turn to I Samuel 2 and read it for ourselves: I Samuel 2:12 Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD.   —>   Eli is the descendant of Aarons son Ithamar. He is the first in the line to hold the position of High Priest, and sadly, he allows sonsHophni and Phinehasto become worthless scoundrels who knew not Father YHVH. Even more sadly, their father allowed them to be wicked before Father. Personally, I cannot understand how the High Priest of Father and Judge of Israel at this time, could have allowed this to take place. Just how wicked were Elis two idiot sons? [2:13] And the priests custom with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priests servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand;   —>   The Priest being Eli, and his servants were his sons and the nethinimswho had come to Joshua and the elders asking to join unto Israel because they too wanted to serve Father, but had lied to them, and when Joshua found them out as to their true identity, he made the the drawers of water and the hewers of wood for Fathers Altar, in other words, they were now Temple Servantswho had their hand in, and played their role in this, Im sure. So, what was happening? They had made a customa tradition of manin other words, a custom that was not according to Fathers Direction and Law as well see as we read these next few verses. We would also read in I Samuel 2:22-24, if I were to take this that far, that these two idiots were laying with the women who came to the Tabernacle to offer sacrifices. [2:14] And he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; all that the fleshhook brought up the priest took for himself. So they did in Shiloh unto all the Israelites that came thither.   —>   …the Priest took for himself=Thus robbing the offerers of their own portion which was completely against what Father directed in Leviticus 7:31-35. [2:15] Also before they burnt the fat, the priests servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he will not have sodden flesh of thee, but raw.   —>   …they…=Not the offerer, but the Priest for him, this too was contrary to Fathers directions of Leviticus 3:16, 7:23,25,30, and 31. [2:16] And if any man said unto him, Let them not fail to burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it me now: and if not, I will take it by force.   —>   The priest took for himself=Were the priests supposed to take anything? No, as we already read above, they were authorized by Fathers Law to receive a portion for themselves. But here, these sons of Eli these sons of belialwere ripping the people off and making Father and His Laws an abomination to the people. They were takingby forcein other words, they were stealing from the people, and sadly, it gets worse. If there was a good side to this, it was that they at least werent claiming it to be for Father YHVH. …fat…=The fat was not to be consumed by man because it contains all the poisons; therefore, it was to be burnt and offered to Father. But, here in this verse, we are seeingagain the breaking of Fathers Lawbecause Elis sonsand probably the nethinims toowere demanding of the people to not put the offering in the seething pot, but instead give them the raw flesh so that they could cook it over an open flame, or for that matter, they may have been selling it to make a profit for themselves. Either way, the Priests were breaking the Law, and again making Father and His Laws an abomination to the people. It is because of these things, and others by those in charge, that the people in the future will demand a man king. In reality, it should have drove the people away from manmore toward Fatherand they should have demanded the Priests and those in charge, to leave them alone and asked Father to intervene on their behalf. [2:17] Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the LORD: for men abhorred the offering of the LORD.   —>   These two sons of Eli made the sacrifice so abominable to the people that, the people absolutely despised to come to Shilohto the House of Godand to offer up their prayers and offerings to Father, it became contemptible to them.

I Chronicles 28:18 And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubims, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD.   —>   There are several things to look at in this verse brethren. Lets start with the refined gold, for the Altar of Incense. This is in the Strongs Concordance, Hebrew word number: H2212, - זָקַק, - zâqaq, pronounced - zaw-kakי, and means: A primitive root; to strain; (figuratively) extract, clarify: - fine, pour down, purge, to purify, refine. Total KJV occurrences: 7.. So in other words, Father had given to Davidwho then passed that onto his son Solomonthe weight of the finest pure gold which His Altar was to be made of.

This pattern of the chariot of the cherubims, could confuse one and cause them to think that the cherubim(s) were on chariots, which would be incorrect. I too stumbled for second until I looked the word chariot, up in the Strongs Concordance. We find that it is Hebrew word number: H4818, - מֶרְכָּבָה, - merkâbâh, pronounced - mer-kaw-bawי, and means: Feminine of H4817; a chariot: - chariot. See also H1024. Total KJV occurrences: 44.. As we see, that really didnt clear things up for us. So, lets continue to take it back a little further. Lets now look up H4817 in the Strongs Concordance: H4817, - מֶרְכָּב, - merkâb, pronounced - mer-kawbי, and means: H7392; a chariot; also a seat (in a vehicle): - chariot, covering, saddle. Total KJV occurrences: 3.. What seat and covering is being discussed here in this verse? Remember were discussing Fathers Temple, and inside His Temple was His Ark of the Covenant, and atop His Ark was and is the Mercy Seat. This is verified by reading the remainder of the verse itself …the cherubims, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD..

…cherubims…=Cherubims are special angels, angelic, or spirit-beings created by Father for His heavenly realm. They hold a special place and position in Fathers Kingdom. From every description in Fathers Word, it appears that He created them to be protectors either of Him or of something He holds dear to Him: i.e., (1) In Genesis 3, after Adam and Eve committed their great sin with satan in the Garden of Eden, Father placed Cherubims at the east of the Garden, and a flaming sword to protect the Tree of Life, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; (2) When He gave to Moses the instructions to build the Ark of the Covenant and the Mercy Seat which sat a top of ItExodus 25:17-22there were\are two Cherubim who face each other to protect It or Who sits upon It, i.e., Father or Jesus Christ; (3) In His description of the king of Tyrea descriptor of satanin Ezekiel 28:12-19, Father says that He created him an anointed cherubfull of wisdom and perfect in beautyto cover, or overshadow, or protect His Mercy Seat, He further states that he was there in the Garden of Eden, thus we know He was speaking of satan, and not some man king who ruled and reigned over the land of Tyre. Satan was one of the two protectors of Fathers Mercy Seat and it is my belief that, though he is never called a protecting cherub, I believe the Arch Angel Michael was and is the other protector. Why do I state this? Because, where is satan at this very moment? He is behind Fathers throne and who is watching over him and who is it who wars against him and his angels at the end of this Age and then kicks he and they out of heaven and on to this earth? Michael does. Dr. Bullinger has a pretty good discussion of the Cherubim in his Companion Bible Appendices, Appendix 41. As these Cherubim are angelic in nature, and as Father says that satan was a cherub, we can pretty much safely assume that their appearance is much like that of we in the flesh, especially considering that we were created in theirFather and the angelslikeness.

…wings…=As I stated a second ago, that we were created in Fathers and the angels likeness, and as we do not have wings, neither do Father and the angels. Man gets his thoughts that the angels have wings because of these cherubim being fashioned with wings. The reason Father had man fashion them with wings were for the very reasons I just stated above, i.e., they are symbolic and representative of covering and protecting.

28:19 The pattern given
   to David.

I Chronicles 28:19 All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by His hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.   —>   Again, like MosesBezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of DanDavid did not fashion Fathers Temple and Tabernacle from the imagination of his own heart, no, it was Father Who imprinted the blueprint and designs in Davids mind as we read in the verse and my commentary of verse v28:11 above.

This is how we know how Father wants us to Worship Him, by doing things His way. To do the things of Him our way or any other way is youor wejust playing church, in other words, making up our own religion. We truly see this within these past few centuries man making up his own religion. We see so many traditions of man, doctrine and dogma made up by all our different denominations, which is really where we get ourselves in trouble with Father. It is always wise brethren to do things HIS WAY.

28:20 Solomon charged.

I Chronicles 28:20 And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.  —>   …be strong and of good courage…=Almost identical and word-for-word of what Moses told Joshua in Deuteronomy 31:7.

So, David has now charged his son Solomon to build Fathers Temple. Solomon will indeed do so, however, the actual work will not actually start until Solomons second year of rule over the Nation of the House of Israel. The construction will last for 7 1/2 years until completion.

…He will not fail thee…=Father will neither fail nor forsake us, so long as we do NOT fail or forsake Him we must meet that condition.

28:21 Solomon charged.

I Chronicles 28:21 And, behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even they shall be with thee for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be with thee for all manner of workmanship every willing skilful man, for any manner of service: also the princes and all the People will be wholly at thy commandment.   —>   …behold…=Dr. Bullinger notes in his scholarly notes to this verse in his Companion Bible, that Davids use of this word behold, is an asterismos, meaning that its, Employing some word which directs special attention to some paticular point or subject. In this case, David is pointing out to Solomon that he should pay particularly close attention to the instructions which he is passing down to his son.

David is telling Solomon that he has at his disposal, many knowledgeable, skilled, and wise men, that he should put them to good use, and they in turn will assist him in completing his task of not only building Fathers Temple, but also in successfully carrying out his reign and rule over Fathers People: Israel.
