HEBREWS CHAPTER 7

Does Fathers Word state that Jesus ever walked in this Age of flesh man prior to His birth in the flesh? The answer is yes, it does, and those timesa minimum of three are recorded in His Wordcan be found in the following Books, Chapters and Verses, Ill list them in Chronological order of the Bible: Genesis 2: Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.   —>   Jesus is the Tree of Life. Just as He is the True Vine, the Bread of Life, and the Living Waters. Lets skip down to verse Genesis 2:15: Genesis 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. [2:16] And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: [2:17] But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.   —>   Yes, our Lord and Savior Jesus, was right there in the Garden of Eden along with Father, satan, and Adam and Eve. He was and is the Tree of Life. Adam and Eve were told that they were allowed to partake of Jesus the Tree of Life. How would they do this? Almost the same way we do today, by learning about Him, Honoring Him, Serving Him, Worshiping Him, and for us today, by partaking of the Holy Sacraments of Communion.

Likewise also, they were told to not partake of satan the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, how would they have partaken of him? Almost the same way, by learning of him and his ways, but also, and sadly, this they did, they allowed themselves to be wholly seduced mind and bodybeguiled in both the Hebrew and the Greekby him.

The second recorded timethat Ill presentour Lord walked this Age before being born in the fleshand Ill skip the chronological order here for a minuteis found in Daniel 3: Daniel 3:20 And he (Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon) commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.   —>   Allow me to set this up. The reason we are talking about Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, is because the Nation of the House of Israel has for many years been dividedby Father due to Israels chasing after false gods and idolsinto two separate Nations the House of Israel and the House of Judah. The House of Israel has for over 200 hundred years, been taken captive by the Assyrians and now the House of Judah is captive to the Nebuchadnezzar and Babylonians. The 3 men mentioned in this verseShadrach, Meshach and Abednego, their Chaldee names, not their Hebrew names, are captive Israelitesthe reason Nebuchadnezzar was going to cast these three men into the burning fiery furnace is because they broke Nebuchadnezzars law by Honoring, serving and Worshiping Father YHVH, and not Nebuchadnezzars false gods. [3:21] Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. [3:22] Therefore because the kings commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. [3:23] And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of burning fiery furnace. [3:24] Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.   —>   king Nebuchadnezzar is starting to sense something is wrong, and he asks his counselorsactually it is more of a statement than a questionhis counselors answer him correctly, that yes, they threw three men into the furnace. This next verse is why we came to the Book of Daniel: [3:25] He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.   —>   What happened next? [3:26] Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.   —>   For some people, it requires seeing in order to believe, and Nebuchadnezzar just became a believer in Father ELYONFather in His role of The Most High GOD. [3:27] And the princes, governors, and captains, and the kings counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. [3:28] Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent His angel, and delivered His servants that trusted in Him, and have changed the kings word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.   —>   When you have Father on and by your side, you never have anything to fear; just as Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego have shown us in these verses.

The third time that Ill present will be covered after verse Hebrews 7:1.

Hebrews 7 brings us to an interesting and knowledge learning Chapter in Fathers Word. Many people wonder Who this MelchisedecMelchizedek in the Hebrewis. Sadly also, so do most preachers, but, if we read and Study Fathers Word and listen to Him, well quickly discover it is His Son Jesus Christ. So, lets do just that: read, study and listen.

With that introduction being said, lets go to Father and ask Him for His Blessings on our Study of His Word: Father, I come to You right now and ask that You Oh LORD Lead me and Guide me as I try and teach Your Word, dont allow me to mis-teach or mis-lead Your Children. We, Father, also come to You as a group who desire to Learn Your Word, to thank You for inviting us to Your table in order that we might be able to partake of and receive Your Spiritual Meat, and Father, as we prepare to dine on the sustenance which sustains our inner man, we ask that You Oh LORD open our ears and eyes, that we might be able to hear and see your Truths, open our hearts and minds and prepare us in order that we may receive Your Truth. We Pray for Your Understanding of Your Word, we seek Your Knowledge in Your Word, and most importantly Father, we Pray for and desire Your Wisdom from Your Word, in Jesus Precious name we Pray, thank You Father, Amen.

7:1-28 Priesthood of The Son (Messiah):
                                          After Order of Melchisedec.

1A1
Hebrews 7:1 For this Melchisedec, King of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;   —>   Paul is referencing Genesis 14, so lets go back and read what and why Paul referenced this. To set the stage on this, lets understand that AbramAbrahams name before Father changed it to Abrahamwith his 318 servants had just returned from rescuing Abrahams nephew Lot, from Chedorlaomer and the kings that were his allies. Abram joined with these men of Sodom, because Chedorlaomer and his allies had warred against and overran Sodom and the cities surrounding it. This of course is before Father rains down those flaming hailstones onto Sodom and Gomorrah when His Angels tell Lot to flee with his family. But here, Chedorlaomer had taken many people of Sodom and Gomorrah captive, including Lot and his family. Now that Abram has returned, lets read what we came here for: Genesis 14:16 And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.   —>   Abram and his servants who went with him were successful in rescuing his nephew and the others who had been captured. [14:17] And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the kings dale.   —>   Again, this is before Father sends the two angels to tell Lot and his family to flee because of the perversion that takes place in Sodom and Gomorrah. This next verse is why we came back here to Genesis 14. It is also the third presentation in this study of Jesus walking in this Age prior to being born in the flesh: (Genesis 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the MOST HIGH GOD.   —>   The word or title Melchizedek comes from two Hebrew words: Melka meaning King, and Zedek or righteous. Lets look at it in the Strongs Concordance, in Greek, we find that it is Greek word number: G3198, - Μελχισεδέκ, - Melchisedek, pronounced - mel-khis-ed-ek, and means: Of Hebrew origin [H4442]; Melchisedek (that is, Malkitsedek), a patriarch: - Melchisedec. Total KJV occurrences: 9.. From Hebrew word number H4442, so Lets look at it in the Hebrew,: H4442, - מַלְכִּי־צֶדֶק, - malkı̂y-tsedeq, pronounced - mal-kee-tsehי-dek, and means: From H4428 and H6664; king of right; Malki-Tsedekthis author and writer of this Study, strongly disagrees with Dr. Strongs meaning in the next statementan early king in Palestine: - Melchizedek. Total KJV occurrences: 2.. Jesus is the King of the righteous, King of righteousness or King of Peace. Paul discusses this Most High Priesthood of the Son, or Messiah in Hebrews 7 the Chapter we are in right now. He also relates Abrams relationship to Father to the unchangeable priesthood of the Levitical priesthood, in relation to Jesus Christ as being the Chief Priest over all priests. The first thing this Melchizedek offers to Abraham, is what will become in the future to Abrahams time, the Sacraments of Holy Communion Christs Body and Blood. The Priest of the Most High God is Jesus Christ. He is the Chief Priest, the Lord of lords and the King of kings. In the phrase MOST HIGH GOD=We have Father in His role of EL ELYON. This Title stresses Fathers Strength, Sovereignty, and Supremacy. It is EL and ELOHIM, not as the powerful Creator, but as the possessor of heaven and earth. Hence the name is associated with Christ as the Son of the Highestas read in Luke 1:35. It is ELYON, as possessor of the earth, Who divides the nations their inheritance. In Psalm 83:18, He is over all the earth. The title occurs 36 times6×6, or 62. ELYON is the Dispenser of Fathers blessings in the earth; the blessings proceeding from a Priest Who is a King upon His thronecompare Genesis 14:18-22 with Zechariah 6:13; 14:9. Genesis 14:19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the MOST HIGH GOD, possessor of heaven and earth:   —>   The Kingship of Jesus Christ, sprang out of Judah, where His Priesthood from the Levitical priesthood. Paul teaches that when we are under the blood of Christ, then we are not under a law of carnal commandments, but become an eternal Priest, after the Order of MelchizedekChrist. It is well worth the time to study the entire study on Melchizedek, which began with Hebrews 6:20 and continues to the end of this Chapter 7:28. Genesis 14:20 And blessed be the MOST HIGH GOD, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.)   —>   Father blessed Abram for his slaughtering the evil Babylonians, and for Abram in remembering Father with a tenth of his blessings. The giving of the tithe, is a form of worship of Father. The tithe means one tenth and it is to be the first and best of your blessing. If you cant do it Fathers way and make it your best, dont insult Him. The tithe is Fathers, something which is His already.

Jesus addressed His existence and relationship to Abraham in John 8: John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day: and he saw it, and was glad.   —>   Abram understood the Promise(s) of Father, and he observed Christ on that day. Abram understood that Fathers Promise, was of the Promised Messiah, and he rejoiced. [8:57] Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast Thou seen Abraham?   —>   In John 8:44, Jesus had already identified these pack of Jews as kenites the offspring of satan through Cain, the first murderer; and these sons of satan are asking Jesus the question about His seeing father Abraham. [8:58] Jesus said unto them, Verily, Verily, (Truly, Truly) I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.   —>   I am=I am is the sacred name of Father which He told Moses in Exodus 3:14Exodus 3:13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? [3:14] And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.    —>   Father simply answered Moses ehyeh-asher-ehyeh. The phrase ehyeh-asher-ehyeh (rendered as I AM THAT I AM in the KJV) derives from the Qal imperfect first person form of the verb hayah I will Be, and therefore indicates a connection between the name YHVH and being itself. Father in His Role of YHVH, is the source of all being and has being inherent in Himself (i.e., He is necessary Being). Everything else is contingent being that derives existence from Him. The name YHVH also bespeaks the utter transcendence of Father. In Himself, Father is beyond all predictions or attributes of language. He is the Source and Foundation of all possibility of utterance and thus is beyond all definite descriptions. The special name of Father YHVH was and is moreover combined with The God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob to be Fathers name forever, My memorial to all generations see Exodus 3:15-16. ELOHIM is the Name give for Father as Creator of the universe (Genesis 1:1-2:4) and implies Strength, Power, and Justice. YHVH on the other hand, expresses the idea of Fathers Closeness to His Children. For example, YHVH breathed into Adams nostrils the breath of life in Genesis 2:7and Jesus has just told these kenite sons of satan, that it was He Who was with Abraham. Abraham saw Christ the King of RighteousnessMelchizedekon that day that when he returned from battle, as the kinsman redeemer, saving the life of his next of kin, his nephew Lot.

It will be Melchizedek our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Who is our kinsman redeemer, later, after He passes through the womb of woman; and becomes the kinsman redeemer of all mankind who will believe upon His name. Jesus Christ shed His blood in order to save His near of Kin, and that of whom ever will call upon Him and believe in His name.

Lets return now to Hebrews 7:
1A2
Hebrews 7:2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all: first being by intrepretation king of righeousness, and after that also king of Salem, which is, King of peace;   —>   As we read above, Abraham did give tithes to Melchisedec.

                                       7:3 His Priesthood not transmissible.
1A3
Hebrews 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but, made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.   —>   "without father" in the Greek, in the Strong's Concordance is Greek word number G540 - apatōr, pronounced - ap-at'-ore, and means: From G1 (as a negative particle) and G3962; fatherless, that is, of unrecorded paternity: - without father. - Therefore without pedigree. These three words: apator; ametor and agenealogetos - are found only here in this verse.

For our purposes and in reality our Father - God, is not natural (human), He is a supernatural entity (Spiritual - the same body we (our soul) longs to be back in). Therefore Melchisedec had no pedigree showing His authority, he just showed up before Abraham, yet Abraham knew Him, and that the tithe was deserving to Him.

Melchisedec was made like the Son of God, because He is the Son of God - Jesus Christ. Remember this giving of the tithe took place almost two thousand years before the birth of Jesus, from the womb of the Virgin Mary. The reason that Melchisedec looked like the Son of God, was that He was the Son of God. This should not be a problem of understanding that this King of peace and righteousness was Christ, because there is only one that will fit this description in the entire Bible.

Why would you marvel at Jesus Christ, the Word of God being present during the time of Abraham, when Christ, the Word was present during the reconstruction of this very earth, following the fall of satan, and the third of the angels that followed him. Genesis 1:2 And the earth was ("became" in the Hebrew) without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.   ->   Father stated in John 1:1-3 that His Son who is the Word was with Him there. John 1:1 In the Beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [1:2] The same was in the beginning with God. [1:3] All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.   ->   Let's see what Jesus had to say about who Christ was, in relation to Abraham and Melchisedec. This is in response to the scribes and Pharisees questioning of Jesus as to where He came from.

We saw commentary in the verse previous - Hebrews 7:2, that when Jesus was speaking to the "Jews" in John 8:58, He stated "before Abraham was 'I AM'" He used the sacred name of Father for a reason. That sacred name is the name Father identified Himself to Moses in Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, "I AM THAT I AM:" and He said, "Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, `I AM hath sent me unto you.'   ->   " In the Hebrew tongue, "I AM THAT I AM'" is "'ehyeh 'asher 'ehyeh", which when fully translated says, "I will be what I will be, or become" This is why we can say of Jesus Christ that "He was forever after the order of Melchisedec." Use your common sense and listen to the teachings of Christ when He identifies Himself as our once and for all sacrifice, and High Priest; rather then the listening to the "higher critics", who's self-appointed duty is to tare down God's Word.

Hebrews 7:4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the thnth of the spoils.   ->   Whom are we to pay our tithes too? To Father. Yes we give them through the "church," but they go to Father. Here, as Paul is telling us, Abraham knew that this Melchizedec was God and rightful to receive the tithe.

Hebrews 7:5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:   ->   Aaron, Miriam and Moses were the offspring of Amram, who was the son of Kohath, who was the son of Levi. It was Aaron and the Levites who Father appointed and anointed in Leviticus 8 to be His priests and Aaron and his sons and their offspring who were to be the high priests of YHVH.

Let's look at the word "tithe," in the Hebrew there are according to the Strong's Concordance two Hebrew words and one Greek word for "tithe," they are Hebrew word numbers: H4643 and H6237. We'll start with: H4643 - מעשׂרה    מעשׂר    מעשׂר - ma‛ăśêr, ma‛ăśar or ma‛aśrâh, pronounced - mah-as-ayr', mah-as-ar', mah-as-raw', and means: From H6240; a tenth; especially a tithe: - tenth (part), tithe (-ing).; and now H6237 - עשׂר - ‛âśar, pronounced - aw-sar' and means: A primitive root (identical with H6238); to accumulate; but used only as denominative from H6235; to tithe, that is, take or give a tenth: -  X surely, give (take) the tenth, (have, take) tithe (-ing, -s), X truly.. Now we'll look at the Greek word for "tithe:" it is Greek word number: G586 - ἀποδεκατόω - apodekatoō, pronounced - ap-od-ek-at-o'-o, and means: From G575 and G1183; to tithe (as debtor or creditor): - (give, pay, take) tithe..

So now that we know what the word "tithe" means, let's learn who was to "take" it and what it was supposed to be used for. It was the Levitical priesthood that was to receive (take) the tithes from the people. The tithes are for Father and are given out of Love and reverence for Him. What were they to do when they collected the tithes? Leviticus 27:30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S: it is holy unto the LORD.   ->   So we see the tithe is Father's and it is holy unto Him, what else? Nehemiah 10:38 And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.   ->   The Levites - the priests, were to take the tithe and bring it into Father's House, then what were they to do with it? Numbers 18:24 But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.  ->   Father told Aaron and his sons that they were to take the part of the tithe for themselves and for the remaining priests because they had no inheritance in the land - He was and is their inheritance, but also: Deuteronomy 26:12 When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;   ->   They were to give part of the tithe tothe stranger; the fatherless; and the widow, why? Because Father was looking out for and taking care of those of His children that were less fortunate.

Hebrews 7:6 But He whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.   ->   Melchisdec was notdescended from nor counted in the lineage of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob (Israel), Levi or Aaron, nor was He in the Levitical Priesthood, but yet He was counted worthy to receive the tithe from Abraham and He also was able to bless Abraham. Remember that Levi was the great grandson of Abraham, the son of Jacob (Israel), and had not yet been born. This giving of the tithe to this Melchizedek had taken place over four hundred years before the Israelites even came out of Egypt. Melchisedec had the power to bless Abraham.

Hebrews 7:7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.  ->  How can this be? Because Melchisedec is Lord of lords and King of Kings, He as Christ, descended through both the Priest line through Levi - Mary; and the king line though Judah - David. The Levitical priesthood is the lesser of the Priesthood of Melchisedec.

Hebrews 7:8 And here men that die receive tithes die; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.   ->   The Levitical priesthood consisted of flesh man and we know that all flesh must die in order to return Home to Father. But Jesus, in His Priesthood as Melchisedec, received the tithes and He lives and today sits at the right hand of Father - God.

Hebrews 7:9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.   ->   Isaac, Jacob and the twelve patriarchs - including Levi have not yet been bordand yet here is Abraham apying tithe to one of Levi - Christ - Melchizedek.

Hebrews 7:10 For his was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.   ->   Jesus Christ who is Melchizedek is greater then Abraham – the father of many nations and also the father of Isaac and Jacob, and thus also greater then Levi. Our Lord - Jesus, who is the King and High Priest is the King of the Zadok (Zedek), which are the priests and disciplinarians of the Millennium age, as recorded in Ezekiel 44 and Revelation 20:5-6. The statement then, made here is that even Levi himself, who through the priestly tribe was designated to collect tithes, paid tithes to Melchizedek while in the loins of Abraham. Levi's birth would be over two hundred years from the time of Abraham's tithing to Melchisedec.

Hebrews 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it people received the law,) what further need was therethat another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?   ->   The law was good because it was ordained by Father through the "order of Aaron" and his priesthood. Though as we know from Paul in this same Book of Hebrews; the law could not save to salvation anyone – Hebrews 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

The law was given only as a measuring device to show man where he falls short of Father's law. No man can live completely by the law, and we all will fall short of the law from time to time, but never think that our Heavenly Father's law is bad; for even Jesus said He came not to do away with the law Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.   ->   It is because of mans inability to live by and keep the full law;, that we have the "order of Melchisedec," where we can find forgiveness when we fall short of
Father's law. That forgiveness comes when we believe on Jesus' name and we repent of our sins to our Heavenly Father.

Insert the word "salvation" in place of the word "perfection" in this verse; and make it read "If therefore salvation were by the Levitical priesthood...". This is asking Why it was, that when Jesus Christ came, that they didn't call Jesus after the Levitical priesthood, which is the "order of Aaron?" Christ's "ministry" instead was called after the "order of Melchisedec."

Hebrews 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.   ->   Let's continue Jesus' teaching of the "law" in Matthew 5, we already read v17, let's now continue on and read the remaining two verses on the subjest: Matthew 5:18 For verily I way unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot of one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. [5:19] Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.   ->   In v18Jesus said, "I didn't come to change the sound of one letter in the entire law." The order of Melchisedec, through Christ, allowed an extension of the law in order to bring forgiveness through repentance.

Hebrews 7:13 For He of Whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.   ->   Remember Jesus lineage is of two Tribes - Levi - the Priesthood, which we just and are reading about - which gave attendance at the altar; but also of the lineage of Judah - the king line which, being not the priests, did not give attendance at the altar, the king line had to go to and through the priests.

Within Father's Word, there are truths which are hidden, which are a mystery to many Christians – they just cannot grasp these truths without Father's Holy Spirit revealing them to these Christians. Here Paul is speaking of the tribe of Judah, which was to carry the scepter, the right to rule – the king line. We read in Genesis 49:10 The sceptre - right to rule as the kings - shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto Him shall the gathering of the people be.   ->   So we can see that Father gave the Tribe of Judah, until Jesus' Second Advent, the right to sit upon man's earthly throne and rule.

It was the priesthood – the Levitical line – which was to tend to Father's altar and minister to all the Tribes, whereas the kingship – line of Judah - was to rule all the Tribes. The Levitical priesthood was to teach and instruct in the following of the law, while the Judah tribe was maintaining the order under that law, or the judicial aspect of the law.

Hebrews 7:14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning the priesthood.

Hebrews 7:15And yet it is far more evident: for that after the similtude of Melchisedec there ariseth another Priest,

Hebrews 7:16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.   ->   As I stated above, while it's true that part of Jesus' lineage descended from the tribe of Judah on His mother's father's side. He also was of the lineage of Levi, through Mary's mother's side as is evidenced by the statement in Luke 1:36 "thy cousin Elizabeth." Our Lord Jesus' Father was of course - Almighty God.

When we read the lineage in Matthew 1, we see that this is the blood line of Joseph, the husband to be of Mary, who had not one thing to do with the conception of Jesus, except in the manner of "by law" of an adopted Son.

In Luke 3:23-38 we read of the genealogy of the Virgin Mary. The term "as was supposed" in v23 would be better translated: "by law." This is giving Joseph's "father in law's lineage." It is Mary's father's lineage through David to Abraham. When a female was the only child by law of a family, when she married the seed line of her father would be passed on to her husband. Today we still practice this, and it is called "the in-laws." This is where we get the terms - father-in-law, brother-in-law and so on.

Jesus lineage from Levi, comes then from Mary's mother, which we also derive from Luke 1:35-36 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost (Spirit) shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. [1:36] And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.   ->   Elisabeth was married to Zacharias, and thus "by law," for Zacharias to be serving as priest, and the order of the "course of Abia," both Zacharias and his wife had to be of full Levite lineage.

So we see that by both – "lineage" and by "law," Jesus' lineage came through the King line - Judah and the priest line, however through His True FatherAlmighty God, He was and is the rightful heir to the very throne of God.

Jesus' right to the Throne came not by the command of a man's order, but by His and our Father - Almighty God. There were many priests, and they would all die and need a replacement, however Melchisedec had no mother nor father - in the order of the human priest line, He has an endless priesthood; Thus Melchisedec is Christ.

Hebrews 7:17 For He testifieth, "Thou arta Priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec."   ->   Father God Himself is He that testifies that His Son Jesus is The Priest forever after the Order of Melchizedek. Where can we read of this? In Psalms 110, and it reads: Psalms 110:1 The LORD said unto My LORD, "Sit Thou at My right hand, Until I make Thine enemies Thy footstool."   ->   This is the verse quoted by Jesus in Matthew 22:41-46. Let’s take a look at that passage: Matthew 22:41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, [22:42]
Saying, "What think ye of Christ? Whose Son is He?" They say unto Him, "The Son of David." [22:43] He saith unto them, "How then doth David in spirit call Him Lord, saying, [22:44] 'The Lord said unto My Lord, 'Sit Thou on My right hand, till I make Thine enemies Thy footstool?' [22:45] If David then call Him Lord, how is He his Son?" [22:46] And no man was able to answer Him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask Him any more questions.
->   So we see Jesus Himself quoted from David here, as did Peter in Acts 2:34-35, and Paul in Hebrews 1:13. This time that our Lord Jesus Christ makes His enemies His footstool is on the "day of Vengeance," or better put "the Day of the Lord - The Lord's Day;" at His return. Then all evil will be gone, and satan will be bound, and cast in the pit for the thousand year period where his spirit will not have the ability to deceive anybody during that time. The things of this earth age of flesh man will be completely done away with, and all mankind will be changed from their fleshly corruptible bodies, into their spiritual bodies - the same bodies that the angels have, for the next thousand year period.  Psalms 110:2 The LORD shall send the rod of Thy strength out of Zion: Rule Thou in the midst of Thine enemies.   -> When our Lord Jesus returns, and during His millennial reign here on earth, He Will rule with a rod of iron as can be read in Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse: and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war. [19:12] His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. [19:13] And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God. [19:14] And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. [19:15] And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. [19:16] And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.   ->   This all takes place after Revelation 11, when the two witnesses of God - those two Olive Trees of Zechariah 4have emptied out the golden oil of Truth to God's Elect who then are delivered up for a testimony against satan - as anti-christ, as is recorded in Mark 13:9-11. God told satan to "touch NOT Mine anointed" and these two witnesses are anointed of God, just as satan himself once was an anointed cherub as can be read in Ezekiel 28, and after the two witnesses pour out their oil, satan has them killed and they then lay in the street or in the Greek the "platiah - or wide open place or square," for three and a half days. The whole time they lay there dead, the people of the earth are giving a huge party and exchanging gifts with each other because they have killed them. At the end of these three and a half days, God's Spirit enters into them, and to the exceedingly great astonishment and fear of all those that are rejoicing, the two witnesses stand up upon their feet, then God commands them to come up hither" and they ascend up into heaven. Then comes the sounding of the seventh trumpet and Jesus with that "flame of fire" in His eyes and the rod of iron in His hand to usher in His 1,000 year millennial reign. Psalms 110:3 Thy People shall be willing in the day of Thy power, In the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: Thou hast the dew of Thy youth.  ->   Who are these "Thy People"? In the Hebrew, in the Strong's Concordance, it is Hebrew word number H5971 - 'am, pronounced - am and means: From 6004; a people (as a congregated unit); specifically a tribe (as those of Israel); hence (collectively) troops or attendants; figuratively a flock: - folk, men, nation, people. So these "Thy People" are a group of people that have a common purpose or goal. These people are those of God's Elect - those that He chose from the "foundation of the world," who will willingly be delivered up to satan and his counsels to give that testimony of Mark 13:9-11. It is these people and ONLY at this time that have the ability to commit the unpardonable sin. How and why is this? because these people have been judged already, they were so during the first earth age when they stood with God against satan and that one third of God's children that followed satan during his rebellion. What is their testimony? Luke 12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Spirit it shall not be forgiven. [12:11] And when they bring you into the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: [12:12] For the Holy Spirit shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.   ->   also see Acts 2:6-21 and Joel 2. This next verse is why we came here to Psalms 110.  Psalms 110:4 The LORD hath sword, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever, After the order of Melchizedek.   ->   Father has spoken and will not change; of course, two other verses support this non changing of our Father concerning His Word: (1) John 1:1; and (2) Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.   ->   So no, Father will NOT change His Word, nor the events and how it was written. Now let's look at this Melchizedek. Who is this? It is Jesus Christ - The High Priest of God. Let's break the name\word "Melchizedek" down. The word is formed from two words (1) Melchi - which means King, or, King of and (2) Righteousness, or, the just. Melchizedek's Priesthood was unique as it did not pass down to another, as did Aaron's. Hence, Christ's Priesthood, being in Resurrection life and ascension glory, will continue forever, and He will be a Priest upon His throne Zechariah 6:13, and a Priest forever. So then, just who are the "just"? It is the Elect of God - those chosen from the "foundation of the world." This is the second time I have mentioned this phrase, and you might ask - "so just what does it mean and where does it come from?" The phrase is found ten times in the New Testament: Matthew 13:35, 25:34; Luke 11:50; John 17:24; Ephesians 1:4; Hebrews 4:3, 9:26; I Peter 1:20; and Revelation 13:8 and 17:8. In the Greek, in the Strong's Concordance it is derived from the Greek word G2602 - katabole, pronounced - kat-ab-ol-ay' and means: From G2598; A deposition, that is, founding; figuratively conception: - conceive, foundation. Now let's look at G2598 kataballo, pronounced - kat-ab-al-lo' and means: From G2596 and G906; to throw down: - to cast down, lay. - In other words, it is from the time that Father cast the age that was - when satan rebelled and caused that one third of Father's children to rebel with him, aside. There was a war then, just as there is about to be a war in heaven between Michael and his angels and they will fight against satan and his angels. During that fight that was, those angels that fought against satan then, we thereby judged by Father and have already become part of the first resurrection. At the end of that war, He destroyed that age - and it was at that time the earth became a desolate waste - we know it as the "ice age." Father destroyed the "age" so that He would not have to destroy His children. For further clarification on this see Appendix 146 in the Companion Bible. Psalms 110:5 The LORD* at Thy right hand Shall strike through kings in the day of His wrath.   ->   "*" This is one of the 134 places where the Sopherim changed YHVH to Adonai. This will happen at the end of this age when Father brings it to a close in order to usher in The LORD'S Day. So what will take place at the end of this age? As is described in Daniel 7 and Revelation 17, there will first be ten earthly kings who will rule over the One World Political System of the end of this age. Then, just prior to satan's coming as "pretending to be jesus" - "instead of christ" - anti-christ, satan will send, with Father's permission, ten of his fallen angels to take over the One World Political System. Let's allow Father to tell it to us, I will do this with Daniel and Revelation in conjunction with each other, one from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament - Two Witnesses: Daniel 7:7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and break in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.   ->   Revelation 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his head.  ->   Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his head the name of blasphemy.   ->   This is none other than satan as is identified by Revelation 12:3, and the ten horns are the ten fallen angels he will bring so take over the One World Political System. Daniel 7:19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass, which devoured, break in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; [7:20] And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.  ->   Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.   ->    Revelation 7:7 And the angel said unto me, "Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath seven heads and ten horns.   ->   The same angel which showed Daniel what the vision was is now showing John and us. Daniel 7:24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.   ->   Revelation 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. [17:13] These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. [17:14] These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.   ->   These ten fallen angels change the One World Political System into a One World ReligiousSystem which satan as anti-christ will then take over from them. Then, as we see, it IS written, Jesus will defeat the beast - anti-christ, that role that satan plays, and we can read in Revelation 19:20 that they are thrown into the Lake of Fire. Psalms 110:6 He shall judge among the heathen, He shall fill the places with the dead bodies; He shall wound the heads over many countries.   ->   These things are going to come to pass during our generation as can be read in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. We will read it in Matthew 24:32 Now learn the parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh;   ->   We ARE in the Fig Tree Generation. You might ask, "how do I know this for sure?" Go and read Jeremiah 24 where it is explained in detail, but suffice it to say that that Fig Tree was set out in May of the year 1948. If you expect Jesus to come first, you will be deceived because satan is the one who comes BEFORE the True Christ. How and Why? He is SENT BY GOD as a TEST for US, to see WHO HAS READ HIS WORD. Satan will come looking like Christ, or, like you would expect Jesus to look. Matthew 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.   ->   Want to please our Father? Learn His Word and Listen to His Prophesies - this IS one of His Prophesies here that we are reading of, and you'd be wise to learn it. All these things are coming to pass daily, right before our eyes and you can witness them nightly on the evening news. Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.   ->   Are you versed in Father's Word and have it "Sealed" in your mind? "sealed" G4972 - sphragizō, pronounced - sfrag-id'-zo and means: From G4973; to stamp (with a signet or private mark) for security or preservation (literally or figuratively); by implication to keep secret, to attest: - (set a, set to) seal up, stop. - Psalms 110:7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: Therefore He shall lift up the head.   ->   The phrase in this verse - "He shall lift up the head." is talking about the very first prophesy in all of Father's Word: Genesis 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, "Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: [3:15] (verse v14 ended with a colon and therefore Father is still talking to satan in his role of the serpent here in verse v15) And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her Seed; It shall bruise thy head and thou shalt bruise His heel."   ->   It is Father saying here in these two verses that satan seduced Eve in the Garden of Eden, AND it is Father that is saying that satan's offspring will crucify Christ on the cross but in the end, at the end of Christ's 1,000 year millennial reign, and during the Great White Throne, Father will cast satan, and all the others who followed himinto the Lake of Fire.

Hebrews 7:18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.  ->   The "law" with the sacrificing of bills and goats could not save anyone which is why Jesus had to go back to all those that had been born before Him, in order that He might save those that would believe upon Him. When He went back to them, He disannulled or dismantled the law. So today, 1,978 years after Jesus dide in the flesh upon the cross, all we have to do to be saved is believe upon His Name, repent and ask for His forgiveness.

Hebrews 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the brining in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.  ->   Though the law was good for the time that it was for, it just could never save anyone. Today we draw nigh unto God through His Son, our LORD - Jesus Christ, He is the hope of our salvation. Through the drawing of His Holy Spirit, He is in us, and We are in Him. This means that our High Priest now is not here on earth, but He is sitting at the right hand of Almighty God, as our advocate when we fall short and repent. Jesus is behind that vail of secrecy whereby He knows everything, He hears and controls everything. Your advocate is your defender (lawyer) for those times in which you fall short of God's laws and instructions.

Hebrews 7:20 And inasmuch as not without an oath He was made Priest.   ->   It was Father that set the Levites as His earthly High priests and priests and it is Father that set Jesus as His High Priest without end.  No man did nor could any man set Jesus as the High Priest - Melchisedec. Father - YHVH made the Covenant oaths between He and His creation - man, and it was through an oath, these Covenants were made and are kept but, when He set Jesus as His High Priest, He needed not sware by an oath because when Father swares, He does so by and on Himself.

Hebrews 7:21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but This with an oath by Him That said unto Him, "The LORD Sware and will not repent, Thou arta Priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.")   ->   We can again see Psalms 110 within this verse. Father made this oath not man, just as it was and is Father that set Melchizedec - Jesus - Emmanuel - God with us, as Priest forever!

Likewise also, when Father appointed and anointed Aaron and his sons as the high priests and priests, there was not an oath made between Father and the Levites - Father just said it would be they - the Levites.

Hebrews 7:22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.   ->   The word "was" is better translated "hath" or has become and is thus befitting of Jesus, for He has become. What is it that He has become? For our answer to that we look to the next word… "surety." Surety means "guarantee," and by our Father gave us His children a guarantee that Jesus would be our High Priest after the order of Melchisedec. He is our priest, not of flesh, but supernatural, Who is free from all holds by any man.

Way back in the Old Testament, only a scant few hundred years after coming up out of Egypt, the Children of Israel got to the point that they didn't trust in Father to be their King, they wanted to be like the nations all around them and have a man king, one that was visible to the eye ( remember, Father had be visible to the Israelites when they came out of Egypt until, they became scared of Him for their doing wrong, then they told Moses they he could see and talk with Father and relay Father's message to them). Father gave them their wish – a man – Saul, to be their first flesh man king.  After Saul was rejected by Father and killed himself, because David had relied on Father when he went up against Goliath, Father anointed him to be the next man king to rule over Israel. Jesus was born from the seed of David, by the Virgin Mary's lineage. However, God is saying that because He – Almighty God is Jesus' true Father, Jesus has yet another title and that is of the High Priest which only God could put upon Him.

The law of the Old Covenant and Testament is good; and though man cannot fully live up to and keep the law, we still use that law to guide our actions and words, and still live within the confines of that law. We find that most of the trouble that does come our way is when someone rejects the Father's laws. Most all laws in our Country and community today is still based in part on the laws of God. The only disallowing of the law is that there is forgiveness from the violation of the law through repentance in Christ. This is not talking about ordinances and statutes for Christians are supposed to know the difference between the laws (commandments), ordinances and statutes (blood rituals, rites or sacrifices).

Hebrews 7:23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death.   ->   First there was Aaron, then his son Eleazar as the high priest and the Levites as the priests, each one was as they were, and each one died in the flesh and were priests no more but, Jesus, being He is also of the Great "I AM" - the Logos, always was - "Alpha" and always will be - "Omega," He was and is Melchisedec.

Hebrews 7:24 But this Man, because He continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.   ->   Change out the word "Man" with the word "Priest" and the word "continueth" with the word "abideth" and the verse should read "But this Priest, because He abideth ever..." When Jesus arose up out of the tomb and ascended up into heaven to be at the right hand of Father, there can be no one who can replace Him and we can see the reason for this in our next verse:

Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.   ->   There is no depth that a person can sink in sin, in which Jesus cannot reach down and save that soul, save one – the unpardonable. And that one, only because the ones who are able to commit that one sin, have already been judged by Father and if they refuse to allow Father to speak through their mouths, which is their commission, then they have committed the unpardonable and for that, even Jesus cannot forgive. Once any other person comes to see the sins which they have committed, and comes to believe on Jesus' name, that person can cry out in repentance to our Heavenly Father and he will be forgiven. How and why is this? Because Jesus is our advocate, our intercessor, He became so when He went to and died on that cross for us.

The whole reason we need to ask forgiveness in Jesus name, is because it was His death on the cross that paid the full price for our sins, each and every one. Every sin must be repented of and paid for, and when you come to the knowledge that Jesus is the Son of God, and that His blood is what paid the price for that sin, then, the Name of Jesus is what we claim for the repentance of our sin. There just is no other way. Even after we have been saved and baptized, we all will fall short from time to time, and each time we sin, that sin must be repented of and having a change of heart of. No it is not being saved over again, but the acknowledgement of our shorting fall.

When Jesus intercedes in your life, He performs a miracle and keeps His promises that He gave to us, all the way back to the very beginning. When you believe on Jesus, there is nothing to small that Jesus will not help you with. His intercession will bless you as an heir to the promises of the throne of God. You have to become a doer of the Word, before there is a payday..

Hebrews 7:26 For such an High Priest became us, Who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;   ->   There is only one who was sinless in a flesh body; and that was God in the flesh - Emmanuel - Jesus Christ. Likewise also as this verse declares - "for such an High Priest became us" God too did partake of the flesh in order to defeat our enemy - satan. By becoming flesh, He allowed satan to "kill His flesh body" though it was satan's children, the were being obedient to their father. This was His - Father's, plan from the beginning, this way, satan can offer no defense when Father deposes him in the Lake of Fire.

He is higher than the heavens because He created everything!

Hebrews 7:27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for His own sins, and then for the people's: for this He did once, when He offered up Himself.   ->   As we know from Leviticus 9 and Leviticus 16; before the high priest could offer up a sacrifice for the sins of the people, he first had to offer up sacrifices for his own sins. Leviticus 9:6 And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you. [9:7] And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded.   ->   Every fleshly high priest had to offer sacrifices for their own sins before they could offer up sacrifices for the sins of the people else Father would have struck that high priest down when he went onto the temple to do the offering for the people. Leviticus 9:8 Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

But Jesus being perfect and having no sin, offered up Himself for all of our sins and since He was and is God in the flesh it only needed to be completed one time see Hebrews 10.

Hebrews 7:28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, Who is consecrated for evermore.   ->   The law did make men high priests, and those men all fell short of the law and sinned. The oath was made by Father to His Son that He would be Melchisedec, The High Priest forever. It was God the Father that made the oath, and it was His Son that fulfilled the sacrifices that the law demanded for those falling short of that law. Jesus is always with us, it is written, and it is so. When we do our best to live within the law, even though we are no longer "under the law," - yes the law is still in place; have you not seen the laws of stealing, murder and such, but today it is by His Grace that we are we now saved, once we repent and ask for His forgiveness.
